Wow - I've been to Marbella a month ago and spent one day on the beach at pt banus right next to the Los Monteros Hotel...I didn't expect to be so close to my "long lost money"...with this given fact in mind nwol feels so real like it never did before! :)
LOL - actually a yacht drop anchor in the bay during that day and the folks went to this hotel to have dinner ...maybe it was maly! ;)
freaky stuff!
I guess a PR manager not only puts out PRs but also cares about PR in general (answer questions to investors etc etc.).
this is russia not the usa - i guess you can't compare
Please keep in mind that most mutual funds are attached to certain regulations and rules. Usually they only invest based on ratings and are not allowed to invest in unrated or high risk papers. This makes sense as they only manage the money of others (fund investors).
You'll likely never see any fund buying nwol because of the missing rating etc.
BTW - why not investing in funds instead of buying nwol? Be honest, you want to outperform the funds. ;)
PS: NWOL should get rated...but not while being a pink.
When checking the pps during the period of 1st of dec 2006 to 31st of dec 2006 it's not easy to figure out what happend.
There was a massive drop on 4th (-38%) with high volume but the price recovered quickly on 5th and 6th...I guess if anybody was informed bout the bankruptcy during that time the market should have reacted in a different way (esp. on 5th and 6th) as observed.
still the drop on 4th looks suspicious...
just my thoughts
Why do they have a clearing house then?
I'm talking bout the bankruptcy case here.
Let's not forget they have to rebuild trust...it's always better to do this step by step instead of waiting until they can drop one big final thing (which might not even get recognised because everybody is gone already).
you can!
I'm ready to accept your offer.
dont worry - it's fine for me that it will be a nwol but not a nwog share ;)
Too bad you can't buy a nwog share for 2 cents anymore! ;)
If you want to get details about the owner of the domain you can check:
http://www.nic.com/nic/whois/
I think the owner is not link to our nwol company.
Self fulfilling prophecy? ;)
Don't feed the monkey/market with your wild ideas! He might eat it. :)
Guys - I'm not saying there will be a sell off when shars will be finally released. I just wanted to point out that once shares are released for all at the same time the price might drop (thats what some at least expect) and this could cause a panic sell off...this was just to show that theres also a worst case scenario when all shares get released at the same time.
I'm not going to drop mine in any case.
Both cases could be good or bad!
Panic sell-off when all shares get released might be worse than a steady supply releasing one by one.
Imagine Maly walking down the broadway singing "New York, Neeew York"
From the PR the office at least sounds very "physical".
I really don't complain! Actually I'm pretty happy to see the latest improvments.
New York, New York, big city of dreams. ;)
Holly shit - no matter if you consider the latests prs to be good or not...but they really try hard to release a pr every second day since the R/S.
Downtown New York...this sure is in reach of some of our board members! Good stuff!
Good point eik - this would also explain the 25% discount as the bank sure likes to see high disc. rates.
cynic2005 - thanks for taking a look and sharing the results.
I haven't had the chance to take a closer look yet but 25% really seems to be very high...
In any case it might be worth waiting until we see the second report to get a clear picture how and why they worked things out the way they did.
Amazing - we gained about 200% on such a low volume - I'm sorry for all who went out before R/S...the volume we've seen during the last drop was massive.
MMs on the move ;)
2.6x2.75 (delayed data - still have no rt for new nwol)
Well - intraday those shoes have to be red today to make this work. ;)
>Pinkie still holds her bag....which doesnt match her shoes, by the way.
Brilliant! :)
You very well summarized the facts. :)
As far as i know stockcharts.com only updates once a trade is/was done.
Sounds like a possible scenario to me! :)
Not a single share traded yet today?
What about updating the frontpage? I wouldnt mind to assist but i'm not a native speaker so this might cause some issues. ;)
As i said risi - MMs propably cover markets demand with a short pos (as there still might be no shares available yet even for MMs). Also MMs usually have other restictions and maybe other timeframes to cover short pos etc.
Whenever shares are traded without having real shares the one whos selling in this case has an open short position which has to be covered after a certain time (3d in your case).
Anyway - if you expect the price to drop, shorting is the answer - if it goes wrong you'll have to cover at a higher prices - but if you are right things shouldnt look too bad.
As we see high price jumps on low volume currently and a big bid/ask spread I would be careful with whatever action you consider. Since the R/S is effective we gained almost one dollar. That's sure not what most expected - no sign of dilute yet.
2) What is the "cusip" change and how long does that take to process?
What do you mean by "cusip" change?
The cusip is just an instruments id like the isin or symbol.
3) If the free trading shares are delayed from being released, can NWOL still somehow buyback their own shares? Would that help the share price?
Obviously there are shares available - otherwise there would be no trading. MMs might trade uncovered shares (shorting in a way) - which is fine to cover the market needs shortterm.
Maly of course can buy.
4) If short positions are forced to cover, how does that work and how high could that push the share price?
This question cant be answered. Increasing demand (created by short covering) will have to face the offer side. Usually higher demand than offer results in increasing prices until demand and offer are balanced. A move in pps could force more shorts to cover and create more buying pressure. This spiral is whats called short squeeze.
Anyway, i never would consider a short squeeze. The situation is far too intransparent.
We should focus on facts - a squeeze would just be the cheery on top.
This mostly
TRUST!
Is what we need - as long as there's a lack of trust north west wont see a change in sentiment.
No trust - no money. Simple rule. Us high speculative investors dont have the powder to turn this thing around.
They have to deliver this time to show the market what to expect!
Hope Maly and friends get this point.
So now i know what you do in your backyard! ;)
The head of the pump is flipped to the side (as you can see on the pic) - i guess once the drilling is done the just have to flip it back to switch to production.

I'll go crazy if things really turn out how some of us expected and hoped.
A bunch of good PRs after the RS and things will look good - teenage fantasie time! ;)
todays share count volume is comparable to the volume we've seen before the RS panic started.
630000 pre split shares traded today
of course we can't compare the value behind shares anymore ;)
you shouldnt confront people with your teenage fantasies right now ;)
they don't want to know anything about a high pps currently.
anyway - seems like some optimism is coming back
have you ever asked yourself WHY you invested money in nwog? To get some reasonable returns or to not miss a chance on a possible multiplier?
In pinkyland the second options is what people are after - otherwise there would be no pinks. Its like diggin for gold while you never know how things end up. All you should keep in mind is that whatever stock you pick - in the end its also about luck if you want to leave with a smile on your face.
It really makes no sense to complain about companies which not deliver what you expect (i bet you know how the pinks work) - life could be far easier if you just stick to other sorts of investments in this case.
You are looking for a solid company to invest? Go find some listed on other exchanges which required frequent reporting.
I know lots of people pumped a good stake of money into nwog shares and are down now - but you can't tell me they didn't know about the risks.
true true - but maybe a couple of days with movement like today and yesterday help us to stop the downtrend and calm down people again
why complaining while we are gaining?
Read their recent PR - maybe you'll get a clue - we dont know anything...all we do is speculate.
One guy on a german board - yesterday.
