Well, IMO all 4,976,900 shares were NOT all short. I don't remember seeing any evidence of that. I was simply stating an opinion of mine and was also stating what a friend believes,he only shorts stocks. I like to pick winners, not bet on failures. The point I guess is to remember that if the PPS of any stock does not go down shorts do not make money. How many on this MB have complained about the stagnant price of PPHM over the last several months? We will see if "they" moved on to greener pastures or PPHM has news to give. gl PR
Less 5+ million short shares was a welcome sight. However, notice NO "short squeeze". PPS at 12:50 p.m. Fri. is FLAT $1.37. Great to get rid of shorts but honestly "they" will also not stick around for flatline stocks beyond a general time frame. Unfortunately their departure could be either or,good news ahead or nothing up for the near term. They do not make money when the price does not move. IMO, but my best friend in investing only shorts and it is his opinion also(no, I don't short stocks). We have potential for great news so we wait for the next conference up. Play ball. carpe diem PR
IMO...Then why do posters, both sides, write as though their statements are facts? The science is difficlt enough with even PPHM discovering best methods recently to proceed on to potentially great results. But posting "He said" and a rebuttal "No,he did not" becomes confusing to me and I believe others.Again relating to my one real complaint... about IR and lack of PRs. If it can be said at ASM it can be posted by management. C'est la vie, I guess. MB madness at its finest,IMO> carpe diem PR
Although I personally appreciate posters who were at the ASM reporting what was said at ASM, I hope this is not turning into the proverbial 10 people in line and the first one whispers to the second one "The sky is blue." By the time 9th person whispers to the 10th it comes out as "Henry Kissinger was in a blue movie with a porn star named Sky." lol Another example,IMO, why it is important to state by PPHM execs what IS going on. All deference to those who reported back to us. carpe diem PR
Reminds me of the phrase "Failure is not an option."
This is my first listen to PPHM ASM(bought in Mar.'13); was that typical of their ASM presentation? I am serious in asking. TIA PR
So PPHM puts out that webcast and only tells "juicy" info AFTER they hung up on us? Get real.
The one real problem I have with PPHM is their PR situation. Some like to post about going unnoticed or would we(shareholders) expect to hear about ALREADY attended and presented conferences ASAP. Yes, I want to hear in a PR because once they present it is in the public domain, this is NOT presenting under the "Cone of Silence". PRs are vastly important IMO for small bios especially. I am asking for just PRs about already attended situations. Possibly a PR,not just PPHM website, about attending and then afterwards how it went and what was presented.PPHM would be surprised at the perception change with just some PR on newswires. All IMO but also 45 years of investing. GL today and may the NEWS FLOW. PR
Alas, the pre-market volume unveils its lonely self to us. Where for art thou pre-market volume? Yeah yeah, I know. No news,no trades. I won't even bother with the 'someday' scenario. carpe diem(even in this gloomy Ma. weather). PR
Krakanos, I am NOT worried about 3800 shares of PPHM but if this PR situation existed in my XXthousands of JNJ or similar I would be concerned. I know all about travel and jet lag and I don't believe they are there to party down with naked women dressed as koala bears...lol. We don't know when they arrived or what their accomendations are and I know it's hard work mentally but some of us worked hard physically for 50 years and more so they get no pass from me on that. PPHM present data that counts and makes a splash or at least release some PR after the fact so we know how it went. Appreciate your enthusiasm and all is well. PR
And of course I realize that ASM is BEFORE Sydney. MY bad.Can I use the flu as a stupidity card?
I'm still waiting to hear about the(my words but I believe likened by some on here) "ASCO of Europe" conference. Small bios need to get the word out and it is all fine and swell to drum up interest abroad, etc. but this IR needs to do some real work.IMO, this is why posters write what they do about excessive pay/options for BOD, mgmt. in general and even retention bonuses for lower level employees. Dropping tens of thousands on trips around the world without PRs makes PPHM look like they're using conferences as almost vacation time. How many PPHM people went to Amsterdam? $50,000 for a ballroom in Sydney? And a 7:00 a.m. time slot,IMO, is NOT prime time. I only dipped my toes in the water with PPHM(3800 shares) actually hoping to buy more but at $1.40 price per share purchase I'm even(March 2013).Science better shine in Sydney or I feel it might NOT be a happy ASM. Good luck to all. Life is short so grab a cup. carpe diem PR
I thought our FY ended on April 30th. I could be wrong. PR
Maybe I'll ask the same questions as a previous poster and wait for the answers to match. With all the stuff being tossed around here I am allowed to call. I respect all posters right to their voices , mine included. If I call and get to speak with someone I'd be happy to post what was said. My point was please don't ask SH not to bother with calls or even e-mails because all we need to know(IMO) has been posted by someone we should trust(again writing IMO how I feel the argument is being made). I'm not asking for anyone to be replaced, nor am I calling for wholesale change of BOD or any of the other arguments du jour. I hope all have a healthy, safe day. PR
My two cents regarding IR and if posters of this board should,or should not, call IR. With all the conspiracy theories being bandied about how certain posters have an agenda against PPHM and that people should not believe certain posters may,or may not, have attended conf.,etc. we are now supposed to believe that certain posters have called and spoken to whomever(I am not saying they have not) and that we should accept those conversations as true and honest. I'm sure they did call and speak to the respective parties but maybe some of us would like to hear for ourselves. Is that wrong? I don't think you can have both ways that believe the positive posters and bash others who may not hold as much esteem here. I like to hear and read things for myself and I don't think that puts me as a bad guy. If IR doesn't answer investor questions then what do they do? With all due respect to all posters, I remain allowably skeptical until satisfied. carpe diem PR
Sorry. My last post was not supposed to be sent until edited. I know they have it on PPHM website. Long day ending with bad news. We'll all find out soon enough. Take care. PR
But the website you acknowledge is NOT PPHM's. I'm sorry but it really is standard fare for most companies. I for one would NOT consider a PR saying they are attending a MAJOR European conference as fluff or money wasting...IMO. That's all I'm trying to say. Did they PR conferences held in U.S.? Have a good one. PR
If we already know they have a booth then PR they are attending. Most bios do that to let all interested parties know they are attending. I don't think anyone,at least not me, is asking for private info just that they ARE attending. It's not that hard. Don't any of you own other stocks? That's what they do when they don't or can't release other info...IMHO!!! I don't believe they're at a booth with a fake big nose and glasses disguise, a la Groucho glasses. PR
Think of it. A job that would REQUIRE you NOT to do your job. Mind-boggling numbers would line up for that sucker! LOL PR
So in my own small attempt to"change what I cannot control" I wrote IR asking if they had a booth at ECC and would there be a presentation and would there be a PR if any of it was true. I hold little hope of response. If I get a response I will pass it on. I am also sadly in the camp of IR not quite living up to their job description,it is after all what they get paid to do...IMO.
