Take management's deadlines and add 6 months to 1 year. Not sure why they keep giving optimistic deadlines that are never met.
You're right. My mistake. Most of the trades happened at 0.42.
Does anybody have access to the level 2 data on TSX?
I don't have level 2 data either but from the looks of it, there are sellers above 0.42 that keep coming down to the bid. Just an observation.

You would need to see the level 2 data before saying there are no sellers.
The sellers are always coming down to the bid. Buyers are not buying at the ask right now.
Lots of selling down here but looks like there is good support for now.
I also picked up a block of shares at 0.39 CAD. Hopefully it doesn't drop much lower.
Just hit 0.39 with 100k volume on the TSX. Lots of volume down here.
Take management's timelines with a grain of salt. They are usually late.
Its just the nature of working on a complex project of this size with minimal resources on the team.
Happy Thanksgiving from Canada.
Volume dried up today. Only 10k shares traded on the TSX. May be related to the OTC being closed today.
Possibly. I want to see a good base get built here so we don't see the 0.40s ever again.
I think we touch 0.40 CAD again before breaking out above 0.50.
I like the accumulation we're seeing in the 0.40s range. Hopefully long term holders are picking up the shares.
I'm seeing strong support at 0.40 CAD. Look at the volume.
If you are looking to pick up more shares, now would be the time.
Crazy the market cap is at 80 million CAD. This thing is so oversold.
When is the right time to buy some more? Should I wait until we get further into tax loss season?
I never get the timing right and don't want to catch a falling knife.
Its very possible we could see it drift lower but lets take a step back and think about it.
There are currently 200 million shares outstanding. Worst case 800 million more shares are issued for the equity financing. NioCorp is at least worth a couple billion when production starts. That translates to at least a PPS of 2.00 CAD when its all said and done. Not what us longs are hoping for but still a great return in a worst case scenario.
I have to listen to the call again but Mark is very aware of the drifting PPS. He said he will do everything in his power to increase it before dilution because he is the most affected being the largest shareholder.
I'm stumped at the PPS. Sometimes the market is irrational. In this case very irrational.
Take a look at Twitter, its worth 15 billion and they are not even profitable. Ridiculous.
Many of the longs here know I have been critical of the company in the past and not very optimistic but there is great potential here.
Maybe I heard wrong because Mark said that dilution is unavoidable in the last answer in the questions portion.
I'll have to listen to the webcast again for clarification.
Very upbeat call overall. Will pick up more shares once I see some direction in the PPS.
Did Mark just say that the whole project could be debt financed? I'll have to listen to it again.
Edit: Nevermind. Mark clarified this in the questions portion.
Us longs don't understand either. There has been so much progress but the PPS is moving backwards.
Should be a matter of time but waiting for a reversal is painful.
I take this meeting is going to be informational. Not sure how much this will help the knowledgeable investors on this board.
We will only see something new if there's a halt in trading.
Does the meeting tomorrow occur during market hours?
Exactly my thoughts Grunt. I don't mind being patient and waiting for the project to unfold but the low PPS will affect the amount of dilution that will occur.
I asked IR about the about how the PPS affects the financing negotiations but haven't received an answer.
IBC is getting killed right now.
NioCorp is down but on very low volume. It would be concerning if we saw selling with high volume. It sucks either way.
Who are you and can you finance a billion dollar mine interest free?
I'm not sure that route can be taken without redoing the FS.
Mark has mentioned that the financing efforts have been going well so I assume the financing package will be delivered in due time.
The biggest question for me is the amount of dilution that will occur in the equity package. That is a big unknown right now and can make or break this investment in my opinion.
I doubt many people fully understand the inner workings of the potential Scandium market.
Note that we went from a Niobium mine to a 3 alloy mine and it states in the FS that the mine is not investment grade without a Scandium offtake.
I don't agree with the article that its not economically feasible.
NioCorp could have went with just producing Niobium with a smaller capex but Mark saw an opportunity with Scandium.
People tend to forget that Mark has 36 years of experience in the mining industry and has built a quality team around him. He knows what he's doing.
I haven't personally met Mark but others on this board have. I think they would agree with me.
Thanks for that Landmark.
