Happens all the time Igloo. Stocks run up prior to the news being released and then drop back after the announcement. The increase should be greater based on the volume.
Happens all the time Igloo. Stocks run up prior to the news being released and then drop back after the announcement.
Someone always knows ahead of a press release. Looks like it may be good news based on volume and share price.
I get an uneasy feeling as well with this dragging on. At least they didn't announce the results at 6:00pm on Friday. Who knows, maybe the increase in shares traded and slight increase in stock price means someone knows something positive.
On Wednesday, December 22 Nature's Call announced they had collected samples from the Los Amoles property for analysis. They went on to say the analysis would be completed and the results announced within 3 weeks (Jan. 12). Therefore, we should know by Wednesday if this property contains sufficient gold to warrant production. I am a little worried as someone usually knows something ahead of time and will drive the price up prior to the announcement. Hope I'm wrong.
I haven't posted often over the past 5 years but when I did I was critical of Y. Shoham not releasing financial and sales numbers. I never thought he would release sales figures because he thought it a private company being public only for raising capital.I must be fair and admit my suspicions were wrong and commend Y. Shoham for today's announcemet stating financial reports will be issued quarterly starting in 2011. This is huge in my mind for two reasons. It will bring legitimacy to the company as it will tell investors where the company stands financially as well as holdings of assets and property. Secondly it tells me the company now has sufficient revenue to warrant quartely reports. We must also remember Y. Shoham's statemet made several times that tis company has no debt which is remarkable for a relatively new business. This is the news I've been waiting for for a long time.
I agree Bulldog. I can go into the store that is going to carry it and see who it is so why are they always so evasive in providing details. It really lessens the effect of the PR.
No, but it sure kicks the hell out of the pps when the buyer unloads them.
Demmo, I don't have private messaging and I don't know how to appeal my banned message. I have fears about the objectivity of this board because my message was not inflammatory at all. In, fact I may be mistaken but I don't see the Emily09 message that I referenced. Scary.
Well Fadi, let's hope that Y. Shoham provides more detail in this imminent ground breaking announcement than he has in past pr's, otherwise the effect on the stock price will be negligible.
If I understand your message #11007 correctly, you are a recent newcomer to this stock whereas I've owned it for almost 3 years. We'll see how understanding you are after 3 years if this stock continues with this pattern of vague press releases which usually adversely affect the stock price.
Also, all I simply said in my first posting was that I did not believe this stock will rise any great degree without financial disclosure and I stand by it. Enough said.
I know the company does not have to issue financials as a pink stock. However, I have investments in other pink stocks that do issue financials. I can understand not issuing them when the company is building sales with weak revenue. However, I believe sales are now at a level with Identa that financials could be released which would help the stock price.
I also take issue with your statement that they won't issue them because they don't have to. That's crap. It is still a publicly traded company and regardless of legalities, there's no reason to withhold overall financial statements
I have owned this stock for three years and will continue to hold it but I hope they don't continue to follow your logic as that's why the stock price has remained stagnant for so long.
This press release, like most others, is too vague. Identa sold some of this to this country and some of that to that country but no specifics as to quantity or value. While I realize they will not provide numbers to individual sales, a financial statement showing total sales and dollar value would give investors an idea as to the status of this company. We do not know if revenue is $500,000. per year or $50,000,000. per year. This stock will continue to languish until more detailed information is provided.
As to Identa being an Israeli company, it doesn't mean a damn thing.
Hey Rich,
Whatever the reason it is very disappointing to see no advance in share price after the advancements this company has made over the last 3 years. Let's hope it soon breaks.
That last game was certainly a nail biter. It's quite humourous that Sidney is the national hero after scoring the overtime goal. They were ready to skewer him if they lost because he didn't have, in their minds, a great series. Such a fickle bunch.
I've owned this stock for over three years and it's the same pattern. There is a pr announcing pending sales or sales and everybody has to get out their pen and paper to figure out the number of units and the valus thereof. We are selling to many countries and are the only source of detectors in many of them and yet we languish at less than .004. The whole stock market is driven by money and we never know the value of these contracts. We need meat an potatoes in these announcements and not just the fluff. If there are no numbers attached to the pending American DOD contract, I doubt we will see .01 per share. Also, there is never a financial report so we don't know if the company is millions in the hole or is in the black. I do know we're always in the dark. Such a pity.
