Yeah.
Also, if you go to phoneguard.com and look at the video, the text at the top of the video says "Phoneguard ft. Justin Bieber - Let Them Wait".
Sometimes I feel that management is playing with us and is directing that message to us.
lol...just teasing..
AT&T @ATT
We created a simulator to safely recreate the experience of texting while driving. Watch to see how test drivers fared. http://social.att.com/iji
Interesting...PhoneGuard can be a good solution for AT&T huh? Should post PG on ATT's FB..
"Just 10% of the buzz about Bieber on social networks mentioned robotic toys company TOSY, which reportedly spent six figures to have the YouTube star-turned-mega-celebrity endorse a robot."
Read this. Funny.
http://mashable.com/2012/01/11/i-went-to-find-a-robot-at-ces-but-found-justin-bieber-instead/
I have about 26K more shares to reach 1M. Been avging down from $0.050, but im glad that my avg now is around $0.017
yeah, it's funny that he was rocking back and forth. but still more natural than how that tosy robot was moving. lol
The weird thing I noticed last week is that we uncovered 4 hidden pages..
www.phoneguard.com/android
www.phoneguard.com/blackberry
www.phoneguard.com/cellairis
www.phoneguard.com/truecare
After 2-3 days, they "removed" the android and blackberry pages by having those URLs redirect back to the phoneguard.com homepage.
HOWEVER, they did NOT remove the cellairis and truecare pages...
So, seems like they are intentionally keeping those latter two pages there, most likely for a retailer launch day or something. But yes, these pages still need to be cleaned up.
car, i think u pm'ed me by accident..
at work, we say this:
"YTMND!!"
http://ytmnd.com/info/about
lol
dwight is a monster. not like the fat shaq.
if anyone is familiar with playing fantasy basketball, u already know that dwight is usually in the first 5 picks in the first round of drafting. he's a popular one for many reasons which i wont go into.
anyway, it would be nice if opmg could get chris paul or blake griffin involved somehow. their names have been in the news a lot lately.
Cellairis, Preway Sales, and TrueCare
yeah, i notice that. you may be right that it's inactive, which makes sense if they are abandoning these smaller versions to take on a bigger effort with bigger sites with possible prominent partners. but if they do activate the cellairis one, im sure they will clean up and activate the truecare one too.
i like how you guys are keeping everyone aware of all the little changes being done on the site. something is stirring in the backend for sure. i dont check the site as often so i cant monitor the changes as well as others, BUT i will climax when i see the copyright date at the bottom of the site changed from "2011" to "2012". THAT will prove that they are progressing FORWARD and have big things AHEAD to work towards, and not leaving things dead in the water like some of you pessimists may believe.
Being a web developer, i can say that making sure the legal, copyright and disclaimer information are correct and up-to-date is one the very last things on our checklist before a new site (or updated site) get pushed out live.
so when you see "2012", brace yourself for an eruption.
Well, in this situation here, i should feel lucky that i DO have the option to wait out before deciding to sell and loose. And what they say is true: Do dont lose a penny until you sell. With a stock like opmg where the downside is losing peanuts and the upside is "TO DA MOON", i'd never sell this at such a marginal profit, if any. Waiting is the best bet here.
It's not like in a casino here where you can (and most of the time, WILL) lose your money and not being in control at all. After all though, playing stocks is just a more cautious way of gambling. doesnt look like you're a gambler at all, and that defeats any notion of taking risks in the stock market. =O
What the...? So....are u happy with your $30 profit, minus several transaction fees?
Seems like not only the trading is hung, but the board activity is hung too. lol
i dunno but i was wondering the same thing.
I remember that at least two members here posted yesterday that they received an email or text from St. Clair saying OPMG will be making announcements soon. Has anyone else gotten similar responses from him since?
I say 80% we will have another CC so that they can explain what has been going on.
well, i dont have any proof or inside info because I was just quoting u3ratsinabag..
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=70990820
...but yes have the same high hopes as you and many other optimists here.
"...I am going to pay off my house when we hit $0.23, buy a bass boat when we hit $0.36, and throw a F'n party on the moon when we hit $1.00. All loyal longs invited..."
Dude, that's my plan! =)
I don't have any idea if a buyout is going to happen or not, but IF it does happen, how does this process work?
1) Would there be a set date where a conference call is set up so that all interested investors can attend along with the BOD to vote on the buyout PPS? I can't imagine that us investor's won't have any say in it...
2) Will the "record date" (or whatever term is used) for investors be a date in the recent past or the near future? For instance, if they announce a buyout today, will current and potential investors still have a chance buy more stock, or would they already have designated a cut-off date a few days/weeks before?
post marked!