There is so much potential. It's just a matter of time.
Yes, that was off topic. I posted before seeing Stark’s message.
Good day.
Yes agreed. There are too many variables to compare companies outright but it may give a general idea.
I think the biggest unknown variable right now is the number of outstanding shares after the equity financing.
Landmark,
We shouldn't compare the share price with other mining companies due to a different amount of outstanding shares.
It may be more useful to compare the market cap.
I bet those companies you listed are in the billion dollar range. NioCorp is at a measly 100 million - huge room for growth.
Strong day. The stock is so oversold, it has to go back to a reasonable level.
A couple more days with strong buying volume will see us over 0.60 CAD. Once the buying steps in, the daily 500 seller can't control the PPS.
I originally thought that financing may not come until 2018 but with yesterday's news, we may see something before year end.
We broke 0.50 CAD. Hopefully this is the start of a reversal.
I've never seen a CEO with this kind of commitment to his company.
Too bad the market doesn't think so. People selling at this level must be really impatient, need the money badly or purposely driving down the PPS.
The market cap is at 100 million. I've seen stocks with absolutely no potential get valuated at a billion. It's ridiculous.
Hold strong and remember its small volume.
NioCorp CEO Mark Smith Increases His Personal Stake in NioCorp in Order to Accelerate the Company’s Current Elk Creek Project Finance Efforts
CENTENNIAL, Colo. – (October 19, 2017) --NioCorp Developments Ltd. (“NioCorp” or the “Company”) (TSX: NB; OTCQX: NIOBF; and FSE: BR3) today announces that CEO and Executive Chairman Mark Smith is increasing his personal stake in the Company by providing USD $180,000 in funding under an existing credit facility with the Company in order to accelerate NioCorp’s ongoing Elk Creek project finance efforts.

On Behalf of the Board of Directors
Am I only seeing 30,000 shares traded? Is that correct?
The selling continues. We need buyers to provide support.
We forgot to turn the stove on with the way the PPS is acting lol. The manipulator is getting there way.
Has anybody dug into the news release from today? Any new tidbits?
We're at 0.51 CAD now. I said yesterday I would stop watching the PPS but this is terrible.
If we drop to 0.49, we could see a sell off unfortunately.
I need to stop watching the PPS everyday. There's really nothing else we can do other than wait for management to follow through on the process.
I agree with you on the CAPEX and dilution. The market sees a billion dollar CAPEX and a 0.50 CAD PPS with the need for large dilution - not exactly a great opportunity for people that haven't done their research. If I was an investor without the time to do due diligence on NioCorp, I would take one look at the chart and close it right away.
Many investors on this board have done their research and know what a great opportunity it is. We just have to hope we collectively have made the right decision.
We may look back and realize we were just stressing ourselves out over nothing. Or we could be completely wrong and lose a large amount of money lol. We made the choice to invest in a speculative stock with the high chance of a large reward but at the cost of taking a risk.
GLTA and take a break from watching the PPS.
I have expressed the same concerns as you. I'm worried about how management is going to naturally raise the PPS to acceptable levels for dilution without a RS especially when the PPS is being depressed by a daily seller. Some things are out of their control.
I recall Mark saying in one of the latest videos that the equity and debt sides have to come together at the same time. If they are currently in discussions for the equity, are they using the current PPS? I asked this question the other day on the board but haven't received a response. Maybe I'll shoot it over to Jim.
I can't see Mark allowing a large equity package to occur at 0.50 CAD. He has to have something up his sleeve. I would have already sold my shares if he didn't hold 20 million. He has a lot at stake.
Regarding the next small raise to allow operations to occur, hopefully its private placement to respectable investors that will hold the stock. We don't want to see the PPS drop into the 0.40s CAD.
I have dreams that the NioCorp chart will look like that one day.
Hi Grunt,
I agree with you about this being terrible for the PPS. This may bite us when its time for dilution.
Whoever is holding the PPS down is doing so with a purpose and can't be stopped because its not illegal. To actually stop it, you need to be a bigger fish to control the volume. The entity that is controlling the PPS is able to do so with measly 500 share trades.
Its tough to see management produce great results and de-risk the project to only have some a**holes control the PPS.
