You want to see something impressive, check out their management's staff. http://www.acaciatechnologies.com/aboutus_mgmt.htm
dhwco, There is not limit on how much calypso can make
under the acacia deal. If acacia signs up $200MM in licenses, calypso gets
50% of that or $100MM. Maybe you're not reading the Rotalty clause?
Calypso gets 50% royalty on every deal acacia does.
And yes, any licenses that come through Nokia are excluded. and yes it's in
writing. It says in the acacia deal that any arrangement between
Nokia-Siemens and Calypso is excluded. The arrangement between
Nokia-Siemens and Calypso is that Nokia-Siemens will go secure licenses for
ASNAP with their carriers...."After successful completion, the company
(Nokia-Siemens) will take Calypso's ASNAP technology to its product
marketing team and customers".
dhwco Why can't you get it
you are still missing it. In the deal, Calypso is not selling 50%
of its licensing rights to everybody but Nokia-Siemens and Helios for $500k.
First, they will get a minimum of $5MM, not the $500k you quote. Second,
you say everybody but Nokia-Siemens - go back & read the PR about the
Nokia-Siemens trial - it says that Nokia-Siemens will take ASNAP to all
their carriers. That means 80% of the world's carriers will be approached
by Nokia-Siemens to sign licenses with Calypso. So all the big carriers
like AT&T, etc will be signed up under the Nokia-Siemens arrangement, not
under the Acacia deal. Acacia will only be used to chase the smaller
players and those players who are already infringing.
In the end, all the big deals will get done under the Nokia-Siemens contract
at 100% Calypso.

Tom Meredith, chief financial officer with Motorola, admitted that Apple's move to include WiFi in the iPhone is forcing mobile operators to seriously consider selling devices with WiFi capability included. Motorola, according to Meredith, has not been able to convince service providers to allow WiFi connectivity--until now.
"Carriers didn't want to have anything to do with WiFi," Meredith said during the 14th Annual Citigroup Technology Conference. "They are now coming around to WiFi as an optional feature, recognizing the inevitability."
AT&T has always had a habit of disabling WiFi capability in devices, except of course in the iPhone. In July, Research in Motion revealed that AT&T would be the first customer of the 8820 WiFi/cellular BlackBerry device.
Meredith also said operators were previously opposed to touchscreen devices, but that the iPhone has changed that game too.

adap.tv to Insert Contextually Relevant Ads Into Online Video on the GoFish Network
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GoFish Corporation (OTCBB:GOFH - News), the leading Internet Video Network showcasing original, Made-for-Internet ('MFI') programming, today announces a strategic partnership with adap.tv, an in-video advertising network, to insert third-party ads within video clips shown on the GoFish Network.
The partnership enables GoFish to match relevant, text-based ads with its online video content using adap.tv's proprietary analytical software. The technology analyzes video content in real-time and instantaneously matches it with appropriate ads. adap.tv's in-video advertising network currently serves some of the most popular online video sites on the Web, including GoFish's Network of approximately 8 million unique users.
Last week online video site YouTube announced the introduction of semi-transparent overlay ads at the bottom of select video clips. In-stream text ads served on the GoFish Network through adap.tv's platform will be similar to YouTube's new ad feature, however, the GoFish ads will be contextually relevant through the use of adap.tv's proprietary software.
"The monetization of video content has been one of the biggest challenges posed by the advent of online video," said Tabreez Verjee, president of GoFish. "Our partnership with adap.tv assists GoFish in creating a compelling platform for advertisers in order to allow them to reach target demographics, and does so in a way that does not detract from the user experience."
"We are pleased to be partnering with GoFish, as they are the leading platform in original online video programming aggregation and distribution," said Amir Ashkenazi, CEO of adap.tv. "This is a mutually beneficial strategic partnership that combines GoFish's content and reach with adap.tv's contextual advertising solution to enhance the consumer experience while increasing ad revenue."

See man Calypso should had never release that news on their website, should have waited for the right timing. Now I'm sure that there are a bunch of short sellers that are probably calling Nokia and calling themselves shareholders of Calypso trying to extract information from the company. Turrini and company should know better next time.
They won much more than that today too eom..
Someone who was at the meeting said this.
I was at the meeting, and discussed the demo with Alesandro Valenti
and i am beginning to become more disturbed than usual with the
situation
First of all, the ASC works on a standard Linux PC running Asterisk
Secondly, the PC performing ASNAP via ASC is located at corporate
headquarters in Doral California
Thirdly, the set up at the meeting was with a network access point
hidden behind a curtan which i saw, numerous greenights were blinking
i beleive that the carrier was Cingular, that information i inferd
from the day before meeting w/ Valenti, the "simulation part" of the
demo derived from the fact that the wifi signal was steped down / up
locally from the meeting site to simulate approaching and leaving
the range of the wifi signal, this is the only way to trigger the
handoff and remain in the building
so what was simulated was the signal strength variation that would
be present in a normal walk either toward or away from a wifi hot
spot, the ASC at corporate headquarters had no idea that such a
simulation was being made at the user end and interperted the shift
in signal strength as a distance signal raito related phenomena
and in conjunction w/ the information client on the handset
detailing the signal strength information.
hence the remote ASC server behavior was proven, i wish dr Foo
would not say anymore that they didnt demonstrate ASNAP
I just found out, he was my friend.
Gillan, thanks. eom.
Scream, any idea why we up so big today? eom.
qed, i saw that article earlier and it really got my curiosity going, i'll be watching to see how the story develope.
Longs, we have the Raging bull and the SI board to post on, i do hope you all use these other boards to tell the clyw story.
Charles i'm taking some words from your deleted post yesterday and reposting it.
Unless they think that Moses is going to license ASNAP to some street corner shop. Its only common sense that in order to proposing paying dividend deals has to be major.
From the shareholder letter.
"His focus is on securing key licensing deals and major partner relationships and positioning"
NO SECRET THERE BUD.
When they see the kind of high profile people coming in to join Calypso and the big companies that wants in on ASNAP,the people that has been shorting the stock and forever speaking negatively about the company are going to think that they are trap in a time warp. Yes God has truely sent us a Moses.
CLYW will be a monster soon.

