I hope we don't get anywhere near that level....
Through the ridiculousness of last week I agreed with this, I in fact swallowed that nervous lump in my throat, held fast, trusted my DD and actually bought some more, and by Friday afternoon's close I was confident in that decision.
The lukewarm letter afterward, and this mornings unsurprising reaction, has however left me much less confident.
That letter, especially after reading, re-reading and digesting, has raised more questions than it answered (did it answer any, really?).
I am most displeased with the still fuzzy 'approved for sale in FL' semantics. What was clearly an orchestrated takedown last week has unfortunately unearthed some actual issues, and this mornings action and price clearly reflects that.
I feel really let down by that letter and its complete lack of any real substance.
Disgusted. Simply digusted.
One question answered, another opened up..
The original 'approved for sale in Florida' statement has clearly been re-phrased in this letter - good that he addressed it, but the clarification is not insignificant, read that part carefully.
I am pleased we received this letter, and promptly so, it shows that we shareholders are, indeed, of concern to Ron. It also reads, regretfully, that while a sales contract may be on the horizon, nothing is at this point 'imminent'.
I think the climb back to $3 will be a bit slower this go-round.
Agreed.
While it's ridiculous that this crap has to be dealt with at all, unfortunate or not it needs to be addressed directly by IR/Management, investors deserve some reassurance.
Counting his money and laughing, that's where....
Again, where's dshade? Unsurprisingly MIA.
If you're adding, you're crazy. Simple as that.
Then why are we crashing this morning...
dshade? so what's your take on this? Not looking good. Ugh...
More than likely it's just a simple run-of-the-mill holiday sale, which is great, and certainly not any different from pretty much every retailer in America right now - holiday/end-of-year sales are expected.
Now, that said, look at it from another angle... this is fluid we're talking about, fluid is heavy, and heavy equals costlier shipping... so, playing devil's advocate, this 'sale' could be interpreted as 'even if we have to eat the shipping costs, we've gotta get rid of this stuff'.
Even if only a sale, and nothing more, it still eats into our already diminutive revenues - always the gamble with a sale, will volume make up for reduction in profit margin.
In the interest of due diligence it's gotta be looked at both ways potentially until we get news that leads us to more definitive conclusion. Overthinking? Perhaps, but we're talking the OTC here and caution is always prudent.
I'm going to cautiously and optimistically assume it's simply a holiday promotion (though fuel additive doesn't scream 'gift' to me).
On the bright side, I continue to be extremely pleased that our pps is holding nicely and trading has been pretty consistent, can't be too upset with that :)
Now if we can just get some news!
I do indeed, quite a bit.
While I haven't sold yet, (certainly should have, long ago) - truth is, currently I'm down with my position a staggering 96.1%. Believe me, unlike Rob, I do have a significant vested interest here, real hard-earned money I'd hoped to see grow and during which be part of what once looked like a company looking to do some real good, help people. I invested based on belief in products, or promises of products rather, and admittedly I got caught up in things like 'government contacts' and names like 'Boeing'. Embarrassingly, in hindsight, my not taking the time to really scrutinize was my mistake - I just should have dug deeper. It's not enough to hear the sizzle, you gotta get the steak. My gut told me that, more than once, and foolishly, I ignored that. I'm paying for that failure now - paying dearly.
I blame myself more than anyone. I was never here to play the flip game (or any game for that matter). Rob is here to do JUST that, though, play games, and ironically, accuse others. I believe it's to divert attention (or maybe actually FOR attention, hard to be sure, he does seem really, really lonely. Seriously, all kidding aside, there's some real issues there, but I digress.)
Look, the conversation shouldn't be about people on this board, trolls will be trolls. We should be talking about PositiveID - this 'company' has nothing - no capital (always deeply in debt, the company that is, not it's board, they're fine - they're doing GREAT), no product (only questionable prototypes or mockups, and I'm being generous using those words - smoke and mirrors might be more accurate), no sales (well, no product sales anyway, they're very good at selling stock shares). What PositiveID is, is a group of very, very smart crooks with the knowledge and expertise to get away with existing (and profiting) by skillfully working the system, that's all. Cleverly fleecing investors while keeping themselves safe in the gobbledygook of the legalese and red tape.
Simply - all hat, no cowboy. The bravery of being out of range.
Desperately, and pathetically, so.
Noticing the same here. Odd.
I've decided today's the day I've gotta finally just accept the reality of this thing and move on, sell for my 99.97% loss and at least benefit from the tax loss for 2014 (is that really a 'benefit'? Ugh).
But yeah, my TD account, too, EWSI is showing invalid symbol and won't allow me to place a sell order, all other stocks are working/showing normally, wonder what's up.
