Why??? Take a look at the 5 year history. You are doomed investing in this unless you buy and sell daily. This is as risky a stock you will ever find.
My only "back in action" is making sure people in here know what that are getting themselves into. This is the most unstable and volatile stock out there and unless you like gambling, I wouldnt get involved in PEIX. Everyone has been warned....
Negative. You must be a newbie buying into the hoopla. Been watching this for 6 years and its a dud.
I wouldnt bet on it. The broader energy index is DOWN today. Umless you want to get stuck in PEIX's bag holders web....
Have all of you thought you could have recuperated your losses investing in other stocks this whole time rather than just letting your PEIX shares sit idles for months and months and probably years to come??
Tempers are starting to flare in here and I certainly dont blame anyone. This stock has been dragging itself in the mud far too long now. How long can the longs hang on???
Hi all. Just checking in to see what is happening with this "laughing stock". They will be delisted and swept under the radar which will take away all exposure of this company from every day investors. I am seeing an reverse split on the horizon. Maybe Bullmarket can "Break it down for all readers...". Unbelievable.
Perhaps I bought in earlier. Shorting isnt the only way to trade no? I am the last person on this board that needs advice from anyone. I can guarantee you that
How would you know if I have a position or not???
This is your chance to get out and break even if not make a little profit. I wouldnt make the same mistake a third time getting greedy thinking this is going to the moon again ;)
Actually I have never shorted this stock although everyone assumes I do. My day is going great. You picked a good entry point timing wise.
Looks like the next pump and dump in action.....
I actually cannot find one good reason to buy PEIX after watching the reactions from every scenerio this year.
The only run up I see is investors fleeing this stock. Just horrendous management decisions....
Welcome to Hotel California. Such lovely place, such a lovely face....
Coweboy has left smartly. Your gut feeling about PEIX earning last quarter was right and probably will be right again this quarter. Thing about PEIX, they dont bring new investors when they do well anyway...
I would get out of this as soon as you can.
Looks like your lucky day huh?
Here comes the 36's and falling.....
The plan did not detail how Romney would support the ethanol mandate. He is Big Oil inside and out. The coal industry will be the biggest commodites winner under Romney.
I believe folks that have PEIX stocks for long holds would rather go down with the ship than sell. Their loyalty is cult like
You cant fool me. You are looking for a lower entry level. I would get out of this stock because the whole industry will not have the same support after the election.
Romney wil probably win and that means goodbye ethanol and hello homeland drilling for oil. Romney is pro Big Oil/Gas
The longs have been brainwashed with Neil's propaganda. They still want to add to their position after already going all in.
I understand that. I am just really disappointed how this management has handle their PR with investors. There are many bag holders in here due to this fact. They have managed to fill investors minds with the "glory days ahead" for PEIX when in fact they are just fodder for managements gain. Neil is a typical CEO. Their only job to make millions is to say anything to get people to buy their product and act as a cheerleader. Be wary my friends....be wary.....
I sold Monday and yesterday. Made a small profit but will not hold this stock like this again. Will only play the "hype" run ups.
I have been following this since 2006 looonnngg before you even knew about it. No lecture needed here from a young turk.
My advice regarding this latest news of paying off a 10 million debt is to remain wary. PEIX has a history of making headway at the expense of the investor and it has gone on a long time.
I am getting out this week as soon as it hits the lower 40's. Don't like holding this stock.
Anyone notice the filing took place in the Cayman Islands? Why are holdings placed there?????? Cult following in here and some of you are starting to salute "Sig Neil!"
They just filed from the Cayman Islands. Why there? Sounds fishy?
The supply and demand for ethanol swings wildly from quarter to quarter. Investors seem to have become wary of investing in Ethanol stocks because they have never traded at a stable trend. Wild swings up and down is all that has happened with Ethanol stocks regardless of what the charts and data provide. As UNDAUNTED pointed out many times, this is an artificial market and this easily may explain the volatile trends.
IMO, I think the stock will stick to .40 pretty tightly for awhile. With the 27.5 M new shares sold at .40, I don't see the stock going below .40 much. However the market doesn't always react rationally, so it might. Undaunted hit the nail on the head with this one...
No one knows where PEIX is headed. Most unpredictable stock in the market.
Gonna need a BIG bottle. How many times have we heard it is going to be the "next" quarter?
Indeed.
I cannot stop laughing reading all the post from this latest run up. Everyone yelling "See you at 2 dollars" or "see you at 3 dollars". "have a great weekend everyone! its going to explode Monday!"...haha
I wasnt implying they would go away. My pint is that 95% of the corn is grown in the corn belt East of Colorado and if you look at the map below, plants are popping up everywhere in that area. Plants that are located where there is less corn has to have it shipped there and it will be harder for them to compete for corn with all the plants in the corn belt...
http://www.ethanolproducer.com/plantmap/
That sounds great and all but what I am also seeing are new plants popping up all over the country. These plants are going to have to compete with each other over getting the corn and PEIX's plants are all out West ( one in Colorado ) three West of Colorado
