I would like to correct a mistake on my previous post. It should have stated that the worldwide cannabis market will be worth 146.4 billion.
I subscribe to the Nova X Report and I have a few pieces of an article dated February 15, 2019 that I think is worth looking at. It states that the European Parliament has just passed a major cannabis resolution that spells more great news for cannabis investors.By 2025, the worldwide cannabis market will be worth $ 14604 billion according to Grand View Research Inc. A large part of the market will be composed of medical marijuana - and the European Union is only the first step in reaching this prediction. After the World Health Organization just recommended a rescheduling of cannabis, the European Parliament decided on Wednesday that a resolution would help advance medical marijuana use in countries that make up the European Union. The resolution does not necessarily change any laws, although it does sway the EU's prohibitive attitude on marijuana overall. The resolution seeks to increase access to medical marijuana, as well as incentivize scientific research and clinical studies. With the World Health Organization's new classification and the European Union's cannabis resolution, it won't be long before the U.S follows in Europe's footsteps, taking a similar approach to cannabis research and development.Either way, this resolution is an incredible step forward for cannabis. After reading the entire report in full, I believe that Namaste is very well positioned in Europe and elsewhere across the globe. This will be huge!
What is everybody getting so upset about. Stocks go up and down each day. Namaste has not put out any bad news. All the recent news has been fantastic! If you sell for a loss, that is entirely up to you. Nothing has changed . CannMart will soon be open for business, revenue will start streaming in at unheard-of numbers, more patients are added each day and their license to sell medical mj in the UK should not be far off. You have to realize that the MMs and the shorts can make a ton of money by badmouthing stocks and then turn around and ride them back up. This will go on at every level we get to in terms of share price. Timing the market is not easy and most people lose at it. I am in for the long term meaning at least 4-5 years if not longer. If their plan is executed to it's fullest, there is no doubt in my mind and other long term investors that this stock will be on of my best investments ever. Stay strong and don't worry about the everyday sp. Remember that rec legal is only weeks away in Canada. Sean also said they have ideas about how to plug into that revenue stream. Hold strong and you will definitely reap the rewards!
Ronieye, the reason I set my sell limit at $90 is that it may help the shorting situation by not allowing my broker to lend my shares to shorts. I'm not sure that it matters on an OTC stock, but once we get uplisted to Nasdaq in the U.S., I think that is how it works. I plan on holding for at least 4-5 years and I will have to update my sell limit order every four months. If Namaste starts to really take off like I think it will, I may have to bump up the limit price. Remember that mj reform should not be that far off in the U.S., and when , not if, that happens, Namaste should be able to implement their platform here as they are doing in other countries right now. I guess I think more like Sean does about the big picture. A five year hold will probably make people multi-millionaires instead of millionaires. Think about it.
I set a sell limit order in with T.D.Ameritrade last week for $ 90 per share. Not a problem. Remember that when Amazon went public in 1997, its' shares opened at $ 18. Now, twenty years later, Amazon is trading for just over $ 1900 per share. You might think about that when you go to sell your Namaste shares. Tell me where you would put your money. Let me know if you think another company of any kind has the near-term and long-term potential that Namaste has. I can't think of one. I think this is an investment opportunity of a lifetime. Thank you Sean, Kory and all of the other hard working individuals for making Namaste the company it is today and the MONSTER it will be in the future!
I will be the first to pledge not to sell my Namaste shares for at least one year. There may be a lot of bumps in the road between now and then, but by next September, I believe Namaste will be one of the top marijuana-related companies in the entire world! No other company has the passion, the knowledge and the will that Sean and Kory have put together to make this dream become a reality in a very short timespan. Once CannMart receives it's sales license, the revenue flood gates will open, not just in Canada, but around the world. The revenue that will be generated is mind-boggling. I live in the U.S.A and when, not if, the feds reschedule marijuana, it will open up that much more of a monster of revenue for this company. Let the shorts do their thing for now. When the revenue from all of the Namaste team's hard work starts flowing in, you will be kicking yourself for not buying as much as you could have. Let's start the one year pledge tonight! I set my sell order at $90, good until cancelled. The order will expire on 01-17-2019. I will renew it every four months to keep it current. This does stop your broker from allowing shorts to borrow those shares. BTW, I trade through T.D.Ameritrade.
