I agree FIAT ... I'm just being conservative, to avoid being labled as a pumper. :]
As will I, matrix123. eom
It is difficult to predict with certainty (especially with XKEM), but, depending upon the order and timing of the PR's, I'm hopeful for .05.
BDB
I think a lot of people are going "to get well" because of Xechem.
BDB
I was considering this topic while working on the lawn today (that darn thing comes back every spring).
In addition to the events FIAT mentions, in May we have the 10-Q for the first quarter of 2007, which may not reflect a great increase in production or revenue (because the new dryers were not on line for much of the first quarter), but hopefully will give some good guidance for the remainder of the year.
To me, the real wild card here is the possible announcement of a pre-purchase agreement with the Nigerian Government (which Big D and Drifter have discussed). My hope is that President Obasanjo will give the go ahead (for political purposes) prior to the upcoming elections in Nigeria (assuming that they are, indeed, held in a timely manner).
The announcement of such an agreement could take XKEM's pps to a new trading level.
Have a happy, restful Easter everyone. I'm hoping that the next six weeks will be positive and exciting for Xechem.
BDB
Max, that is priceless!!!!!!!
jajajajajajajajajaj! (Sorry firestarter, I could not resist).
How true, howard. I think (i.e., hope) that I have paid my dues! :]
I mean, it's about time.
I agree, drifter. Now that I am a paid subscriber to IHUB, I will try to remember to use PM's for stuff that is really OT.
Briboy: The Easter holiday weekend is one of my favorites, but three days seems like a long time to wait until we resume trading (and hopefully get the next PR).
Guess I'll go look for some eggs.
BDB
And one month ago you predicted that "you may end up buying in .005 if you wait." (Post #97213)
Right.
A splendid idea, Ely-Lake. There is far too much happening with XKEM to dwell on personality conflicts.
Mets: Any thoughts as to what we might see next week (Pr's, pps, etc.)?
TIA
BDB
Return of the Jedi.
Then why read it?
Thanks drifter. eom
I think some of the traders were watching to see if we had an early run, and, when that didn't happen, they sold to avoid holding into the 3 day weekend. Pretty predictable.
Drifter, BigD, et al.: Am I correct in my understanding that IF a deal has been reached that has taken out the Alembic prmissory note as of the last day of March, per SEC regulations that action must be announced by Xechem no later than today?
TIA
BDB
Good work eddie . . . you were able to meet your buying goal.
Ditto. eom
Drift: I think that would be pure dynamite for XKEM. eom
eddie: You may not get as big a dip as you would like. One strategy would be to break up your buys into increments.
I won't be surprised if we get a little dip shortly after the market opens tomorrow. If so, you could buy one bunch, and then see how the market plays out over the next couple of sessions. That way, if we go up later in the day (like today), and then keep going up Monday, you will have gotten at least some of the additional shares you want.
Best of luck.
BDB
That is a very interesting chart, jkujath. Thanks.
Agreed BigD: The table is being set . . . perhaps for an Alembic PR before the open tomorrow, and then a UPS loan PR before the open on Monday?
BDB
And ETRADE also shows .035.
Yep hinch, it feels like news before the open tomorrow. eom
Interesting, mrcsn. Thank you. eom
rubco: Every woman needs a backdoorbear. :]
It's great to see that yellowdog, portlander, and many of the other posters/investors from last year's run are back for another assault on the fortress on the mountain top.
And good also to see many new folks coming aboard (it's an opportune time to be boarding this train).
The ascent is just beginning, and this time we will reach the top.
BDB
P.S. If anyone talks to Klon or Jedi (aka RocketStocks), tell them to get their butts over here!
Hello portlander . . . long time no see! eom
My biggest concern regarding the elections is that Nigeria not somehow descend into a state of civil disorder.
Beyond that remote possibility, regardless of the outcome of the elections -- which I anticipate will be that the PDP retains power -- I hope that the elections are conducted relatively peacefully and without blatant fraud.
This is a very important election for Nigeria.
BDB
I will be there, rotweiler. Good evening. eom
Ms. Chassman has graciously agreed to buy all plane tickets.
rotweiler: Bring a few bottles of that wine you are drinking tonight! :]
And I'm good for a round or two also, jkujath. Well said!
Very nice selection, rotweiler! eom
Yes I am, muddysmojo. As I told my wife this morning, I was born under a bad sign, so I believe I'll dust my blues.
That's where my handle comes from: Every woman needs a backdoor man (or, in my case, bear).
BDB
Isn't the market closed Friday? If so, that may affect the timing of some of the PR's.
Being banned from RB is like being thrown out of the Book of the Month Club. Not a significant loss. :]
