Where are the Nevada licenses?! They only received "provisional" licenses from the state. Local governments then decide who to choose from the pool of companies with state provisional licenses. Not a word and now we are being distracted by IVXX.
TRTC was supposedly to have an operation licensed and running by Q2 2015, well we are in Q2 2015 and no construction and no licenses. You would think there would have been an update on this by now, since two months remain in the quarter...
Where is the business from Nevada? Why do we not have updates from Reno? TRTC was supposed to begin operations by mid March according to their last update in January.
where is the news SFE?
Downgraded by who? Where is the evidence?
I agree Blakedog, if for example TRTC will finally state they received an actual permit to do anything Nevada, cultivate, produce, distribute - this I think is what some people are waiting for (I am one of them) in the short term, but the long-term depends on this case and how the Fed will react to the judge's decision.
People need to recognize the importance of her decision on our investments, if she goes friendly, we get rich and people get medicine! I hope you are correct!
Eyes on Schweder Case!!! 3/11 is the date!!!
None of those items you list will be a major catalyst for movement of stock price to go above $.30 - the most important issue is legalization, no big investor is going to risk millions on something that someone else can easily take away.
In less than 2 Weeks Judge Kimberly Miller will give her opinion in the Schweder Case that would give Congress cover and justification to reschedule cannabis - this is the catalyst for the entire sector - and if Judge Miller rules in favor of Schweder stock prices will double and triple across the sector. And this is why you are seeing so much caution early, I think as we get closer to the decision on 11 March 2015, you will see a progressively positive yet cautious advance in the share price of TRTC and other viable mmj companies.

Schweder Marijuana Hearing Concludes; Ruling Expected Within 30 Days
Images medical mj In a packed courtroom, Judge Mueller heard final arguments on the defense's motion challenging the constitutionality of the federal classification of marijuana as an illegal Schedule I controlled substance. The judge did not rule on the motion, stating that she would do so as soon as she can and within the next 30 days.
The defense emphasized how irrational it is for marijuana to be prohibited under federal law as having "no accepted medical use," now that 23 states and the District of Columbia have legalized medical marijuana. The prosecutor admitted that there is "encouraging research" showing marijuana's medical value but claimed we're "not there yet."
The judge gave no indication which way she will decide.
this is what they released 4 December 2014 it is almost identical to this press release except they pushed out the dates!
December 04, 2014 18:54 ET | Source: Terra Tech Corp.
Las Vegas, Dec. 4, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Terra Tech Corp. (TRTC) is pleased to update shareholders on its Nevada Medical Cannabis efforts. The company recently announced that MediFarm, MediFarm I, and MediFarm II, have all received provisional certificates from the State of Nevada in each local jurisdiction where they applied for a Medical Marijuana Establishment license. Collectively, these subsidiaries were issued a total of 4 Dispensary provisional certificates, 2 Cultivation provisional certificates and 2 Production provisional certificates spanning both Northern and Southern Nevada. Below is a summary of current status in each region:
City of Las Vegas Dispensary- MediFarm received a provisional registration certificate from the State of Nevada Department of Health and Human Services Division of Public and Behavioral Health on 11/3/2014. Subsequently, MediFarm submitted its Las Vegas Business License Application to the City of Las Vegas Department of Planning Business Licensing Division on 11/12/14. The application included documentation submitted to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department to initiate a second series of background checks for all owners of MediFarm. The Company is currently working with an architectural company and general contractor to design and ultimately submit final construction documents to the Las Vegas Building and Planning Departments for permitting. The company anticipates this process to take approximately 75 days. Once construction documents have been approved, MediFarm will begin construction. After completing construction and obtaining all required approvals and certifications from the local and state agencies, MediFarm will commence operations.
Clark County 2 Dispensaries, Cultivation and Production- MediFarm received four provisional registration certificates for 2 dispensaries, a cultivation and a production facility from the State of Nevada Department of Health and Human Services Division of Public and Behavioral Health on 11/3/2014. MediFarm also has received approval from the Clark County Department of Comprehensive Planning-Land Use Planning on June 25, 2014 for its cultivation and production facilities.