I am currently holding 58,700 shares of Namazon in two separate Roth IRA accounts for both me and my wife. I just put in a sell order on all of the shares for $90, good until cancelled. This keeps my broker from allowing shorts to borrow my shares. I know it's not going to make that much difference, but if every long-term shareholder would do the same, it could help smother the short attack. I also think it would be a great time for a share buyback at these low not for long prices.
Reading further on the Stockhouse bullboard, I found an article written today, 1-24-2018 at 1:17 Pm by Dana Dovey from Newsweek. The first paragraph of the article sums up the therapy that Promis Neurosciences uses, but it did not disclose the company name. The other article I read said that sometimes a company that is targeted for a buyout has to sign a non disclosure form to keep the acquisition news from getting out at the wrong time. The company doing the buyout doesn't want to give away their offer incase the competition wants to one up them on an offer. I think that the board of directors at Promis know how incredible important their prion targeting therapy is and would like to see PMN310 trials expedited. This might take powerful lobbying from a large drug company that would promise that they would get it to market as soon as the government approves PMN310. I also think that a buyout would be the best for the patients waiting on this new therapy. With the Newsweek article coming out today, it will not be long until the entire knows about Promis Neurosciences!
I think the projected revenue for 2018 was somewhere in the 25-30 million dollar range. I don't think cannabis sales were included in this projection because Namaste had sales close to 2 million in December alone just on their hardware products. Once the Cannmart license is issued, sales are going to be higher than their best pot could get them. Namazon will happen in 2018!
I just came across an article on Stockhouse .com that everyone has to read before you ever decide to sell one more share of Promis Neurosciences. When you get to the website, type in Promis Neurosciences ticker symbol arfxf and then go to bullboards. Scroll down until yo come across an article titled most " m&a " activity in a decade, big pharma flush with CASH. The article goes on to say that because of the new tax reform that businesses now have, it has made it cheaper to access billions of dollars that was parked over seas. This January, pharma executives have descended on San Francisco for JP Morgan,s healthcare conference using the event as an opportunity to meet rivals and cook up deals. It went on to say that some of these deals will be announced in the next few weeks. I think this could be huge for a company like Promis Neurosciences. Maybe newsletter man was onto something after all. People, this could be a game changer.
I think that this company has a ton of value at the point of which they are now. I am more than sure Promis Neurosciences name was brought up a whole lot at this conference. Another way to access the article is at
http:/www.paywallnews.com/business.
As I stated yesterday, I think the newsletter had a ton of truth about it as far as the prion targeting therapy and how it is better targeting the toxic cells than anything currently out there . I think the only bs was the date of 2-14-2018 and a major announcement pending. Promis did not say anything about that date, so we will watch and see. I still think a buyout of this company would be worth at least $ 11.5 billion based on 220,000,000 ( 220 million ) shares in issue and a share price of $50. That figure is inexpensive to a large pharma if the drug PMN310 gets to market as a way to halt or slow the progression of Alzheimer's. I would like any thoughts on my calculation. I read where a drug for Alzheimer's will be worth over $ 30 billion treating patients in the USA alone. Multiply that by all the patients needing treatment throughout the world and $ 11.5 billion would seem cheap to acquire this company and their technology. I will wait as long as it takes, but the company definitely has a lot going for it at this super low share price.
There was a newsletter sent to my e*mail about a week ago from Agora Financial and newsletter was apparently written by Ray Bianco who works with or at Agora Financial. He said that Promis Neurosciences was set to make an announcement on 2-14-2018 on news that may send this stock into the stratesphere, 15000 % in 48 hours. He wanted $2000 to reveal the name of the company. WIth a google search of some of the hints he was dropping about the company, I found out it was indeed Promis . I didn't pay any money for this info , but hinted in former posts who he was and what his predictions were. On Monday, I tried to forward the newsletter presentation to a friend, but by then it was taken off the website. All I did was reveal what Ray had stated in the newsletter. Other posts on this website will confirm this.
