Yah I bailed.
I bailed back at .27 when non of those sales of synDNA and repeat customers and bla bla bla factory panned out I just had to get out. Took a bath in it... now I watch for fun.
If it get's down to a penny I might grab 100 shares.
It's been fun guys and I wish all the longs the best of luck. But I've decided to go back to gambling the way I know how to. Blackjack and Sports Books...
So who's building the cGMP LAB????
Yes why would GSL start the building?
Considering they're the land owner...
"The land for the project is being purchased from GSL Welcome Group.
Design Builder for the project is Kingham Dalton Wilson, Inc. (KDW) a provider of integrated commercial developments, specializing in Build-to-Suit facilities.
The design for the building and research laboratory facilities was completed by Arcon Architects of League City, Texas."
Houndish did some digging.
Ok guys yesterday I contacted Arcon and Kingham Dalton to actually try and get some questions answered from people who actually know something about the project. Having gotten tired of watching the know-nothing banter being spewed back and forth on this board.
First of all GSL is the land provider... not the contractor responsible for building the building. Let's get that straight. Kingham Dalton is the actual builder.
Ok I called on both Arcon and Kingham Dalton and here's what I didn't find out, due to a confidentiality agreement. (pretty typical in the design/build service industry)
-Floorplan/Layout of the building. I tried to obtain this as we have no idea what this thing is going to look like but they renegged on the verbal agreement over the phone and responded in writing with:
"I do apologize, but I cannot send you a floorplan for the Cytogenix project. We did sign a confidentiality agreement with those guys, so I can’t release anything without prior written request from Cytogenix."
I also tried to call "those guys" to try and obtain some written permission but no one answered the phone.
So then I moved on to Kingham Dalton here's what I didn't find out from them.
-Whether or not "ground breaking" officially constituted the beginning of construction.
-Whether or not payment had begun for the construction services or even if financing had been arranged.
However I WAS ABLE to obtain the following tidbits of info.
-Kingham Dalton expects the project to be complete in 6-7 months.
-Kingham Dalton will not be responsible for the cGMP portion of the facility as they have never built any cGMP facility in the past and this will not be their first.
-Inherently, someone else (to be named later???) will be responsible for the actual cGMP portion of the facility. Kingham Dalton is only responsible for the office space.
-Kingham Dalton also has trouble getting people from Cytogenix on the phone.
These are the facts, distort them as you please.
Still here...
I'm still here and holding. I wonder if I'll be repeating this message in 2 years...
Why can't someone just buy out our IP already so we can cash our chips and go home.
News worthy of a post by Houndish
Well here it is.
Awesome news, don't worry about the lack of volume. Things are gearing up nicely for a big pay day in a year or two. Which has been my timeline all along...
I'm still the guy with the 1.21 per share buy in price. I am nothing but optimistic. Will it happen this year? Most likely not. Next year? Probably not as well... it takes time to implement a new system and acclimate yourself to a different role (e.g. from an R & D to a Manufacturing company)
The doors to the cGMP aren't going to open and money is going to start blowing in. Marketing, succesful sales (more), larger volume sales and reputable customers will all be required to reach pay dirt.
I got time and lots of it.
OT: LMAO Tatonka You're probably right. EOM
HC isn't there a heirarchy of testing?
Before you can test on humans isn't there a typical progression of animal testing? I don't know what it is persay but wouldn't it be like...
Mice
Rats
Guinea Pigs
Cats
Monkeys
Humans
Kind of thing?
Another volume spike here tatonkano? EOM
Oh no the train is coming back to the station!?
Up 20%? Here's your reason.
Dr. Willson stated, "I am excited to be working with CytoGenix to bring synDNA™ into the realm of commercial scale manufacturing. This novel drug substance represents an opportunity to develop many new products with distinct advantages over existing plasmid-based technology."
What if this CRADA is succesful?
What if the vaccines using synDNA being tested with the USAMRIID are wildly succsesful? Like 80% - 90% effective (or whatever is a really good score). Like the previous tests showing synDNA's effectiveness.
Will this finally get people to realize that synDNA is the real deal. That we are in fact the sole proprietor of this potentially revolutionary method of creating DNA vaccines? Will this finally attract not only investors but major league pharmacueticals? Who we've already been fortunate enough to share presentation times with.
I think the cGMP facility is officially the limiting step. If that get's built on schedule and on budget and can begin taking orders... Bozo the clown could run this company and it won't matter. (hell he's probably more personable) I'm not saying we don't need a new CEO i'm just saying... it's not the major limiting step at the moment. cGMP grade production capability is.
