So far this is starting to look very similar to previous MJ rushes. Spikes in trading and prices, followed by slow, red periods. This amount of volume is still chump change, but compared to the 8,000 shares per day we were seeing for most of the year
Yawn. Yes, Pelosi and no one else, that's who we need to be worried about. I legitimately spend none of my time worried about what "the rich" are doing. MJ Rushes are such that you only need to reach out and take the money that's on the table. I personally enjoy that sort of arrangement. Just make money while sitting around in my underwear and not contributing any of my own labor. I cannot imagine pretending to scoff at 100k because "Pelosi." No life isn't fair, yes politicians, not just the democrats, are dirty, but this is the world we live in, and it's been that way since currency was invented after humans stopped being hunter gatherers. If you develop a method for making money on CANN while some investment bankers and hedge fund managers are losing their asses, I'm all for it. But until then, it seems like there might be some CANN trading coming up in the next few months.
You mean like the last time we had rushes when there were weeks of inflated prices and trading volume that had nothing to do with company fundamentals? Every time we've had a rush it was based on nothing but hype. Hell, one of my biggest players in 2016 didn't even have a product to sell at the time. 🤣 At one point its market cap was in the low billions.
Yeah some flipping and profits sounds about right. I think we're just seeing the word getting around about rescheduling. After AG Sessions torpedoed the CA legalization rush, it seemed like all interest was removed from the sector pretty much completely. Hemp Legalization came and went without so much as a bump in prices, so we're down to pretty much the final thing that can put some eyes back on the sector. Except, several years of zero interest gave us some bargain basement prices, and I'm all for it.
I haven't seen anything about that. I'm in the US, everything is fine over here.
Spiked at almost 19 cents so far today. Not too shabby. 52 week high is still only a quarter. 🤣 volume is still kinda chump change, but for several months, the average 10 day was only 8000 shares. Now its 153,000 shares. Other Stocks I played in previous rushes aren't doing much currently, and 2 of them don't exist anymore. To seems like CANN is once again a decent choice
Well maybe after the apocalypse it'll be a good time for trading. 🤣
If we're in the early stages of hype returning, I think you're good for a while. Days to weeks before anything really happens
The head of HHS recommends rescheduling of MJ from schedule 1 to 3. Perhaps our LONG wait is over, and finally the will of the voters will be recognized. Big volume on CANN Friday. Made some quick flips on this price action, I had picked some up just above 8 cents. Seems like a good buy right now since we're pretty much at the historic low, and interest appears to be returning to the sector.
Volume is up today. Perhaps in anticipation of rescheduling. If THAT doesn't wake up the market, nothing will.
Budgets are passed by congress, not the president. But the senate just passed a MJ research bill unanimously. And there's still a full legalization bill coming up. So Biden's stupidity regarding MJ means very little.
Been a while. I've been so bored checking my MJ portfolio. LOL
That seems a touch optimistic, but given the recent political news, it seems like we could be in for a ride regardless of the prices.
Schumer saying he wants to introduce legalization bill by April. I'm hopeful of enough bipartisan support to pass it. There's a CA sheriff literally robbing armored trucks because they're carrying state licensed MJ money, so at this point congress pretty much has to stop kicking the can down the road.
The entire OTC is going to be dumped?
What's your opinion of this stock? I don't think you've mentioned it at all before.
When is it they are going to get unlisted again?
I'm not talking of the validity of their products, and actually have never tried one. I don't drink "sports" drinks and think nearly the entirety of the supplement market is a waste of money. My point is that someone showing up randomly TODAY and asking why anyone needs these products and professing a balanced diet is odd, because, there's a multi billion dollar industry out there, and out of ALLLLL the options, he picks this one, and a nearly dead forum to preach? Come on. Like I said, that's not suspect at all.
You do realize that there's a whole supplement industry out there worth billions of dollars, right? This isn't some new concept and no one else is selling products like this. Regardless of what you may think, there's a whole hell of a lot of people who buy these and other similar products. It's also interesting you show up today after never appearing in this forum before. That's not suspect at all.
Good lord. 85 million shares today
Funny how that worked out eh? LOL. I haven't been buying a ton, but I picked up a little in the 25-28 range.
Seemed like that took a while. Glad it's done
The dilution was unfortunately necessary because otherwise the float would have been miniscule. The R/S for uplisting, I feel like they could have waited a bit and let the stock price come up on its own, rather than force it right away, though now that they are uplisted we can see what happens. Ive had shares since this was Canfield Medical, and even after the shenanigans I'm still pretty positive green, so I'm just sitting back and waiting
Interesting end to an otherwise boring day
Big volume today
We haven't been had. I've had SBEV shares since it was Canfield Medical. I'm just sitting back and waiting, same as always
Well I'd expect the uplist itself will be the catalyst. Today the volume was 126,000 shares, or 2.5x the 10 day average.
Working fine on Ameritrade for me
I'm actually not sure. The way their S1 reads the leadership seems to want it fairly soon. I expect it'll take a little time though because they don't have the minimum share price required, and IIRC, there are revenue requirements as well.
I'm here for it.
I knew the growth would continue looking good but that was surprising in the best way possible.
My whole MJ collection is red, this is the whole sector
Previously when we saw price increases like this, the spread was 10-25 cents and the price jumped wildly up and down. Now, we have a gradual climb and the spread is a nickel. I'm liking this A LOT more. I'm cautiously optimistic this continues
Dang, stepped down and left, effective immediately. Let's see where we go from here, could be good things for us.
I feel like it's a lack of interest, and visibility TBH. The growth and expansion has been great, but this is still a relatively new company with little numbers compared to other distribution companies. Great opportunity to get in and hold right now, but outside of me specifically checking for SBEV news or checking this board, I don't casually run across any news about it, nor do I see it brought up by other traders or mentioned in groups or anything like that. I know anecdotes aren't evidence, but in the other sectors I trade, this isn't the case. In my network, SBEV is the one that I know about that no one else really cares about, and the only reason I know about it is because I had Canfield shares before the reverse merge. If it wasn't for that I'd have no idea this stock even existed. I know eventually it'll grow to a point where this will change, but currently I have no local access to their products. I've never seen a bottle of Tapout in person, nor Salt Tequila. All of their stuff is so regional right now that you're not going to get the casual traders experiencing their products and becoming interested in that way.
It's not even a small majority either. Upwards of 60% of Americans across all political lines believe it should be legalized, and upwards of 90% of those same Americans believe Medical MJ should be fully legalized and researched. This continued backward thinking on just a few dipshits in DC is completely at odds with what actual voters want. I've mentioned it before, but MJ issues bring out more voters than other issues like minimum wage increases and what not. I think the market will finally wake up a bit if this thing passes the Senate, and I expect that it will.
SAFE banking act passed the house 321-101. Let's see what happens in the senate now.
Well I'm in it for the long haul, so I'm not worried about it eventually getting there. My point is, even with all this great growth and awesome reports, she's struggled to even crack $2, and shorting activity is still pretty heavy.
So in the short term, to even be considered for uplist, they'll need to do something about that share price
Uplist requirements for NYSE include a $4 share price. So just like the goal of getting on the NASDAQ, this one is out of reach until SBEV figures something out about the trading price.
