Hi Rick,
Got 55K more of CLSI at .021 this morning, so 90K all told. Now will see if that's a good move or a bad move. Still holding 70K of ATNG also.
Just did my evening reading of the mullet board. It would really be hilarious reading if it wasn't so sad. While some are pumping in the hope of getting suckers to buy, some I really believe are actually that stupid. 048 is actually borderline retarded. Worse yet he's enamored of his power to iggy people if they don't hum his tune. Methinks he should have not ignored posters that could have saved him some of his cash a long time ago. Now all he's got is his certs.
Rick,
Nope, the 35K shares was it. Oh well, at least ETRADE is only $9.99 if I want to try to let it cook again tomorrow.
Rick,
Could be, but I looked hard in terms of real estate. Still appears to live in his old house in St. Pete, took out two second mortgages to suck out 100% equity. Lives like a dog compared to ol' Jeff and LoC. Of course we can't look into his safe deposit box or his offshore accounts. Possible he owed the mob and worked it off and is now free to make some money to keep for himself. We know he had a BK just before getting together with Turino to invent PCBM.
zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Derf, your quote-
"It could go up 1000% and these mullets would never sell a share! A chance to get even means nothing to these people."
You have just defined greed and why it can be an enemy in investing. And yes, there could be another pump or two left in this baby. We have no way of knowing what is on Hall's alleged mind. We don't even know why he stayed clean with the SEC and we also don't know why there is no visible wealth exuding from him like the other hucksters.
I wonder how many of the lingering longs are acting out of deperation at this point. Better question is I wonder what percentage of the remaining "true longs" will be damaged or even financially destroyed once reality has played out for them. Of course there already have been bankruptcies and divorces over this scam. I guess the part that bothers me the most is those people, to my knowledge, never went after the people that damaged/destroyed them.
I think, for me, PCBM was less a lesson in finance than in human psychology. Only I haven't grasped the answers very well.
Geo.
Did not do an all or none. Did do today only. I see I just got 35K shares filled at .022. If I don't get any more, so be it.
I saw you were being hard on poor Larry (048) yesterday on the mullet board Tsk, Tsk. I don't post there any more. No point in it. Those still there are either terminally stupid, desperate or part of the act. Does make for good periodic recreational reading, however. They can come up with rationalizations way beyond bizzare for their "problem". None seem to include management being crooks.
Geo.
Thanks guys. The difference between .022 and .023 is of course $100. I will let the order stay there a while yet. Maybe in the noon hour sag, some kindly MM ha ha will give at least some of it to me. The spread is better than 10% and that I don't like.
Geo.
Hey Randy,
I just put an offer in to buy 100K shares of CLSI at .022 Currently it is at .020 X.023. No fill yet. It charts as bullish for the intermediate and long term.
Thanks,
Geo.
Randy,
Yeah, thanks. I forgot about CLSI. I've played it pre-2000 crash. Never got back to where it should be. I think I'll try to get in tomorrow on a dip. Market and the economy are headed south big time. Has no effect on crappola grade stocks however. As far as BB pennies, that's all I play with my funny money. If I lose it, so be it. I have many other hobbies.
Thanks,
geo.
Janice,
Pray tell, what did my heart throb Linda do last night?
SOunds a lot like sex to me
Hear ye Hear ye
Last night the board got into some real hot button topics like Religion, politics and sexual orentation. These are always subjects that can elicit strong differing viewpoints. I'm proud to be associated with this group for tolerating each other's feelings without attack. Hard to find that in a public forum. Couldn't imagine it on RB.
Just an observation worth mentioning, I think
geo.
Me too Susie Q. I just got this email and it gave me a good laugh:
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq.
Why don't we just give them ours?
It was written by a lot of really smart guys,
it's worked for over 200 years, and anyway,
we're not using it anymore.
Ho detto che i miei bambini erano a metà italiani. Forse pensa che l'italiano sia come essere nero o l'indiano. LOL. Indovino che mnakes i miei bambini Bi-razziali anche. Sono a metà italiani ed a metà tedeschi.
buona sera Signora
Not bad for a machine translator. I sell internationally on EBAY (Hacienda40) and it works great for me. http://www.worldlingo.com/wl/translate
She accused me of making fun of her "racially mixed" kids. I never even knew or did I care.