Adding to my last post, look back at post # 60 and read the section on Breakthrough Therapy Designation. It states where breakthrough treatments can receive rapid, priority approval. That is exactly why I think this therapy is very close to approval. There is no way the clinical trials should or will wait until 2019. There are way too many people throughout the world suffering from Alzheimer's and if there is a way to get this drug to market a.s.a.p. , let's hope the red tape gets cut! IMO
I totally agree with your comments on Agora. Let's forget about them and focus on the real things Promis has to offer. Their prion targeting therapy using PMN310 is the best hope on the horizon for halting or slowing the progress of Alzheimer's disease. I believe that the clinical trials will be expedited now that they have found that increasing the dosage does not cause additional brain swelling. This is huge because all the research done by big pharma could not achieve these same results. A small company like Promis may not have the ways and means to bring a drug like PMN310 to market like a company like Pfizer would. I'm sure big pharma is watching this company very closely. Then there is the question of what a large company would offer Promis to acquire them . Remember that Promis has only about 230,000,000 ( 230 million ) shares in issue. I think a fair price to Promis and it's shareholders would be around $11.5 billion. That would represent a share price of $ 50 and 1$11.5 billion would be cheap to a large pharma that would eventually make tons more due to the extreme numbers of patients around the world this drug could help. I also believe that the trials are further along than may have been revealed and an announcement may not be that far in the future. I think I will sit back, relax and know that I am holding onto something that could be absolutely huge. Time will tell!
Remember what happened last Friday afternoon. It was steady around .248 and then it kept rising and people kept chasing. Same thing may happen today. HOD was almost .44 today so far and close to 7 million traded. Insiders and friends buying more?
I would guess that it would be at a latter date given the speed the government moves at. I would think that the Canadian Gov't would have something to say being that it is a Canadian company. Just not sure of the red tape.
According to the newsletter, the date for the announcement is 2-14-2018. This could be the doctor's Valentine gift to the world. Who knows. Prion targeting therapy seems like it may be the way to cure Alzheimer's forever!
Your assumption may be correct. They will have to raise capital somewhere . My guess is that they will eventually be bought out by a big pharma, hopefully at a huge multiple of where the stock is now trading.
Let me try another calculation. I googled " profit for an Alzheimer cure" and found one research article saying a drug could be worth as much as 20 billion. Again , it didn't say annual or overall revenue. Let's bump that number up to 25 billion for a hypothetical. Now let's assume that out of that 25 billion in revenue, the company makes a profit of only 10% or 2.5 billion. Now divide 2.5 billion by 250 million outstanding shares and you come up with a figure of $10 per share in profit. Then using a very conservative multiple of 10, you will come up with a value of $100 per share. Now I am not sure if they are talking 20 plus billion in annual sales or total, but I would think that would represent annual sales. Correct me if you think these calculations are wrong or extreme. I do not think so!
And by the way, I am not trying to pump the stock, but merely pointing out the possible potential of a drug that halts or slows down the progress of Alzheimers. Read more on prion targeting and see the potential of this drug. Tell me why the calculations are so out of line. Again , do your research and see if you can come up with an estimate of yearly revenue for a company that slows or halts the disease. Read that Bloomberg article and you will see that estimate for the US at 30 billion dollars . Agreed that they did not say that was yearly revenue, but it is still one impressive number. I wouldn't know how to estimate the worldwide revenue, but it would surely be a lot more than the 30 billion for the US alone. i could retire comfortably on a share price of $50 but I believe it can be a lot more.
I am not making these numbers up. Research an article on Bloomberg on march 1, 2017. The article is headed" Big Pharma is losing a fortune trying to cure Alzheimer". Within the article, Sanford C Bernstein & Co., an analyst covering big pharma says that drugs that halt the progress of Alzheimer's disease could be a market worth as much as 30 billion dollars in the US alone. Then realize mow many more patients around the entire world there are. The estimate may not be out of hand by any means.
The 1 trillion dollar estimate is a number that some think can be obtained because of the extreme number of cases around the world, again not my figures, but others.
Say that on 1 trillion dollar potential revenue per year that they earn a
very conservative profit of 25 billion dollars. Now divide 25 billion by 250 million shares in issue and you come up with $ 100 per share in earnings. A super conservative multiple of 5 would put the share price at $500. The company would probably have to dilute shares to have enough money on hand for manufacturing and distribution, but I don't think the numbers are out of hand for a company that can cure Alzheimer's.
