"Per OTC rules they have 8 business days to close transaction from date PR'd."
TStarr
8 days? Are you referring to the sale of oil assets? Not the merger right?
I wasn't thrilled about the BAYP deal either, but they appear to be moving.
Thanks
The deal obviously isn't done. I believe it's very close, but the oil assets sales etc have to be done. The ink isn't dry on Baypoint's last PR. I was encouraged to see them (BAYP) moving fast.
Look at Signifis website. (I know you have many times of course). Looks like a VERY professional business that does things right. I'm sure they don't want to start the process over with a new OTC company. It will work out soon enough, but not until UNGS completes what the said they will prior to merger close. Can you blame them?
Take a breath Hippo. If you are in too deep ease out some on a good day. (Not that it would do me any personal good for you to do so)
Look at what appears to be going on and we still appear to have a short wait. Damn UNGS for setting a specific date with no updates, but they appear to have went to great effort to make this all work. I think the patient will be rewarded, (or I wouldn't have bought more again today). They made promises they can't keep on the published timeline. Merging companies do this routinely and as FLEX stated I don't get it either.
And check out the buyer of our oil equipment too. They are busy cranking PRs, reverse split today? Attempting to upgrade exchanges very quickly etc.
We'd like to but we spent all our beer money on another 500 shares of UNGS today.
Your .0010 prediction better not come true :) Have a good weekend.

Nobody can say I didn't try to stop the carnage today. Warchest you were on my buy order faster than the MMS! :)
Hopefully I won't regret it.
"I agree, I believe the AUDIT is another piece of the puzzle as well".
I agree as it would seem to be part of a truly clean shell, and high quality merger going forward. They may have gotten a late start on the audit process due to delay in selling oil assets. We shall see. UNGS was a small company so maybe an audit isn't that long of a process. I believe they stated they are months away from attempting to up list so we are probably still good.
Thanks for the explanation Critter. That was my understanding of what was going on but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a significant piece of public info. With some expansion, a thorough and updated explanation of what we understand would make a good sticky for noobs.
Just kidding gwinis. I know you aren't short. Hoping your lower price targets are not met as the lower end would likely only be met with confirmation of bad news IMO. Going to 15s prior to real news is certainly a possibility. So is 30s for that matter as this is the OTC.
i look at it like this it is still safe to buy UNGS at these levels even if it is a scam because we still have not had that huge 1 day pump of volume to the green side……if you do not like the news on that one big green day i recommend getting out i also recommend not holding more than 5 million shares just in case"
Thanks for the reply. While I truly do not believe UNGS is a scam in any way, things can certainly happen which can prevent a successful merger from completing on time. Selling your oil assets to a company that trades at .0003 would be good example of a potential pitfall in my mind. It appears that it is happening finally, but it was a concern of mine as a long.
And a 5 mil position in a company I thought might be shady? Not a level I would be comfortable with since I have a day job and can't stare at level 2 all day.
Good luck to you.
"I believe what I find in filings and public statements~ Go UNGS~
all,imo
Flex"
I am generally very skeptical of anything OTC until I research to the best of my ability. UNGS laid out a plan in a seemingly logical manner that sounds like a VERY viable future business. They appear to be executing. Their timetable to convert from an oil company to Sylios may have been a bit optimistic, but they will be free from oil assets in a few days and it is possible a merger could finalize within a few days or weeks after that. Even large companies with nearly unlimited resources have difficulty competing mergers in a few months. I could cash out now for a small profit but I choose not to. Their published plan is as good as it gets in the OTC.
"In all honesty, this has been touted many times by several people leading others to believe it would be a quick score. Many posts to reference like the hundreds of "this is the week" or "any day now". When it isn't a quick score it gets spun a different direction of course. Just like any other board I guess. Personally I believe none of the crap that is posted."
I'm with you. Fairy new to OTC and the "tip of the week" is annoying. I'm here based on the best research I can do with the info available. Sylios never promised a 5 day get rich scheme. This forum and many other stock picking sites did that. The real longs here (since trip zeros) preached this is an all summer/fall play, or a 2014+ play. Most OTC stocks run on news/rumours with very little probability of true profits, then they crash in a week or less. I think UNGS will profit, and make a huge run THIS year, but it's caught up in the penny stock world.
Explanations of OTC mergers, shell companies etc. I thnk it would be too our advantage if the noobs knew what they where hoping for. Anybody care to take a break from the cheerleading, or UNGS bashing for that matter. Knowledeable short opinions welcomed here, even though I like to jab them :)
Will someone take the time to properly explain what you believe is going on here? I'm not naïve, I realize these boards are usually about hype and bashing, and nothing to do with a productive learning experience, We want the noob longs to not shake out on a couple tic price drop. They might be more inclined to not panic if the understood the concept of cleaning up a shell company, giving a Canadian company an economical way to enter the US stock market, spinning off no longer desirable assets, entering a new industry that should be very hot with election season and new markets fast approaching etc. I am old and a very longtime big cap guy. I could try to explain it but I'm not so sure I am experienced enough in the OTC arena to get it quite right.
Here's hoping. I really think it would be to our advantage as longs if every noob didn't have his finger on the sell button at the first sign of perceived trouble.
