“ It takes 10 years to be an overnight sensation”.
Go KBLB
You beat me to the punch Truth 2.0.
I was just about to post that one.
I’m looking forward to hearing more news with the US military in the future.
Thanks for posting that hope. I have never seen it before.
Good one! lol
Maybe someday Kraig Biocraft will be included on this page?

My thoughts exactly
Can’t get that song out of my head now.
Think technical textiles. And the future of technical textiles!
Banana, we are of a generally similar mind regarding this company and have been invested about the same amount of time. Maybe I have been here just a little longer as I bought my first few shares at .01 and some .02s before the big announcement with Notre Dame. I added several shares on the way up after the news that were much higher. After that I only accumulated more when there were extreme dips in the price during panicked “blood in the streets” like selling. I bought big, at least for me, on these lower outlier points consistently lowering my pps through the years. Had I not done that I would be buying big in our current range of pricing however I am now holding more shares than I ever thought I would so I will just hold pat at this point. Like you I have never sold one share. Unlike you I am not necessarily absolutely waiting on a buy out. I will hold a core number for that eventuality. When I can make 10 to 20 times my money I may have to let a few go. There are many who will think this is ridiculous but they will not be the ones who are smiling when the dust settles. My confidence in this company and its CEO was strengthened in a very tangible way years ago when I attended the trade show in Atlanta and was actually able to hold monster silk cocoons in my cupped hands and have a face to face conversation with Kim. He will make it happen! IMO By the way, our silk is “silkier than silk” for damn sure!
When our caterpillars arrived in Vietnam my enthusiasm became and remains a 2.0 status. ;)
I’m looking forward to that meal
Ray, sometimes you just crack me up man.
Yes Laker. I saw that as well. KBLB could transform all sports garments in my opinion. I also saw a commercial for very soft sheets called Sheex. Looks like they will make a ton of money. We could also set a new standard for that market with silk sheets that are “silkier than silk”. Not to mention undergarments of all kinds for the planet. I wonder how big that market is?
how true!!!!
Who knows? Maybe they will announce that they like the shoot packs so much our contract is getting another digit?
“There is mania, prosperity. There is prosperity and tomorrow. Traditional occupation of silkworm raising can not be outside that indispensable rule. But, the fresh wind has returned, so that there are people who love their homeland, miss the silk but turn back to restore. Here, one can dream of a golden day of Quang origin silk, when the silk squares are "flying" out of the Vietnamese border to international friends with the cultural crystallization and pride of a Vietnamese beauty. “
I find myself oddly aroused by this paragraph.
Great post! I’m putting that one on my list of Golden Bananas.
“They are real, and they are spectacular.” ;)

Kraig Biocraft Laboratories Inc (OTCMKTS:KBLB) bounce back after a minor correction has received a significant boost. The delivery of two shipments of Spider Silk Technology into Vietnam is the latest catalyst strengthening investor confidence in the stock. The stock has since resorted to trading in an uptrend after a period of consolidation followed by a selloff.
KRAIG BIOCRAFT PRICE ANALYSIS
Kraig Biocraft Laboratories could be in for an impressive run in 2019 given the milestones it continues to achieve with its revolutionary silk technology. Price action indicates the stock could be on its way back to last year highs as the uptrend continues to gather pace.
Investors have already reacted to the new technology pushing the stock up the charts on the belief that the technology will be a key driver of value going forward. The stock has already breached the $0.05 mark, a critical resistance level, opening the door for it to make a run for last year highs of $0.07.
KBLB Daily Chart
A rally followed by a close above the $0.07 level should reaffirm the uptrend, opening the door for the stock to register a new 52-week high. After the recent spike, the stock faces immediate support at the $0.05 mark. Any selloff followed by a close below the $0.05 mark could give short sellers a reason to push the stock lower as part of the emerging downtrend.
ABOUT KRAIG BIOCRAFT LABORATORIES
Kraig Biocraft Laboratories casts itself as a leading developer of spider silk-based fibers. The company leverages recombinant DNA technology to come up with protein-based fibers for commercial applications in the technical textile and specialty fiber industries. Its products find application in the military and police service for ballistic protection as well as in industrial applications.
SPIDER SILK TECHNOLOGY DELIVERY
The delivery of the first two shipments of the spider silk technology into Vietnam is a development that has ones again reaffirmed the company’s growth prospects. The delivery is a culmination of five years of work as well challenging negotiation with the government of Vietnam.
According to Chief Operating Officer Jon Rice, commercialization of the powerful technology marks an important milestone in Kraig Biocraft Laboratories business plan
“To our long-term shareholders, who have taken this journey with us, as well as our team in the US and Vietnam, who have worked tirelessly to make this dream a reality, I cannot thank you enough. As we start the New Year, full of new opportunity, we truly have something incredible to celebrate,” said Mr. Rice.
SCALING UP PRODUCTION
The new spider silk technology should allow the company to be at the center of the ongoing evolution in the silk industry. In a bid to spearhead the revolution, the company is in the process of setting up a 46,000 square feet production facility in Quang Nam Province in Vietnam.
Kraig Biocraft Laboratories has already laid the groundwork for the proposed Vietnamese silk production initiative. The company is to collaborate with the Institute of Biotechnology and Vietnam Sericulture Research center to test the first ever spider silk silkworms produced in Vietnam. According to CEO, Kim Thompson, Vietnam is an ideal location for the proposed silk factory given its massive silk infrastructure and production capacity.
“The silk experts of the VSRC, working in partnership with members of our Prodigy Textiles team, will give our expansion in Vietnam a strong foundation. That expertise, combined with IBT’s facilities and capabilities, should pave the way to success, for this first-of-its-kind effort, and translate into a smooth production scale up,” said Mr. Rice.
In addition to Vietnam expansion, Kraig Biocraft Laboratories has started to scale up the production of second-generation Dragon Silk back at home. The production team has already raised tens of thousands of new transgenic silkworms at the company’s production facility in Michigan.
The company has also laid the foundation for the development of new specialty threads that will blend the performance of spider silk with other traditional materials. The ultimate goal is to come up with threads and fabrics for the performance wear and other market segments.
WHAT NEXT FOR KRAIG BIOCRAFT LABORATORIES
2019 could as well be a pivotal year for Kraig Biocraft Laboratories after years of investment on the new spider silk technology. The company is ready to commercialize products from the new technology as it continues to revolutionize the silk industry.
Setting up a production facility in Vietnam all but affirms a breakthrough on large-scale commercialization of spider silk. Strengthening investor confidence in the stock thus does not come as a surprise as most of them remain optimistic of the company’s ability to generate significant value from its new technology. That said Kraig Biocraft looks like an interesting investment as it continues to bounce back after a minor pullback.

