$1.99 is very reasonable for the Rolls Royce of Coconut water!!
Wow!! Taco,
When I hit "home" I was knocked out at what my eyes saw!! Thanks! Can't wait!
Very good, very good. Plain Limeade is my favorite behind the coconut water.
Probably waiting on the Summer sales numbers before reporting.
Back to my spreadsheet. I think 30% is a better number to use?
However 30% will decrease going forward, IMO.
They're great!
The moneys shown on the spreadsheet are totally based on the BPD order numbers and the assumptions of an average of 1.5 cases per order and $35 per case. This is absent any financial reporting from the company. It's just a cursory estimate based on BPD sales, but it's the only thing we have right now.
If anyone has better estimates they want me to try, let me know!
Jack, Thanks for the comment on the BPD spreadsheet. That's what it's for.
The percentage of sales is a variable. I've modified the right side of the sheet to include a variety of percentages. You can choose one for yourself. You can choose a "dreamer" value or a bearish value. Help your self.
Whatever, IMHO this percentage will be definitely decreasing as this next year progresses. NO BK IN SITE! No way! Exciting times here.

Please...what's a "mailing bear"?
Thanks, I'll have to do it soon! It does make a few assumptions, but they can be changed easily if needed.
20 per day is definitely an increase. With my spreadsheet assumption of 1.5 cases per order, thats 30 cases a day just at the BPD. I'll have to get off my duff and update my BPD spreadsheet & post it today or tomorrow.
Pulse Cabana beverages will be welcome year round in Taipei, the capitol city of Taiwan, the Republic of China. The weather is very mild there year round. April though November it's very muggy there!! Also keep in mind Taipei is in Northern Taiwan which means Southern Taiwan is even warmer, in fact, it's considered "tropical". Year round thirst is high throughout the whole country of Taiwan. And remember the US A freeded the country from a 60+ year occupation by Japan. They like Americans and many of their young people come to the USA to be educated!
Go PULSE!!

No question at all Jane...YES IT WILL!!!
Jane, two things!
1. Just got news about Pulse
2. Also, just got a LOL from the trailer park!
Go Pulse!!
Thanks very much Taco! I'm smiling from ear to ear!!
Thanks Jane!!
Go Pulse!!
You're absolutely correct! I was just trying to confirm that Coke was the owner and could not find it!! Then I saw your message. Sorry...I thought for sure someone here said Coke owned it! Pepsi does!
Maybe Cabana Coconut water can take over the shelf space currently occupied by those yucky Vita Coco's in the "soft-pack" containers? I never felt comfortable with those soft containers for such an easily perishable fluid. Nothing beats a solid metal can (and a very attractive and appealing one at that) for making one feel comfortable about consuming the contents! Besides that, a metal can container extends the shelf life of the contents and requires no refrigeration. These are all points that I've made in the past. I hope I'm not too repetitive. Vita Coco....ugh! yucky!
Yucky, Vita Coco
This woman should have purchased a Pulse Cabana Coconut water. It's the "Rolls Royce" of Coconut Waters and is processed impeccably. Go to this address:

Hard to manage Mega sized companies like Coca Cola sometimes become lazy and careless.
There are 560 7-11's in Singapore. Last night I said Better4U has a presence in Singapore also! Put 2 and 2 together & what do you have? Go! Go! PULSE CABANA in Singapore!!
https://www.7-eleven.com.sg
Go Pulse!!
Wow!! My number must be a few years old & out of date. 80,000
Razor, be patient I think it will be gone soon. IMO.
I've been waiting patiently here for 6 years. (lol..maybe foolishly, lol!)
Cabana certainly will be carried at those 7-11's ! Thanks Taco!
Singapore
Just discovered that Better4U has an outlet in the small but very, very wealthy nation of Singapore! Rolls Royces are a common site there.
Maybe Pulse Coconut water will show up there soon? After all it is the Rolls Royce of all Coconut waters! IMO.
Go Pulse!!

Yes this is very good news. Pulse has had plans for products in 7-11's for quite a while. Looks like it may be happening!
Thanks Taco. Does everyone know that worldwide 7-11 has over 66,500 stores? That includes thousands of stores including Mainland China.
7-11's in continental USA