MediFarm has not yet received final approval from the Clark County Department of Comprehensive Planning-Land Use Planning for its two dispensaries and is awaiting a final determination from the Clark County Commissioners. The Clark County Commissioners voted to delay rendering a final determination 12/3/2014 due to litigation. Recently the company has been made aware that certain applicants in Clark County have filed a lawsuit naming the State of Nevada Department of Health and Human Services Division of Public and Behavioral Health as well as several other applicants. Terra Tech Subsidiary MediFarm was named but not yet served the lawsuit. For more infohttps://www.clarkcountycourts.us/Anonymous/default.aspx Case # A-14-710488C
This suit does not affect the company's Clark County cultivation or production permits or any of thecompany's initiatives in the other jurisdictions where it received provisional certificates.
The Company is currently working with an architectural company and general contractor to design and ultimately submit final construction documents to the Clark County Building and Planning Departments for permitting for all four facilities that have been issued provisional registration certificates from Nevada. Once we receive a determination from the Clark County Commission on final approval of our dispensary locations and after construction documents have been approved, MediFarm will begin construction on all premises that have been approved in Clark County. The company anticipates this process to take approximately 95 days, for the cultivation and production facilities, before construction begins. MediFarm will commence operations after completing construction and obtaining all required approvals and certifications from the local and state agencies.
Reno Dispensary- MediFarm I received a provisional registration certificate from the State of Nevada Department of Health and Human Services Division of Public and Behavioral Health on 11/3/2014. The Company is currently working to compile all the required documents necessary to submit a business license application to the City of Reno Business License Division. The Company is currently working with an architectural company and general contractor to design and ultimately submit final construction documents to the City of Reno Building, Planning and Engineering Division for permitting. The company anticipates this process to take approximately 80 days before construction begins. After completing construction and obtaining all required approvals and certifications from the local and state agencies, MediFarm I will commence operations.
Washoe County Cultivation and Production- MediFarm II received provisional registration certificates from the State of Nevada Department of Health and Human Services Division of Public and Behavioral Health on 11/3/2014. The Company is currently working to compile all the required documents necessary to submit a business license application to the Washoe County Business Department of Community Development. After completing construction and obtaining all required approvals and certifications from the local and state agencies, MediFarm II will commence operations. The company anticipates beginning construction within Q2 2015.
"The litigation in Clark County is potentially holding up opening our 2 dispensary locations and we will have to spend some effort navigating through the process. However, it is the cultivation and production facilities that take the most time to construct and a retail storefront is not needed until the Company is well into construction on those facilities. We were fortunate to receive approval in the City of Las Vegas for a retail dispensary and the Company is moving forward on that project. Even if Clark County decides not to approve any additional locations it appears that they will be left with only 10 storefronts. The State has said they will not issue any additional provisional certificates. This means either we get additional locations in the County or far less competition and greater potential market share for our City location," explains Derek Peterson, CEO of Terra Tech. "The Company is thrilled at the opportunity we have within the state. With our multiple permits, we have all the state's major markets covered regardless of what happens within Clark County. Our focus now is to aggressively work through the local administrative process and break ground as soon as possible. "
The Company will issue additional updates to investors in the near future as milestones are reached.
What a disappointing update. According to the guidance they gave in November last year, they were supposed to achieve these milestones by March of 2015, now everything is being pushed out another 6 - 9 months. And they still do not have the permits secured! (what the $%##^?). This stock is not going to go anywhere until they have those permits in hand (or the Fed decriminalizes mmj).
Nicely Stated.
This is a stupid move on DP's part! TRTC should focus on what it has (will have) - a couple of dipsenseries are not worth the drain on time and money, and is certainly not worth creating enemies.
Keep your eye on the ball DP!
All of this rolling Blum Oakland into TRTC is mere speculation - no one from TRTC has mentioned this (at least until laws change). This hypothetical was a means to try to increase the pps by a member prone to hyperbolic projections "$,l,e,e,k...."
