All I know is that Rufus is having the best time of his life in prison.
Probably was a ploy by socialists to make republicans look bad.
He was living the life of a horse breeding straight male republican.
But deep inside, he really was a donkey loving gay socialist.
That part of him was probably all caged inside and only needed a prison to release it.
Actions speak louder than words. Free food, free medical care, free housing and all the gay sex he wants.
If anything he should be paying the government to stay in prison probably because he enjoys it there.
Roofie is busy writing his book - "How to get free housing, food, and medical care for the rest of your life".
He's also stocking up on toilet paper much to the consternation of his cell mate. He wants to become a toilet paper salesman when he gets out of prison. When asked about what he uses to clean his ass when he goes to the pottie, he says that he never uses toilet paper - "It's all a scam, like the federal reserve, public court system, and eating breakfast". One thing is for sure, many people shook his hands while he was out of prison, but nobody is willing to shake his hands now.
Rufus did all this for love? And I thought he did it for the money. But I guess it makes sense. A repressive environment in the Bible belt where homosexuality is not tolerated in some circles. The only socially acceptable way out was get in prison.
44 million is pocket change to Rufus. Judging by how stingy he is with his horses, and his taste in houses, though, I doubt any of that money will be coming out to investors.
Yeah, I got that e-mail. Assuming he serves the full 23 years though, he's going to be close to 70 years old. Hardly any condition to get a job (who's going to hire him, anyway?) and pay restitution.
And just think Van der Sleuth got 28 years for robbery and murder.
I guess Rufus must have gotten a harsh judge, and pissed off and hurt a lot of people.
Knowing Rufus, if he ever gets work detail outside of prison, he'll try and run for it if he gets a chance. But he'll just add more years if he does that.
Yep, as long as the sodomites don't get him first. But since he is in for so long, maybe he might get lucky and be near a wall that is near the sewer system pipeline. It may take 20 years to dig himself out, but he can cover the hole with a Hooters poster where you know the prison guard would never check.
well, if my telepathy is any good, which btw, wasn't any good for this stock or any other stock apparently.
Rufus really misses his family. Even thinking that all the money in the world isn't worth separation from his family.
Horton is drinking himself assuming that is possible.
Stanley is trying to find a legal way out of this mess, biting the end of a pencil.
Don't know, but it probably isn't too late for them to slither on away to Slovenia, or some other far off place, where the long arm of the law can't reach them.
I actually feel kind of bad for Rufus' wife, and any children that he has. I don't know if they are 100% innocent in this. But still, you get the feeling that it was mostly Roofie that messed things up.
Maybe the Chewbacca defense? He can claim he's really an ape that has escaped from the San Diego zoo back in the 80's who's been shaving himself bald all this time. So that he needs to be placed in a zoo, not a jail cell.
Now, he just needs to really grow some hair.
He's so good, he probably conned himself as well too. Thinking the bonds were real.
Rufus is no fool, he's seeing the economic meltdown of the economy. The safest place to be is in a high security prison when chaos reigns on the streets.
He's probably writing a new book: "How to get the government to pay for free housing, medical care, and food for the rest of your life".
The only reason he might have wanted a new trial is because 30 years might not be enough for him to retire in jail. He wanted to piss a few more people off to get more jail time.
well, Utah, is the morman capital of the world. Maybe he has more than one wife? Maybe a hooters wife?
He's not poisoned. He's pregnant. All that gay sex must have finally payed off.
As far as those illegal activities are concerned - he probably was participating in them.
Prison guard were probably tired of seeing him getting it on, and so shut him up in the hole.
Hope he gets a bar of soap for christmas. Something to wash his mouth with and also to drop when he's in the showers.
Her mug shot is so ugly compared to her facepage photo though. What's the deal? Is she misrepresenting herself? Is that a pic when she was 35 or so?
Typical Rufus day:
Go to Hooters for lunch, call roto-rooters to fix his plumbing, address suiters to his investment company, give a call to his fellow stock looters to discuss business strategy. Then get some jello shooters at home for after dinner party.
