Tier 1 supply status, laser head product available for order....hmmm....
In my opinion the most important thing with the Americhip stock in the past year is becoming a Tier 1 supplier for General Motors Global. Americhip makes money off its abrasives division, but the LACC is the revolutionary idea that Americhip is really based on. Having a company like General Motors include Americhip in its Tier 1 supplier list is the cornerstone for a foundation of contracts. And contracts are what all of us have been waiting for.
If possible, take a look at the stocks sensitivity to movement over the past few years. You will find that momentum in the stock is fast and heavy, but difficult to heavily trade on. I recommend short bursts of buys on this stock and then hold. The company is quite serious about the future of its LACC process and if the rumors hold then it really will be revolutionary in the manufacturing process. I made quite a few dollars on the momentum swings but am committed to having a decent number of shares. When the Tier 1 supplier PR came out, the stock went from .04 range to .09 range and has settled between .075 and .08. Lack of activity in the next month will probably see the price drop back to the .05 range, which in my opinion would be a fine buying opportunity.
Just my $0.02. Good luck with your trading decisions
Hey all...long time since I posted, let alone on this board. Nice to see everyone I knew from last Fall/early Spring still around! As some may remember I had to take a break from everything to get some debts paid off (and in the process I commandeered a spouse). Just wanted to say hi to everyone and wish you all a great spring! I'm still not doing much trading yet, but have got the feelers back out for buy ops.
Onto business...some of you may remember I dabbled in Americhip (OTCBB::ACHI) a while back. In case you haven't been following the news, Americhip was just named as a Tier 1 supplier by General Motors Global Purchasing. This is solid ground for ACHI getting some of its first contracts on parts using its LACC method (its a way of machining using lasers that does not require additional chemicals and is far more accurate, and of course much cheaper).
The stock made a 100% run this week, and has tapered off somewhat. At this point I'd wait to see what the stock does, but I think it should be on everyone's watch list for the next 6 weeks or so. Just my $0.02.
Once again, good to see everybody here...heya Coy and Cowboy!

(OTC BB:ACHI.OB - News) announced that the Company has authorized delivery of a Doosan 670LM turning center at the KSI location in Clinton Township, MI. "Prior to the delivery of the turning center, the Company would apply the LACC process at our AmeriChip laser facility and return the parts to be run on customers' machines when time was made available to them," said Ed Rutkowski, of AmeriChip International. We are now in a position to control and reduce our time lines on trials as well as having the capability to do limited production runs. Time has already been allocated on the turning center for limited production runs commencing in May 2006 which will result in long-term production runs for our existing pilot programs. This center is the first of several which are being ordered to facilitate future requirements to expedite production runs.
Headquartered in Plymouth, MI, U.S.A., AmeriChip International Inc., a technology company, holds a patented technology known as Laser Assisted Chip Control, the implementation of which results in efficient chip control management in industrial metal machining applications. This technology provides substantial savings in machining costs of certain automobile parts providing much more competitive pricing and more aggressive sales approaches within the industry.
The innovative AmeriChip business model, enhanced by its AmeriChip Tool and Abrasives subsidiary, is designed to establish an extensive resource for cost-saving services and products that all cost-conscious industrial steel and aluminum machining companies require. AmeriChip is committed to keeping jobs in America for Americans.