"If the company is no longer going to be in a certain line of business, then there is no reason to hold onto the assets."
Absolutely agree. Large companies spin off assets/divisions all the time. A small company is not going to master many different sectors, and oil was not working so well based on the previous share prices. As a micro company the only other option to raise cash is massive dilution to raise funds. They are doing this right IMO.
"The flippers MUST be doing well!
Holding here"
Potentially yes. A lot of days not so much. It's not as simple to get in and out at your chosen price as it would seem. Even a trade as small as 250K shares won't fill any time you please. Look at the volume of a trade when it hits highs and lows. A lot of days they are very small trades. You could flip 10K share 2 tick trades all day long but commissions would make it pointless.
Big cap high volume stocks are much easier to flip on small % moves. Been doing it all week in GoPro.
"Wait for the 0.0015-.0010"
Oh thank goodness you're still here gwinis. I was afraid we hurt your feelings last night. :)
UNGS best performing stock in my portfolio today. UNGS Laid a slap down on Apple, Microsoft, all my high flying BioTechs. If that's isn't a sign I don't know what is.
Now back to your cubicle. Go UNGS!!!!! :)
"This merger is virtually guaranteed at this point"
It certainly seems that a vital step will be accomplished in the next few days. I'm assuming Signifi has no interest in becoming tied up in oil well assets.
"Dude don't u get tired of sitting in that cubical getting paid $1 a post thinking of something to say lol"
Man's gotta make a living and typing is easier than assembling McDoubles. :)
Gotta admit he's inspiring me to provide some price support tomorrow.
"Folks, have you noticed that..."
I have noticed you guys are absent up big days, and definitely when UNGS was 100% lower last month.
Hmmmm
Appreciate the kind words Critter. I don't consider myself wise, but I am experienced in many wins ands losses. I should let it go, but am just amazed folks get a thrill from celebrating a 4 tick down day as some sort of ultimate failure. I'm only in a million shares and that is my limit. After you survive a few hundred trades I know my personal comfort zone so I can live to fight another battle. No reflection on the quality of UNGS going forward. Buying more tomorrow is meaningless in the end. It doesn't matter if UNGS loses 5 more ticks tomorrow. If the merger news comes we are all good, and if it is delayed further short term pain is likely. They projected the merger date and if they care about short term valuation they will release a PR this week. We'll know soon enough.
"It must be the first trade he has made money on, he reminds the board of it everyday."
That is the impression I am getting too. When we go down on average volume I'll be far more concerned. Hopefully I am never pathetic enough to find a thrill from celebrating others disappointment on a bad OTC day.
Good for you Gwinis, I've done the same on many other stocks. When I get it right, I find no pleasure wasting my time tormenting those who endure a dip I was lucky enough to miss. A certain amount of this is just luck.
"Back to charting school for you."

Your TA and two dollars and you can buy us both a Sweet Tea at McDonalds tonight. I had to pawn my guitar and postpone my kidney transplant today. We need some damn news!!!!
OK, maybe I don't really have a guitar and my kidneys seem fine. Just a little we got our butts kicked today stress relief. Not my first stock whuppin lol :)
Go UNGS!!!
I'm going fishin now, run some more charts and I'm counting on you to have this fixed by tomorrow morning. :)
"When you least expect it, expect it. Seasoned investors know this, I seen it in my last play where I bagged 2000%. Like I said before, we will be tested and besides if your playing with money you can't afford to lose you have no business in the OTC. IMO
Exactly, and if you are going to lose any sleep over 4 ticks you better back your bets down to a couple hundred bucks until you understand what volatility really is. Today was unexpected but we'll all survive unless we are stretching out a margin account. We just need some news soon and it's all good. Keep the faith. If you let yourself get shook out you won't survive on ANY exchange. Not just the OTC.
"Ok, but it was really funny!
Go UNGS!!"
Yes, I laughed and most all politicians pizz me off regardless of party. I have made more money under presidents I didn't care for. After 30+ years of this I have learned to pay attention to what sectors their policies favor, and invest accordingly. UNGS would be good example of that. I'm in the Army and haven't used weed for a VERY long time. But I would have to be absolutely blind to not recognize a VERY profitable industry emerging.
But anyway, GO SYLIOS!!!!
Fair enough. Neither of us know when an offer was truly tendered. If it was truly less than 30 days ago then I agree things may be fine. I am under the impression we are somewhat beyond 30 days. All IMO.
No politics on the forum please.
I'm certainly not in charge here. You can assume I am an Obama fan but you would be wrong. It won't go anywhere productive for discussion of UNGS. Politics never work as an off topic discussion on most any forum
"Why don't you think the offer is no longer valid?"
I had the same thought, and it eventually caused me to flip out for a profit. This is tech where things move fast. If you make a truly legitimate offer, do you give the other party months to shop your bid and try to beat it? I wouldn't think so.
I do think you could still sell for a profit from here, but multi-blllion dollar bid seems like a pipe dream at this time. A big CAP tech company would own this already if they truly needed it.
"Defibrillators in nightclub restrooms."
