Or tropical storm Laura could really help by destroying golden ridge and we could collect the insurance money. Thats the only way I see these guys ever making money. All that crap they said about John Short... they did worse than he did with what they both had to start. It seems to me that just cost to much to sell rice bran.
20 years and 230 million down the drain with not 1 quarter ever making even a penny. Looks like we will be back at BK as soon as we get delisted.... again. SMH
Peter Bradley come on down your the next contestant on the sinking ship. Poor guy is like a deer in the headlights!
It looks like someone is slowly accumulating stock but doesnt want to pay up for it. Thats just an observation.
Huh it seems like maybe just maybe this wasnt a bad CC.
Yea you may be right this looks old judging from the youtu video.
I saw this but didnt get it. It may be MAYBE that this freight collector agency has something to do with this stock uptick?? Just guessing here, Im trying to get back up to speed on this one that I thought was XXXX.

CDEL is on the bid, Citadel I think.
RDX did acquire the CWT facility for I think 30 million. Which was cash and stock. Once they acquired it, Danzik said that the place was not producing like it was marketed to be. GEM said it was. The CWT plant was due to receive money from the federal govt under the renewable fuel act. Danzik was supposed to give the money to GEM but he didnt because he said the plant was not producing a renewable fuel that met federal guidelines. So the whole thing went to court, and has been there since.
Tony Ker was always there as a board member and officer. If he is keeping the name active it has to be for a reason. If this stock is going up in price its possible that Ker is going to try to take over RDX and get it up and going again. There are shares out there and there are assets associated with those shares.
Just some random thoughts and my opinion on stuff. Im not a finacial advisor either, so please do your own due diligence.
Here is the link to the website.

What about the CWT plant in Carthage they paid 30 million for? They updated the website a couple years ago but then I heard nothing.
So what are they worth is the question?
Are we suspecting a merger here?
I had a sell in for .10 but no takers. The only thing I could figure is that maybe Dennis is buying thinking he is going to win his case. They paid 30 million for CWT and I believe they still own it. What is it worth? In his lawsuit he sued for 90 million in damages also against GEM. Perhaps thats contributing? I will have to do some digging.
There was a dispute over the CWT factory after RDX took over and some tax credits. Maybe they got it ironed out?
I guess we will see.
Proof is in the pudding. Cant see any reason to buy unless you believe in a buyout or that they will actually make money. They supposedly have a new product but nothing in their news feed about it.
Been holding for 5 years also. I cant believe someone is buying this? What do they know?
I have no idea on their finances. I know they tell me all the time that its going to get better, but it never has. I dont think its going that well though if they had to get 7 million for general purposes. They should have the new plants up and running but Im not sure they have stabilization there yet. Time will tell, good luck.
If I sold I would never look at this stock again. Its really not about the money for me anymore. After bankruptcy they kept the shareholders stock instead of cancelling it. I should have had nothing but because they didnt cancel us I figured I would let it there, whats the difference at this point? Its lost money but I still learn from it daily.
This was one the first stocks I ever bought when I started trading. And as stupid as this sounds, it was and is a great learning experience. I probably know more about the science surrounding rice bran than anyone at ribt. And about bankruptcy and struggling companies. I also learned about sec filings etc. Yea it cost as much as a college course so I am not complaining.
Favorite lure red tube bait.
I dont do charts but just based on my experience with this company I would say there is a world of hurt coming my way as a bag holder for nearly 15 years. .60 though is probably gonna be a buy point for me if it gets there before the next Q. Then its just hope they can deliver one quarter of positive earnings with good guidance. Otherwise if its another disappointing Q I suspect they will go bankrupt. Or at minimum back to the OTC to continue to lose money.
Dr Merc should never be taken seriously or even listened to. Like Wow said he is a salesman trying to sell the products he is paid to pump. But so is RIBT a salesman for ADM. So they all bend the truth to some extent. Rice bran(RB) or any grain is not nescessary in an dog or cats diet. They can all live without grains. However, its not the same in humans. We do benefit from consuming RB in a couple of proven ways. Anti inflamatory, anti cancer, and cholesterol lowering effects. These are proven effects in labs. But as with all scientific work their are good and bad players, like Mercola. They will say whatever the paying person wants them to say. Plus, they focus on usually 1 aspect of the research. For instance, RB lowers cholesterol levels. This is a true statement BUT they dont worry about any other affects it might have. So in this case you are inhibiting the production of cholesterol from the liver which lowers your cholesterol levels. And that is good enough for them, they are not worried about long term use, which may or not be good, or anything else for that matter, just the provable effect.
Untreated RB not applicable, RIBT stabilizes their bran. Even when they had Irgovel and got DFRB which didnt need to be stabilized it was. If you get off smelling food check where it as manufactured. China always tries to put in chemicals that mimmick quality ingredients.
Arsenic, there are 5 types of Arsenic, 3 are organic and 2 are not. All are bad for you even though they are trying to say the organic is not as bad for you. The WHO sets limits on the total arsenic allowed but here is how they arrive at that number. They test a bunch of product and get a happy medium of arsenic levels then they bump it up a bit so that most everyone growing rice will fall under this limit, and then they call it safe. Geographically speaking not all rice is the same. So in India and China the rice is much higher in arsenic levels because of their location to natural arsenic deposits. Whereas in America the highest levels are found in Arkansas and Louisiana regions due to former use of arsenic as a pesticide. California has lower levels but has other problems associated with it, which is another topic. Also, arsenic will be more concentrated in the bran which is proven. The plant itself has learned to use the arsenic as a defense mechanism against predators.
Aflatoxins are on every single product you buy. If you check the MSDS you will see that RB has less that 10000 coliforming units. So it is considered safe. Why? Wheat flour has the same numbers. These aflatoxins are also known as enzymes. They are not bad for you in low numbers and actually quite beneficial as they are responsible for digestion of the product. Thus the reason that eating any grain ithout the bran is not good for you and will make you fat because you dont get enough of the enzymes that are responsible for breaking down the endosperm.
I was asking Wow not aroof. LOL
SO what is it worth? The company has lost money ever since it was created. Add up the assets what do you think its worth?
Hey its not Golden ridge but Impossible that just filed this patent. The only mention of rice bran is for using RBO. But not that they would use RBO just that its an option.