TRTC has much potential and at this moment should be trading .35 - .40 range. But this is the OTC.
I agree.
Mgrove77 - thanks.
This board is filled with noise from both sides and I would not be surprised that some collusion is taking place on this board. And it is only one of a few boards that has so many people at each others' throats.
Same position as you. IMO the only thing that matters in the short term is the Fed/Courts and within three weeks there will be a federal court decision that will send (if in favor of the defendant) a strong message in favor of decriminalizing/legalizing mmj - this, I believe is what the intelligent long-term investors are waiting for. If the ruling is in the mmj favor, then you will see the majority of the stocks in this sector begin to double and triple in pps. If the ruling is not in our favor, then you will see some sharp selling and a mild rebound. I believe it will be in our favor - three weeks is not too long to wait - so balance your portfolio and look for companies that will be the foundation for the mmj industry (i.e. cultivators, producers, greenhouse builders/technologies, etc).
So on this board I have learned not to get sucked into the hype, but only to muse about its ridiculous, pedantic nature.
This is from 4 December - again, an update would be nice and perhaps help lift the share price.
And as StevenRisk stated - they need to start acting like a corporation that belongs on the NASDAQ.
DP needs to provide an update on the cultivation and production facilities. That is all we care about - that is what TRTC needs in order to generate significant and immediate revenue - this will attract investors in an honest and assured way. DP's talk about acquisition (being acquired) is stupid and is distracting and can be perceived negatively (which some have seized upon). It has been more than thirty days since the Nevada license announcements - what is the progress on the cultivation facilities - have they broken ground, ordered equipment, hired employees, etc.? This is the press release that I am looking for, and perhaps many others!
DP, stop smoking the dope and focus on building a solid cultivation and production infrastructure for TRTC, this is what will attract more investors and establish TRTC brand(s).
DP should shut the F- up about being acquired, etc. He needs to focus on building the infrastructure of the company, especially the cultivation and production - these are the key to TRTC's success - the dispensaries will be low profit, high competition. In addition, what the F- is he doing with Grow-Op, where are the revenues - why are they not going after growers in mmj states to sell their products, where is the sales force, where is the product?
You are correct on branding and IVXX was a rather shrewd move (including the website names).
Brace for mid-Feb when we expect a ruling from the Schweder case which will force the Fed's hands to reschedule - we should see some increased volume and pps across the sector - buy the companies that will build the infrastructure for cultivation/production (including manufacturers of grow equip., etc.).
So hold on to those TRTC shares - if you are long, ignore the noise!

New Schweder Marijuana Case Briefing Schedule
Last week, the district court issued this minute order that postpones the briefing and hearing regarding the Schedule I marijuana evidentiary hearing in the Schweder, et. al., case for about two weeks:
MINUTE ORDER (Text Only) issued by Relief Courtroom Deputy J. Streeter for District Judge Kimberly J. Mueller on 12/11/2014: Pursuant to the parties stipulation [370] and good cause appearing, the Initial Post-Hearing Briefs filing date, regarding defendant Brian Justin Pickard, is extended to 12/31/2014; Simultaneous Responsive Briefs filing date is extended to 1/21/2015 and the Motion Hearing is CONTINUED to 2/4/2015 at 09:00 AM in Courtroom 3 (KJM) before Judge Kimberly J. Mueller.
Yes indeed! And you will get the signal soon enough from the federal courts, which for the Schweder case in CA., the judge was to rule by mid-January but the hearing was continued to 4 February. I believe this postponement gave leverage to shorts, etc., and gave them an opportunity to drive the TRTC (and the mmj sector as a whole) pps down. I strongly believe that POTUS or Congress are waiting for the court case for some political cover, moreover, they would be making the decision for the court (which they do not want to do).
Hold on to those TRTC shares - if you are long, ignore the noise!