Good eye es1!!!
I imagine some of the deep pocket investors who have been backing the goo silk competitors are scratching their heads and thinking about diversifying and hedging their spider silk portfolios and considering climbing aboard the KBLB ship and sailing with the winner. I bet they will be some of the first to be buying in big time. Bring on the volume!
I could not agree with what you said more yank! Great song reference. Here is another that is apropos:
Excellent ray. Another great post.
I love it when a plan comes together! KBLB will continue to make the future in the lab as Vietnam and Prodigy process our technology into cash! $$$
Yes Red. Time to get them while they are cheap! Glad I have been doing that little by little for so long.
I’m looking forward to some interesting PRs.
It is a good time to keep an eye out.
Good to see you looking.
I understand your nostalgia Truth. I am holding some of those still and also my archival .0118s from 2010.
Thanks for posting that Truth.
I liked this part as well:
“We expect this new strain will play a critical role in our expansion and commercialisation of spider silk far beyond the market for bulletproof vests.”
Thanks eagle eye first mike.
Great to see a real world valuable post on this board . Thanks.
Yes, if the army takes the next step with this company it will be huge!
Right you are my friend! PPS was initially spinning its wheels and is now getting a little traction. Rock On KBLB!!!!
“Get them while they are cheap!”
Thank you for your kind words and for moving on. Good luck

The US Army began testing the "Spider-Man" body armor material from the transgenic silkworm
The UK Daily Mail website published a report on August 20th entitled The US Army began testing bulletproof spider suits with materials that are stronger than steel.
The US Army began testing new spider suits and body armor.
This bulletproof suit is made of a material called a dragon filament (a panel-like flexible fabric) that will be tested for critical soldier protection applications including ballistic impact.
The manufacturing company of the product claims that this is one of the most sturdy materials known to man and is produced using genetically modified silkworms.
The US biotechnology company, Craig Biotechnology Lab, disclosed that it had delivered the first samples to the US military.
The company said: These samples will be evaluated to determine their effectiveness in intercepting bullets in order to provide our combat personnel with a lighter, more comfortable alternative to traditional protective clothing.
Long silk is a genetically modified spider silk that mimics the strength and toughness of natural spider silk, but can be produced in large quantities by the company's specially cultivated silkworms.
The transgenic silkworm has been developed as a direct replacement for traditional silk production infrastructure, producing more than 150,000 tons of silk per year.
The company says the resulting spider silk is very flexible, more comfortable, and provides the wearer with greater mobility and flexibility.
Jean Rice, chief operating officer of the Craig Biotechnology Laboratory, said: After years of research and investment, we have developed this breakthrough technology, and now we can see that the US military uses this technology, we very happy.
He said: For me personally, and for the company, it is a great honor to have the opportunity to help protect the warriors who are dedicated to defending the people.
The company is preparing to open a production plant in Vietnam to greatly expand the production capacity of Longsi and many other spider silk products.
The spider silk is very strong and theoretically provides a lighter and more flexible ballistic protection than traditional bulletproof clothing such as Kevlar.
It is well known that spider silk has superior strength, flexibility and ballistic resistance, but it turns out that it is impossible to raise a large number of spiders for production, because spiders usually kill each other.
The Craig Biotechnology Laboratory says that transgenic silkworms are more practical and can produce more of this material.
The company said it has applied for patents for a number of genetic proteins that are subsequently implanted in silkworms for the production of body armor. (Compile / Emei)
I agree Bob! Hopefully the share price will begin to reflect the company’s accomplishments to date, let alone the massive leaps forward we seem to be on the cusp of regarding the United States military and initial production in Vietnam. I think our buying strategies have been similar over the years and we will soon enjoy significant rewards for believing in the company during the rough patches and acquiring on the dips in PPS. “The future is so bright, I got to wear shades”. :)
Sorry for the typo ray. What I meant to say was, I like your style.
Do you like your style ray.
