The ole Hayward pump and offer
only way to make money on this stock is buy low and sell the news. should plummet monday if no news which is likely.
even todays PR was more like the fertilizer PR from years ago.
Yes I have to agree. The way to make money on this stock is to read what Hayward isn't saying and realize when they have moved on from one "next big thing" to the new shiny object.
I wonder how much the company blew on modernizing their lab for test results only to fail the inspection. By the time they get it inspected again we'll all be vaccinated.
Unless the translation is wrong I don't think Takis and APDN are still involved in a human vaccine

Really have to hand it to Hayward for his either incompetence or overly optimistic lies

Got it. And when do you expect to receive the New York State certification for the clinical labs?
James Hayward
That's a little more difficult to nail down. New York State is working very hard to keep up with the testing demand. But we've made great progress on the assembly of our compliance documents on our proficiency testing and on our validations. So that could happen in a time frame as short as two weeks, but we're not in the position to control that.
Now today we find out the inspection just happened 2 months later in October and then there is 4-6 week report delay. Are we supposed to assume Hayward didn't know the report delay when he gave "Could be 2 weeks"
Not much confidence in Hayward and these PRs when they don't have numbers attached to them.
I sorted the second list by LOD, where a lower LOD is better, and APDN is 17th by my count
its on the company twitter
At least their test fell in the top 20 among the ones tested by the FDA

Conference call was a rehash of the earnings call
I think you just have to take everything Hayward says and double or triple the timeline. Today's desperate last minute PR to save the share price shows this and says nothing more than we need a couple more weeks.
Was hoping with new investor relations hire we'd get better communication, but apparently not
No orders yet
"We are currently pursuing diagnostic kit contracts and, upon State certification, commercial testing contracts.”"
$432 thousand revenue. this company cannot make money to save their life
I think if they made a big order of kits we wouldve heard about it by now
Sold out of most of my position. I think there is a chance an offering is coming in order to buy more robots as Hayward said in last conference call
Anyone who sold on last pop waiting to buy back in? Debating whether or not there will be capital raise shortly
Takis update about clinical trials in fall

Hayward has never hesitated to completely decimate the stock price with an offering as soon as it begins to rise though. Maybe this time is different, or maybe not
Depends where their focus in. In the long term vaccines might be the money-maker, but in short term its likely test kits. Hayward said they could scale quickly to produce test kits, but would need to buy more robots if they wanted to do so. Those robots likely aren't cheap
This company has been looking for its bread/butter for as long as I've been here which is a couple years. Vaccines and test kits may be it, but we've had a lot of verticals which weren't the moonshot they were advertised to be (Cotton, pharama marking, fertilizer, marijuan)
That being said. If management wants to supply millions of test kits they will likely need to buy a lot of expensive robots (as per last conference call) which may require an offering for funds. Company only has like 10 million cash (if that) right now
They did a reverse split and then offering at the end of 2019 which killed everyone's breakeven price unless you averaged down a ton. Management recently filed documents to allow additional offerings if necessary of up-to 50 million

Management could do an offering soon. Lots of people have gotten burned on this stock from share price going up, management doing a raise and then everyone left holding the bag.
where do you see a partnership between Takis and Reithera? I can't find anything
Aren't APDN and Rota fulfilling completely different roles here. APDN is supply the DNA while Rota is helping with logistics, admin, and research
Takis finally updated their website although its still out of date. Don't speak italian, but it looks like trials are still going forward

Hello,
Can you provide any information on the APDN's vaccine update that was supposed to be released by end of June, per this link:
https://adnas.com/covid-19-vaccine-candidate-update/
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sanjay
Hello -
The data is being generated by Applied DNA's drug development partner, Takis Biotech, and, as such, Applied DNA is waiting for Takis to make said data available for publication via press release. As it stand, it is clearly a delay relative to the timeline Applied DNA previously articulated in its press release you linked, but should not be viewed as anything more. Applied DNA will update its investors at to the outcome (positive or negative) of the dose-response trials as soon as practicable.

you mean if we get approval, if it was a sure thing you should dump all your money into it
For the short term we are a biotech company waiting on FDA approval.