Waiting on one more branch of government to consent, this will happen by 14 January (hopefully) when the 9th District Court of CA (Fed v. Schweder) will rule on the constitutionality for cannabis to be classified as a Schedule 1 substance. If the ruling is for the defendants, this will send a signal to Congress and the Executive to move forward and legislate to decriminalize mmj (which they in a sense did with the omnibus spending bill just passed). POTUS and Congress will not move to this step unless the Judiciary publicly give its approval. Congress and the courts do not want to see hundreds of cases brought up because the Schweder case sets precedence, so they will be forced to legislate. My opinion is that "big" money will start coming in around 14 January, perhaps sooner.
Do you dispute that the SEC approved TRTC's use of $6.8m to "launch dispenseries under its MediFarm subsidiary in California, Nevada and New York"? Just because stories like this do not appear in media outlets that appeal to your sensibilities does not mean they lack fact, context, and solid analysis. You cannot stop what is happening, mmj will be decriminalized and TRTC will lead the industry.
Thank you for the more detailed contextualization of the the insider trading. If you want to get technical about it, the total value is (191,963*.38 (200ma))= $-72,946 of insider trading for 9 months - a mere pittance and certainly is not indicative of a pump and dump stock as some indicate on this board.
3 Weeks to Schweder case ruling.

End of February to mid March (longer perhaps for the cultivation facilities - which they need to place of the majority of their focus on ensuring a timely start-up - cultivation will generate the most revenue).
That is a nonsense statement.
Should I consider what?
By the way, my friends call me Zam.
After the ruling in the Schweder case in CA, you will see the Senate approve the House law on allowing banks to engage with mmj businesses, that will happen at the same time or before Congress reschedules Cannabis - this is on the fast track. The Fed understands opportunity cost, as each month passes that it does not gain a share of the mmj/rec revenue, and it knows it will be the top dog in the tax revenue chain.
Hold the TRTC shares.
No, but growing public realization that cannabis has been decriminalized in mmj states has resulted in a more nuanced interpretation of the direction of this industry. In addition, perhaps the shorts have altered their behavior as well!
Sorry, link to previous post
http://www.tokeofthetown.com/2014/12/colorado_medical_pot_sales_outpace_recreational_in.php
and an additional article that clarifies the Fed's position on the amendments of the omnibus spending bill:
http://www.tokeofthetown.com/2014/12/us_pot_raids_are_finished_under_bill_signed_by_oba.php
Colorado will take in 80-100 mil dollars in taxes/fees/licenses by the end of the year, that means CO's mmj and rec business is worth approx. $550-675 mil in annual revenues. CO has been a great test case for the past year, a decrease in the crime rate and an increase in revenues - cannot get better than this - soon a study will show that CO is one of the happier places to live, like Sweden, Norway, etc.
The Fed sees these figures (crime and revenue) and shaking its head, hmmm, maybe I (the Fed) want some of that. But the Fed lacks the "balls" to act in the manner that CO, WA, etc., legislatures have, so they will do it stealthily. Wait and see.
Moreover, the revenues generated (by an average size state) validate the industry value of $25-35 billion, and that is only in sales of the stuff and does take into consideration all other aspects of the industry and associated industries, putting it at nearly $50 billion - tooooooo much for the Fed to resist.
Hold those TRTC stocks!
What? Your post is not clear.
Congress is not stupid, many members know of the case in California. The recent DoJ prohibition (defunding for cannabis operations) was another trial balloon. Congress does not have the courage at this moment to act alone. The court case provides members of Congress coverage and it will give them wiggle room to decriminalize cannabis, that is, reschedule it (because this what the California case will do, it will ignite a series of lawsuits across the USA that it would force the hand of Congress (before time is wasted in the supreme court). This how it will unfold and this is how a new industry will be introduced that has many positive attributes, especially in the medical sector, and that will generate for local, state, and federal governments.
So hold those TRTC stocks at least until 14 January.
Do not try to undermine the significance of the amendments on mmj and hemp. It is new, previously it was the DEA that was told to keep its hands off, now it is the DoJ that is prohibited in interfering with the mmj businesses in the states listed in the amendment (32 of them)! The two are out of the business now and in the near future, will be for good!