Do we all have to die or can we choose not to die? I know the "we" refers to PPHM. LOL I agree that NO BP is going to stop trials and R&D because PPHM has bavi. IMO they all just plow ahead looking for others to fail or move on to anot her disease/illness,etc. A 600 patient Phase III(regardless of look-in) IMO is going to take time,120 sites inclusive. I believe EBS that we may want to step back from the ledge a little and just enjoy the view, maybe. We cannot change what we cannot control. Your post sounded a bit "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!" One of my favorite movies. Life is short so grab a cup. carpe diem PR
Unfortunately as is the case all too often , from your 7:17 a.m. post the bid on Scottrade at 8:12 a.m. is bid $1.32 @ 1600...ask is $1.41 @ 100.( 0 vol.) Not to worry I would think. It will happen when it happens. carpe diem PR
IMO, to unlock PPHM...follow the soup. Thanks to IFU for that rapier dig. I thought it was funny. IMO with a chuckle.
IMO, maybe if you arrange the letters in the soup they might give you insight into 'the Family'(which of course was a novel by Mario Puzo, not bad) and where they've stashed that 50% ownership of PPHM shares. lol On this MB everybody gets to play on another lifeless day. All IMO. carpe diem
hey, I was cut-off and message sent prematurely. To finish...this is PPHM, I see no way for them to confirm/deny an abstract. IMO. You guys should get out and play if your weather is nice. Life is way too short and that is NOT just an opinion. carpe diem PR
Just my humble opinion but if you could not find any mentionof an abstract and some companies don't have to have release until 9/27/13
This ammended complaint is exactly why I wish some posters would tone down their lists of 'good things going forward'(lawsuit dismissed) as if it were a done deal. When lawyers are involved NOTHING is ever a done deal...IMHO. So we just wait and see. PR
cheynew(I believe) has always been gracious enough to share lawsuits updates and will hopefully continue in that endeavor.Apologies if I have misrepresented poster of news. PR
I hope you do have a great Saturday. Personally, I think ANY day breathing fresh air is a great day! LOL PR carpe diem
Sat. 9/14-still able to view on Yahoo! GL
Respectfully disagree. Sadly from experience. And in your later post you stated "well, when hope and prayers cure cancer...". Extending lives and curing are two completely different animals as I am sure you know. I personally have seen the power of hope...GL
That video was posted on May 29,2013. It had 26 hits total until this morning when brought to this board's attention. I do NOT see how PPHM could approve of that video with a WRONG ticker symbol. Can you? PennyStockCrowd.com(?) is selling their junk...you have to subscribe to access anything on there. I know because I tried several times this a.m. I am going to e-mail PPHM and ask if they are aware of that video. Will let you know what I hear.
I accounted for 4 of them this a.m. to access their web info. lol
Sadly, with only 50+ views since May 29th there may be nobody home. I'll give it a shot though.
Compensation Committee- Carlton Johnson,Jr. David Pohl, Eric Swarz
And do we know who is on the Compensation Committee? LOL
Good morning to you also. AGENDA? Did you see the previous post where it showed 2009-2013? Did you read my post from yesterday where I staed that compensation actually rose AND fell obver 5 years. I posted facts. I don't know about you but I'm allowed to think $1M plus per year for now is fine. You know, sometimes you appear to me to be a little agenda-bound yourself.Nobody is allowed to post facts? Whatever, I own shares,I vote and it's IMO if you read my post. Have a nice day.
Key executive compensation up 18.93% from 2012. Steven King compensation for 2013-$1,144,645. That's a lot of compensation. In 2011 key executive compensation was $1,612,549. In 2013 that compensation was $4,409,039, In 2 years that's $3,264,394 INCREASE. Work has been done-YES. They need more to keep working towards their goal? IMO-NO. carpe diem

A publicly-traded company is only required to disclose information concerning the amount and type of compensation paid to its CEO, CFO, and the three other most highly compensated executive officers in a given year. Information about compensation for these individuals may be unavailable in prior years if they were not in their current roles or did not qualify as among the most highly compensated officers at the time. We value your feedback. Let us know what you think.
Good morning all. Since proxy has been in vogue on this board I decided to check out compensation for PPHM top 5 executives' pay, I believe the top 5 are all that are required to view legally by SEC. Anyway, I went to Morningstar and looked up PPHM and found(alleged,I can't substantiate) compensation packages for the last 5 years for PPHM execs. I tried to cut/paste but I inadvertently forgot to turn off scheduled scan and it's blocking me for now. You can Google (Morningstar compensation for PPHM executives) and it will get you directly by link. Interesting as compensation has risen AND fallen over 5 years. Just some breakfast DD. carpe diem PR