Over the line lol. I'm over 50 now. I'm callin BS if you make me remember my ATM PIN when I'm havin' chest pains. :)
A bit of a slow day but I am calling it progress. Opportunities to buy under 22s were very brief.
If you are lurking and waiting to pounce. The low price of day entry points are rising about a tick a day, and they are getting very brief. Not a big deal? Do the math. When this thing launches it is costing you about 5% a day when you cash out if you wait much longer All IMO.
"Who has the best idea as far as what to sell out of the kiosks, and where would you put said kiosk, full of said products?"
It's practically endless, locations with traffic after hours come to mind. Large airports and hotels for example have traffic long after their shops are mostly closed.
The kiosks appear too expensive for Cheetos, Snickers and DVDs :) Moderately priced convenience items with a high margin seems right. Sounds good to stuff one full of $500 tech products, but you aren't going to touch Amazon prices and I don't see much volume there. Sure you could fill a few spots with expensive stuff, the rest with items that will move hourly. Weed and alcohol come to mind where legal of course.
A lot of potential news in the near future. It doesn't all have to drop at once (and it likely won't). A little patience is needed here. Typical OTC BS PRs are easy to type. Mergers with profitable companies and bringing financials current take a little time to do it right. You won't get in at a good price if ou wait for everything to be finalized.
If you want quick beer money go find an ultra hyped trip zeros company with a couple billion shares O/S and no hope of profitability EVER. You might make a quicker couple day trip before it crashes. IMO Sylios BIZ plan sounds much more plausible than many NASDAQ companies I have researched.
UNGS has had solid price support for well over a month for a reason.
.....Pretty serious Buys into the close at HOD~ Traders will HOARD UNGS shares tomorrow! Buy the rumor ,imo
all,imo
Flex
I did the math and there is a pretty serious rumor at my house that I can go fly fishing in Alaska again if we can just hit .007 I won't sell much there though. Probably none actually because if we hit anything near .007 there will be no resistance until about a penny or so IMO.
Got my avg cost down to .002 finally!
Go Sylios/Signifi!!!! Cuz it just sounds better than go UNGS. :)
".0031 should be the key sticking point to break...."
Support seems rock solid so .003 is just something trivial to bide our time for now. News will solve the sub pennies in a few days IMO. Hopefully within just a few weeks we are bitching about all the guys who got in late at .007s and want to flip out at a penny. :)
"Me too, and really the MJ sellers should be buying a ton of machines WAY in advance to be ready for the MJ RUSH..."
I looked hard at the other OTC MJ stocks and all I see are scams with a billion + shares O/S and ridiculously weak plan. I was looking for competition because that is what I do after 30 years of looking at fundamentals for big cap stocks. There is no competition at this time. If Sylios gets this half right we are good.... real good. I'd say IMO but if they pull off the merger there is no IMO about it.
"Yep if they slap the ask for 22 and ride it to a penny then get off the train....cuz they don't want a nickel....or maybe more...they still make about $7800 profit on $2200 for a milly ....minus commissions of course.... If investors had tighter hands and held through some normal dips....I think it would fly.....we might need seat belts....AIMO GLTA goooo UNGS $$$$"
Agreed, but it is what it is, and pink peeps are trained to trade pinks for beer money. If the merger closes and they bring their SEC filings current, Sylios WILL fly.
Election season is coming and MJ will be a topic inmany states. I am inclined to hold this one a long time.
The noobs never want to hit the ask. They place their conservative limit orders 2 ticks under the open price lol. It's all good, we all want a good entry but don't bail 4 ticks later and we'll get this thing launched for real!!!
Shuler
Waiting for the launch is certainly less risky, and any do it with success. Here are a few reasons why it often doesn't work out as well.
-As stated already, many of us have day jobs.
-If the launch is real, and you are on it, you will still likely buy at .0030+ Sure you could still make a lot of money, but certainly not what you would compared to the opportunity to buy it sub .0020 (which seems like a full month now). If merger news is released, you could lose thousands of dollars of upside in the time it takes to go to the fridge and get a sammich :)
-Many traders will freeze and just not pull the trigger after a stock they have patiently watched suddenly doubles. Convincing themselves they will get another chance to buy low.
-I would guess most here either don't have the resources, or are not willing to risk too many thousands on a single penny. I'm among them. My position is large but I can't (or won't) just buy triple shares to make up for a very late entry. The habit of doing today what you wish you did yesterday will get you burned eventually.
Anyway, good luck. I just don't want to be caught with no UNGS position when news pops without warning.
Starting to like the MMs better. While I'm sure they have kept this from launching at times while we wait for a merger, they apparently are there to keep it from tanking too when the selling ramps up. I'm long but the avoidance of intraday carnage is probably a very good thing.
New screen name so can the preaching if you been long all day!
We've been basing for a month. We're all broke now lol. What really needs to happen is Silios needs to close a deal. Minor PRs are nice if you are looking for a daytrade. I would like to think most on the board are not looking for 2 hour pops.
I'm still a believer but a little positive reinforcement for my fairly large position would be real nice.
American League will win tonight.
Made another significant buy of 19s today. As much as I can make in any OTC play so I am very ready for some company news!
