Yep, guilty as charged. I acknowledge and regret my actions and I am prepared to accept the consequences. I commit to modify my bad behavior in the future.
Checking in to jail...
Guys! It's green again today! GO WRGL!
Yep! It's still going. Nice.
So are the indicators at barchart.com. WRGL is in the "buy" rating.
Today is the 15th trading day in a row that the stock moves up.
Dunno but stock looks like it's been trending up last few trading days. Still has some ways to go but it's looking good the way it's going.
Hey by the way. News out tonight and it looks great. Check it out.
Wow. Whatever this HotOTC is their email sounded quite balanced to me. If that is supposed to be a pump they need to retire as pumpers.
I emailed WRGL this morning (info@wrgl.net) regarding Ed Gorman.
This is the response I received:
"Thank you for writing. As of yesterday these are the following new officers of Warrior Girl Corp:
Edmund J. Gorman, President
Mark M. Gibbons, CFO, Treasurer
Michael Hunter, Secretary
A press release announcing the change in management will soon follow.
Thank you for your interest in Warrior Girl Corp."
Stargrazor, read the latest press releases and it's clear that the management of AMRPC is going to become the management of Warrior Girl in the immediate future. Edward Skokos of AMRPC has appeared on two recent radio shows talking about the technology and about WRGL.
By the way, stock is trading more volume and at a higher price than it was three weeks ago.
My previous post should have read the moratorium DOES NOT apply to private or state lands nor any other lands not controlled by the federal government.
The poor IR guy. Most of them have dozens of clients and can't give any of them proper attention. Let's hope the company eventually moves this function within the company and not contracted out to an IR Firm.
The merger should mean all the goodies, e.g., the tar sand extraction technology and the land-lease rights to the land containing the oil become part of WRGL. It should dramatically increase the value of the company. Now, let's see if the rest of the world catches on to what is happening here.
Heh. Ever since I started following and then investing in WRGL i thought it was an undiscovered stock. It looks like some folks are discovering WRGL now but I suspect the best is yet to come.
Gwest, the name of the venture is slated to change to "American Resource Energy Company" (AREC).
I for one though like Warrior Girl Corp.
The technology used by WRGL does not produce any toxins, but even as the article you posted pointed out, the tar sands industry in general is very much aware of potential environmental issues.
I guess one alternative is to do nothing domestically and continue sending our dollars to nice places like Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran and Venezuela for our oil and have them in turn support terrorism, export revolution and all sorts of cool things for the world. It's amazing what wacky people will do when they have cash, our cash in particular. Wonder what the real price of imported oil would be if ALL of its costs -- political as well as environmental and financial -- were taken into account.
Chin up Eroc! The venture here has unique technology -- featured on National news programs such as CBS, ABC, 60 Minutes and NPR Radio with the CEO appearing and showing how it works. Utah has vast tar sands that have not been developed. The price of oil is going up. The political price of depending on oil from strange places like Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Venezuela is also increasing. The time is now and the potential here is enormous. The truth always comes out with time and I think all of us who have taken a position here in WRGL stock will be handsomely rewarded.
Corner, rather than pose questions here why not email the company directly at info@wrgl.net? They also have a contact form at their web site under "contact" -- http://www.wrgl.net
Corner, I just got around to writing to the company this morning so I have not heard back yet. I will post as soon as I get a response.
Liketotravel, what WRGL is getting is clearly spelled out in the last few press releases as well as at the company web site at http://www.wrgl.net.
From the press release dated June 11, 2009:
"The Agreement calls for WRGL to acquire two separate licenses for AREC oil sand and shale extraction processes plus a contract to recover oil on property controlled by AREC with proven recoverable oil reserves in excess of 60 million barrels. These deposits and the surrounding lands are the most accessible and highest-grade oil sands deposits currently under AREC control. Few people know there is more oil locked up in tar sand and oil shale in the U.S. than the total reserves known in Saudi Arabia as well as five other Middle Eastern Nations.
The Company's extraction process is one of the world's most advanced and economical systems for oil sand and oil shale extraction. These cutting edge technologies combined with rising oil prices put the company in a unique position for rapid expansion and profit."
------------------------------
From the wesite at http://www.wrgl.net (on the front page)
"MERGER INFO: WRGL has entered into an acquisition agreement of oil and sand extraction technologies and land-lease agreements controlled by American Resource Petroleum Company. Once these are merged into the company, Warrior Girl Corp will change its name to American Resource Energy Corp (AREC) and the key management of AMRPCO will take over as management of the firm."
-------------------------------
So...in a nutshell WRGL is getting the following: (1) Tar sand oil extraction technologies, (2) land-lease rights that currently contain significant oil, and (3) new management.
Corner, I sent an email to the company via the website form at http://www.wrgl.net and will report back what they say regarding the timetable for production. Last I heard it was fairly soon.
I have been following WRGL for some time now, many months as you can see from my posts here, and can assure you this is no scam. I think one person who has no familiarity with the company saw WRGL being profiled by promoters and assumed the worst. The promotion of the company apparently had the effect of introducing the company to new investors and raising the share price rapidly. Not that the stock did not deserve to trade higher, but the fact this came about from promotion and so quickly may have bothered some people; not sure.
I've always thought WRGL will be a winner. It's at the right place, at the right time with the right technology.
