Now ETRF 80k at 17...
Anyone catch that CDEL bid before they hid it under the .1501s? I saw 100k at 15.
TMPS
Yes, and some interesting numbers from yesterday. The drop took 10 minutes, and from the time of 8k to the bottom was about 750k shares before moving back up. Shares bought lower were not showing up on Ask, and it remained thin. This will still trade like a tight float, an if we get some clarification that is positive, can potentially move back up quickly.
We will see...
TMPS
I have done some reading today, and I am by no means an expert in this area, so I am hoping someone can comment on this:
What I have read is that there are two reasons for termination, and neither of these were mentioned in the 8k--termination for cause and termination for convenience.
I also read about "corrective actions" and from my reading those appear to be specific issues that need to be dealt with by the contractor.
But in this case, the "Navy has informed TriStar Air LLC that a decision has been made to take corrective action." As written, the Navy is the one to take corrective action, not TMPS, the contractor. We can analysis this all day and still end up needing clarification in a filing, but I am interested in your thoughts on this.
I just don't understand what happened, at all.
TMPS
.80s today, higher? Looking so strong:)
TMPS
Indeed! We are just getting started here and MUCH more movement north will come as a potential dismissal 8k hits, and then Qs, K and updates.
TMPS
I was not the first to post it, but thanks for the comment anyway!
Have a look at 5 year chart. Recent action, even going back to June 17, are just blips:)
IMO this has a long way to go yet, and that is up up up...
TMPS
Agreed. Tighter and tighter.... TMPS
Shout out to Stat for spotting .2. Whatever the process there, BOTH dismissed at once. Let's continue the march north, and then starting seeing updates and news.
TMPS
I imagine the stack of catalysts should start rolling in soon-- 8k, Qs, K, updates.
TMPS
Really great news this morning!
Thanks for link, I am monitoring it now.
TMPS
Excellent, actually BOTH .1 and .2 say dismissed...