Bipolar much? That was rhetorical, by the way, no need to answer. We wouldn't know which one of you would be answering anyway... Wait... I thought we were on ignore. Odd.
Sure you did.
He was clearly being facetious...
Reason? Yeah.... reality.
RELAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We get it, jeesh.
Oh good, another $4M in high interest convertible dilutive toxic financing.
Happy Thanksgiving PSID crooks, enjoy your lavish feasts, don't mind us.... Disgusting.
If all you knuckleheads would take a minute to actually read what he's been posting you may actually realize there's some valuable information being offered up. Or, you can just keep throwing your money down the toilet.
Seems the best investment out there may be in rose-colored glasses, they've become quite the fashion staple here...
It's hardly a select group (insert rolling eyes here)....
Rick's Cabaret, that's my favorite - AWESOME company we're in here. I mean, nothing says 'we're the global answer to disease detection' quite like pitching it alongside a third rate strip club chain... wait, on second thought, maybe that's our market! lol!
Just another clever move to keep things 'appearing' legit.
My guess is everyone on this list received a "We are honored to have..." blurb.
Another day, another 'presentation', and it'll amount to the same as always - nothing, zero, nada, zilch.

PSID slogan (in an honest world) "give us your money - it's the only way we pay our country club dues"
Knock em dead buddy, glad someone is going beyond these boards and ringing phones and banging on doors. These crooks have left many, many honest people high, dry and wallets emptied while they arrogantly live lives of luxury.
This is going to get really ugly, mark my words.
Thanks for being on the right side of the wrong, liv. I appreciate it, even if no one else does.
For the sake of those actually invested and interested in the facts, myself included, PLEASE do! That would be GREAT!
Now, fellow free-thinking adults with feet firmly planted in reality, shall we continue our grown-up discussion peacefully without the puerile interruptions... ahhh, that's so much better!
Interesting indeed! Hang in there, liv, the folks you're helping far outweigh the few that don't appreciate your efforts. In the end, lessons will be learned. If those lessons turn out to be more painful than need be for those too one-sided to see what you're working hard to provide, so be it, only so much you can do. And they say you're the 'sick' one. Shame.
Because that's the way the spin goes, my friend, daily rehashing of the same rhetoric.... tiring, isn't it. It's certainly nice to see some slight upward motion, ALL anticipation/speculation, but nice nonetheless. We just need some contract news, or at least some strong sales report figures, you know, ACTUAL good old fashioned business. Admittedly, what I've been able to find leads me to believe we've got a pretty strong chance of success, there's enough evidence to that, and I've maintained a sizable position here accordingly. What I'm not wholly convinced of, yet anyway, is that this is necessarily the be-all, end-all global energy savior that some here would love us to believe. Heck, it could all be hype, it happens. But realistically, there's a lot of competition out there, and liquid fuel is a fiercely political arena, we'll be lucky to even have a shot at the big leagues, let alone lead/win it. Not my opinion, just the tough reality of it all. There are almost certainly better colas out there than Coke and Pepsi, but those are Titans, and a competitor is lucky if they can grab even a small fraction of a percent of multi- billion dollar market share. I know energy/fuel is a much more significant product than a soft drink, but the challenge of breaking into a similar (much, much bigger, actually) Goliath controlled market is not altogether different. It's that monumental challenge that gives me what patience I do have left, I understand that this isn't a simple widget or gadget. This is about as big, and challenging as business gets. The long rumored partnership that's supposed to be announced 'soon', that, along with the aforementioned sales/contract, that's what we need to see materialize. It's not about impatience, it's about getting it done.
You should really open your eyes
Sorry to hear that.
That would certainly be welcomed, we shall see.
Let me rephrase, 'momentarily steadfast'.
No intended as an insult, just a retort to a not-so-thinly jab from you
If only you were as insightful as you think you are. I've not sold a share, not a single one. Nada. Still waiting. And waiting.. And waiting.... And......
God forbid someone posts an observation. Oh, wait, should I just post 'adding', 'silly shorty' everyday? Pffft....
Ask is steadfast, agreed. But without buyers, doesn't matter. It can be looked at both ways - neither is wrong. Half full / half empty, either way it's still a a half a glass - someone needs to get it filled up, waters smelling stagnant.
L2 showing basically no demand.
"PositiveID Corporation to Present at the SeeThruEquity Microcap Investor Conference November 12, 2014"
Oh, I see through it alright.... (insert rolling eyes here).
That's your plan now? Scare tactics? Cmon Mike, enough, really. You know there are actually folks here interested and invested in reality, not sensationalism and rhetoric.