Um Monsanto had a stake once too? It doesnt matter though. What they are going to need is to get their new research facility going and come up with some patentable products. Everything we have is going to run out soon. Except for the one we have a joint deal with DSM.
Well the new CFO has a sentence from RIBT PR that says "the #1 ranked analyst in his sector for Stock Picking and #1 ranked analyst in his sector for Earnings Accuracy for 2014/2015 by Thomson Reuters Starmine Analyst Awards" Yep earnings accuracy. To bad we have to wait until the next Q to find out his amazing prediction for the following Q. Im no analyst but Ill go out on a limb and say it will be a loss, again.
Thanks for typing that and saving me the trouble. Totally agree. Something else not mentioned is the outstanding share count going up. And the new products that are mentioned in my opinion for the 100 million pound customer, if it even pans out that is, if for basic SRB maybe fetching .14 to .20 a pound. And the new research facility they are thinking about building will further the research done by Smith et al. Nothing ground breaking, more along the lines of putting SRB and derivatives into other foods.
Hey that could have been my post.
I agree with you on this. Peoples perceptions are changing. They need to capitalize on it.
Well given these guys have only been in here a year, more or less, I can give them some leeway. But its still strike one for credibility. Revenues are at least moving in the right direction. The new mill in Arkansas isnt much at all at 30 acres. Maybe produces 20 tons of bran? But having people dedicated to research is promising. So thats good but a year away. There probably wont be any good news in a couple weeks so I would imagine the stock goes back into the 2$ range unless some institutions or management give some support. IMO
Should have said, They said "they believe they have an opportunity" for a hundred million pound customer. Not dollars. Sorry carry on.
They said "they believe they have an opportunity" for a hundred million dollar customer. Me too. I think I have an opportunity to win the lottery. As for the CC results more of the same 10 years and counting. I dont think they are going after meatless meat either with this potential customer. Think about whats going on with QJV or with the research that Robert yielded. IMO
The patents: they are updating the patent because there was a legal event that included a name change. If you look at the old ones you will see the assignee has changed from Sustainable Nutrition to Quintessence Nutraceuticals to QJV llc. Any other questions?
History has shown that CCs usually do set the stock aflame. Like a burning heap pile. LOL really though I am hopeful this time but they usually disappoint, we will see.
Ribt COULD be doing this:

Also I saw that Brad had to file BK back in 2014. Just a little fun fact for those who have been around a while.
That would put the market cap well North of 100 million. Is the company worth that much? They have not made a profit in 20 years and counting. Total loss over 20 years is over 220 million.
Yea I can for what did you need? His bankruptcy or rdx material?
No they arent. Last shipment was 12-3-18 and before that April. However shipments of rbo from Irgovel to the rito partnership are still going strong ever since we sold it.