"Though I won't be 56 till the end of March"
You old goat!. I thought only trees were measured in numbers that high. You have seven years to go to catch up to me, but I won't be able to wait.
B&B that's me on #4, unless Derf has me tied!
Geo.
Ah Fung, You are correct as always. As I have said many times they are all crooks. Clinton may have had his women, but compared to Kennedy, he was a rank amateur. Eisenhower had his chauffer (sp) FDR had his honey at his side when he died, not his wife. As for Nixon, well he wasn't a bad president in many ways, he just thought he was king. Carter was as moral as they come but a macro-detailer that could accomplish nothing. Now we have a (maybe ex) coke snorting, drunken psychopathic liar. See I am not predjudiced towards one paty or the other. What I am against is what they have become and what we have become for allowing it to continue to degenerate. And no, I don't know how to stop it either.
You see why they say never discuss religion or politics. Both sides have strong feelings and believe they are right. Now I like DDF, but in answer to his question about his kid thinking it's cool to be gay. I'd rather that than have him grow up to be a wife beater or someone who breeds lots of kids and doesn't support them -morally or financaly. I think Rick would tell you his life would be less complicated if he was straight, but it just didn't work out that way for him. Has no bearing on my life or my values.
Geo.
Rick, your post--George...I read recently about several people who were locked up post 9/11 in solitary confinement for 18 months and were then let go. They have no recourse. Yikes. What is going on here? You have a wrong last name and you get locked up in solitary for 18 months?
Guess what? If you had the wrong last name you were banned from voting in Fla in the 2000 presidential election also. Can you imagine how bad Dubya would have lost Fla if all those black folks with names like Jones weren't prohibited from voting because one Jones somewhere in Florida was once convicted of a felony. Roughly 16,000 poele were wrongly turned away at the polls. That's why Katherine Harris is running for the Senate now. They owe her a big one.
Derf,
I think with the loss of millions of jobs, offshoring of even high tech jobs like my own, corporate malfeasance and a few wars and nuclear threats, our govt. should devote a lot more of their resources (our grandchildren's at that) to those problems rather than attacking two people dedicating their lives to each other. I've seen a lot of miserable "straight" couples. I love Asscroft's family values, where it is a sin to even dance, but is OK to lock people up indefinitely who may not even have committed a crime. Also I admire his love of Jesus in wanting to execute everyone he can, even minors and the retarded. Yeah baby, those are what I call good Christian family values.
Geo.
Regarding Nader, Jeez, Rick I hope he's only foolin'. Everything that Nader stood for was lost as a result of his candidacy in 2000. I don't see how he could do it again. This time he doesn't have the eyes and ears even of the green party, but he can still siphon off votes. My take is he will use the legitimacy of his candidacy to blast the current admin even harder than the Dems and then bow out (I hope). I am not a Democrat by any means, but this has got to be the most evil, corrupt lying group of thugs to ever run (ruin) this country. Thank God they have Jesus on their side.
Geo.
Yes, I'm not excited about the 70K shares, but not inclined to put any more into it. Need to find a new puppy to play with.
Geo.
One can assume RB is not neutral in their positions any more than Murdoch and Ailles' beloved Fox News Network is. It's when people start believing what is presented in those venues that the trouble starts. I don't remember ever having seen anything posted by the RB people stating they were neutral. Actually there may not be anything illegal about them even receiving renumeration for TOSing "problem" people. After all who really defines fiction from fact. It is always a rather arbitrary process in BB land.
Ms. Linda Bruzzione has always been an enigma. Obviously she is not just a post-menopausal lonely hosewife with too much time on her hands (although she may be that too). Someone is paying her to post, dial up London, etc. Someone wants the truth hushed up and those that are overtly touting a differnt line from her employers need to be silenced. RB is not the free press. Actually there isn't any free press in this or any other country any more. That's too bad for the ignorants that can't sort out the fact from the fiction. It allows the crooks from the political spectrum to Corporations to law enforcement and justice depts. None of what we see or hear is necessarily truth. God, I've gotten cynical in my old age!