Jeez Rich, I don't know. He must be close to breaking even re: revenue vs expenses. Hopefully Mike will get some info on that. By the way, I hope you're DD'ing Winning Brands. It's gone up from .005 to .0175 in the past two weeks. As I said, it resembles Identa in that it has great products and is breaking into new markets which is being reflected in the stock price. You can access the bullboard here on Ihub.
Hi Mike,
Perhaps you could ask YS the following question the next time you're talking to him. Will he have to issue more shares or is revenue now sufficient to fund operations and expansion? I figure it must be getting close for the company to carry itself and, if so, I think we've seen the end of the pps drop with new announcements.
Thanks,
Ernie D
I understand what you're saying Richie but I simply said I appreciate Mike's posts since YS leaves a lot to be desired in the pr department.
Not at all. I simply said I appreciate Mike's posts and he stated he doesn't need this bashing when he's only trying to provide info based on his relationship with YS.
You can read into it all you want. All I'm saying is we'd be worse off without Mike and by the sound of it you'll get waht you want because he said he's backing off the bullboard.
Rich,
All I meant was that Mike gives a bit more info than is in the press releases. Hr ties things together for me. Also Rich, you should look at Winning Brands (wnbd) here on Ihub. It's a dream fit for you and is Canadian besides.
Mike.
I. for one, appreciate your input very much. You seem to be the only conduit to YS and can sometimes simplify his statements. Please don't turn your back on the board because without you I would be completely in the dark.

The manufacturing plant is mentioned in the same press release Richie in another sentence.
According to the news release the office and warehouse recently opened in Pennsylvania. Also, the new plant is to be a manufacturing, not an assembly plant.
I can understand your frustration Richie but I have to overlook all the minor irritations and see the overall progress in the areas I mentioned in my previous message as well as message 6644. I don't think it will be tomorrow but I do feel this will pay off big time at some point.
I agree madmax. I wasn't lamenting possible further dilution but pointing out it may happen with the new manufacturing facility. In fact, my message # 6644 shows I am very bullish on Identa. I see it this way; they have superior products, their own manufacturing facilities, markets in several countries and continually growinga and no debt. I know some longs are growing impatient but hold on, better days will soon be upon us.
And it will probably increase by another billion ChartTrader when they proceed with the manufacturing facility in the U.S. Yaacov spoke about in his May 14 release. Hopefully he already has the funds for it. Ah, the growing pains.
Having invested in several pinky companies, I have learned through frustration there are different types of companies starting up. The two extemes are the scams and the legitimates with a myriad in between. I have lost money on a couple of scams (Nutripure Beverages eg:) but the more interesting and frustrating are the legits. I currently hold stock in two of them, Identa and winning Brands (WNBD). Because the two of them have proceeded in much the same way (although Winning Brands is much more open) their similarities make me understand how they work which eases the frustration. Both have superior products. Both dilute their share base as a way to raise revenue. They are new companies and unfortunately this is the way they raise capital to develop and market their product. This is only logical when I think about it because being on the pinks gives them the latitude to do just about anything they want to do. Unfortunately the stockholder is not at the top of their care list. I do believe, however, that they will pay off in the future. Who knows how they will proceed when sales are such that they will no longer have to issue new shares. Will they reverse split, buy back shares or continue with a large float? Either way I am confident I will come out of them OK because they both possess superior products and that alone will ensure the success of these companies. In closing, when I get frustrated with the bs, I just realize this is life in pinky land and hopefuly the pain and frustration will be aptly rewarded. Thanks for your patience.
Great to finally see some numbers but I'm confused about the amount. Yaacov told Zirosman they're producing 4000 kits per week or 1 million per year on one shift. This works out to .50 per kit which doesn't jive with their actual worth. Either they're stockpiling them or selling them at a ridiculously low price to gain market share which I don't believe is the case.
Thanks zirosman,
You gave something concrete which I believe will increase the confidence of us shareholders. A picture is worth a thousand words.
Reading between the lines, it appears one shift is running pretty well full time which equates to 1,000,000 kits. This translates into wholesale dollar figures of seven figures. If this is the case, a financial statement would not adversely affect the stock price and, as Yaacov stated, it demonstrates a legitimate producing company which is not always the case with the pinks. One thing I'm curious about; did Yaacov say if he or one of his associates read this bullboard?
