We haven't seen all that much in the last few hours. It has been pretty slow trading since lunchtime. I don't know if things are going to pickup into power hour or not.
I know that person got their shares. I'd like to think that they wouldn't just dump like that, but I honestly don't know what that person is willing to do. I guess we found out. It would be nice if they were done selling. They have got to be close by now.
A short? I can't think of any way it would trade like this... but it seems like a very expensive short... I honestly have no real explanation for what happened.
Hard to say what will happen. I'll ride my shares to the grave if I have to. I still want to believe in it.
It's like a punch in the gut that's for sure. I had such a good month last month and today has been brutal. This is my worst red day since I opened my account more than 10 years ago.
Hopefully it is done. That's important. If they are done then maybe we can finally get some traction. I imagine with that much volume we'll set off momentum alerts.
And that's where I'm having a hard time. I really can't figure out where the ultimate line is on it. I know there is a new bottom in the making here, I just can't figure out where it is because it has been jumping around a little too much today.
Why can't they use commas? What was it before? I know it was around that level before, but I don't remember exactly what it was.
30 million shares dumped in 30 minutes. Not sure what to make of it. I don't think it is dilution looked like one big market sell. Pretty insane.
Looks like a large block holder dumped like 22 million shares. I am amazed that it held up so well afterwords. It was pretty crazy watching it happen all at once. I imagine we'll see it correct.
I don't see much of anything happening on the market as a whole. It has just been a strange day in general. I'm watching several stocks that have done similar things today. Hopefully we'll see some mid week corrections.
Absolutely crazy how this thing is trading today. It goes down 52% and then it is down only 28%... just jumping around. We need to establish a new base.
hahaha. Well, that's not what I'm hoping for necessarily. I would like to see some upward movement really. That seems to be the best thing.
Definitely had possession. There's no way he could have held that ball with one hand if he didn't have control.
Here is the clip from the filing that talks about the current objectives of the company. It doesn't show where the oil/gas came into play but that's the connection we just have to make on our own apparently.
Plan of Operation
Due to the liquidation of the assets of the Company’s main supplier, the Company has
obtained an agreement to manufacture equipment required to make a product similar to
its prior product. The Company is seeking financing to build that equipment. If
successful, the Company will then seek to market the product in the United Kingdom.
The minor administrative costs for the Company have been and will in all likelihood
continue to be borne by the Company's President indefinitely. The President anticipates
being able to meet the cash requirements of the Company until the need for additional
funds arises for advertising, samples and public relations related to the launch of the
product in the UK, but will need additional financing of approximately $2,000,000 to
build the equipment and make inventory. Through June 30, 2010, the President has an
amount due and owing from the Company for loans made of $26,807. The Company
believes that these additional funds will be needed no later than December 31, 2010. If
additional funds are not available at that time then the UK launch of the product will be
delayed on day by day basis until such financing is available, if ever. The Company is
seeking an equity placement in the UK to provide the needed financing. The Company
estimates the minimum cost of the launch to be approximately $2,000,000 depending
upon the geographic scope of the launch. The Company plans to open a small office in
the UK to oversee the launch of the product. The expenses of this office will be made
only when, and if, the above mentioned financing is obtained. If the launch is successful,
the Company will then, and only then, hire one or two employees to staff the UK office.
In the meantime, the launch will be supervised by the Company’s President.
In addition to the risk of not obtaining the additional financing, the Company also
faces the risk of lack of product acceptance, the risk attributable to operating in a foreign
country and risk of loss during shipment of its product that may not be covered by
insurance.
Definitely! I think they are doing the right things and going in the right direction but they are going to need to do a lot more work to fix their issues. Revenue is about the only way that I can think of that can really make that happen.
I tried to grab some on the dip down to .12 but I wasn't able to. That was pretty short lived. That would have been a nice profit in a short period of time.
Looks like we're moving back up now. It has been a brutal day for sure. Not the best day for me to watch level 2. I have been watching this one go up and down like crazy. But the last couple of trades have made a big difference.
it is just a shame that the company had to change directions completely. I was reading through the filings and it appears that it was a really unexpected change of direction for the company. I imagine without the development of the new product to replace the old one we'll see a name change soon enough.
I think it would help if the company put out a PR. They definitely need to give some more updates on the oil fields. That is important. With some news the company could see some solid movement.
