Interesting news, but as usual with Willow it may never prove to drive significant revenues
As with history, very short lived optimism / SP increase
Baby steps and it's true that although revs are minimal and they're likely no where near profitability, I'd assume that the IP alone could carry a valuation of at least half of market cap, possibly more.
If we manage to crawl back over $1US on revs I'll be cashing out with my head held high with maybe enough profit to fly one way to Vegas by myself. But you know what, it would be a miracle at this point to recoup these paper losses that I've been sitting on for three years.
Ok, what's going on here? I have about as much confidence in this stock as I do in our government making responsible decisions, but perhaps there's a glimmer of hope here to chip away at the past two years of losses.
And I really wonder what ever happened to that Pjbpeterjoseph character who used to fill this board with rainbows and lollipops.
Had to dig back, but one of his last posts in '22 he was still telling you to get ready for the big "trip to Vegas" on Willow's pending SP surge. Quoting the ol' lad "We are still on for Vegas 2025! Hang in there, this is a marathon. Don’t get me wrong, it has been a very disappointing 2022 thus far and I see GRAS has been pushed back, however playing the long game. Attractive pricing if you have the ability to park money for long term play."
Curious what he meant by "long term play". Poor guy.
I just painted a wall for comparison and actually it was the paint drying that was much more entertaining than watching Willow's stock.
Very well could be. Clearly volume is up this week, but as a company I still wouldn't have any optimism on them delivering value to shareholders. Still hoping for a pathway to recoup losses and the more digits I add back the better. Until then it may be nothing more than artificial pumping leading into another cash raise.
Something brewing in the world of biosynthetic Willow soup?
Correction, this is not news of a new patent, it's news of a new patent filing. This is a non event.
This company is really just awful. They burned $4M in the quarter bringing their total cash down from $10.5M to $6.5M. At the current burn rate they'll be broke within 2 operating quarters. Clearly revenue isn't getting them there as they dropped from $274K to $135K quarter to quarter. If they execute another cash raise they'll need massive dilution at 0.07-0.08 USD. They're consistently "progressing", but nothing that is material enough to move the needle in the right direction. Consider selling positions now or near-term before next round of rock bottom financing is needed. Given that firms don't borrow when they're broke that news could come in a matter of weeks.
Appreciate your optimism as we all need that on occasion, but I'm actually more concerned in this company after the recent release. After that digging I came up with a lot of red flags on the company, the size of the operation, the CEO, a private residence as the corp address in FL, barely any revs to speak of. I've been down this road before w/penny stocks and it screams corruption. Just my two pessimistic cents.
I can't stop laughing. A "team of experts" is quite the wild exaggerations for a staff of 3 people.
The corporate address pulls up a private residence in West Palm, FL. Lol. What a scam. I hope they can manage to pump this thing back to levels close enough to be worth bailing. I seriously can't stop laughing at how glittery they made this announcement sound and it's with a partner running a business from his house.
State of Inc: Florida
Location Type: Single
Revenue: $ 73,490
Employees Here: 3
Facility Size: N/A
Ok, I retract my statement from yesterday. For now, I'll call this NR fluff. I almost laughed when after looking into it I saw that SandHill has a whopping 3 people on payroll, each presumably making well over the minuscule <$100k in annual revs. Insert sad face emoji.
Dare I be excited here? I may have to begin paying attention again to little ol' Willow. Still holding enough shares to actually care about them executing and finally generating some well needed revs.
Ok, is there something brewing? I've only been waiting a few years. Let's get some orders.
I feel like it can. Painful indeed. I watched another cannabinoid based biotech, TBP, crawl all the way back to current levels of 0.017. Wish I didn't have so many shares of this junk. Well junk for now at least that is until they commercialize something. Anything.
Now that's actually quite funny
Well Janey I'll be patiently waiting there with you.
So whatever happened to that uber bullish fella on this forum that was constantly sending you messages? Did he pull a David Copperfield disappearing act after pumping this for over 2 years while it constantly fell lower and lower?
Well I see that none of the recent news has made any difference to the broader market. Also, more officers/execs have purchased commons which is typically a sign of strength, but no major announcements and no positive uptrends in SP. This stock is surely a strange one.
I'll take anything positive at this stage. It's been an absolutely awful perpetual downtrend since as long as I can remember.
One thing that I did just notice which isn't significant is that three insiders just purchased a total of ~1,000,000 common shares in the open market w/Archibald just buying 500,000 yesterday.
Nope, and why should they. A little movement recently, but still nothing but a yawn fest. Looks like most have vacated positions as the commentary that I previously tracked a while ago is down to chatter. As you know, one could literally spend a week talking to themselves on this forum.
Lol, surely wasn't me buying anything that rhymes with pillow.
There's pathetic volume and then there's Willow volume. Less shares trade daily on this stock than the number of our youth that trade their genders.
I don't know, but I could really use some "real" material news from this company. If they had some and clawed back over even .50 I'd then have to decide if I trust them longer term or would I bail.
Yeah about $15.2 is what I had noted last week which is absurd. I can't wrap my head around how the market values them at less than the hard cash they have in hand.
No floor indeed. Reading the 1Q results they are clear that there will be little revs in '22 so I don't know how the SP has any chance of near-term upward movement. Partnering w/new CDMOs is great and all including running some studies, but biosynthetic manufacturing deals with defined pricing and supply are all that really matter.
Janey, tell us how your really feel
Hard to blame him. There's little to feel confident about and it could take a long time for them to lock up additional supply contracts. Given current burn rates they have some time, but it's not looking like enough to generate enough profits to keep another raise at bay. If they raise at these levels it will be awful.
It's always "next year is the year" with these companies. There will be something like additional down-stream processes needing refined, another change to a new CMO/CDMO as batch yield is limited with the current, or whatever the excuse will be to kick the can into the next calendar year.
Not sure about financials, I surely haven't seen anything, but I haven't looked very hard either. I'm still waiting to see what happens with pending litigation. Looks like this could be a long slog and keep them down or at least flat in the absence of anything material. I'm not holding my breath.
Definitely seeing a slight pattern change this week. I'm not holding my breath. Last time I did that I died and came back as guy that invested in an under-performing company named Willow.
well played....well played. Just don't let the earthworms tunnel into your nostrils.
That's an understatement. I just painted the wall to watch the paint dry to compare it with being a current Willow investor.
Literally the only red stock in my portfolio today. Willow is just miserable. Nothing seems to stop the bleed.
Misery loves company and that's why I've been trying my best to stay away from this forum haha
This is our time. This time right now. Now is the time to add. Not yesterday or last month or last year or any year prior, right now. We are poised for market dominance, global cannabinoid rule, wealth beyond our wildest dreams, trips to Vegas and license plates making sure everyone knows who we are and how we got here. **End of sarcastic parody**
I see nothing close to "take off" from the recent presentation that dropped
Sorry, but this stock is just awful. It's been in a constant decline with no end in sight and the company provides no data or updates on progress, or lack thereof, to the broader market.
Sorry, but many on this board have been chasing this down since the $.70-.90s USD. Since only the summer it's lost about 70% of its value. It's never fun trying to catch a falling knife.
