hopscotch...thanks. Wasn't sure how to answer this one.
I did...some are there, some are not...
and your point is...???
Mother Skunks...
how about post numbers on the QBID board???!!!
skunksy...sorry, but I can't get it...
just have Comcast here (now, if the Q was on Comcast...Hmmmmmm!!!)
Erik...none that I've seen!(eom)
This thing is behaving like
a chimp in a banana-nut house!
[which means, being the ignorant SOB that I am, I have no idea what's going on!]
And if we don't...
it will simply tank once again. At this point, it sure as hell is just anyone's call.
Gotta love those pinkies!
Sorry, hockeypond, but...
to say that MMs had nothing to do with last Friday's move is a bit short-sighted...no pun intended!
And, to say that "sideline players are in and more will be in with news expected. It will be moving higher" is pure speculation, as I just said in my last post.
Can you verify your statement or is it simply your opinion?
Hey folks...
try calling the toll-free number (from the U.S.): 1-888-871-9990 on a weekend to try and order a diamond. Sorry, but no can do; they are not available! Bullshit! If they are truly serious about selling diamonds on-line/via a website, then they should damn well have people staffing the toll-free line on weekends, when many people will have a chance to call. What a crock!!!
RE: last Friday's advance and Monday's potential activity...
No news, No new facts, No financing...simply pure speculation by all posters here! (including me! BTW!)
I hope, like many here, that this one goes to the moon (since I am still in it!), but last Friday could be nothing more than a total "head fake" by the MMs to get more poor suckers drawn in. Until some truly "hard" news comes out, this one is going nowhere in the near-mid term, IMHO. The great Dr. Barry Raymont aside, this is still a non-reporting pink sheet gamble...pure and simple.
Nettrader45...nicely put!(eom)
Hey sirotka3...sound thinking!(eom)
I envy you!!!(eom)
Hey Ritchie...be careful...
This thing made a really nice run back in early 2004 (during which I bought in), only to plummet once again and languish for many months (despite numerous "stellar" PRs).
I would love to see this thing keep going up, but I see no good reason for it to do so at the moment.
Just my humble opinion.
Wouldn't celebrate too soon...
looks like someone put the car into "reverse" gear!
Trading volume is now about 4X 10-day average...
...and, it's only mid-day, no less! And, on NO NEWS!
What the freakin' hell is going on here???!!!
Simply no doubt about it...
the MMs are doing some serious "signaling" to each other. Just too many 5,000 share blocks going through as the price keeps ticking up. For those of you with access to "time and sales" data, check it out!
What this ultimately means is anyone's guess, imo. But, I would be very wary of a sharp decline after (or even during!) today's activity.
Today's activity...
who the hell is doing all the buying?! Huge volume (and it's not even noon EST yet), and sharp price increase!
Me thinks that the MMs are having fun with this one today. Too many small lots going through (e.g., many 5,000 share trades, which equates to a measly $20 at 0.004).
Hey shepper...
It's not my first time with the pinks, but given my track record with them over the past couple of years, you really don't want my opinion. Hehehe!!!
mineralme...
I wish I could offer an educated opinion on your questions, but I'm the farthest thing from an expert on mining operations. All I have right now is hope that this thing will move up a few clicks. I got in fairly high (relative to today's prices), so I'd be happy just to see some serious upward movement of any magnitude at this point.
If I already "where" them? How cute!
Hey thunder...
why don't you answer posts directly rather than posting indiscriminately? Pumper???
So...???(eom)
neal...any references/links to back that up?
BTW: "exposure" to whom???
To my knowledge, the Q is available in three cities!!! (and only for those who access RCN!!!)
You're damn right...
I am an investor in this company, and the only benchmark I have on which to measure my investment is the PPS. Duh!!!
Useless?...yup!
I think it shows the great DEPTH that QTN is willing to go.
...at whose expense???
The Metro will be great exposure for the Q!!
"The Metro"?...what the hell are you talking about?!
Didn't Frank say NATIONWIDE coverage????
Yeah, and we're all still waiting for it!!!
Until we get major coverage, with its hopefully inherent revenues, we are simply "bleeding" cash!!! Whose cash you might ask? Well, how about the shareholders' cash!!!
Interesting PR...but useless...
"Q Television Network Covers Super Bowl XXXIX; Q Television to Cover the Gay Side of the Super Bowl"
My questions are: how many people will actually be able to see "The Gay Side of the Super Bowl"??? What sort of revenues will be generated from such coverage??? Even IF we get a major carrier between now and mid-year, who the hell will give a rat's ass about Super Bowl XXXIX by then??? Everyone will be starting to focus on Super Bowl XL by then!!! And, how much does this useless coverage COST the company (read: us shareholders)???
I for one would sure love to know how QTN can afford this, and all other development activities, in the absence of any significant revenue stream. Don't you???!!!
financialadvisor...grazie!!!(eom)
Hey mr_g...
I agree...nothing to get too excited about. And yes, they are trying to be as visible as possible, which is great. But (not to sound like a broken record), until we get a major carrier(s), the visibility is still looking a bit hazy right now, so to speak. Sure wish one of the "big boys" would pick up the Q!!! And, soon!!!
financialadvisor...sure hope your instincts are right...
I've been very frustrated with this one over the past 9-12 months.
financialadvisor...why do you like DMXP?
Sure seems like the "negs" are outweighing the positives today. Reality, perhaps?! Sure hope not!
[Yet, the share price is down once again!]
Mr_g...thanks for the reply...
You are quite correct in that those who are dissatisfied with the company and share price movements of late can certainly sell and move on. Absolutely. However, some of us (who did not get "free shares", so to speak) are in such a paper loss position that selling now would be virtually meaningless in terms of reducing the risk of holding this stock. In other words, might just as well hold on, since at this point there is little left to lose. I, of course, would love to see this one break new highs! In fact, I would be ecstatic.
As for the buyback, I still respectfully disagree, but hey, each to his/her own opinion, eh?! I'm just not convinced yet that funding is NOT a problem; just too many activities going on that obviously cost a lot of $ in the absence of any significant revenues. Hence, I feel that a buyback right now is financially imprudent. Such as it is; just my opinion.
Mr_g...
Don't underestimate the power of news and events?
Frankly, I don't think anyone here has underestimated the power of news and events. If anything, many of us have overestimated the power of news and events over the past couple of months. Lots of great news and events...and the share price is well off 50+%!
When we obtain solid carriers it will serve as the impetus to propel us to new highs, that's basically a lock.
You should probably say "IF" we obtain solid carriers. As for new highs being basically a lock given such news, no one can state that unequivocally. Hell, it would have to rise over 1,000% just to reach the old high!
As for share buybacks, etc.; IMHO, this company has much better things to do with its cash than buying back shares, e.g., further programming development, etc. Share buybacks are fine for the IBMs, GEs, Microsofts, Pfizers, etc. (who do in fact have plenty of cash on hand for such things), but certainly not for a non-reporting, developmental, pink sheet company like QBID.
How about this one, sky...
Alex: "If I can offer you one piece of advice...Average down, NOW."
And, this was back in late November, 2004!
Yeah, right! Glad I didn't!!!
Hey sky...
How about "The Long and Winding Road"?...DOWN!!!
how the hell could it be on the air...
...with NO hosts in the first place?! LOL!!!
Nettrader45...Hehehe!!!(eom)
Sorry, robertmic71...can't get to it...
can you email me with your thoughts?

Many thanks!!!
