Amazing how people with a very limited amount of knowledge can make statements how LLC's work in the business world. To some people the glass is always half empty. FSNR will sell water and will make a profit. EOM
and the MM's like to trade from the short side!
The MM's read everything that is available about a stock they make a market. They are in here and on the web site. EOM
They read the blogs and see the company will have income!
If your are MM's and you know a company has good news coming and you do not want to sell stock, which inturn means you have to short the stock you sell, you spread it out. This makes the stock look unattractive to a potential buyer when you have to pay say 20 cents and the sell side is 10 cents.
I too am an old farmer and worked on my share of Aermotor windmills. Like the simple things in life and can tell you have a great attitude, after all your a farmer.
Dad I bet you were a bronc buster, handy with a rope, dirt farmer, and a pretty decent windmill man which makes you ranch and soils analysis, and a water engineer. Which in turn gives you an advantage on buying FSNR.
Uneducated farmer that went to college, hmmmmmmmmmm oxymoron at best. LOL. My Dad told me to always watch out for the cattle trader that had a hard time with math.
Should be showing positive earnings will just not owe as much on federal tax.
LOL I did not take that as a negative, it is a fact!
As long as a company has losses, it does not show earnings. With the water sales looming in the distance, these losses actually become net assets due to not having to pay federal income tax. The companies sale of water should put them in a positive earnings. The intrinsic value as well as earning come in to play on the price of the stock.
There are several formations that bear huge amounts of oil and gas that lie below the Eagle Ford Shale play. You have the Buda lime, Georgetown, and Pearsall formation to drill so the water will be in demand for a long time.
bid and ask
Not directed at you Dad, you are a very considerate person and seem to be a mature investor. I can understand the need for information but the company has to release information with merit.
Sax loves to speculate on the what if basis. I am sure FSNR has met their obligations of the JV or they would not be releasing information. FSNR falls under the rules of Sarbanes-Oxley and to my knowledge they follow the law.
Hmmm loaded question. That is like asking an attorney if he still beats his wife.
Yes daaa
no not any more.
Hmmm goose neck trailer loaded with Poly pipe, trencher, dozer, poly welder I guess they showed up to lay pipe!
Great post and great due diligence. I think you are on target on all accounts. Thanks for the update.
February 15th
We all have that problem. LOL
The day you bought the stock at 12 cents, 51,000 was shorted. Now add what you bought with the shorted stock and you will see what has happened.
Thanks redshoulder for the very informative post!
How do you know the qualifications of the people on this board?
With some patience those will be revisited. The demand and price will determine time and place.
I know for a fact that FSNR is in the right place at the right time. I guess all has noticed that the price of crude oil and gas at the gas pump is edging up. This is due to world demand. China and India have very little oil and their countries have coal and methane but lack the oil. A pumper was telling me there is a new kid on the block buying oil. Until they showed up all the oil was sold to refiners in the US. The new kid is buying the oil, loading it on super tankers in Houston and bon voyage, hello China. The shale plays like the Eagle Ford, Baken, Permian Basin, and Smack over plays make a lot of oil. All are horizontal wells that need Fracs. That is where FSNR might fit in to the equation.
Maybe it is time for you the hang your hat somewhere else. Revenue, construction, and the recycling. I know that is probably over your head but it gives some insight to a prudent investor.
You are so right on Finisher. The Eagle Ford will be one of the most prolific oil and gas producing formations for an estimated 20 years or more. The estimates are 7,000 vertical wells to be drilled per year with numerous lateral drills off of each vertical. These are shale formation wells and it is well known that these will produce for a few years and then will have to under go another frac process to keep the production up. The estimate is over 77,000 wells in the next seven years. That is a lot of water needed to make this happen.
Some great images, thanks DD. Pajarito ranch is locted on the Wilson county, Karnes County line.
WOW, I have been watching too. It is a great adventure providing water to the oil and gas industry. Not just a small amount of water but huge amounts of water. Maybe there will not be the "Willy Wankel water factory machine with bells and whistles, chain drives and v-belts a huming. but Freestone is in the business to make money and they will by selling HUGE amounts of water.
Found any 42 gallon barrels Ponzi or are you still looking?
You are so critical of this company and like to attack the management. Soon we meet!
Your slanderous remarks about the FSNR exes proves you have very limited knowledge of securities laws. Exes have to file 144 papers to sell any shares.
Dissolved air flotation
Dad you are right on target. The water is the key to the success. Supplying the initial source of water and having a good supply is first and formost to the equation. Second is recycling the flowback water and the produced water to be reused in Fracing.
Everyone want to see a big machine with bells and whistles, but is that the answer to the problem and does it make economical sense?
It is not so simple with all of the permits needed
1. For a commercial well to sell water
2. For a recycling permit of Frac and Flowback water
3. For a Disposal well
4. To meet the standards of the DOT for a load out facility.
Once again a little bit of knowledge is dangerous.
Oh and all of the Tax losses become an asset to the company with earnings.
Very good DD and to all the astute FSNR investors.
I agree DD! I wonder if anyone figured out where to buy the 42 gallon water barrels?
Making assumptions about unknowns is not wise. Can you really say that the ORU technology or the Petrozene does not work? You state this repeatedly and I look forward for your explanation where it matters.
Very well put Redshoulder!! Also the permits are very valuable.
