Hi Steve, I think the S&P will follow NASDAQ, NASDAQ has been leading the major market direction for years.
I think $SPX is heading to 1250.
If the $SOX doesn't join the rally, we won't have any rally. The semiconductor industry doesn't look like it would have nice earnings.
I don't see that we are heading higher.
I don't expect any big move from here as well, maybe when QQQQ drops below the low, another sell off will be triggered.
We are having a diverging market, I'm clueless, but as you know I'm always bearish LOL. I won't be bullish until I see a massive washout to reflect the true economic situation. That probably means a depression, worldwide.

I've read the most recent and the oldest article from the author, not saying I completely agree with his view, but my understanding to the current economic situation is clearer than ever.
I'm pretty certain that I would see a depression at least once within my lifetime. I need a solution to protect myself, especially when I mainly hold USD to trade...
I'm inclined to maintain a short bias for Monday and Tuesday. Anything longer than that, I don't know...
The market had done some destruction, why would it go back up to repair the destruction right away? My take would be, if it's a bullish scene, it needs to consolidate around here for a while, most likely that would happen in the end of the year.
Meanwhile, I'm still trying to figure out what to do in the "up and coming "depression...