The volume really isn't that bad. If you look at the dollar volume you'll see that it has actually traded quite a bit today even with the downtrend. I wish it was going up right now, but at least we're churning through a lot of the junk shares.
I think the only issue with finding a new manufacturer is going to be ensuring that they can legally create the product without violating any patents.
I agree. I think it was more confusing than anything. Most of the time there is a defined link between company businesses so this was just a bit confusing at first. But it looks like the move was made out of necessity as the company's core product they distributed was no longer available.
Alright, after a little more research I found out what happened with the medical side of the business. Apparently the company that they were distributing products for has basically one out of business. I guess this is the reason why they had to change up the business model to oil/gas. It appears that the company is still looking to build up the business through funding by the president. They are seeking a manufacturer to make a similar product.

I am finding it quiet across all the boards... and stocks are being sort of calm as well. Figures, last week stuff was interesting and I was busy... this week I'm not as busy and everyone else is gone, hahaha.
Would be nice to see it not only tighten, but move up. We have seen a pretty wide expanse on the PPS today. Would be nice to see it go back up to the HOD. I don't know how much it would take to get there, but it would be nice to actually get there.
Looking at the filings the company talks about the medical devices so it sounds like they were still in that business as of March, but I don't know how they got into the oil market. That's the part that doesn't make the most sense to me. I like that they did it. I just don't understand how it came to be as of yet.
That's a good question. I do see what you are talking about on pink sheets. I know that there was a PR about the company taking a new direction. I wonder if the new direction meant that they were going to get into oil/gas. I know a lot of companies in the pinks will simply place a new asset in their company so that they can move forward when their current business plan isn't working. This could be the case here. It doesn't change much except that I do believe the oil/gas is a better move.
I guess the selling isn't done. I'm curious to see how many shares are available for sale right now. It would be nice to see it uptrend and starting going green. Right now we're seeing too much sideways trading.
I would definitely like to see some news. They could have used something today to help give it a boost, but the world doesn't always operate as effectively as we want.
I like the share structure. It looks reasonable for the price point. But they really need to get those wells producing. Right now there are a lot of sideline investors. With those wells producing it could make a major difference.
Morning Grinch! It has been a VERY quiet morning so far.
Thank you sir! I don't know if they have an operational website or not. I looked at pinksheets and here is what I found:
http://www.isourcecg.com/
But if you go to that site it looks like it is a consulting firm. I imagine they handle the IR for the company. The only other website that I see is www.quadenergy.ca which I believe is for the acquisition. So I don't know if the core company has a website or not.
I don't know the history of the management as a whole. I'm more of a momentum player to be perfectly honest. I do however like the prospects. I analyze the hell out of companies and sometimes they work out great, sometimes they don't work out at all. The thing I like here is that they have 11 new wells that need to be brought online that will bring instant revenue by the sounds of it. This is a good thing. It creates a solid revenue base that will keep the company liquid. Once this happens it should be MUCH easier down the road.
Also, you should consider becoming the moderator here. I think it is important to have someone with a bit of history behind the board. That always helps.
I am surprised a little bit here. I like the dollar volume today but I really don't know what to think about how it is trading overall. I understand there are things that are in the works, but I'd like to see a little green as well. Once those wells get going I have no doubt that the company will make good revenue and that we'll see the PPS follow... but it would help to create a solid base to move up from.
Are these wells inside of Calgary? Where are they located? I know that Canada has HUGE oil shale deposits but how are they with actual oil and gas? I lived in Alaska (hence the name) and I know that there's a ton of oil up there so I imagine it would be similar in Canada, but this is pure speculation more than anything.
Amazing. We have good rhythm going and then we get knocked back down. Hard to get traction that way. Hopefully we'll see the selling stop just as we have upward movement. Mostly buys so far today. I never understood the need to dump on the bid when a stock is moving up.
Morning all! Just grabbed some HHGI today. Hopefully that will be a good one this week. I'm liking my chances there. I'm loaded up on EMXC as well. Lets see what happens.
It is doing a lot of sideways trading right now. The volume is pretty good if you think about it. You just can't look at the number of shares traded, you have to think about the dollar amount traded. That's a pretty nice chunk of change if you ask me. We are going to need to see a lot more to move up but that's a pretty good volume base to start with.
I have been going back through some of their past PRs and it sounds like the company really does have a lot going for it. It is obviously a development stage company but they could generate some good revenue if they put a little work into it.
