Merry Christmas! Christ is born. Merry XXII-mas! VLN is born.
That is the q- how long. If long, we see shorts attack... this being a pump off short-term news. However, I think the Ace is New Zealand now... I see them implementing, and fast. Then, other smaller countries following. Wonder how strong BT lobby will be there...
Perception was the only problem from TPSAC.
These are great conclusions: Disclaimer content may effectively inform consumers about addiction risk of a new RNC cigarette MRTP, and further inform non-smokers about health risks. This element, however, had little effect on perceived health risks among smokers, among whom the Moonlight product name was associated with health risk misperceptions similar to the banned ‘light’ descriptor.
Scrap Moonlight name anyway, just call it VLN, with disclaimer.
I'm hopeful again.
GLTA
This what we were waiting for for MRTP approval?

How I read it: smoke-free by 2025... meaning, NZ mandate would go into effect earlier to get there.
If XXII collaborates with CHUC, I'd be disappointed. CHUC looks like crap.

@Rev_Moe_Luv_Jr_Esq @Sophisticated_investor2 @nonameface13 Mei responded to say "I can confirm they were open market purchases through his own brokerage account and are subject to our blackout period."
Any reason why it shows "P" for code? Standard practice?
Good to see you bullish, Gio :)
It was a reply to the poster who listed "not approved"
Nice find
Good stuff - bodes well.
Agreed - taking comfort in this.
What?
I hope you didn't take offense. You strike me as someone who knows when this price will go up or down - why I was asking. Don't read the wrong tone into it my man.
My man, you'll have to acknowledge that XXII couldn't market VLN in the past. Throw in today's data analytics; I don't think we'd have a hard time reaching .25% market share in the US within 6 months of approval.
Vague enough to come true - good prophecy!
I see the manipulation now - but MRTP is real. If approved, we should have an arm to stand on even if third arm is amputated.
I’m not familiar myself in terms of the tech; but someone mentioned something to do with making light beer taste like regular beer - I don’t know
If MRTP sales can fund all these future ventures, would be dandy to branch out
Yes, it’s worth watching everyone... there’s 20 min on tobacco regulation
Think it starts about 15 min in
Got it my man
"The global decaffeinated coffee market size was estimated at USD 1.65 billion in 2019 and is expected to reach USD 2.8 billion by 2027."
On the other hand: "The global beer market was equal to 498.66 billion USD (calculated in retail prices) in 2015. Until 2025, the beer market in the world is forecast to reach 710.89 billion USD (in retail prices), thus increasing at a CAGR of 3.72% per annum for the period 2020-2025."
I think beer... hops... he said 500 bil
I meant the rise in our pps - if you knew it was being pumped.
I believe based on the event, Zeller can make that call. Directors make the decisions... an FDA head had said. Who knows.
FDA Webcast was positive:
overall, it should be continued, all agree it's a good idea, Dem admin should push, love the fuckn social equity disparity talk Dems love that acknowledgement, Zeller still fighting, MRTP can get pushed tru with Acting in place my interpretation - GOOD STUFF and GLTA
In summary ...ALL the commissioners in favor of VLN and moving mandate forward. Feel current admin can do that.... Gottleib mentioned vaping and it being a BIG problem. He says however there still needs to be some other type of "medicinal" nicotine option (over the counter). Commissioners feel that in general...FDA issues are bi-partisan.
"Mitch and Jane were both there when Kessler got the credit but Mitch is still fighting the good fight"
GUYS, WE TOOK 40 MIN OF THE FKN WEBCAST - GOOD WORK. THEY GOT 20 MINUTES LEFT. GOOD FKN WORK. THAT'S WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT.
third dude: "yeah, i'm a cardologist, etc. gruesome to see what happened... i think tobacco use is one of the most ... disparities... look at who uses it... low income, not as well educated, etc. it's remarkable that it's been so hard to get the policies thru... part of that is related to FDA, HHS, and rest of political relationship process... this is one issue that plays out like no other has... in my current life, working at Alphabet, disease management, it's hard to make the financial case for people who become addicted to nic ... there's a lot on diabetes, etc. but almost noting on nic... but the pathways have not taken off... no one on this call smokes, 50 mil people still do, yet there is no market for... so, WE NEED a regulatory approach and i hope this admin has the courage to fight some battles... the BT lawyers are awful"
"needs to be high on fda agenda" "really good ex of continuity that occurs in agency driven by its mission to protect health" "kessler began the fight" "wasn't achieved, court battles" "transition occurred... Obama came in, gave FDA auth. to regulate tobacco" "lowering nic in cigs... we were delighted that Scott embraced those elements even tho Republican admin then" "it was unfort. that didn't get a chance to move forward after Scott formalized the discussion... NOW IS THE TIME given the persistent toll of tobacco... to not only pursue that but a whole range of..."
Gio, can you confirm this isn't bs, please? Least as far as you know?
Hey, your back.

Can we expect mandate talk? Read thru... “tobacco reg”... what could that be? Hopefully they answer our q tomorrow at the former FDA round table... c u there

Got it
Is this getting pumped, Gio?

Lung cancer is the nation’s top cancer killer, causing more than 135,000 deaths each year. Smoking is the chief cause and quitting the best protection.
So Biden tweets he wants to end cancer. Let's put two and two together.
Hopefully, something comes of this...
