Aksarben. Lol
I'm in for the long haul. 2011! Everyone says they should have gotten in on Amazon or AWS but it took 20 years for them to make money so the stock was low a long time before they used their infrastructure to sell stuff on line. One of the successes of NEC was to create a niche then fill it with a subsidiary. I think that will be the case for NIO and IBC. One will create a need the other will fill it. I don't see IBC making SP headway for a couple years though. More time for me to get to my goal position.
Looking fwd to tomorrow and the 21st.
No one is talking about what happens many times when the stock rises to a certain level. A standard split. Seems reasonable to me because of the low stock dilution. MHO, but how far am I off base here?
Big solar storms (KP7) from 2 CMEs a couple days ago and coronal holes. These always put tech on its heels. Some places more than others but...
Mark said "...Strong demand from the semiconductor equipment manufacturing industry continues to drive higher sales for our beryllium-aluminum alloy products..."
I wonder what sales would look like if one of the the aluminum alloy products was with a critical mineral. Like say.... scandium?
Thanks Nebraskan
I would think Mark will do that on Clamon countdown on Fox if he has that info.
I like the Friday trend in sp. Big week next week. I have a bottle of Bellvini and a Padron ready for another 25% at EOW.

Got this off investopedia
The Nasdaq requires firms to already have 1.25 million publicly-traded shares with a collective market value of $45 million. Both the NYSE and the Nasdaq require a minimum security listing price of $4 per share.3
That math is correct but I believe to goal is to get on the NASDAQ. That target would be $3 a share and that might happen anyway before the merger is complete. IFF that is the case then status quo. IFF not, then it really depends upon the SP at the time of the contract the the NASDAQ. Not likely, IMO, to be 1:5 but 1:2 or 1:3. It may be a non issue... I hope.

That was my thought a year or so ago... been in acquisition mode ever since. The two companies (Nio & IBC) seem like perfect bedfellows... so to speak, later when the scandium starts coming up. Fingers crossed.
I agree. Been waiting over a decade for this to take off. NASDAQ will bring the funds. I am happy for Mark and crew... and us longs..lol
What made me smile was that they expect to be on NASDAQ afterwords. Oh yeah baby! None if this "halting because the stock is going up" stuff
11 years for me fella's. My only regret was I had so little to put towards this project... I'm a long so in for a dime and out with a couple 10 spots...fingers crossed. Lol

AO, now that IS optimistic

SK20,
May all the longs, WW, have their own Independence Day... sooner rather than later... have an exceptional ID!

DM,
2024? Hmmmm. Strangely comfortable with that. I'll get the first round of Old Fashioneds

Done! Lil hickup today. Been through too many of these to worry about it. 2025 sounds good to me.
I'm in there for that retirement pardoo! Would prefer it a year or 2 earlier though. Lol. Go NIO (and the Aves!)
5mt
I hope to see at least $1-1.50. I am optimistic.
I agree Chico... there is a need for expediency. Better start spending that 200mil or they will lose 10% of its buying power to inflation.

OI,
You and I are neck and neck and eye to eye. I have been around about that long and it is my exit strategy to sell off 1/4 at a time... depending on the eventual dividends. My full on retirement is also about 6 or 7 years but would definitely be much sooner if this hits the way I think it will. Good luck my long friend.

Grunt,
That's why it threw me. The article is talking roughly 3.5-5 miles across!
Nice!
What struck me was the 6-8km diameter. That is a huge deposit.