You are so very right Jane. The drinks are top shelf and will be around for a long time. GO PULSE !!!!
Health awareness is spreading in China and other developing nations around the world. Believe me, since I'm older, I've observed the world for a longer period of time. One thing is constant....and that's change. Nothing stays the same. Around the world the desire for sugary drinks is changing quickly.
Just think of this: when I was born, there were 2 billion sets of human taste buds on mother earth. Today there are approximately 7.5 billion sets of human taste buds on mother earth. Today's taste bud desires are becoming health aware. Coke's market share is changing in China also. Peace!
Coke has made plenty of mistakes in the past, some of them very big mistakes, and very stupid mistakes. The big difference is that Coca Cola has big big big bucks to waste. They can expose many millions of taste buds with those big bucks, and occupy many shelves with using their big bucks.
However, just because they are big does not mean they make great decision consistently. Big companies become complacent with money and success. Right now they are not moving away fast enough from sugary drinks, the drinks that have been their big buck paychecks.... but not anymore. Those days are gone. Healthy and not overly sugary is the market key today and into the future. The Chinese people realize that and Better4U & Pulse have always realized that healthy is the very big key in today's marketplace!
The taste test decides which is best! IMHO Cabana is top shelf. It's just a matter of taste buds. My first taste of Cabana years ago decided it for me. That's what I told 41 beverage company executives in my letters to them 1.5 years ago. Taste, it's simply that and nothing more. No BS. Just agree to disagree. No problem! Vita Coco is not top shelf, IMO. If Cabana gets out there consistently and is widely spread to new taste buds, it will occupy top shelves every where even in Asia. Vita Coco will quickly move to the bottom shelf. No BS! It's a winner by far!!!
Thanks Taco! Cabana is very consistent which is quite an achievement since natural CW is very delicate and spoils easily.
Vita Coco coconut water's sources for coconuts are Brazil, Indonesia, The Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia, but not Vietnam. Vietnam has superior coconuts and is one of the reasons why Cabana C W has superior taste & quality.
Customer complaints with Vita Coco include moldy fluid, discolored & undrinkable, pieces of plastic in the fluid, broken containers, too much sweetener, (although it's supposed to be naturally sweet but apparently some customers say sometimes it 's too sweet and containers say added fruit juice sugar). Some of these problems can be traced to the use of Brazillian coconuts that are inferior to Vietnamese coconuts. Others problems can be attributed to the use of a non-sturdy container unlike Cabana's very sturdy metal can. Maybe others can be attributed to inconsistent manufacturing processees.
Yes Taco, and the $1200 is followed by "/" plus Chinese characters. $1200/ ?? 3 ? . I assume this means "per case". $39.05 per case makes sebse.
If you look at the YouTube title page of the Cabana Coconut Harvesting video posted by Taco, it definitely says: "Natural Cabana" :
Thanks Taco, your postings are the best and most informative! As far as the negative noise here, it's beginning to sound a little desperate & futile, imo.
Thanks Jane! Have a great Sunday!
Taiwan has several very positive atributes for increased Pulse Cabana sales:
1. Shipping - Taiwan is an island and a short boat ride or quick flight from Vietnam where Coconut harvesting & Cabana Coconut water processing and canning takes place. Makes for short shipping times & lower shipping costs.
2. Climate - The Taiwanese warm humid climate provides a year round market for Pulse products. Climate is tropical in Southern Taiwan & sub-tropical in Northern Taiwan. Thirsty taste buds desiring cool beverages exist year round. There are no wintery cold months or even cool months.
3. Pro-American - Taiwan has a strong historical alliance with America, including significant international trade with the US and a trend of studying abroad in the US. Taiwanese are also exposed to other varieties of English other than the standard American English. The US is a strong ally of Taiwan. The US and its WWII allies saved Taiwan from a 60 year occupation by Japan by defeating Japan. The US makes military equipment available to Taiwan.
4. Pro-American Products - In part, because of "3." above, the Taiwanese people have a positive atitude toward US products and US culture ( movies, etc).
5. Better4U - Better4U has a history of selling into Asian markets including Tiawan and has started an agressive Pulse Cabana advertising campaign there. They also have in - roads into Japan.
6. Life style fit - The Pulse Cabana products fit the life style of the Chinese. They are high quality, very tasty, and good for you (Better4U!) beverages. There is an awakaning in China toward more healthy, less sugary beverages.
7. Nearly 1.3 Billion Chinese - Taiwan is right off the coast of the tropical humid portion of the rich East coast of mainland China. Better4U has in-roads into that wealthy area of China and all of China. Shan Stratton visits China numerous times each year.
Go PULSE! IT WILL PREVAIL !!!
Taco,
Thanks for your hard work finding these pictures & video ads of our favorite drinks! I appreciate it. Pulse is moving out & up in China. Good progress!
No kidding! Yates is taking a breather. IMO he's just a figure head.
Here's what I said 2-3 weeks ago if you missed it.
Better4U takes over management tasks. Paddy was sales manager & now Better 4U takes over management of that job as well as sales costs & duties and manufacturing costs & duties for a share of profits. Not sure how much motivation Paddy has had the last couple of years anyway: no vacations and delayed salary payments.
Better 4U has a successful private food and beverage business with a large established extensive market including countries in Asia! They are associated with the Ceo of Core Health Products whose CEO is Shan Stratton. They already have the Taiwanese Pulse Cabana business & expenses since earlier this year. In addition their corporate theme is similar to Pulse's theme of health oriented food and beverages. Since they are private (maybe family owned?) I'm sure they don't take on such endeavors with much thought & not lightly. They see potential in the current Pulse products.
Bob Yates: This is a great deal for him! Unfortunately, several years back he had to switch products (do to FDA concerns?) in midstream from Pulse functional beverages to Cabana lemonades, then limeades, & finally to Coconut waters. These beverages are excellent especially the coconut waters. However, this midstream maneuver left the company financially strapped, unfortunately, with some bad loans. Since Better4U is taking on future expenses in exchange for a cut in profits, Yates is relieved from production/sales expenses. His money problems are somewhat alleviated and hopefully profits will increase with B4U now involved.
If he desires, Yates can now concentrate on his expertise which lays in the area of beverage formulations. My guess he can now concentrate on new drinks in collaboration with Better4U desires for their business. New coconut water flavors?
Yates has his origins in Canada and Better4U is a Canadian company. It has a license to conduct business in the US. Maybe they are acquaintances from the past. Maybe B4U can take over the Canadian Pulse operation and increase profits.
* Coconut Water is addictive
Just like Coke is addictive, CW can be addictive, (not in the way heroin is physically ad dictive) but habitually addictive.
What better more healthful beverage to be addicted to than CW....and Cabana CW is the best! Better4U, and Shan Stratton and his Core Health products and Kangen alkaline waters are all about promoting healthy foods and beverages.
CW also has an alkaline effect and can be used for acid reflux problems. That's only one health benefit of a good CW. Here's a list of 60 health benefits of drinking CW. Better4U and Shan Stratton are all about healthy lifestyles. Here is the list: of 60 healthful benefits:
