Sp firmed up a little today. Anticipation...……………….
New Green Frontier Cannnabis Investor Conference had our man Jeff on the panel. Worth a listen. Panel made some good points. We are getting closer everyday. glta and dyodd
A little more going on at TNY. C'mon over. Tinley is firming up a little and got lots in the pipe.
Dixie seems to be stuck around the .60c range on the CSE despite what is happening all around us. First it was US pot companies coming to Canada for public listings and now it is Canadian pot companies getting public listings on US exchanges, mostly from CSE and a few from VSE listings but the TSE still has some kind of handshake deal that is keeping marijuana companies "hands-off" with THC and marijuana or it queers the deal and they could lose their listing. This US interest in public listings is huge and suggests a strong underlying current of change for the US Feds getting on the same page as the individual States. glta and dyodd
Despite management not talking about our potential much, I've found Jeff to be honourable in his dealings. I personally think he has the shareholder's interest at heart first and foremost. He told me when I first talked with him that he won't be doing a bunch of fluffy nrs and that is true. California is a great target for a lot of reasons and nobody could have anticipated how government would mangle an already existing pharmapot system to go rec. For safety of consumers they have developed rules, laws and inspections to bring rec use for adults to the forefront, and the only good thing about the way they're doing it is that everybody has to conform, which is good, but time consuming. glty and dyodd
I'm not much of a chart person for junior hopefuls like some of you guys. They do help me to get interested when I see big spikes or falls and more-so when it is both volume and sp.
I don't mind doing a little digging when I hear something interesting and I don't even remember how I got wind of Tinley but I liked the story and saw the future that they saw.
I had to phone my online to get them to list it when it went secondary and
I put up several thousand dollars for 100k shares. I hate averaging up but got in on a fundraiser and picked up some more. I haven't sold a share because I like the team that has been assembled and feel that they can deliver. Not much longer now imo. glta and dyodd
doldrums now. waiting for some movement. probably take positive earnings reports or take over announcement. Been a lot of negligible nrs that wreaked of desperation and Posner is out layering in more companies. So much so that I have my doubts that he even cares about this one anymore. glta and dyodd
The US is moving pretty quick from an investors point of view to move this legalization process along and a lot of Canadian companies are feeling secure enough about it to start setting up shop in the States since the Farm Bill. Obviously got a sense of immunity from Fed interference. A lot of US established Medical and rec pot companies also getting CSE listings in Canada to raise funds and be publicly traded.
I am Canadian and like the way the CSE is being run and they are to marijuana and hemp what the VSE is to mining. No reason for me to buy the US listing and if I was a US citizen and wanted to get some shares, if there is a fed problem that arises, you might be better hidden by going for the CSE listing. Lots of brokers that will get you Canadian stocks. Of course there could be arbitrage from currency differences that could benefit shareholders or not. glta and dyodd
I'm guessing all the symbol changes are in anticipation of US listings. I am trying to get them to make some comment on the C.DIXI.U on the CSE in Canada. I don't know why the secrecy. All I can think of is the Fed issue. glta and dyodd
Canopy is run by a lawyer and his team as you probably know. They aren't going to do anything to blur any lines in the US market. Very capable and making all the right moves as they are in 15 countries. As far as Tinley, they have to have lots of eyes on them from inside the whole industry not to mention Big Pharma and Big Tobacco. Tinley isn't talking but they are doing imo and have done a lot in a couple of years and the fact that we are on shelves in California, legal and compliant is proof. I own Canopy too and love the stock for showing the leadership to be world class. glty and dyodd
Best kept secret as a new listing. If you don't put out an infomercial or two on BNN or other business channel it might not launch successfully. It's like we are hiding this huge step forward from the FEDs even though it looks like they are coming around. Lots of Canadian listings moving Stateside including Canopy Growth picking up assets with intention for CBD and THC I assume when it is safe to do so. glta and dyodd
We need some of those products in development on shelves in their jurisdictions to prove that we have solid deals.
Welcome aboard. I need all the help I can get here. There was a lot of interest in us in the beginning and the company is executing despite the constant re-working of the regs for everything pot in California. Our own bottling facility is targeting Q1 of 2019 and commonsense tells me that Q2 if Q1 happens on time and we get into production, will be when the sp moves because we should have some volume to report. I was told by management when I first got in that they aren't big on fluff and bs news releases and that has proven to be true. So much so that it has annoyed a lot of investors and for the ones that got in at the highs got hurt. Good news is the price is pretty good right now I think for what they have going on. glty and dyodd
Firmed up a bit after getting caught in the downdraft of marijuana stocks. Still haven't seen any kind of a promo ad or announcement that we have gone public. Has anybody seen one? glta and dyodd
Interesting that the EAT co-partnering deal initially drove the price upwards but when the deal got delayed it fell back, but partnering with La Santa didn't do much at all pricewise. The CBD could have happened with EAT in Cali but NU got wallflowered for J-Meds, the prettier girl at the ball.
I'm not sure how much that EAT association will do for us. I hope we have plan B in place to get our products onto shelves soon. glta and dyodd
More and more Canadian companies moving south. Most notable is Canopy with intentions of doing CBD in New York. My guess is that they are well aware of the concentrated marketplace that is California but won't make that move until they feel it is totally legal. Or maybe, they already have it covered with Tinley?
Movin' on up, sharepricewise. Publicly traded and not an infomercial to announce that fact. Different expectations for public investors than private companies. Trying to raise money on the quiet doesn't really work well normally. Dixie is the real deal greenrush company and I'm sure they will come around and do a promo ad or two. glta and dyodd
Anybody see any ads yet? Or tv announcements?
