I was thinking the same, but you do a good job, so no worries. I think it is a conflict with the prime rule of time travel. Don't interfere with the time line and change events of the past.
All of our prior messages about this have been deleted. So, no fault on him.

Yay!
Hiding...behind the big .45
I think it is HUGE that they can show a net profit. I work for a small construction company that filed BK back in the late 90's and even though we had huge sales numbers due to the construction boom in the Silicon Valley, it took us years to finally show a profitable month.
So kudos Chemtura! Exceptional!
I've got the feeling that the selling is over and we will never see a price of $0.50 again. Just my opinion of course.
I know what you mean...I own 124,000 shares.
Gosh, I hope you are right...
I just picked up another 20k @ .50. It was really hard to get my order filled. There were a couple of trades at .49 and I still didn't get mine. But it's all good now.
Hey, it really doesn't matter with CEMJQ. I only have a problem with the pullbacks here, as it is rather boring to watch and one doesn't have anything to brag about. In the long term, we all know where this is going.
What I had in mind was a signal saying "sell, sell, sell...this one is going to crash..."
The volume today is really nice, just not the direction of the price change. I hope this won't trigger the wrong signals.
Maybe we won't quite make it to .80 today. We should be lucky if we can hold .60.
I hope they're done now and we can move up again.
Someone seems desperate to get rid of their shares...I wish I had money to buy them now...
I bet a some investors are thinking about moving CEMJQ profits into ABWTQ. Not me...
I'll have some funds new available soon. I'll put that money into Abitibi, but I won't sell a singe Chemtura share.
Power hour!!! Wohooo...
WOW! What a morning...
Where is Abitibi headed? What are your predictions for the PPS at the end of this year and in 12 months from now?
THANK YOU TURBO!!!
This will be printed and framed...
I am getting a similar feeling. If the buying pressure remains as strong as it was today, we might see the $1 this week. If this happens, and we don't get a massive selloff at that level (which I doubt), then we might just see the $2 by the end of this month. All in my opinion, of course.
Thank you! Unfortunately, all my money is tied up in CEMJQ, so I can't afford a paid membership on IHUB.
Since you guys have kept everything, do you happen to remember in which post that picture was that shows a beach with a sign " for CEMJQ Millionaires only" (or something like that)? I can't find it any more.
I think I need to finally print that out and have it nicely framed. Better get used to that view...
2009 bonds are at $72.687 today!!!
The action in the last days reminds me so much of the action right before the run from 0.09 to 0.46. Float is VERY tight and it seems to want to run, goes up by a penny or two, but never actually has enough momo to keep running, so it comes right back down. Back then this game went on like this for about a week or two, and then it suddenly took off.
I hope this is a pattern. If so, we might see 0.80 by the end of the month.
Just to be clear, this is not Citibank (ticker: C), but it is CIT Group (ticker: CIT).
I bet if this was actually Citibank, the feds would jump through hoops to bail them out...
Bond price is back up to $59.00.
Finally, there has been a bond transaction again this morning, the first one since 7/10. The latest price is $58.50, up from $56.75.
I would consider myself an almost average US resident (well except that I have 3 kids and pay way too much interest on my mortgage), and my tax rate is nowhere close to 35%. Last year my effective tax rate was like 2.1%, so I am in the 15% bracket (after all my deductions that is). I would assume that the average american is either in the 15% or the 25% bracket.
However, after my expected CEMJQ gains, I will be wayyyy in the 35% bracket.
It is actually a little more complicated than that. The tax rate you are paying in the US depends on your ordinary marginal tax rate and the duration for which you were holding the stock you sold. If you were holding the stock for more than 1 year, and your regular tax rate is <= 15%, then there is no tax on the capital gains. If your tax rate is over 15%, the capital gains are taxed at 15%. If you were holding the stock for less than 1 year, the capital gains will always be taxed at your regular tax rate, which is at most 35%. After 2010, the long term tax rate will increase to 20%. All of this is subject to change by new legislation.
So it's all a bit of a strategic game. I am almost certain that the tax rate of my CEMJQ gains will be 15%
The numbers above only reflect the federal taxes, of course. There may be state tax on top of that, but at least that amount can be deducted from next year's income...
I am up 290% atm...no worries here. I am not selling a single share for less than a (few) dollar(s).
WOW...Wells Fargo funds bought a whole 1360 shares...good thing they don't offer fractional shares of CEMJQ...LMAO
I think a much more important event that will happen on July 15 is that the $400 million in bonds will be due. On that day we will see the true face of Chemtura. Can they pay the bonds? If so, how did they come up with the money? By that date, we should also know whether or not there will be an asset sale, because if the bonds can be paid without the necessity to sell off parts of the company, then there may not be a reason to sell anything at all.
Either way, if the bonds can be paid, we will all be rich on that day, if not, well, then we all have a serious problem.
I might as well chime in and give you my prediction on the SP:
I am 100% sure that it will change, both in a short and long term perspective.
stimmt...
Any predictions for today's close?
I know this is slightly off topic, yet still somewhat related to CEMJQ. PGPDQ reached $5 this morning...just a preview of what's going to happen to CEMJQ...
I need $6 - $8 by January 2010.