Love the site!
It's a shame I'm out of the game right now...looks like I'm missing some good action! Congrats to the CTUM winners :)
btw you'll note I also let my premium subscription expire...I will also renew that when I get back in the game.
Heya coy...congratulations on the Steelers win. I was thinking of you at the end of the game and how wide your smile must've been. Think Cowher will call it quits now?
Anyway, I wasn't really pulling for either team, but I must say that was some of the worst officiating I have ever seen. Regardless of the Roethlisberger TD review, there was a bogus holding call that cost a TD and an even more bogus pass interference call that cost a TD. And the Hasslebeck block below the waste call was bogus too. However, Pittsburgh played very well, and Seattle did make a couple idiot mistakes (clock mismanagement for one!).
At any rate, congrats again. Luckily I stayed out of this one as I probably would've put my money on the Seahawks...
btw regarding our conversation a little while ago I am in fact taking a break from trading for a couple months. I will probably jump back in round summertime but have short-term debt elimination and possibly marriage on the brain in the meantime. I'll post here periodically cuz this is my favorite board. Kudos :)
-griz
indeed...I rode the wave in and out and will likely find a re-entry in a few months...alot of folks made a ton of money on this run...the next time it goes it'll go higher and I'll have a low entry by then...
As much as I'd like Seattle to win...I have to agree with you on this one coy. Pittsburgh stepped their game up for the playoffs and beat a team who pounded every great AFC rival in their path during the regular season. Seattle's lost games during the regular season (I never count the last 2 games with conference champs) include some of the weaker playoff teams, Jacksonville and Washington. Their other victories were against crappy teams: San Fran, St. Louis, Arizona, Tennessee, etc. Pittsburgh went 1-1 with many playoff teams, and rose from last in the AFS playoff ranks to first while playing on the road. Bettis will probably be the Detroit favorite but even if there are not many Detroit folks there I suspect Pittsburgh will have the crowd advantage.
The Seattle defense is talented, quick, and smart, but they are small...stopping the Bus at what is sure to be his most dedicated performance will be difficult.
All that said, I want Seattle to win...I like the Steelers but I'm not liking their fans too much (lived there for a while). Seattle is overdue for some good news :)
UCHB coy looks like you got your wish :)
Don't know much about this company, but don't have time to read through the scads of posts...anyone care to offer a quick breakdown?
I bought in PLNI at the .006x support range, flipped a few times and got out at .0089...unfortunately the E*Trade debacle this morning robbed me of some of my profits...oh well.
I'm still not convinced the PLNI run is over, but will likely wait to buy into weakness...
Hopefully I didn't offend too many people when I got all giddy in the past week...it was one watching my portfolio value grow so steadily!
interesting action today
hmm...I saw some .08 buys going through and thought that might've been you....I guess other people are watching your posts? Don't get too famous
interesting little stock there...I watched the traffic (or lack thereof) and it seems pretty volatile...some good buying pressure would send this one up pretty fast I'll bet...if you buy into this one I'd buy slow :)
Friday shake, my opinion. It was overdue for a correction, and the MMs took this one down without selling power to support it.
yep, there is still much more buying pressure than selling pressure, based on the trades I've seen today. This looks and feels like a shake...
I figured...of course E-Trade is completely freezing on me every 5 seconds so my last 3 orders never made it in. Who do you use, Coy?
Anyone having problems with Power E*Trade Pro today?

I know who he is and have communicated with him on several occasions. There is no need whatsoever to bash him here, and it is unwelcome.
One other thing, shortsie:
If the company is so bad, WHO'S BUYING ALL THESE SHARES? If the company is selling shares, WHY IS THE PRICE GOING UP? If the company is not buying back shares, WHY HAVE WE HAD SUCH STRONG SUPPORT DURING THIS RUN? If the company *is* buying back shares, WHY WOULD THEY BUY IF THEY THOUGHT THE PRICE WOULD DROP IN THE FUTURE? If the company is buying back to raise the share price, WHY ARE YOU COMPLAINING?
What do we know?
- someone's buying a ton of shares
- many people are NOT selling a ton of shares
- even on the dips the trading pressure is always on the ask
- the walk-up is slow...which means there is no panic selling and no heavy retrace in one trading period
For someone who claims they are sitting at a heavy loss, you are trying as hard as you can to keep it down. Perhaps you should try being positive, since the only thing you can claim about the company is what's NOT there.
I'll bet we find out
~PLNI end-of-day buyback has begun
~PLNI support at .01-.0102 very strong here...
I'll bet they're waiting...wouldn't you? Think about it...you have all these filings that are going to make your company worth alot more, but you don't need to file them until you make the move to become a reporting company. So you wait and wait because in the meantime you can buyback your shares for dirt cheap. Then, when you have all the shares back that you want, you start doing all the filings in the same time period and watch the price go up. Then, down the road if you need to raise capital you have a much larger PPS to start from.
No problem here.
Show me where acquisitions of private companies need to be filed with the SEC if you are a pinksheet company.
shortsie you're having a great month!! You've cut your paper loss in half...wow!! I wish I could say that about other stocks I lost in...you're a lucky guy :)
notice VFIN moved up to .011...that's the next stop on this train :)
~PLNI VFIN moved ask up to .011...the ask is thin up to that point so we'll probably have some movement in that direction.
~PLNI broke through .01 and is now .0101x.0105 3x2...HOD is .0109
oops now ~PLNI .0101x.0105 3x2
~PLNI gap filling over .01x.0101 4x2 VFIN off the ask