They just took on a couple of pr guys. My guess is this is what is missing especially now that they have a public listing. There's more and more US companies getting Canadian stock listings despite the fact that the FEDS are still clusterfuched over the legalities of what is unfolding in the States. Talk about opposing forces. Long overdue for a news release on BNN or somesuch to let investors know that we are out of the closet and publicly traded. glta and dyodd
Nice bump up today.
Monthly report due soon!
Natural progression despite the FED stance on marijuana stocks. I was getting the feeling they were trying to fly below the FED's radar in case they flex their muscle. Maybe now we can get an ad or two on some business networks to announce that the public can now grab some shares of a successful private company that has gone public. glta and dyodd
Good day today sentimentwise for the greenrush stocks and SPLIF/EAT seems to be doing well. Two days of serious uptick is great for shareholders except the shorts. Hopefully they can lock in some profits and keep the burn under control. glty and dyodd
Started firming up when I raised the bid. I didn't get any more despite the highest bid on the board. Since then it is marching on up and still no ad or response from Dixie. They are publicly traded now and that is usually the time to run a couple of ads on BNN or other stations. Public companies need to respond to their shareholders or at least acknowledge the e-mails. I hope they aren't hiding out from the FEDS waiting for legislation to catch up in the US. There are several other US based companies going public on the Canadian exchanges. glta and dyodd
SPLIF/EAT has been gaining some good ground the last couple of days.
There was news out on the EAT board which said the NU/EAT deal is still in the works.
Yesterday I placed a pretty good bid for a pretty good amount. Better bid than what was posted and naada. Rising tide or investors getting wind of it being publicly traded? I hope it is the latter!
Shareprice is catching the tide up/in.
Firming up nicely, last couple of days.
I hope you are right in regards to the launch date of edible/drinkable/ingestible other than smoke, leaf and oil. Canada really was innovative and progressive legalizing rec use for adults for marijuana products but then they went on to think the thing to death and drag their feet on the products that consumers really want. Time wise, it is government we are talking about and doing nothing is better than making mistakes. I think the biggest cautionary tangent they are dealing with is packaging and labelling so as not to entice kids. As far as beverages, we might also need kidproof bottling caps, which I think I read they are mandating in California.
Some adults will drop the ball as far as keeping these products out of their kids hands because that is human nature, to fok up! Good news is it probably won't kill anyone.
Dosing these products and educating consumers about the time delay needs to be considered for these products as well as the cbd and thc ratio and what strains do what.
I like Dixie and what they have done and are doing. They are legit and have Canada and Cali, Nevada in their sights and others too and I am glad they went public. I got a little too excited and jumped on board too soon with the across the board beatdown pot stocks are taking but have another dog that I might sell and average down.
I also have another beverage company doing business in Cali called Tinley who have some adult style thc infused beverages on shelves and a few other products along the same lines that they are working on.
There are a lot of US established companies doing medical and rec potpreneuring that aren't waiting and setting up listings in Canada, in anticipation of the Feds coming around. glta and dyodd
3-6 months out or a takeout offer. After we get our own bottling line going there shouldn't be any reason other than the consumer doesn't like our offerings which seems unlikely given that we have market tested them and done some tweaking.
All of those biggies that are pooling up to do beverages agree with what Tinley is doing and are putting their money up. Tilray and ABinbev are throwing 100 million dollars to study? or make some of their own formulations which is well over double what we are worth now. It seems that we are very inexpensive for what we have going on. Circle the wagons, cause they're coming! glta and dyodd
got slapped down good today. Red or black whether this goes or tanks. Maybe an acquisitor can make this company more responsible than it has been and save some shareholders. glta and dyodd
Dixie got hammered hard for lack of promotion. Investors don't know what they don't know and somebody has to bring their attention to the product. We were green today in a field of red on the rest of my pot stocks. I did contact Dixie about an ad or two but they are breaking bad as far as the FEDs stateside are concerned and maybe want to keep it on the qt. Farm Bill was first step towards pot legalization across the States imo but Dixie was smart enough to branch out and clearly have Canada in the crosshairs. They have secured their supply with Auxly it seems and seem to have left enough lead time to get things going for Oct 17 proposed date for edibles in Canada. glta and dyodd
shareprice getting punished hard and no response to my e-mail yet.
I e-mailed 'em in regards to an ad or two. Haven't heard back. Not good for a new publicly traded company. Doesn't seem to be any push from the marketmaker either but that is just my opinion. glta and dyodd
I'm shocked that we haven't seen a BNN ad or something to announce that Dixie is now publicly traded. Market maker was a little slow out of the chute and have more than one company that they are trying to find buyers for stocks. Dixie should be all right though, certainly better than a all of the defunct miners gone to marijuana. glta and dyodd
not aware of one. US Feds are still not up to speed and it is my understanding that there are a few companies that are getting US listings but there seem to be a good number of them getting Canadian listings until the States sorts itself out. Some Canadian companies ipo'd here and also got US listings and some got German listings. Some chose to do business in the US by relying heavily on the State legislation to protect them from Fed interference. Dixie Brands is well established in Colorado and have multi-state plans for expansion as well as Canada but several wanted a headstart for their listings in Canada, most on the CSE. thecse.com
Market maker on board 12/12/18. Hopefully can turn this around.
Me thinks they need some ads on BNN to let investors know they ipo'd! Ads first then see if they can drum up an interview.
I hope ur right!