NICE! This info should quell all those fears and rumors brought on by those damn bashers and you-know-whos this last week.
thanks for posting the pics bohica. sorry i dont have pm privileges
I sure hope St. Clair sees this. I've seen companies suing investors for damaging and defacing the reputation of the company due to false claims that ward off potential investors.
hey stocker3, i read this post of yours right after I posted mine. we sure think alike. =)
what we can do is contact tmz and ask where they first heard this news from.
and who's slapping all this info up on their window? you?
I agree that on its own, tmz would never care about what happens to a company like opmg, even if the bieber is affiliated with it, and it has no interest to do so. I do have a feeling that we have a rat in here who, on his own, is trying hard to expose the details of this seemingly insignificant lawsuit to all the media outlets through writing, email or phone calls, and hoping to blow it out of proportions. Then he is going back to this ihub board and tells members that this issue is so big that it is catching the attention of the general public.
Can you guys post the photo of the flyer for all of us to see too?
"Then again, this anti texting movement has legs, strong legs, lots of public awareness and it is building week by week."
There's no doubt about that:
www.distraction.gov
www.facebook.com/sec.lahood
Just to get a random but general idea of the composition of our opmg board members, please share with us your nationality.
I'll start. I'm vietnamese (and i dont have any problems with everyone bashing the TOSY robots)
=)
I agree. It is very ironic that a few here claim to want the company to succeed and are eager to throw in powder to invest, and yet work hard day and night with their sticks and shovel to dig up what they assert are dirt and poop about the company to share with the board.
Almost Retired, what you posted is very entertaining to read, and rather surprising knowing it came from you:
"I'm an intelligent businessman, period"
Whoa, easy there.. Ok, if that's what you think....But people here are more interested in the outlook of and the possibilities with OPMG based on the background and credibility of the Company's management, rather than on some subjective assertions of self-proclaimed intelligent posters. So sticking that claim out here like a sore thumb is pretty arrogant, embarrassing and unnecessary.
I remember reading posts from you in the past and the attitude was much different, and I had much respect. However, it seems that you have become Eli-ed.
And the fact that you publicly self-proclaim to be an intelligent person 1) proves NOTHING, and 2) really made me laugh hard. Ever heard of this:
"The difference between a smart man and a wise man is that a smart man knows what to say, and a wise man knows whether or not to say it."
We'll seems like you fit in neither category.
You might be able to relate to the CONVERSE of these though:
"A wise man knows how little he knows."
"True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing. And in knowing that you know nothing, that makes you the smartest of all."
Stay humble, my friend.
"This story we are not hearing is probably bigger than the story we wished for at CES."
Nicely put!
"Lets say a person has 1,000,000 shares and it's an all cash deal for 50 cents, ya get $50K distributed by your broker to a cash account at the close of the buyout. "
hmmm...probably a typo but...
if i have 1,000,000 shares worth 50 cents a piece, then i would want my broker to distribute $500,000 (and not $50,000) into my account after a buyout, right?
Otherwise, #$%$ the buyout!
=)
i'm now thinking that the reason why opmg has been silent these last few days is because there were changes to the plan and they want to deliver some extremely satisfying and uplifting news (such as deals, partnerships, etc) for its investors after CES week. only with good news can they justify their decision to not communicate with investors while the deal was being worked out behind the scenes, and at the same time reward us investors that have hung on to the ship.
i cannot think of any reason why any company would not say a word to its desperate and news-hunger investors, and then later release news that further breaks their heart. that would be truly detrimental to the company. If it were the case that management saw bad things coming ahead of them, they would have gotten worried, and would have been releasing small, encouraging prs, tweets, etc, to keep investor morale intact.
so whatever pr that comes out next will be good, VERY GOOD, i think.
For me, I doubled my share count the other day, paying only 1/3 of my previous avg per share.
I just don't think a buyout is good at this time because it's just too soon. This company needs to grow more first.
My cousin was investing in Palm a few years ago. When the PPS was hovering around 4.75 or so, HP announced a buyout of Palm at 5.20. To me, that's just weird since the offer isn't very much over the current net worth. Anyway, so the payout date was set for investors and on that date, PALM shares were converted to HP shares, and investors got the cash payout in their trade accounts at $5.20/share. And what I was concerned about back then, and now, is the fact that investor have been cut loose just that that. They have no more ties with the old company and are now just dangling, and free to go pick another company to invest in.
If something like that is to happen to opmg right now, would you guys be all that happy walking away like that? wouldn't any of you be wondering how much more $$$ you can make if the company was not bought out and allowed to mature on its own?