Geo.
Rick,
I don't know. I bought 40K shares a week or so ago and then another 30K shares Thursday, so total 70K shares. Not a major investment. I'm not inclined to sink any real money into it unless it starts heading up a little bit.
Geo.
Rick,
Worse yet if you added up the posters with multiple aliai, you are probably down to 10 or less actual different people posting.
Oh my,
Miss beer guzzler is geting annoyed with the mgmt. of PCBM? Can't believe that day has come. She doesn't know it yet but Vincenzo has already euthanized her. Funny, she used to love them thar folks. Some people just catch on quicker than others, I guess. If you remove the scammers, there aren't many real people with faith left. I just came up with a new theorem. I'll thnk I'll call it Postulate of Continuum for those Beholden to Moronism (PCBM):
Alas, the length of time a real "investor" continues to stay in this POS is directly proportion to their stupidity.
Is Miltie, Guru and nosurrenderNC still posting? Of course, they may all be one person. Alan C. I would put in a different class where his stupidity is exceeded by his desperation. All*n, Wendela, Hochie, and of course Slurp are part of the game so they don't count.
Rick,
He may have a point there, sort of. In reality the short issue changes of April fool's day won't do a thing for PCBM but...... if enough idiots believe it, the stock will go up between now and April 1. Of course on April 2 it all comes crashing down when reality strikes.
geo.
Damn. I was listening but didn't do anything
Geo.
Even better is www.bigcharts.com. You can also do charting there. A great charting program also is at http://www.stockta.com/cgi-bin/analysis.pl?symb=CPN&num1=8&cobrand= That will bring up Calpine, but just put in anything you want up at the top and reload.

Poll: Confidence plunges
Another bad sign for our economy:
ABC/Money poll says a plunge in consumer confidence equals its steepest drop on record.
February 17, 2004: 6:31 PM EST
NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Consumer confidence plunged last week, matching its steepest drop on record in more than 18 years of weekly polling by ABC News and Money magazine.
The ABC/Money Consumer Comfort Index, based on ratings of current economic conditions, lost seven points -- a single-week fall that's been matched just twice before, in January 2001 and February 1990. In each of those cases, recessions followed.
Derf,
Sorry you didn't get out this time. There may be another pump between now and April fool's day. Call Slurpy and see if he plans on giving it another shot. Better yet call Hall and ask if he's gonna give the Slurp and Ms. Wendela another trunkload of shares to "distribute".
Geo.
I see our beloved PCBM is pretty active today. About 20 million shares or about $4K at .0002. Wonder if H&H will print another couple of billion while the gettin's good.
Geo.
Susie-
Good. Only foolin' ya anyhow. We are by and large a pleasant group. How can anyone not like us? (besides Marc). We do conspire, but only to learn the truth - not to mislead. Such a noble cause, sniff, sniff.
Geo.
Either a misprint or someone overpaid a whopping $7.97 on the 200 shares
Susie,
I thought this was always a stockboard. Just a group of "efriends" with a common bond called PCBM. Get uppity and I will have DeKawa get on you again (not literally, of course).
LOL
Geo.
You remember my story? AH yes XON put 90s, either a multi milionaire or back to work. Almost like the Hunt brothers cornering the silver market. Unfortunately XON closed at 90 3/8 that Friday and I went back to my real job shortly thereafter.
Geo.
Correcto
I played options for a living in 1986. I had to rent a terminal and a dish for about $250/month for real time quotes. It was a small sat dish not much bigger than DirecTV has today. I would track my stocks then pick up the phone and call Schwab to place an order. It would sometimes take 5-10 minutes to get to talk to someone. All the while you are on hold listening to soothing music, or repeated DJIA quotations, you would watch the subject of your call heading the wrong direction.
Geo.
I wont care about 2030. I'll be dead (or 90 and senile)