Stock Analyzer, CLYW came out with a very interesting news last night, but most people are not aware of it because it was only release on their websit.
http://www.calypsowireless.com/index.cfm?currentPage=homePage.cfm
Whoever shorting this clyw better cover now before its too late.
How about that, DIVIDENT PROPOSAL. Moses, Moses, Moses.
Major anouncements at shareholders meeting. Check it out, new on website.
http://www.calypsowireless.com/documents/content/press/2007-05-01%20Shareholders%20Meeting.pdf
Well i have been calling Turrini "Moses", pretty soon you all will understand why. MOSES.
Zfritz, the forces that wants us to sell don't know that during these times of negativities me you and other Longs has been doing some great DD, all will come to light real soon.
Kineto is also mention on the website too, but here is what Sharma has to say.
"Sharma’s ex-colleagues from his previous employer Siemens have actually asked why Calypso hasn’t “gone after Kineto on this market trial,” he said. “We are engaged to see how we can partner first, but then if we feel like our rights are violated, we will have to enforce them.”
No secret here.
Biscuit, man your post had me laughing for several minutes, you actually posted something positive about Calypso and you didn't even know it. In your haste to be negative that one blew right by you.
Here is something else that you missed.
"While we face increasing competition, we are proud to be the holders of the patent granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and to be the only player in the industry offering a truly integrated total solution for Seamless Fixed Mobile Convergence. We are committed to capitalizing on Calypso's strategic advantages, forming strategic alliances, and facilitating licensing to those companies that may be infringing on our patent."
That's true but we still wont know how many phantom shares out there floating around in space even though at some point when the stock start to move in a big way they will have to pay back that iou note.
i meant naked short shares are iou notes on shares that does not exist.
Short shares yes, not naked short shares no, kaved short shares are iou notes on share that does not exist.
p2k, how would they be able to show that when it is the SEC is the one that is protecting the GRANDFATHER'S SHARES ? That's the problem why people are upset about now.
Charles, i don't know why you're not getting it yet, you still trying to convince these short sellers to buy the stock.
THAT WILL NOT, AND WILL NOT EVER HAPPEN That is not in their nature, they are boiler room people with off shores accounts SELLING SHARES OF THE COMPANY THAT DOES NOT EXIST, AND DOING THIS WITHOUT A DIME COMING FROM THEIR POCKETS, that is what you call NAKED SHORT SELLING AND THAT IS ILLEGAL, ON ONE HAND THEY ARE TELLING YOU THAT CARLOS SCAMMED THE COMPANY AND ON THE OTHER HAND THEY ARE ENTERING THROUGH YOUR BACK YARD ROBBING YOUR HOUSE OF ALL YOUR BELONGINGS, THEY MAKE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS DOING THIS. NOW IF THE COMPANY MAKES IT BIG THEN THEY WILL HAVE TO PAY, IF THE COMPANY GOES BANKRUPT THEY WALK AWAY FREE AND CLEAR. NOW WHY DO YOU THINK THAT THEY ARE HERE LIKE FLIES ON SH-T, THEY ARE TRYING TO PROTECT THE MONEY THEY STOLE FROM ME AND YOU.
Zfritz, we haven't seen this many bashing posts in years by the OFF SHORES NAKED SELLERS.
look at all these new aliases popping up scrambling like chickens with their heads cut off.
DATELINE IS RIGHT ON MONEY, THEY MISDIAGNOSE THIS LITTLE COMPANY AND ITS TECHNOLOGY.

This is part oo a story that DateLINE DID IN 2005.
From Date Line
What are interesting are the battles that ensue when these “gurus” misdiagnose a “real” company with “real” assets as a scam. The naked short sellers will still be able to knock the market cap down by 99%, but often it becomes tough to “Kill” the company. Investors that know that the company has the goods can sit back and buy shares at a tiny fraction of book value and thereby average down their previous purchases. Since the size of the naked short position is of a cumulative nature, increasing with the age of the battle, a point is reached wherein the naked short sellers cannot afford to cover this massive naked short position without driving the share price to the moon. This is when the games get really dirty because hundreds of millions of dollars are now up for grabs, winner take all.
THE DAMAGES
One has to wonder how many young micro cap corporations with great promise have been snuffed out while in this incubator of the OTCBB and Pink Sheets. Have we missed out on any potential cures for cancer or high tech breakthroughs? What happened to the dreams of all of those entrepreneurs who put every penny they had into their private companies in preparation for going public, and then getting massacred once public?
Let me post this again from DATELINE. Remember i didn't say this, Dateline said it.

Stock Analyzer, what's CLYW chart is saying now? eom.
I think the BLUE BLASTER is Calypso's hidden gem and i'm speculating that there could be some big players that are showing interest in the technology.
No one here has any inside info and what's going on with the company other than what the CEO said in the shareholder's letter and the pr. Everything else is pure spaculations at this point, but very good speculations i might add.
Why is it that Longs caun't understand that the short sellers/bashes comes in different faces of disguises and all they want to do is really hurt the new ceo and the company .SO HERE IT IS ONE MORE TIME, PLEASE STOP THE SO CALL INSIDE INFO ON THE BOARD. YOU ARE ONLY HURTING THE COMPANY AND OURSELVES. ANYTHING THAT IS SAID ON THE BOARD IS JUST A RUMOR, RIGHT, GOT IT.
CLYW is having another hot day, got to be the hotest stock in the land during the past 2 weeks. Stock Analyzer What's your chart saying?
What you meant to say was that you just covered your short this morning.
