Apparently, we will still need patience for a few months (three, four, five or six?)...
Imagine the valuation for this Company when it happens!
Could that be an institution that KBLB could work with, hence the interest for India, in the Company’s plan...?
True! Yank, thanks a million!
Yes Yank has been has been very helpful in our understanding of the process required to develop KBLB’s material and more!
For sure kings, board members are very instrumental (and essential) in the development of our Company!
These new MOUs and the ones planned for reeling and weaving are good signs that things will progress a lot faster than it did in the USA, given that silkworms are successfully breeded in VN!
I’m very optimistic that in the next few months production will be ongoing and KBLB will be generating substantial revenues.
I appreciate very much that Kim and Jon keep us informed as frequently as they have done in the last month!
Is this the Company’s new headquarters in Quam Nam? What does it say?
Promaster,
« Can you or Truth provide further attribution of the capitals source? »
Here are my guesses:
- The US army is convinced of the superiority of DS and is expecting great results for the tests on the shoot packs and will provide additional funding to KBLB, in many millions (enough for the Company to leverage these funds for investing directly in Quam Nam or getting a loan from a bank)...Need a PR and completion of SEC forms
- Other customers have provided significant funds through agreements with the Company, which the Company will leverage in the same way as above...Need a PR and SEC forms even if the agreements are ND, the Company would have to disclose the amount received as a material event
- The Company has received an investment offer from a major company (or perhaps from Quam Nam) and is leveraging this...Need a PR and SEC forms, as this would be a material event
- Kim is investing his own money, through the sale of his own shares...Very highly doubtful! It would also require a PR and SEC forms
- there might be other scenarios...
Thanks Libbe, this text lets no doubt that the Company will invest the 50M$US!
« KBL has already signed contracts with the US military and received requests from many major customers. According to Rice, combining the high-tech silkworm with the traditional silkworm raising work in Quang Nam will create high-quality silk yarn.
In the first phase, KBL will invest USD50m in 2,000 to 2,500 hectares of land for mulberry and silkworm cultivation./. »
Three fundamental questions:
- Where are those funds coming from?
- What are the major companies?
- Why has this not been PRd by the Company?
Sorry I meant Quam Nam and the text is very misleading, the title suggest that KBL is investing (as well as part of the text), however, the text suggest that Quam Nam is investing. Who is investing? Is it the Company, is it Quam Nam or is it both? If the latter, what are eachother’s share?
If it is the Company that is investing 50M$US, where are those funds coming from? And most importantly, why has’nt the Company PRd this to the shareholders??? That is a very material event for the Company.
Thank you Truth, that is major investment for the Company. Do I understand correctly that Quam Lang is investing 50M$US in the Company?
A 10 figure contract??? That would be 1 000 000 000 US$. That is a Billion dollar contract! Let’s not go crazy...
« The only thing that puts money In shareholders Pockets is sales plain and simple ....years and years away for that. »
While I agree partially with the first part of your sentence, I certainly don’t agree with the last part! We were years away, but now, we have already generated revenues (Army contract) and will most certainly continue to do so. This is just the beginning!
Mojo, I think the Company is becoming highly visible and scrutanised by current investors and potentiel ones, hence the pr. Kim wants to maintain integrity for the image of the Company.
Happy Memorial Day to all Americans. Great people in a great country. The world would not be the same without you, and as a Canadian, I'm very proud that our two countries are following the same path and lead to make the world a better place for all.
JonnyO07
Hope you are right Nimb, there is a wind of change! Glad to be on board!:O)
Perhaps these people feel the eminence of news that could signficantly turn this Company, or perhaps they feel that the last news was significant enough to indicate major investments coming for the Company, or perhaps they know somerhing we don’t...
So, the only reason why KBLB would seek FDA approval is if KBLB intends to produce medical products itself, right? Thought so...
Thanks for sharing this Truth.
What would be sweet is if the bid would match.
USA is just as corrupt as any other country!
There is a universal rule: if you know the right person at the right time, chances are, you will get what you want and faster.
Places like USA and Canada, just enforce rules a little harder but there is no doubt in my mind that if you put your money in the right hands you will get what you want and a lot faster.
Agreed, it would be insane to contemplate selling as a short time opportunity considering the possibilities that are at reach!
I’m now very much convinced that Kim has diligently managed this company’s path towards mass production. He has managed to sustain interest and patience in the Company (publications, R&D, limited production, army deal, ndas...and many forward looking statements!) despite our frustration over the wait for a Vietnam official approval, because he knew this was key to the success of the Company.
« What's next?
Financing announcement
Shoot pack pictures
Grand opening of sub
New fiber to DoD
Shipment of silkworms to vietnam
Production ramp up in vietnam
Customer contract
The future looks bright, I gotta wear shades »
From the latest PRs, I think we can scratch the Shipment as were told the Company will ship silkworms.
Also, the last PR is a lot more action oriented than forward looking, so yes, you are right, the future looks bright!
I think we will have many reasons to stay positive, as developments (through the subsidiary) in our Company will unfold a lot faster than we anticipate!
And those are not forward looking statements but actioning ones!
Romans, is the Gorilla ready to hit the trigger?
It’s going to work, because some eyes were certainly lurking on this Company very patiently, waiting for this news. We will get many more.
Now, let’s go crazy!
Kim, John and everyone who supported the Company deserve all the credit for this accomplishment!
This is the beginning of a very fruitful journey, and we are very lucky to be part of it.
Very interesting, thank you both (golfer and imjin). We don’t know how many positions are required, but this tells us that production is ongoing! We may know from the revenue and expense sheet how much was spent on production salaries.
Things are moving in the right direction...
All tight thanks dad, good to know, and so this is good news.
That’s the thing, why isn’t this news linked to the previous news related to Vietnam? How is the new subsidiary going to help get the missing approval from the central government (or any other)?
Not sure if this news only means that we went from a foreign investor to a local investor with hope to accelerate approval of production in Vietnam by the central government?
“In most cases, to enter into a licence agreement, the foreign licensor does not need to establish a business entity in Vietnam. Establishing a subsidiary or branch office in Vietnam is optional.
Foreign licensors who wish to establish a business entity in Vietnam have to satisfy certain conditions or restrictions imposed on foreign investors. Typical examples of these conditions and restrictions include, among other things:
-limitations on foreign ownership in certain sectors;
-business sector restrictions;
-requirements for forms of investment;
-geographic restrictions;
-conditions on the qualifications of Vietnamese partners; and
-other conditions or requirements relating to specific business sectors.
As for regulatory review requirements, to establish a company in Vietnam, foreign licensors must obtain at least
-an investment registration certificate (IRC). The IRC will set out content relating to the investment project, such as investors, project location, objectives and scale of the project, investment capital, investment incentives and restrictions; and
-an enterprise registration certificate (ERC). The ERC will provide the corporate details, such as the company name, registered office address, charter capital, owner’s details and legal representatives of the company.
The provincial Department of Planning and Investment or the board of management of the relevant industrial zone or park with jurisdiction over the location of the investment project has the power to approve the IRCs and ERCs. However, larger-scale projects and certain types of projects require a ‘decision on investment planning’ approval from higher-level government bodies prior to submission of the IRC and ERC to the local investment authorities. In addition, approval of the foreign investment from a number of other government bodies may be required, depending on the nature and scale of the foreign investment.”
Thought we already had an IRC and an ERC?!
I think the road is paved with this news!
I was going to ask the same thing! What is the Company trying to achieve with this PR???
And he is doing that all because he loves his shareholders! Imagine what he would if he didn’t love us?!