Again, thanks for the pictures and info. Maybe the pps has bottomed out.

Let the mother-in-law sleep Woodman. I don't think there will be much to wake her up for today.
Hew does not think that shares are money Orangeman. therefore they are not financing. He doesn't have to pay them back but, as he's seeing, he has to pay the price.
I'm inclined to believe him Dubi since he said thousands and not millions.
There's one mystery solved. Annual revenue is in the hundreds of thousands. Although vague as to how many, it's more than we knew before.
YS is declaring war on the manipulators. What's funny is he's issuing shares like candy. Once the recipient sells them, who knows who gets them and for what purpose. You can't have it both ways Yaacov.
Interesting take Sunchaser and I don't automatically dismiss everything you say. It sounds as if you have had some bad experiences with these people in the past and have probably lost some money. You're right that pinks are a huge risk with a better chance of losing than winning. Hopefully Nutripure is as they say it is with distribution to begin soon. If that is the case, I believe this one has a better chance of succeeding than most pinks. Perhaps they have learned some lessons along the way and are putting them to practice.
Thanks Mike. Your post speaks volumes to me as it explains why he is doing what he's doing in relation to the stock giveaway as well as the financial situation of the company. I do not think this is the way to go as it's keeping the share price down and the big question becomes how much more of it will he do? I believe this company is solid enough to obtain financing in better ways but I know in YS's mind it comes down to control which he doesn't want to give up.
Secondly, your post substantiates what i said in a previous post that he is not giving financial as well as sales information because the numbers aren't good and I believe he will when the numbers improve.
And thirdly, this is for YS. Mike's post made many things clearer to me and many other investors of this company. It didn't make us go into a depression as we are big boys and girls and just want some facts. If you disclosed financial and sales information, we wouldn't be shocked by the numbers and each subsequent release would have higher sales and revenue so we would know the company is growing and getting healthier. Remember, we own this company too and demand only facts and relevant information pertaining to it. I think, if you have one fault, it's that you don't realize the maturity of the investors of this company and we know there are growing pains with any company. Your vague promises hurt your reputation much more than low sales and revenue figures.
Thanks Rocky for the informative reply. A couple of things trouble me though. This is not the first time stock has been given to these people. Is this in lieu of salary or is it bonus money or partial payment? If it is bonus money, they may keep the stock until it rises in price. If it is partial or full payment in lieu of salary, it means the receivers sell at what they can get which will keep the stock price low. I also do not think this will be the last time this will happen. Let's hope sales will increase enough that they can pay with real money instead of issuing stock like candy which obviously keeps the stock price down and, in my opinion, jeopardizes control of the company.
Thanks Rocky. He seems intent on destroying this stock. I don't know if he's trying to avoid debt but this constant dilution is certainly not the answer. Then again, maybe they already owe a fortune. Afterall, we know nothing and wait for tidbits from Mike. Unbelievable. I also wonder who is receiving these stock payoffs and what did they do to receive them. I'm surprised anyone would take them considering where this stock is going. I don't think we have to worry about going off the pinks because this is his ticket for treating us like s_ _t. Someone said he reads these messages and gets pissed off when criticized. Well Yaacov, I'll gladly apologize if you do something to warrant it. I'm looking at losing some pretty big money on this stock and there's no need for it based on the successful launch and increased sales of the various detection kits.
Is this recent Rocky? It sounds identical to a previous release. If it is recent, it sure blows the stock repurchase plan all to hell.
Hope your right Woodman. The same thing can happen here if Yaacov would smarten up. I agree with Jovits. Sic the mother-in-law on him.
I know that Pinks are ultra high risk and most of these companies don't survive but what grates on me with this one is Identa is not going to go under but the stock will soon be worthless. I feel sorry for all investors because you did your DD and invested in a successful company but will still probably lose your money. My question is this; do we investors have any legal recourse? As risky as pinks are, there must be obligations for successful companies to honour shareholders and not steal the company out from under them. If we're going to lose everything I would like to tie the company up legally so they (Yaacov or others) don't get it either. Could action be taken in the U.S. since it is registered in Florida? or are we stuck with Israel? Don't put any credence in Yaacov's past occupation, not all police are honest.