Liketotravel, thanks for your advice but many of us have been shareholders here for a long time, way before any promotional activities that seem to have drawn your ire and feel comfortable, nay, excited to take a shot with the company. Obviously, this is an aggressive investment as is any other Pink Sheet or OTCBB company (and many others on Nasdaq or elsewhere for that matter)but clearly we feel comfortable with our decision otherwise we would not be here. If you don't feel comfortable -- as you obviously don't -- why not focus and get involved with things that you do feel comfortable with?
Coffee, I would watch how WRGL trades Monday and Tuesday before making a decision. While the stock has a ways to go upwards in my opinion (and historically has traded in the $4 to $9 range), it ran hard Friday and with unusually high volume. It's natural to expect a pullback at some point, then see the stock re-consolidate, then move up again, fall back some once more, re-consolidate again, move up once more and so forth and at some point it will find its natural trading range. It's a good sign though that many people decided to take a shot with WRGL. Reportedly there are many great things in the works for the company so it should be an exciting next few weeks.
Eroc, $1 should be doable given all that is happening. Heck, the stock used to trade at $5!
Looks like the market is waking up to the WRGL potential.
Good morning! Great to see other people start taking an interest in our Girl!
Sheesh. This is looking good.
Here is the second PR released tonight: WRGL Further Discusses Technology For Separating Oil From Tar Sands
MIAMI, June 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Warrior Girl Corp. (Pink Sheets: WRGL - News) believes it has identified the most appropriate and lucrative approach to resolving the traditional negative aspects of separating oil from tar sand and oil shale.
Traditionally, a variety of methods have been used to separate oil from tar sands and oil shale. For instance, Canada's tar sands industry relies primarily on heat (derived from natural gas) and liquid solutions but leaves a high level of toxic residue in large tailing ponds--certainly not environmentally friendly and quite expensive.
WRGL's technology is capable of separating oil from tar sand with a non-toxic liquid technology requiring no heat and minimal water, superior to any process now in operation and with procedures that are totally bio degradable, non-carcinogenic, and Earth friendly. Furthermore, by use of Pyrolitic Hydrocarbon Concentration Units WRGL can convert raw oil from tar sands into a gaseous state, and then reconstitute said gasses into syngas. Although the technology to do this requires heat, it does not require natural gas, and can actually be instituted using the original raw product as its heating source, and no harmful gases or products are released into the atmosphere. Using this second system allows not only the extraction of the oil, but converting syngas into marketable fuel products without further refining, e.g., asphalt products, fertilizers, diesel, jet fuel and other transportation products. This process takes low-cost feed stock and converts it into high-value products while helping reduce U.S. dependence on foreign oil. A third technology may be licensed to add bio-diesel to the product list.
The Company's licensed extraction technology yields nearly 98.9% of the available oil present in tars sands, oil shale, tires, coal etc. This process is considered "green technology" and truly friendly to the environment. The left over sands and inert byproducts are considered oil-free and suitable for sale as a premium construction material, as well as clean and non-hazardous landfill.
With uncertainty in both price and continuity of crude oil supplies, the potential for tar sands and oil shale production in the United States has reached an enhanced emphasis. This, combined with the overwhelming concern for developing environmentally friendly energy production has created a unique opportunity for the development of domestic tar sands and oil shale reserves. WRGL's goal is to be at the forefront of this endeavor.
About Warrior Girl Corp.: The Company is dedicated to helping achieve effective energy independence for the United States using unconventional methods and new technologies.
Here is the first: WRGL Updates Investment Community on Acquisition of AREC Assets
MIAMI, June 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Warrior Girl Corp. (Pink Sheets: WRGL - News) is pleased to announce that the Acquisition Agreement signed with American Resources Energy Company ("AREC") last month is moving forward according to schedule. The Agreement calls for WRGL to acquire two separate licenses for AREC oil sand and shale extraction processes plus a contract to recover oil on property controlled by AREC with proven recoverable oil reserves in excess of 60 million barrels.
These cutting edge technologies combined with rising oil prices put the company in a unique position for rapid expansion and profit.
AREC President Edmund Gorman states, "AREC stands as a leader in this field and with the proposed transaction between AREC and Warrior Girl, the sky's the limit. The U.S. could be the next Saudi Arabia, but in the area of oil sands/shale."
The transaction between WRGL and AREC should materially increase shareholder value.
About Warrior Girl Corp. The Company is dedicated to helping achieve effective energy independence for the United States using unconventional methods and new technologies.
About AREC. American Resource Energy Company is a privately held developer of new extraction technology and producer / distributor of products derived from tar sands and oil shale. Two press releases out tonight.
Sauce, WRGL used to trade in the $5 range! There is PLENTY of upside potential here. I'm somewhat surprised it's even trading where it is now. Any real buying out to propel this stock nicely.
George, I picked some more shares up yesterday and up goes the price of the stock again today. I have a feeling there can't be much stock in the float.
Eroc, I picked some more shares up today, but only 5,000 shares and now I wish I had bought a few more. Got to believe the price is going WAY higher.
Stock is looking great! Awesome day WRGL!
So true that we need to focus on utilizing resources here in the U.S. and minimizing our dependence on strange places in the world, such as the Middle East or Mr. Chavez in Venezuela.
yes, it looks great! Wouldn't be surprised if this helps our stock go up
Looks great. This should help to put us on the map
Stockpro33 it's got to! As it is I can't believe it's trading where it is. One year ago this stock was at $6.00!
Eroc, what's amazing is that the Utah tar sands/tar shale have taken so long to be developed. Almost all of the oil out of Canada is from tar sand! The U.S. could in theory eventually become energy self-sufficient just from the deposits it has in tar sands!
