"The law prohibits bribery by US companies to win business in foreign countries." What do they mean by "win". I thought you win business awards based on awarded contracts, agreements etc. Interesting they announced this after the merger. Maybe this is the reason why so many of these merger rumors regarding ERHE are on hold until the DOJ gives them a clean bill of health.
I am hoping this is the quiet before the storm. It is setting up for a dip into the teens. These buying "ops" are getting real tiresome. All these feel good prognastications are sounding like the band playing while the Titanic is tanking.
Is there anything else they have on ERHE? If this is what the big fuss is about, it doesn't look like the DOJ has anywhere to go.
The bands and our collective wallets is whats being pinched.
Gee great point. Now I guess you also must dismiss all the bullsh*t pr's that were released, the outright lies to the shareholders that called the company. Noo, nothing cheesy going on with good ole pebbles. PA is just a standup guy!!
LMAO!! C'mon wait till it bleeds down to that doppey diamond stock, then, only maybe then would it be a good point to get into this magnificant scam.
A new company at 6 bucks a share it gets us of the bulletan board and onto a different exchange. Manipulation would be far more difficult at that point. MM's would have a hard time filling gaps if and a thats a big if, if CVX was somehow involved in this type of scenario.
Congrats to all who added cheap shares. Wish I had some extra, but I spent all mine at about .40. This "sell off" was panic induced, IMO. ERHE is not the operator, and we are at the mercy of Sinopec and Addax for the time being. Last time I checked nobody has moved the oil.
Certainly would hope one of Oily's prognostications would come true. Not much to hold on to. Ledbetter might pull a rabbit of his hat. Who knows? I still think this situation is very fluid.
I think most folks would be selling at a loss at this point. This stock always seems to go down on good news, at this juncture, nothing would surprise me.
With BB and Oily stirring the pot, it does get exciting. The only thing we are missing is real news. Just a mimor detail. Very long and very weary.
Great stuff, thanks for sharing that.
It was wild and wooly for a little bit. One tree down. The only other "damage+ is that we have a cable outage. If they don't get it fixed before the Pat-Colts this afternoon, well then it would be a disaster! LOL
Yeah, but its a start. Maybe the "eco-wackos" should start working with the energy companies on how they can extract oil without unnecesarilly destroying the environment. IMHO
No reason this puppy can't climb back into the .10's soon. Need to reload.
On CNBC; $100 BB by end of year. MF oil predicts that because of scarcity and middle east, price should print $100 by end of year or close to it.
No need to go out on a limb! LOL
yeah, someone was dumping. LOL
...or really, really good news! LOL
We are so quick to dismiss CVX's statement that they don't know if the oil in block 1 is not commercially feasable after there initial reports that it was world class. Barry Morgan reporting that the oil in block 1 is spilling into blocks 2 & 4.; that CVX was courting SEO personnally. Interesting same guy at CVS is now the new guy at ADDAX. Addax pres. intitally says block 4 may have a few billion barrells. Now they say there not so sure. Deleberate lowballing(?), and if so, for what reason.
Interesting that no financials are disclosed, guess they got them for free. Anybody's guess on the what share count is now?
Didn't the consortium pay something like 126 mil for the drilling rights in block 1? That would make XOM's particition fee about 49 mil. This makes XOM a better than 50% profit on their intitial investment plus 2% profit on the oil. It's not like their leaving empty handed. And I guess its okay not to believe Chevron's claim about what they found in block 1 and to take on face value what Addax has to say about their seismacs.
All right all ready with Andromeda. Now if all the cosmic dice in the universe can get this stock moving north. LOL
Hunter, what are your serious concerns? Haven't seen much of your posts since the cc and the latest pr's from the company.
Your right. If they follow a schedule they should be showing up about 10:30. That .015 gap will fill for sure.
I think there would be some kind of announcement. BOFA is off the ask for what it's worth.
Has trading resumed with EEL. Market in London has been opened for awhile now.
They might have made a mistake about the 18 billion barrells and refering to the JDZ at large. But I do remember reading somewhere that Gandeur saying that he believes block 4 will yield 4 billion in recoverable crude. That is itself is not to shabby.
I might be wrong but it looks like Bofa is accommodating a large buyer then seller. Last 100k looked like buys and the ask didn't budge. All IMO
Bofa is back almost at the time. No pattern here whatsoever. lol
Okay, but just for the record, please explain yourself regarding distancing himself from the company. Maybe in plain english and in a complete unambiguous sentence
In the context that he was not going to divest himself of his holdings, it looked to me that he was going to be adding to his position. ie buying more. If it was something else than the article was ambiguous at best. IMO
I can't help but agree with you, I'm not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling that he his increasing his holdings. All the rumors have indicated that he would need to divest himself, if, if a buy/in was in the works. As far as a deal being imminent, the volume does not indicate that at all.
He's no longer chairman, but remains obviously in charge. Dispite all the rumors of him distancing himself from the company, he seems to be heading in the opposite direction. Obviously not concerned, IMO, with DOJor the SEC.
I thought it was over $3.00 for a period of time.
My guess is the deal is done. Just there to dot the i's cross the t type of stuff. The line about NASDAQ could have very easily left out. It was not gratuitous, IMO. Boy, for a company that was so tight lipped in the past, you cant them now to STFU,
Does this mean that they stopped investigating him or that he just answered the subpeona?
6.6 BILLION DOLLARS !!!! Wow, I must have missed that in the Wall Street Journal, or was it on CNBC. Seems like news outlets publish big deals like this. Any local papers pick it up?
Maube he right question would have been " seeing that ERHC has a very enviable position in the JDZ, would the company entertain any offers of a buy/in or buy/out. Maybe Barry Morgan was correct when he wrote that Chevron was courting Emeka Offer personally.
OT; From what I understand anything caught between PEI and New Jersey are all considered Maine Lobsters. Het, but like Alton Brown says, "its all good eats".
