That's cool
Do some DD
My one concern is that our management team is turning out to be anti-white. Their attempt to sell a "multi-cultural" line of dolls turns into a focus on one race which, weakens the whole concept. Now, I really don't mind what their personal politics are [see Trent's twitter posts for that] but this is a public company now and profits are being missed by not catering to a "multi-cultural" consumer audience.
Playing up to the only the Black or White side of media and consumers only shows that OWOO is no different than Mattel was back in the 1960's. Isn't this what caused Stacey McBride to dream of making a more representative doll collection - one that would represent all little girls?
Great idea here, but keep an even keel and grow the market in all directions of the race spectrum. Otherwise, this is turning out to be no different than any other line of dolls targeting exclusively blacks. The Spanish doll is available right now, so why not go on Univision and pump up the Hispanic sales. Why are we not hearing anything about the soon to be produced Caucasian doll or the African and Middle-Eastern dolls. Plenty of press was being worked up for the black doll way before production began. Let's see some multi-cultural excitement across the board.
This whole concept is promising but without real EQUALITY the multi-cultural consumer market will feel underrepresented and then OWP loses all credibility.
Trent, Sarah, Mrs. Melton - again, this is about credibility and right now I'm not feeling it.
I like how Sarah mentioned she was unable to answer your email
due to travel, yet she sends this email from her mobile phone.
"Sent from my iPhone"
You may be correct. Something is not right. PPS has been constantly stepping downward in price for weeks - presumably through ongoing dilution to support business needs of the company.
If this is what has been happening then one may assume we are indeed headed for triple zeros before a RS and repeat until doll sales can cover costs and turn a profit. This bites.
I take back my statement...
I just noticed the Jet magazine ad you posted was from March 2012.
That numbering system would not make a whole lot of sense because it only allows for 3-digits, i.e. 797. So what happens at 10,000? Are the order numbers just going to continue expanding out to the right of the date? I doubt this is the case since there would at least be an ordering system built to accommodate the 20,000 dolls that OWOO had on hand at the start. So, either 797 were sold that day (unlikely I admit), or maybe "02797" refers to 2,797 units sold in total - OR better still, in the month of December alone. This is more probable.
Nice find. More credibility is power. Advertising in Jet Magazine is huge and shows that OWOO is continuing to make good on promises to get the word out about the dolls.
What would happen to the PPS if OWOO dolls began appearing on the shelves of one or more major stores like Walmart or ToyRus? Or if a major toy manufacture offered a buyout.
No idea if any of this is likely to occur, but it certainly is a real possibility.
I hope you have a valid concern. It's been kind of upsetting to watch OWOO do what it's doing. I'd be shocked if we experienced a sustained increase in PPS over the near-term. I pray we do, but looking at the 3-month chart presents a steadily declining share price. Can't wait until meaningful events get PR'd and we change course for the better.
Stagnant today. Sure wish we had some development to give a little momentum...
That is unrelated to OWOO
Positive outlook IMO .
"As REVENUES continue to INCREASE we will remain focused on our plan to build shareholder value through the ELIMINATION of CONVERTIBLE DEBT and the implementation of a share repurchase plan..." Joanne Melton, CEO of One World Holdings.
So much for Black Friday. Of course this was a bad year for the entire retail business market. I can only assume OWOO did not produce results worthy of mention. Hope something wonderful happens real quick...

If you are reading this please clean up your Twitter posts. Nothing personal, but business leaders of publicly traded [toy] companies should refrain from making comments that may include foul language or which may potentially exclude investors or consumers. Everything you do reflects upon this company - good and bad. Poor judgement has ruined many stronger companies and you can not afford to let your personal behavior affect the future of this company. Obviously you have an agenda so your comments are not taken seriously.
You sound like your are trying too hard. That's why nobody takes you seriously. Professional shorters con off more discreet by gaining trust if the board and then introducing such themes over time. Your posts come off as desperate.
Very smart of OWOO to limit production to 20,000 dolls. This is just the right amount to prove the product sells. When big Toy Industry invests in OWOO future bulk orders will be deeply discounted thereby increasing OWOO profit margins.
Exactly... a R/S at the right time is a smart move by the company and will allow for up listing when the time comes.
Zulu dude seems to think this is our first rodeo. To be certain, there is concerted effort to manipulate share price and it is directed towards scaring noobs into selling. Nice try but we know what OWOO is capable of accomplishing.
Lucky you!
This is not the company. This is what disciplined shorters do... F-up the share price for stocks they know will go back up then make massive buys at the low price and sell at a nice profit once the price returns to normal. It's a dick move but they are banking.

Doubtful
OWOO is definitely running in the right social circles. Only 2 degrees of separation from the rock star of multicultural marketing for Walmart. Naysayers can say all they want but this is not a coincidence. Things are going in the right direction as far as I'm concerned.
Has anyone heard a radio advertisement yet?
Walmart & Cynthia Bailey
That's pretty neat. Little by little things are going to connect.
Thanks. Should bring in a lot of eyes and deep pockets when mainstream advertising commences.
Did they say Jet and Ebony ?
That would be great.
True. More distribution deals are likely already in the works, and after the Toy Fair we should see some relevant news.
Advertisements better start soon or this company is missing an opportunity. Nobody knows OWOO from Adam and we wait.........
Black Friday is next week!
Just think... OWOO only needs a fraction of a percent of the revenue that Barbies are bringing into Mattel for the PPS to spike.
Bring on the advertising campaign Trent. Bring us a significant placement deal in a recognized chain store.
Agreed OWOO needs to overcome much before it is out of the trenches.
Clearly, mgmt is working to do just that and for certain the world's reaction to the company's actions over the coming months along with the outcome of the toy fair in February will give shareholders a clearer picture if where or if this company is really going anywhere.
I am a firm believer that more advertising will be a part of any major success that materializes over the short-term. People don't know what they don't know - it's that simple.
Until the average person can walk into Walmart or ToysRus and purchase the Prettie Girls dolls we don't stand a chance at becoming a household name. And there is always the threat that Mattel, Inc. (Barbie) or MGA Entertainment (Bratz) may provide some corporate leverage with current contracts in place within some of these major retail locations to limit further competition.
Another idea is that people are so sick and tired of hearing about ethnicity-related issues that the nerve OWOO hopes to strike with parents actually back-fires. This could explain also why we see popularity amongst fantasy dolls (monster high school, etc...). Kids may prefer to create their own magical world during play sessions rather than reliving the things we are inundated with on a daily basis - i.e. race, ethnicity, and gender. Just saying...
In any case, I'm fairly confident we could hit a penny throughout all of this and that is better than nothing.
You got that Right! This stock is a gold mine of an opportunity. Anything you buy today will triple or more in a month.
Great to see more weak hands leave.
