P*C*X*C*Q tomorrow unsecure debt committee assignment, 8K etc... probably bullish outcome... 3rd red day today just power hour went red to green... bonds trading well too. Took half long. Likes to do weak opens so prolly add half tomorrow after open/morning dip if all looks good...

Company pulled a BK to spin back some of post-retirement benefits to BTU and cash out on some of the heavier burden mines as well as negotiate some of the union costs, environmental and health liabilities... Then you can bet it is a good candidate for acquistions etc. CEO didn't just burn his own $1.2-$1.4M stake for kicks. Once these are underway, you can bet commons are fine because A will be L.

However, until more data on mines/union status and vested vs unvested retirement situation - you won't see the hedgies and big timers dive in. Also 90M+ common shares ain't bad at all...

Before we get there, time for that next relief rally enough consolidation... :)

I see what you mean. I'm thinking given the coal demand in Europe they just might have had an easier time bringing EU coal contracts/prospect to the table as future of business and the international banks use that to finance based on euros.

Also loan rate is most likely as decent as it is because they are taking out monies like a consumer would against a house they already own... In their case assets are over liabilities hence a good rate.

We know some 30+% of the shares were accum'd this week by an entity. If there was a reason for it shake any at all, I wouldn't be fooled by it. I would grab more cheapies. Just size getting worked out. The day traders havent done much of anything yet either. When you see that volume hit over 50M this week in single day you'll know it's on.

Once the accum is done by the particular entity behind it, hedge funds will start coming in and the entity who did the accum will start moving the shares over to big buyers open market and hence the second run up / gap fill will occur. PPS always gets run up before such see how we went to 2.50 right before BK. Coincidence? LoL. AAMRQ pulled a rally to 1.25 and funny enough where it ended up long term right about .50ish so for any big move VWAP say targets at capturing and avg cost for the big hands at about less than half of the move breadth. So whatever the highest pps is once this runs over a 3 day period - I would shoot to keep my avg less than half for anything long term however it will still roll back at half of even that the week or two after the big run up.

PCXCQ doesnt have as many shares as AAMRQ did and that too makes me think it could be an explosive move. 90M shares at 30 cents is barely 30M a joke for big money.... Serious fun coming to this stock.