This is great news and when we get the 14 January ruling (Cal. fed. court), then you will never see TRTC at these levels again. So hold your stocks, 27 days to the ruling, not a bid window for potentially significant returns.
Sleek I rarely agree with you pps predictions, specifically in the very near term (you have a tendency to be too optimistic), however, your analysis usually has some value. Here you touch on some important items that you recognized for the past year that TRTC is an exceptional play and life-changing stock.
The Dominion "dilution" has been overstated, there has been no serious run in selling to the level of dilution - the pps plays of the recent quarter were/are driven by shorts - the average volume for TRTC does not demonstrate dilution, for the majority of sales have been in small allotments. Dominion - overstated and should be ignored.
The most important thing to watch (and it does not matter at this point what TRTC does) is the Fed. The Fed has already begun the process of decriminalizing/legalizing mmj with the recent omnibus spending bill which withholds funding from the DoJ (and previously DEA) for any operation relating to mmj, basically decriminalizing mmj in 27 states. The next move will come from the courts, 14 January 2015, Schweder case in federal court in California which will force the hand of Congress to reschedule cannabis, and Congress could act, believe it or not, within six months of Judge Mueller's ruling. So this is the heart-throb moment in the very near term and if the Judge rules positively, then the whole sector (so cover some other stocks) will benefit and TRTC's stock will...
To your point on Blum Oakland, etc., these will not be folded into TRTC until DP and SI are 99.9% confident the Fed will not touch their stuff (if you know what I mean). So when the above happens, that is when these private entities will be acquired by TRTC. In addition, the NB deal will not happen until the Fed decriminalizes cannabis, TRTC needs the funds, etc., to build-out Nevada operations, specifically cultivation and production operations. They cannot lose focus on Nevada.
TRTC has an excellent plan and the only factor is the Fed and it is showing signs of finally realizing how stupid the war on cannabis is! Hold those stocks! Do not let the shorts take your future.
POTUS signs omnibus bill - clears the way for investors in mmj.
POTUS signs omnibus bill, great news for mmj sector, with this and 14 January ruling, will force hand of Congress to reschedule cannabis and decriminalize it. Opportunities abound.
14 January, Schweder case in California will decide this and force the Fed to reschedule cannabis! 14 January 2015, simply amazing. Go Judge Mueller.
Have you noticed that no "main stream" outlets are talking about the amendments in the omnibus spending bill (about to be signed by POTUS) that DEFUND the Department of Justice in its war on medical marijuana, this basically decriminalizes mmj? Perhaps when POTUS signs the bill, there will be "main stream" news of this, finally, and the sector will respond, specifically TRTC (and with the exception of many stupid stocks). Until then, those who believe TRTC is a viable, long play must weather the onslaught of short sales.
Hold your shares, do not be fooled by the fear mongering.
So what! she sold 1.3% of her total holdings, that was approximately $76,404, perhaps the equivalent of an annual salary?
POTUS will sign the bill - Congress decriminalizes MMJ
Correct, who cares about DC, this is just noise. When the major news outlets clarify that Congress and the President approved a bill that included provisions to de-fund DOJ activities relating to mmj - that means no FBI, CIA, prosecuters, etc., to bother mmj businesses and that clears the way for financing of mmj businesses. This is incredibly big news!!!
By the way LPR, "irregardless" is not a word, you need "regardless", so regardless of the negative press that you spew, there is no denying that the whole sector will benefit from this news and will be led by TRTC.
I anticipate much quiet from shorts this coming week and as such there will be much quiet by posters who spread all the negative press on TRTC.
The feds have just cleared the way for the best positioned mmj company to operate in a less risky environment - everything is slowly coming together - hold those stocks.
POTUS and the Senate will sign the omnibus bill, big news, Congress decriminalizes medical marijuana. Prepare for a nice Saturnalia present. All eyes on D.C.