A product doesn't need to be brilliant to sell. It's all about marketing. Ok... godamnit there was a guy who made millions selling pet freakin rocks... alright? Do we all get that?
Yes what we have is a million times better and more useful and creative and innovative and helpful to humanity than pet freaking rocks! But you wouldn't be able to tell looking at the share price... or... purchase orders...
I've seen stocks rise 700% in a week on fluff less tangible than this is all I'm saying. (eg. ECFL) Granted it turned out to be entirely BS... but the same could be said for this press as well... Whatever... I'll keep waiting.
Arnold these 3

A NT-10K is not a PR... it's an SEC filing. The CEO and COO aren't the only note worthy items in those PR's either... my you have such selective reading abilities. Just read what you want and ignore the rest.
No arnold but the last 3 PR's could be mistaken for a flurry... i didn't say a blizzard. You notice though the price has not moved from any of the past 3 PR's...
And yah junkmaster I guess it is the "smart" way to sell a speculative stock but who's making money on a .06 price spread... You think they'd want better... or maybe they're just hell bent at keeping the latest PPO buyers unhappy so they sell and can pick up more shares cheap! Ah ha! I figured it out... now I'm going to go cry because I'm probably right.
And we're back to even...
I hate the stupid stock market... this is good news is it not? What the hell do these people want from a non-profitable OTC longshot stock in a industry no one understands???
What kind of news WILL raise the SP? Jesus... collaborations with GE and the Feds... still nothing. THIS STUFF TAKES TIME PEOPLE. Just bet on it now while the price is low... but nooooo everyone decides to sell into a flurry of good news... bastards... I hate them all.
What is a CRADA?
(from USAMRIID webby check out the part on royalties)
A CRADA is an agreement between one or more federal laboratories and one or more nonfederal parties under which the laboratories provide personnel, facilities, or other resources and the nonfederal parties provide funds, personnel, services, facilities, equipment, or other resources to conduct specific research or development efforts that are consistent with the laboratory’s mission.
Steps:
USAMRIID scientist finds a prospective partner and works out a draft statement of work (SOW)
Scientist requests a CRADA from USAMRIID's Office of Research and Technology Applications (ORTA) via a Request for CRADA Preparation Form, including approval signature from department and division heads
ORTA prepares draft CRADA and obtains legal review from U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC)
ORTA sends draft CRADA to prospective partner and negotiates terms and conditions
ORTA obtains approval from laboratory commander/director and initiates USAMRIID and the Department of the Army review (normally routine)
CRADA signed by laboratory commander/director
Attributes:
The heart of a CRADA is the SOW
The government cannot provide funds to a nonfederal entity—other mechanisms exist for that purpose
Intellectual property (IP) rights in existence prior to a collaboration are retained by the provider, while any rights to newly created IP are negotiated on a case-by-case basis subject to applicable law and regulation
What is an MTA?
An MTA is a short-form CRADA solely for the provision of materials and information between a laboratory and a nonfederal party. No collaboration is contemplated.
What is a Patent License?
A patent license is a contractual agreement between a licensor (IP owner) and a licensee granting the licensee the right to use or develop the IP in exchange for a royalty fee.
Attributes:
U.S. industry/small businesses preferred
Can be exclusive, nonexclusive (preferred), for specific field of use, or a specific geographic area
Substantial royalties return to the laboratory
Licensee must present plans to commercialize the invention
Government obtains a nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license
Subject to conflict-of-interest rules
Royalty Income Use
The inventor receives the first $2,000 and 20% thereafter up to $150,000/year of any royalties/payments resulting from commercial licensure.
The USAMRIID laboratory receives the residual income to:
Reward laboratory employees, including inventors of technology regardless of whether it has commercial application
Further scientific exchange among laboratories
Educate and train USAMRIID employees
Pay the expenses incidental to the administration and licensing of inventions
Support T2 marketing activities
What is a Dual-Use Science and Technology (DUST) Program?
It is a Department of Defense (DoD) program that is a pillar of T2, as it promotes technologies that have both military utility and sufficient commercial potential to support a viable industrial base. One of the main focus areas of the DoD program is directed at medical and bioengineering technologies.
Requirements:
Dual-use technology
Competitive
Non-procurement agreement (cooperative agreement or other transaction)
Cost share (50% partner/25% DoD/25% Army)
Strong resistance at .40 hmm?
Anyone else notice this? Is this technical or coincidental? Tibbs? Is there a bottom here? If so I hope we've reached it.
