So where is Veno coming from in this quote: "He said no to a RS until the company was on its feet...veno" That sure makes it sound like Dean has mentioned a RS happening at some point. This has me disturbed.

I don't remember in the conference call him saying a RS could be when the company is on its feet. Any information appreciated.....I remember coming out of the last conference call pleased that we wouldn't be seeing a RS. Am I missing something??????

I've held onto this stock for multiple years now and I'm really starting to feel scammed. I've kept hoping everything would pull together but it's delay after delay. And, Veno, don't tell me that ONEV has no control over SOME of these delays - I'm at my wits end and have too much invested (and lost) to bail. No revenue mentioned, thus no increase in pps. With all I've lost, all I can do is keep a glimmer of hope that I haven't been scammed but it sure doesn't look that way! Dean is getting his 400K/year salary and this stock barely treads water. I hope something will prove me wrong!

Veno, can you please explain the loss of 3 rural carriers? I've been out of the loop awhile and was unaware of this loss. Still holding all my shares but desire an update of this situation. How "disappointing" are the 4th Q results going to be? Thanks in advance...

Little volume for just having news....hmmm

So, a little confused. MTNL news came out on 10/31 and then there was a filing 11/1 for the sale of 5 million shares for Bristol Investment Fund. The sale was for $100,000 (.02/share). The sale was on 10/31 but was filed 11/1. Could that be part of the reason why MTNL news didn't have much of an impact on the stock? Did the news come out to prevent the stock from dropping further? I hope this is not the case.

Basically, in the business world, you don't go into a venture thinking you're going to lose money. You sit down, you figure out how much you're going to have to invest to get set up; i.e. in this case what is it going to cost to set up to operations in India; what will be the costs incurred for ongoing operations, if any,; what would be the REQUIRED RETURN in order to cover these costs; in what time frame is that return expected; and ultimately, what is going to be their EXPECTED profit margin over their expenses. This is what a business does. If you don't have a solid business plan whether you're selling widgets or webkinz, you don't get funding but DO GET TOXIC FUNDING. Basically, the pr's that come out do not suggest they have a good solid business plan. The press release today says they've entered into a blind contract. They're going to have to deliver something to India. They do not have any information to suggest that they can support this investment in India from a revenue stream. Microsoft does not start into a new computer venture without some expectation of what they are going to get for return. These are the centers of their quarterly and annual statements. "We expect Vista to return xxx ". Something of this sort, to give a ballpark range, or target to be met, which seems to be a big thing with every quarter with big businesses in meeting their sales expectations, should be something we expect from a company that once ran with the big boys at $27/share. Veno, I would think with your investments in this company, you'd want to know they're going to get something back from India and can actually operate in the black before they spend money on the India project.

Why can't any of these PR's have $$ figures?? Yeah, Yeah, I've heard with Telnor, "it's not in ONEV's hands to release information". Well, ya know, it's not just Telnor.....it's been ONEV's story with every PR. There is never any meat attached to their PR's. Maybe their PR people are to blame? Maybe ONEV itself for allowing the PR people to be so lame? Alot more information is needed in these announcements. This should be a good thing but people want $ information, period, and ONEV isn't delivering!

Like always, no mention of $$. Good news but we need $$ details!

With supposedly nohing significant in the next report, how can you still believe in .50? Can you spell it out for us because I just don't see it. Without any revenue mentioning pr's, this isn't going anywhere that I can tell. Say we get one of the pr's besides Mexico that people are touting, again, without revenue being mentioned, I just don't get .50

Hey, Veno has been awesome in all the DD he has done. However, I feel as though he often bashes at anyone who dares to question anything about ONEV. If it's not 100% pro ONEV, he sarcastically shoves it down our throats. Even execs in their own companies question their choices, which is a healthy thing to do when you're running a company, so why can't an investor in this company do the same? A company isn't going anywhere if it can't take CONSTRUCTIVE criticism which many of us give. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of bashers here but the ones who contribute constuctive criticism are bashed just as harshly as those who truly bash. Again, I'm very thankful for all the DD but let's not look at ONEV through rose colored glasses 100% of the time.

Very good point Gannent. I didn't take into full account what advertising may be seen on TV or heard on radio in the area. Another good point, "the proof will be in the 10Q and K over the next six months." Like all here, I am just very anxious for some news. Thank you for responding in a professional manner.

back to school ads ALL summer with no Iris mentioned in those ads and then JUST 2 weeks of Iris ads and you ask "you are upset because"..... am I missing something??? Please, I am pro ONEV - these are valid questions and just wondering what others opinions are. Don't need the sarcasm. Can we just act civilized people??

Please, Veno, don't take this as a negative toward ONEV. I am just concerned that the back to school ads on telnor.com were up forever! Iris only lasted a couple of weeks! If there is another product that is coinciding with Iris, why not have an ad on their site that flashes back and forth between each product? Why choose to only show the 'Sin Limite' now? Many retailers flash different ads every few seconds on their website. Again, don't lash out at my concerns, these are valid questions. Thanks in advance for your opinion(s).

Dumotier21, thinking about it, you're right. ONEV shouldn't have issued the 9/21 fluff update. I agree, the mood would be so upbeat now if they had said nothing given what we're hearing from Mexico. But, the damage is done and I just think ONEV needs to do some damage control. The communication issues really hurt ONEV. If ONEV doesn't have a firm date, agreement or monetary fact, NOTHING at all should be said. JMO

Dumotier21, okay, I can see what you're saying. However, couldn't ONEV have issued an update when it was made public down in Mexico that the launch would occur before the 8th and not this week as we were led to believe? ONEV's last update said next week (meaning this week). I think I'd feel more confidence if they came out and said it could be as late as October 8th. May not seem like a big thing but at least it shows that even though we know Mexico is calling the shots for the launch, ONEV is still showing good faith to their stockholders. COMMUNICATION! It's a big sore subject with me and ONEV. JMHO

Onevdinger, not only has this week been mentioned as a launch but also Oct 8th (also in writing). We've also heard last week, etc. etc. etc. Hey, I'm as long as most here but I'm totally FRUSTRATED - can't buy the fact that Dean doesn't know for sure when this thing flies. I don't buy that Mexico is so hush hush that not even the inventor, Dean, doesn't know. Why publish anything at all if timelines can't be met?
