Anybody know if options are being sold on MXXR?

Anybody hear any word on the % ownership from IR?

I sent an email to IR. I thought that brisk 400K string of purchases today was suspicious. Maybe now we know why. I will respond when (if) I hear back. Others who have a better relationship with MXXR IR should email them too, as they might recieve quicker responses.

Plus we purchased our original portion long before August 29th.

We purchased 42% of Buck Snag from THXE on August 29th? We had 57% previously. Does that mean we own 100% of Buck Snag now? Am I getting this right?

It would be nice to see an updated balance sheet. Last Q this time last year cam out Sept. 5th. I'm not a pro balance sheet reader but it looks like Matrixx has had more assets than liabilities since Dec. 05. For some reason I thought we were still in debt over our heads. Guess not. :)

It is pleasing to me to see that there are few if any posts on this site regarding doomsday scenarios. Such are the kind that make owners of stocks and markets sell at the exact low. That has always been the way of syndicates, spread the news of impending pass of the dividend, and impending bankruptcy right before buying a tremendous line from the last sellers. Daniel Drew was famous for this with Erie stock, and in 1885 Worthington Fowler finally figured this out (helped by the advice of Colonel Smith) and bought a 1000 at 3, before writing 10 years on Wall Street in 1887. At the same time the chronic bear and ghost Jacob Little rushed from Trinity Church to New Street to short himself to his oblivion with the same stock ... The same thing of course happens today with the markets. Right when we are hearing the most about how interest rates could never fall because Bernanke has to prove himself, or how SARS is going to destroy us all, how housing prices are going to rise 10% or oil go above 100, war in the Middle East is going to escalate, bombers are arrested in England, the President's popularity is at a new low, the Democrats are going to sweep the electorate, individual stocks are going up only on hype and there is chronic unemployment in factories in Bethlehem; that is the time to buy, especially if the market has not gone up in a few years, and stock rate returns are 3 or 4 percent above bond yields.

Thank goodness, I try not to allow such a coloring of the news from ghosts and fellow travelers of the modern day syndicates to populate this site. You see, I would be doing you a big disservice because you might think that there is more of a chance of doomsday now than any other time during the last 100 years when stocks went up 10,000 fold. If it were more likely, you would have to figure out whether that was bullish or bearish or whether it had been discounted, or whether there was anything on the other side that was more relevant.

I have tried gentlemen to provide an agenda for you free of propaganda, devoted to self improvement and an optimistic view of life that takes account of the resilience of the economy, the infinite nexus of connections that keeps the flow of capital and goods going, and that takes account of the regularities between the shares of wealth, the Gini coefficients if you will, between those who take on risk and those who are indirect second-handers for the big traders trying to get you on the wrong foot so that they can quietly cover their positions at the bottom.

Hopefully, it has not all gone in one ear and out the other.

I just feel bad RB will now be used only as a weapon against us. I'm thinking about coming up with some kind of "form letter"--short and sweet I can just post blindly over there every hour or so. Yes. Take the gas now. Get return on investment. Re drill for oil closeby a little later. If oil is down there, and it's a good bet it is, it isn't going anywhere. They will be able to get at it from another well a short distance away. Wells don't have to be strictly vertical anymore. They can have angles, curves, you name it. This does not mean they're "giving up on the oil." This means they're being smart buisinessmen.

I have posted over and over that a good gas well is far more profitable than an equivalent oil well because of the production costs. Don't get me wrong, oil is good to, but it's like buying a gold mine and only finding platinum.

Thisdoesnotwork. Read his past posts here on RB. He has bashed every stock he has posted about. He says he is loaded with shares but is more than willing to attack anyone who has something positive to say and keep spreading his scare tactics. Many others besides myself have gone out and independently verifed what I have said. No one has backe up Thisdeosnotwork. Being a smartass doesn't help your case, Cardinal. I have asked you honest questions that were presented in an honest way. You refused to answer them and instead try to hide behind smart comments. There were some investors here who might have thought that you were actually long MXXR and were just posting some honest concerns. Now however, you have lost all credibility here. There is no reason at all not to believe you are anything other than a basher, who is either being paid to bash, or are attempting to lower the price of MXXR so you can buy in cheaper. I have given you an oppertunity to prove otherwise, but you treated it like a joke. I'm afraid you have lost all credibility here. Your effectiveness as a basher has gone to zero, and it is a direct result of your actions.

Cardinal, if you're not going to answer my question, I can only assume the answer is "no." So although you appeared to want to illuminate the things that could possibly go wrong here, in order to help us make better investment decisions, it seems now that that is not the case at all. If I am wrong, I hope you will correct me. If I'm not, again I ask you, why post these things here? There are over 10,000 stocks traded in America alone, there must me a few thousand boards here on ihub. I'm sure there must be other boards where people are posting positive messages about their investments. Do you scan all the boards here on ihub daily and try to help all of us see what we might not want to? Is that what you have decided to do with your life? If so, I commend you, but your lack of being fourthcoming about it makes me think this is not what you're about at all. As I said before, if I am wrong, please correct me. Your silence only makes you seem more and more suspicious.