Gdepc Up about $700 at the $10-$15 Blackjack tables.
Nothing too extravagant but pretty much paid for my first 3 (of 7) days. It was a shot in the arm =) Of course after going VIP at every club every night... $700 doesn't quite cut it. Oh well you only live once.
Anyway can someone run past me the definition of a whistleblower and how it might affect MS? As stated in the last part of the March update?
Just got back from Vegas. What'd I miss?
I think I might load up here... I had a buy order in for PTEN at 21.00 (don't think we'll get to that) but I guess CYGX at .35 would be nice too. Maybe I just like to be abused... I dunno... we'll see what happens tomorrow.
NC4S Thanks for the response.
Investing... gambling... I use the words interchangeably. Right now my portfolio is about 20% speculative... maybe even 25%. I'm young... and in no particular rush... with huge risk comes huge potential. Hopefully Cyto will be one of those 900% stocks one of these days.
I got some mutuals and blue chips... but that's boring compared to this stuff.
WIth that said ECFL is releasing the name of the company they're merging with tomorrow... expect another 20% rise on that news... if u wanna make a short play on it.
WHy I Hate the Stock Market
So I'm an owner of ECFL.PK. Bought in at .06 per share a few months ago now (I was lured in with the promise of 1 free share of GoBabyRacing for every 10 shares of ECFL I owned... yah that was the gist of my due diligence, no idea what either company does to be honest with you)
Anyway I watched my investment erode 95% thereabouts to half a cent... then all of a sudden BANG this thing is going to merge with some equally unknown company and over the last week it's risen over 700%.
Pretty awesome huh? Now if only I had bought at half a cent I'd be rich but nooooo now I'm just even... Heh... anyway figured I'd share my investment follies with you all...
Speaking of investment follies. What the hell is going on in CYGXland?
Stinging.
I cannot blame those of us on this board who are... displeased with the current situation. However I suppose we all deal with adversity in different ways. Some get defensive. Some go on the offensive.
The problem as I see it is the feeling some investors are having to do either. Am I the only one still complacent with his purchase? No I don't enjoy being misled into false expectations nor do I enjoy less than legitimate ventures undertaken on my dime. But at the same time... I can't help but completely ignore the present situation.
I truly feel as though what happens between now and when the CEO is replaced is entirely irrelvant to the future potential of this company. I am not a day trader... I will not move out of this stock until I realize a gain. I will lose 100% if neccesary.
But then again... this was gambling money for me. This is an OTC BB stock that has never made a profit in a bat-shit insane sector that most people (including myself) couldn't begin to understand.
I guess on some level, being a gambler, I expected to lose. Which is why I guess I don't mind so much... to be honest I don't care at all. Now a 270% increase in the current SP is all I need to break even. Cmon red! Cmon red... 6 times in a row!
Nice work Kanca...
The whole lapetus rant was pretty funny. "not just any moon either, jackass" That and the update was released on iTunes... lol... Hey if you can't laugh at yourself... who can you laugh at right?
Arnold and Co. should take notes. How to ridicule and be entertaining all at the same time.
Seriously though... we were morons for taking MS's words literally.
Thanks arnold you're as useful as a parrot.
Anyway what the hell is going on in the market today? I've never seen a 500 point drop in a single day. Did we get bombed or something?
Thanks for sharing... absolutely nothing. EOM
Anyone wanna call stonebridge or stonehedge or stonehead or whatever the name of our PR company is and ask them (him) if they're (he's) aware that February only has 28 days in it this year.
And that in order for us (me) to not consider MS a liar he has all of 1 day to release an update to the shareholders.
"8.) As part of our effort to improve our communication with our valued investing public, Cytogenix will undertake to provide reports similar to this one on the progress the company is making on AN AT LEAST monthly basis. We have engaged Stonebridge Holdings, LLC to assist the Company in improving communications and investor awareness. Stonebridge may be reached at (212) 704-6455, (917) 294-5373, stonebridge.holdings@gmail.com."
http://www.cytogenix.com/en_us/Investors/p37221191.html
Monthly updates my @$$. EOM.
Just call his cell phone and ask him where he is. Oh and ask him what's going to be in the February update to shareholders that MS said would occur on an AT LEASTmonthly basis.
I mean I know it's a short month and might constrict them for time but we're passing the halfway point. Thankfully we don't have to file anything this month. (odds on future notices of late filing?)
I dunno for some reason I get the feeling the next update to shareholders won't be as chipper as this past one.