AO,
I go to the abstract. Here is a copy
Abstract
The lower Paleozoic Elk Creek carbonatite is a 6–8-km-diameter intrusive complex buried under 200 m of sedimentary rocks in southeastern Nebraska. It hosts the largest known niobium deposit in the U.S. and a rare earth element (REE) deposit. The carbonatite is composed of several lithologies, the relations of which are poorly understood. Niobium mineralization is most enriched within a magnetite beforsite (MB) unit, and REE oxides are most concentrated in a barite beforsite unit. The carbonatite intrudes Proterozoic country rocks. Efforts to explore the carbonatite have used geophysical data and drilling. A high-resolution airborne gravity gradient and magnetic survey was flown over the carbonatite in 2012. The carbonatite is associated with a roughly annular vertical gravity gradient high and a subdued central low and a central magnetic high surrounded by magnetic field values lower than those over the country rocks. Geophysical, borehole, and physical property data are combined for an interpretation of these signatures. The carbonatite is denser than the country rocks, explaining the gravity gradient high. Most carbonatite lithologies have weaker magnetic susceptibilities than those of the country rocks, explaining why the carbonatite does not produce a magnetic high at its margin. The primary source of the central magnetic high is interpreted to be mafic rocks that are strongly magnetized and are present in large volumes. MB is very dense (mean density 3200??kg/m3) and strongly magnetized (median 0.073 magnetic susceptibility), producing a gravity gradient high and contributing to the aeromagnetic high. Barite beforsite has physical properties similar to most of the carbonatite volume, making it a poor geophysical target. Geophysical anomalies indicate the presence of dense and strongly magnetized rocks at depths below existing boreholes, either a large volume of MB or another unknown lithology.
All of mine are in the Roth but, I could only buy 300 USD at a time. (Work deal) a little short of my target so I am making it up in IBC.
I hope so as well, OI. I am in nearly the exact same boat. On board since 2012. My only regret is that I didn't have more to put in through my Roth.

Ok, no dividends until debt is paid (3-4yrs of production) then roughly 4-5%. My not to terribly humble but optimistic opinion. True be told, if that is the case, depending on their fiscal year I would only sell 2/3. Need two other high yields to get a check every month in my retirement. Timing should be just about right.
Govt money RARELY comes without strings. Lots of them. That said I have been thing the same thing since Trump made the list and the Dems agreed. Hell, thats pretty much the only agreement they have had in the last 8-10 years! My two cents. Financing anounced - sp spike to 6 and comes back to rest at 4.5. They move to NASDAQ ad it goes up to 10. When they start selling product SP=15 and goes up to level off at 32 over the course of 3 years. Why 32? 5 mil target! Duh! Lmao
Putz,
One sentence really perked me up on page 25
". The DU–niobium alloy process is critical, as NNSA does not have an alternative material it
can use. NNSA plans to produce qualified ingots of DU-niobium alloy by October 2023,40 and any delays beyond that will affect the current
schedules of these programs."
You smell that? Mmmmmmoney!

Do you think Lind was some of that 7mil sold? It was above .97 a good amount of time.

Your fingers to Gods ears!
Me too
Nope the paddle boat has plastic on it. Remember all the kayakers that paddled their plastic boats in their wetsuits out to the oil rig to protest fossil fuels? Pretty sure some of them were politicians.
Mon,
Options are part of a compensation package. Like medical, dental and Vision insurance. They will probably exercise every year or every quarter now that the price is up a some and makes it worth it. Its just part of their pay, I wouldn't read too much into it. At least that is the way I looked at it.
PM,
Lol. I did serve in the Air Force. No need to thank it was an honor, privilege and a blast!
My nic is about money. Target retirement. A man has to have goals and signing in everyday keeps it fresh in my mind. Kind of a N.V. Peale/ Napoleon Hill type of think. Let you know if it works in 4 or 5 years.
Insiders can only trade during a specific time of year. The window is small. Anyone who is going to exercise their options does it at once. I had options as an engineer and that's how they worked. Not sure how that dalutes the rest though. We were granted X options at a specific price over a period of 5 years. One waits until the price point is less than current share price. Then one buys them for the price point and sells them for the current share price. Taxed at capital gains but the company and individual is not taxed for FICA so it saves the individual and company 7.5% each. I believe that is why you see them exercising at once.
MHO

Epoc Times today. Interesting timing. Of course the bull has to get by the house and senate, but there seems to be bi-partisan support.

I concur AO. I was worried I would not hit my target position prior to F announcement, but since I have, its about waiting it out and watching the rise. I'm not going anywhere for at least four years. I will re position in that time if certain high yield stocks become a deal, but the lions share will remain to see what the yield will eventually be.
Kind regards,

Right on, Naksarben (lived in Omaha ??)
My first purchase was at .25 and a few weeks later it was a dime. I got happy because I could buy so many more with the budget I had. Same now. If folks want out I'm fine. Still up .30-.40 a share and dont retire for a few more years. This stock WILL make me happy by then Im sure. But thats my strategy. Everyone must decide when its time. But if you would wait til next week when my roth is funded again. Lol
Good one N