If you do the math , newsletter man's calculations may not be that far out of line. Say he is correct that the company that finds a cure will have revenues over $ 1,000,000,000,000. ( 1 trillion dollars ). Now let's assume that the company has net earnings or profit of $ 250,000,000,000
( 250 billion dollars ) after expenses including overhead, wages, taxes , etc. Now divide the earnings ( $ 250,000,000,000 ) by the number of shares in issue which is approximately 250,000,000 ( 250 million ) and you come up with a figure of $1000 which represents the earnings per share the company would be making. A very conservative multiple of 10 would put the price per share at $10,000. Check my figures and let me know if I am wrong. The number is absolutely mind boggling!
I was taking the average volume on what was stated on investorshub. Your numbers are even better. Thanks for the correction.
One more thing to think about. Promis Neurosciences was not approved for trading until Dec. 4, 2017 on the OTCQB Venture Market in the United States and will continue to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange. This is big because until then, a lot of people had no idea what this company was all about. More exposure means more interest. A cure for Alzheimer's should be and probably is a top priority for all governments and Promis just might have that cure. Let's hope and pray.
Actually the volume yesterday was 5,432,629 compared to average volume of 155,140 per day. This represents an increase of over 35 times normal. Also a share price increase of over 42% yesterday tells me something big may be in the works! My guess is that PMN310 gets approval and will be hitting the markets soon. The people affected by Alzheimer's cannot wait until 2021 for phase 2. They need it now and maybe the government in Canada or the US is ready to go ahead with it. IMO.
I do not believe that the company would wait until 2021 to do a phase 2 clinical trial if their drug PMN310 has shown such great results without swelling the brain like similar drugs have done, I feel that the drug to market will be greatly expedited and will be waiting on that February announcement. Please comment if anyone else has heard anything about a release of news coming mid February.
. I posted yesterday how I had come across this stock from a newsletter trying to get me to buy info on this stock for $2000. I did my own research and found out that Promis Neurosciences was indeed the company he was speaking of. He noted in his presentation that he actually met Dr. Neil who I now know is Dr. Neil Cashman. He also said that the doctor took him to the lab and showed him through a microscope how brain cells react and went into a lot of other things. The important thing the newsletter man mentioned was that the doctor is poised to make the announcement about his prion targeting therapy on February 14, 2018. He, newsletter man , also said that he believes that this stock will soar about 15,000 % on the release of this news and eventually over 65,000% when they start to treat patients with PMN310. These are his predictions, not mine. The revenue for a successful treatment of Alzheimer's could bring a company over one trillion dollars annually, also his numbers and not mine. Just relaying info I received. I hope Promis has the cure for Alzheimer's to help all the people and families suffering from this terrible disease.
I totally disagree on your prediction on where this stock is going in the new months and years. I believe that Promis has already found a way to reverse the effects of Alzheimer's. Mark my words: I believe that there will be a major announcement within the next month that outlines what Promis has found to be an effective way to combat Alzheimer's. When this announcement happens, I think you will be very, very happy you were patient about holding onto this stock. Today's volume was huge. I am not the only one who strongly believes that something major is right around the corner. I was looking into the company yesterday when it was trading in the .18-.19 range. I sold some positions in other stocks this morning in order to buy more Promis. By the end of the day, the stock started really taking off. I had to chase it to buy what I wanted. All indications are that we are heading very far north in the very near future. I think by mid Feb. we will be extremely happy with this stock. IMO only
I found this stock yesterday from a financial newsletter that was offering to sell me the name of this stock for a whopping $2000 along with some other info. I figured it out on my own and I am sure glad I did. People, this is going to be a game changer in the cure for Alzheimer's. The newsletter predicted that a company that finds the cur for Alzheimer's can expect revenues in the trillions of dollars per year. He also said that this tiny stock may be on the the largest rising stocks in the history of the stock market. It sounded like a ton of bs until I read further into his analysis. It really started making sense. This one is for the long haul. I think it will make any long extremely happy!