OT BigB I Love 24
Nice post. I just started watching this season only... I never thought twice about it the last 5 seasons. Then I watched the first episode of season 6 and Im hooked.
I just got a haircut an hour ago and gave the girl a picture of Jack Bauer lol. (I shit you not)
Gdepc i already said this.
Nominate this post for post of the year.
Nice work Kanga. First with excellent DD and then this... outstanding. We should advertise on MTV.
Can't find Stonebridge Holdings LLC anywhere.
Google is unfamiliar with Stonebridge Holdings LLC. Either that or they don't have a website. Which is a little peculiar for a investor relations firm conducting business in the 21st century.
Oh and the contact email is @gmail.com? You're telling me this investor relation firm uses Google's free email account service for their email correspondence?
I'm going to have to jump on board with wanab and kobisan here with the following: "You gotta be joking, right?"
Don't expect too much from this little relationship advertised "to assist the Company in improving communications and investor awareness." More smoke being blown up our proverbial arses in my opinion.
Skooby you are off your rocker.
Do you even know how many shares LW and FV own? If the answer is anything besides "absolutely, a #" then all of your credibility is out the window and I can't begin to fathom why anyone should listen to your paranoid ramblings.
If I remember correctly (and I probably don't) both LW and FV own less than 6M shares between the both of them. With 129.33M shares outstanding this represents a mere 4.5% of the entire outstanding shares.
This is making a gigantic assumption that they own common stock and not preferred stock (subject to trade restrictions) which they most likely DO NOT.
Even if they sold their entire lot... it'd be a drop in the bucket. Besides even if they sold all their shares they'd run into a situation of diminishing returns where they would be lowering the SP to the point where they would be selling in the teens(if they continued to sell)...
Once the 6M (approx 50 days on current average volume) volume was absorbed by the market (hell I'd buy a fair amount at .18) the sell pressure would be lifted...
No need to fret. Besides any sell activity not based on substantial news should be construed as a good thing to those not fully invested. (buying opportunity)
So how about that monthly update?
How's Mike Ma doing? More importantly... WHAT is he doing? If the facility is still being designed... surely he's spending his 8 hours doing something productive. (building synDNA machines?)
So who's going to be taking over as CEO and what role will MS be moving into?
How was the 4th quarter of last year? Oh and the 1st quarter of this year? Sell any synDNA?
Are we going to have to wait til April to hear something on financials in the form of a 10-K?
Besides Aldveron any chance we can get some names of other purchasers of synDNA? (Or at least what their business model looks like)
What's all this crap about pro-sports got to do with anything?
How about the Chinese and the bovine DNA vaccinations? How's that coming?
How about the department of agriculture and department of defense? Exactly what type of collaborations are we talking about here?
I don't care about litigation and don't want to hear anything about it until it's over and we know how much we have to pay. (new management is a clean slate in my book)
What kind of timeline are we looking at to getting Simplivir to market?
That's all I got for now.
OT: Update... could be worse.
Well it's broken. Fractured actually. Fortunately.. eh hem, it's not a surgical case. But nonetheless will still require wiring of the jaw...
I don't mind. I really don't it's not the procedure or having to suck food through a straw or any of that that bothers me. But godamnit! It's going to fall on my vacation to Vegas!!!
LoL Tibbs I admire the pro's.
For alot of people though, who aren't as passionate and motivated and dedicated as you. They look at any form of security investment as a low risk form of gambling.
But when you're like Tibb and you spend the amount of time and energy and effort in the market with the numbers. It's like tackling physics with calculus while the rest of the world uses basic algerbra. You can find instants and momentum and probabilities. This is a science and it can be predicted. Just watch out for that Murphy character.
Keep on doing what works, and keep on keepin on. One day I hope to join your ranks... just got to finish this pesky engineering degree first before I can make some real money.
OT: Thanks all.
Thanks for the kind words and well wishes. The protein shake thing might just do the trick. They make some pretty tasty ones nowadays with everything from Carbs to Fiber to Vitamins, I never realized how far liquid meals have come. (Ensure/SlimFast have a ticker? LoL)
I'll find out tomorrow if I'll be stitched shut but will be seeking a nutritionalist's advice anyway.
It's interesting though how our (my) mind(s) work anyway. Never did I even contemplate having or at least sticking to a healthy nutritional diet. But now... I actually want to do it. It's just funny how much "motivation" it takes to change people sometimes. Despite the immediate negative detriment, the overall long is looking better. I feel more appreciative I guess. (not too sure how investment philosophy relates to life philosophy... but I'm seeing some connections here.)