Excellent post, Buck! TMPS
OTCX has been gone a couple of days, and now ARCA is top bid. TMPS
Haha ... Well, there is a little trading for you-- someone sold 250 shares into bid. Low volume days have been followed by moves up, so not too concerned about some paint to scare. My guess is that whomever let the 48s, 49s, and 50s go, might need slap to get back in, unless of course they are holding substantial positions greater then those few shares sold yesterday-- what was it, 10k total?
TMPS
What was interesting to me was that ETRF went to .50 right after the 8k hit, and I thought they would just move up until they filled. But, they filled at 50. So, maybe someone let a few go, or maybe MMs were trying to push it down-- which they have tried to aggressively for two days.
If someone took a few off the table, someone else was happy to grab some at 48, 49, 50, and 51, I am sure those are now held long with a much higher target in mind.
TMPS
Thanks, LR-- and now bid moves up to .50. I am not sure why they would put out this 8k, because there is nothing new here, unless like Stat pointed out prior, this is for the GAO .2 appeal/protest? But, that posted 25 days ago.
TMPS
I am interested in it for the potential sales, not as a user of the product. Water retention and soil erosion are both large scale problems, in addition to fire suppression.
GLTC
Navy already indicated they are confident in airworthiness when they awarded the contract. It is as simple as that.
There is no mystery here.
TMPS
Per communications last year, TMPS attended this conference:
https://www.eda.europa.eu/info-hub/events/2018/09/12/default-calendar/1st-air-to-air-refuelling-conference-in-europe
The European Defence Agency (EDA) is organizing the first Air-to-Air Refuelling (AAR) Conference in Europe. It will take place in Brussels on Wednesday 12 September 2018 from 08:30 AM to 17:00 PM.
The conference is an INVITE ONLY event. Invitees are being contacted by EDA and asked to register on a specific conference portal. Admittance to the event is then conditional on final approval and email confirmation by the organisers.
The AAR conference will bring together key decision-makers from the EU and NATO as well as the wider transatlantic and international Air-to-Air Refuelling community, including industry, to discuss and coordinate respective initiatives and efforts in the AAR domain.
The conference will address the state of play and the way forward for AAR. Discussions will include lessons learnt from AAR operations and possible solutions for remaining shortfalls from political and operational perspectives. The global dimension of the solutions at hand to resolve remaining shortfalls and the role of industry will also be debated.
Scheduled speakers include, among many others, the Defence Minister of Belgium, Steven Vandeput, the Chairman of the Aerial Refuelling Systems Advisory Group (ARSAG), General John Sams, a representative from NATO’s Defence Investment Division, as well as the Chief Executive of the European Defence Agency (EDA), Jorge Domecq.
Date & location
12 September 2018 08:00 AM – 5PM in Brussels
Agenda
A detailed agenda will be published later.
Background
Air-to-Air Refuelling (AAR) is a force multiplier and critical enabler for the projection of air power. Modern operations are less defined by national or even alliance-based endeavours but by coalitions of willing participants from anywhere on the globe. In coalition operations, pooled AAR tanker and receiver assets from various coalition partners must be interoperable to complete the mission.
Strategic level communiques from EU and NATO have both highlighted the need for increased AAR capacity and capability. For instance, EU and NATO leaders signed an unprecedented Joint Declaration during the 2016 NATO Warsaw Summit, solidifying their commitment to greater cooperation including in AAR. This Joint Declaration is now under implementation under the guidance of the Member States and Allies. Today, AAR demonstrates how complementary efforts of EU and NATO can tangibly and successfully fill a capability gap.
As of 2025, it is expected to see Europe meeting 70% mark of its stated tanking requirement. While this represents a major increase, it still leaves Europe with an overall shortfall of 30%. To optimise the use of existing assets in AAR, it is vital for nations to increase their interoperability. To this end, common trainings need to be held as a diverse and growing number of training participants leads to increased interoperability and effectiveness in operations. Multinational initiatives that standardise collection, recognition and sharing of data must continue, thus saving participating nations cost, time, and manpower.
In future, Automated/Autonomous Air-to-Air Refuelling (A3R) systems will operate. Therefore, it is imperative for national leadership to set requirements for A3R systems now. A3R also presents an opportunity for multinational development of systems which would reduce defence costs, decongest airspace, and decrease both sustainment costs and logistical footprints.

For further information, please contact Dion Polman, EDA AAR Project Officer: aarconference@eda.europa.eu.
My understanding is that the demand is so high that (they went to the NATO air refueling conference, too) that the Navy and NATO both need more capacity. So, the idea that TMPS will expand is a valid one, IMO.
TMPS
Since then, Oregon has signed up to use the new Blue product, and they also announced that it can be used on any federal land.
But, my interest is more focused on the Soil product.
GLTC
Well, since we were already awarded the contract, I imagine that the Navy is satisfied with the planned configuration. We are just waiting for GAO to deal with the appeal.
TMPS
Here is the 8k announcing the new appointment to the board (from June 6th):

Planes look great... thanks for posting this again.
TMPS
Thanks. Great post, as always, Billjay.
TMPS
So, it is just just me, right? This is different action than we have seen in the past. There just isn't any selling going on, and now these sorts of trades.
Or, rather, similar games, different numbers, and smaller lots ...
TMPS
Good to see you cheering TMPS on now, PP2002. Real potential here, agreed?
TMPS
.53 is the new .43. Once those go, 60s should come quickly, just as 50s came after 43s cleared.
TMPS
Prior to TMPS purchasing the planes, they were in "flyable storage." Since then, we are aware of maintenance work, and as I recall some ground tests with engines running. Once the appeal is dismissed, I think we will see a quick ramping up, that includes getting planes to the Newport News location.
The planes are already fitted for refueling, and have seen service as Air-to-Air refueling in the past.
Remember, it was after the bid was submitted and before the award that they moved operations to Newport News, so I think that shows a high level of confidence.
TMPS
Slow and steady-- I was looking it over last night, and that is exactly right. It seems like we are suddenly at .50, but this is a clear trend north over many weeks.
And it just gets thinner every day.
