I think everything with Zion if just fine here at this time in the big picture. While it has been a long time (longer for some) I think everything is proceeding in a good way for Zion. There are things happening close by in Israel that have not happened since the conflict in 2014, and while it is true that there has always been tension in the region, it is obvious that today there is more than just tension on a scale that is not normal. Perhaps a different time than today would be more appropriate.

I think we will get news so that we can all exercise the Rights, and in order for that to happen, Zion Oil and Gas news needs to be released very very soon - unless as tisdal has correctly pointed out there could be an extention for the Rights. But I do no think Zion would do that. Therefore, everything is set up for the BIG NEWS to come out in the next several days or so. And I am confident that it will. No problem. I have a lot riding on that fact that news comes out and it works out this way. A lot. What helps me to feel at peace about all this isn't a naive blind approach. But rather it is leaning not on my own understanding, and being still and knowing, that what has been begun here will not go uncompleted, and that nothing in the world can stop that.

Zion is not being "ordered" to do anything, and could release whatever they want whenever they want. That would not be in the best interests of us the shareholders. True, but I go back to my gut feeling and think they could announce SOMETHING to move it forward. I agree with you 100% the size of the find will NOT be minimized nor should it be. Tomorrow is a day of mourning (now in more ways than one) for those who "mourn" the creation of Israel. I can see it as a day that could be a day that the BIG ZION NEWS could be put out. I too think the announcement will be made by Israel first - and then Zion. Again that is a decision that I'm convinced is being made by Israeli authorities and not Zion at this point. Israel may take a more humble and measured approach. After watching the events unfold today including the speeches and ceremony, I think I now know better why I was inclined to say Tuesday when looking at a possible Zion news day. We've been looking at this from our eager and anticipating vantage point, but we should remember that Zion is NOT who is making the decision about when the BIG NEWS will come out - it is ISRAEL! If it were up to Zion, I have a feeling they would agree with us and put it out today as a nicely wrapped gift to Israel on her birthday - but it isn't. I know this may be a hard pill to swallow, but it will be quickly over. I wonder if perhaps Israel might be taking an approach that would "soften" the impact that Zion's contribution will make. It could be that they might feel that announcing what amounts to their energy independence on the same day that the embassy is moved would be gloating to their neighbors in the region. I could see them in an effort to keep things calmer, and perhaps be able to make yet another major statement to the world, put off releasing the BIG NEWS a bit. Zion is a BIG deal too.

brothersinc I've been thinking about what you said about maybe going with 50% oversubscribing and "locking in " the other 50%. And I think if the price is where it is now on Monday morning I may do just that just to make sure I get the shares working for me. As you said it's a tough call.

This event with Zion reminds me of my very first experience with stock 20 something years ago when I felt "led" to buy into to a certain stock. (by led I mean like a magnet being pulled by another magnet and the power getting stronger and stronger every step I took) I was so green and immature and I didn't know anything about stocks. The man at the brokerage asked me and practically accused me of insider trading - I guess because I was so passionate. The stock went up around 60% in 2 months, and I got out, and many years later felt led to get into stocks as a trader.

Zion is a culmination of many many events leading up to this. But now that we are here, I truly believe Zion was the reason for my first experience with stocks back then. Because of his childhood, my dad understandably was against stocks, and taught me to be against them. But my other Father taught me otherwise. Zion is not just another stock ticker.

Yes it's a tough call, and one that I thought about and prayed over for a long time. The over subscribing part was the most difficult because if you get them - great - but if you don't - then it's like burying your money in the ground for a couple of months while the stock price soars. We are going to be blessed and Israel is going to be blessed. Zion is preparing to go to the next level, and we are there with them and a part of it all.

I asked myself what is the attitude and personality God wants me to have after this blessing with Zion happens in the very very near future. ?? Who one is before acquiring great wealth is usually amplified after they do. The same will probably hold true with Zion investors. I want to be a good steward. Retirement money does not "run out" - it is either managed well or it isn't. That's why we are here and heavily invested with ZN.