Then go sleep in the closet.
Me too. I listened to my greed, and not my head. Just goes to show you that greed is a sure way to lead you into scams. Cause scammers prey on your greed or your lust, fear, other weakness to lure you in.
The big question of course is did Rufus plan to go to prison all along? After all, he said he wanted to retire because of his bad back.
He's probably laughing at all of us now and just keeping up the appearing of trying to get out of jail just so that other people will keep of his back.
And by now, I suspect he's finished filming his pet project, broke back, mount 'em 2.
He's getting plenty of meat in prison.
One thing is for sure. Rufus is a hypocrite. He claims to be a straight hooters loving republican, but he's living the life of a gay socialist.
He also claims to be rich, but suspect he's actually poor.
wow, thanks for the info
really? I traded penny stocks in 2006 and 2007 and haven't received any letters.. I had to call in for this one.
The others were scams as well too.. all of them.
all introduced by my greed and this darn website..., and my naivety.
well, I called them and it seems I wasn't listed as a victim. weird. Maybe because they didn't count the losses when this was known as FHAL. the trades I made with cshd only did show a profit. But overall, I still lost some money if you includes what I bought with FHAL. And I bought FHAL during the period July 8th, 2006 and onward period...
I still have not received my letter. I'm beginning to think it went to my old address. I'll wait one more day, and if not, then I'll contact that number.
I'm sure he's already getting nailed in prison.
I haven't received my letter yet... waiting a few more days, and then maybe I might call.
well, I've moved since this fiasco (2006)... hopefully they've got my new address from scottrade..
wonder if this list only applies to people who still own shares. I sold my shares to scottrade for a penny. Oh well...
Not to worry.. he's probably already peddling his next venture in prison. This time, however, he's using real toilet paper to write the certs on due to lack of materials.
Sure Rufus, and you were playing hide and go seek with the kids at the exact same time that the police decided to come over.
And let me guess, if you get bail, you will move to mexico or some other country where federal jurisdiction is not absolute and make the claim (legitimate or not) that you were afraid for your life from angry shareholders and so had a legitimate right to flee the country for fear for your life.
Maybe he thought that riding into the sunset was a way to escape from the law.
Hmm, wonder if they have a hooters in jail. probably not. I hope he likes the company of men a lot.
wow, having a tree right in front of your front door. Now that is definitely bad feng shui.
So, he was in the closet was he? This supports my notion that he was actually trying to film a movie "brokeback mountain 2".
Now Rufus gets to retire in jail like what he originally planned all along. The man is a genius.
The trail he left was horse droppings.
He was doing his next project - filming brokeback mountain 2 starring him of course. He was heading towards Utah to get some wide angle shots of the outback.
He'll have plenty of time to do the love scenes once he gets into prison, of course.
Looks like Rufus' plan to retire because of his bad back is coming to fruition. He wasn't sure he could get enough time in jail to retire there by just committing securities fraud. So he had to add something else as well too - evading and resisting arrest.
Looks like Rufus' plan of retiring in jail is coming along nicely.
I blame feng shui. I moved my computer to an area that implied wealth, to an area that implied financial loss. And then all this happened.
I guess the argument goes, that the woman who dresses skimpily in a dark alley deserves to get raped.
Similarly, people are responsible for the decisions they make, even if it is influenced by fraud. It is true that the fraudsters are the bigger criminals, but some blame must go to the gullible as well too.
In this particular situation, the gullible would have lost probably a similar amount of money regardless of whether or not Hunter came in and took their money or not. Yes, he did in a sense "profit" from this scam, and in a sense did take the money that was a part of the scam. But even if he did not take the money, then someone else would have taken it - perhaps the shares price might have been less volatile, or perhaps larger... hard to say.
If he is guilty of anything, it would be hurting other people's feelings... mainly by bashing everybody, including the gullible.. but otherwise, not much else.
