Had a blast...
except my 40lb pack felt like 140lbs after being wet for 5 days...lol
Finished the 83 miles though. It was great and I even saw a bear and her baby cub (about the size a a dog) and a bald eagle. I spend the night one night under a rock ledge after getting caught in a wicked thunderstorm that lasted about 5 hours.
Starting at Amicalola Falls instead of the beginning of the trail was a bitch. You get out of the truck and start out climbing a set of stairs to the top of the falls. It is the tallest falls east of the Mississippi River (including Niagra Falls). 729 feet of stairs right out of the gate gets you primed up real fast...lol. After you get part of the way up on the right side of the falls a bridge traverses the falls and then you go up the left side. This is what you see from the bridge.
I am ready for Virginia now...well after I rest.
All of Georgia including the Southern Terminus from Springer Mountain GA (trail end) to Amicalola Falls GA so it's only about 83 miles. I have already done all of NC an Tennessee. (293 miles) 200 of which is on the border. That is the highest part of the trail. My favorites were around Linville Gorge and Roan Mountain. There are long expances there that are bald top mountains over a mile high and you can see forever. Got to run like hell though if you see a thunderstorm coming. You feel quite exposed up there.
Gotta go...be back soon and tired...lol

You guys hold down the fort and have a good one. I am off for a solo 5 day hike on the Appalachian Trail. I will be back Sunday.

Your TL has broken too ; )
HL just went to a buy on my 2:30pm 60 minute candle.
Gold has been on a buy since the opening bell.
We came three ticks on ES away from total meltdown. There are more stops sitting at or just below the February low at 1036 than seems possible. Every Tom, Dick and Harry must be camped out with their stops right there.
Good luck to all the "investors" out there. It must be really uncomfortable for them now.

As Pat Travers said...
"boom boom boom out go the lights"
1088.67 on ES and 660.47 on TF need to be crossed with purpose or we suffer. Those are the weekly pivots.
646.20 and 1080.25 are the daily pivots and they seem to be holding the price up.
Cross above weekly and we could get to or above the DTL but a failure of the daily pivot and lookout below.

Stop set at 648 for 1 point minimum. Maybe the night train will suk the bottom out. OCO order for 640 to get out with 9 points if it gets there.
75
Lot's of stuff pointing to Friday give or take a day. Major move starting or finishing? Full moon too...
75
674 to 686 maybe where we run to. I need to find a spot to get out of my short and wait a bit. Maybe we will open lower or come down a bit first.
75
Over the limit but still can post...go figure.
Waiting till right before EOD on TF (so they don't hurt me) and shorting this pig right where I got it this am...even a few points higher. Just getting a few here at 649.
ES 1200 is a memory now.\

Happens every Friday...like clockwork
They do their best to shake all the shorts out before the weekend.
Friday's are THE WORST day to short the afternoon session. Now you know why I took profits. That and listening to Bang scare me...lol
Last post...Have a wonderful weekend guys.
They don't have to. The lemmings want to hear good news about their money and the markets so they watch and believe. That sells add space and they feel better about themselves and their money.
It's opposite on the nightly news. People want to see bad chit and suffering as long as it is some other chump.
That is America in a nutshell.
Right on time baby. Closing green today just so everyone knows that the only rule is there are NO RULES.
But I never complain about a 12 point hit.
Oh and I can believe it...happens a lot with me
I think it may grab and go here in a minute so be careful
75...the scalper
I was wanting to hire sleazy for that. He already got paid...lol
I'll pay you.....
NO MIND
same as all the rest
Nevermind...took the 12 points and flat.
Bang is scaring me...lol
What a name...lol
I figured you were for rent like a demo saw. What ya charge?
Yes...but you work here too. You all do...LOL...NOW
Stop in place at 1085 for now. Target still 1055...for now
1095 will probably be untouchable and there were too many reasons to count why it should be shorted at the mid to high 1080's.
This morning looked like a good place to go long at the first support (625, 1052) but the action was not convincing when everything stopped dead on the pivot. We never even sniffed at getting past the pivot so that we could move to the first resistance. The pivot became resistance...therefore dooming the markets short term.
I want to see a much more volatile bottom that gets above something and stays...not bangs it's head and reverses. (651 and 656) as well as (1086 and 1091) remain the humps that need to be BLOWN thru today or we see 600 and 1014 IMO.

The national median home price is currently $166,100 or 9,400 ounces of silver. In 1980 the 1000oz silver to home ratio got to 1.242 to 1. In 1980 the DOW to Gold ratio was 1 to 1...believe it or not. The govt. has done everything in it's power to manipulate that but has failed MISERABLY.
Short ES at 1085.5 with a target of 1055.
My LT prediction...
Gold vs the DOW:
I am willing to wager that in this decade the price of spot gold (bullion) at 1182 now will be the same as the DOW which sits at 10160. I am not saying that one will drop more or the other will rise more but they are going to be priced the same or within a whisker of each other within this decade. The question is do they collide above or below 5000?
Silver vs housing:
The average price of a single family home will be equal to 1000 oz of Silver (17.50/oz now) That means $17,500 for the average home so you can see how far we have to go here. Where do they meet...above or below 100?
I think silver is the better buy but I think gold will make more of a steady run. Silver is probably going to bust out quick.

Edit stop...Last post...long 647 with target at 660
Stop 647...break even
Have a good one boys
Bounced out for no gain (650)
Done for the day unless it hits 646. Then I will buy for a quickie
There are giving it away at 650 again...me likey
Kind of rare but did anyone notice...
Both ES and TF came down and touched the UTL from last years March low and the 2 week ago low and bounced up dead on the line.
75
Out at 655 for another 8 points
That's my old favorite that I killed years ago. A real money tree. It looks like a great spot here at 5.20
Stop moved to 650...
Long all day without 1 short trade and making coin...what a lucky day
Out at 652 with half and letting the other half ride with break even stop (647)
Back in at 647...eom
Out at 650 for 2 points and a very sweaty morning
Nice support right there though...
Watching the center BB in 10 minute time frame. It has been since 5:00am this morning since we even got a sniff of the middle BB...lol