You're right. Earnings are net earnings or profit. Recalculating: If you take the projected revenue in 2021 of 500,000,000 and subtract the cost of doing business ( 347,000,000 ) which includes overheat, heating, cost of goods, salaries and taxes which is only a hypothetical estimation, you come up with a profit or net earnings of 153,000,000. Now divide the net earnings by the number of shares in issue ( 153,000,000 ) and you get the number 1. Take that number ( 1 ) x 50, the average multiple in the marijuana space, and the result is $ 50 which approximately should represent the price per share in 2021 or 2022. If the multiple is say 25, I'll still take a share price of $25 in three years or so. Thanks for pointing out my mistake. We're all here to make money. Good luck to all!
Hope Sean is still doing his 4:20 today. I have not heard yes or no.
I looked at my post that I wrote and agree that the 40 billion is the projected global market opportunity. By refiguring, I took the projected revenue in 2021 and beyond ( 500,000 ) and divided it by the shares in issue. That comes up with a number of about 3.26. That number is not the price per share, but the earnings per share which is a whole lot different. The earnings per share ( $3.26 ) is then multiplied by 50 which I understand is the standard figure used in calculating the marijuana stocks. That total ( $ 163 ) should be the number that represents the share price in 2021. The multiple of 50 seems high, but I did read that number on another post on investorshub, not necessarily this company's. Even if you use a more conservative multiple like 20 times earnings, that still gives you a projected share price of $ 64.00 . Do not state a low share price of 3-4 when your calculation was done wrong. Correct me if I'm wrong. To get the market cap, you then multiply the price per share, say
$ 64 x 153,000,000 which comes to 9.792 billion.
It probably does not matter if you live in a state that is legal or not. Remember that mj is still considered a schedule 1 drug by the Feds. Until marijuana becomes legal on the federal level, the app cannot be used fully because of your ip address.
I do not hope for a buyout. If you look at the future projections set forth by management as listed in post # 310 on this board, you will see that in a few short years, 2021 and beyond, revenues are projected at around 500 million and a market cap of around 40 billion. If you divide the projected market cap( 40 billion ) by the number of shares in
issue, ( 153 million ), you come up with a share price of around $ 261 per share. That is about 130 times what the price is now . ( 2.00 per share ). That represents a share appreciation of about 13000 % in 3-4 years. If they only do half of that, I will be more than satisfied. Please check my calculations and let me know if I have it right. As The saying goes. sit down, shut up and hang on. It is only beginning!
There is a recent article posted on one of investor hubs message boards that said that there is a provision in the recently passed tax law that tells the Feds to ease up on the crackdown of legal mj businessses. Maybe Att. General Session is unaware of this or does not care. There will be major pushback on what he is doing. He may not keep his job, who knows. Hold tight . You only lose money if you sell. There will be a lot of lawsuits over this.
There was an article written recently about a hidden provision in the recently passed tax law about easing the Feds grip on state mj laws. Maybe Sessions is unaware of it as many of my friends were. Hold tight!
I do not know if Att. General Sessions is aware of it or not, but there was a provision in the recently passed tax law that loosened the Federal government crackdown on the marijuana businesses operating in states where legalization was passed. This new crackdown could be on the businesses that refuse to get a state license to operate. Recent news reports including one on MSNBC on Tuesday night at 10.00 showed that a lot of startup companies could not afford the 100,ooo or so cost of becoming a legal business , so they are taking a chance of getting busted from that angle alone. The Feds may ease up on legal companies and only go after the illegal ones, who knows at this point. Either way, I am holding onto my shares because this will probably end up in court and the states according to President Trump should make their own choices about how the laws are enacted. Jeff Sessions might consider toking on a fat blunt and chilling awhile.
I think something is in the works for some of the top dogs to be adding more shares to their portfolios. I hope news is right around the corner. The people who are still holding should be comfortable knowing that GRWC had a high of 1.40 back in June of 2017 and that revenues for the fourth quarter of 2017 should be coming out soon. The ones who sold early might end up chasing the stock if the next news report is good. I think we will be just fine. Be patient. It is only Jan. 3 ,2018. GOOD LUCK TO ALL.
