Wanted to help out buying some more but can't do a new account at this time.

In my opinion the way to do the advertising is to have a local printer so that when an ad comes in you can quickly slid it into the correct spot. Most of the stories and art should be done well in advance but not bound till the last possible minute.
Doesn't work like that shipping from China (I don't think).
Here in the Midwest, there are jobs open all the time for advertising people (sales people). I think that is because getting the ads is not as easy as this board might think.

Advertising is one of the toughest fields.

As Tony states Chris has lots of other places to sell so he is probably doing OK for himself.

Maybe a good idea for Benny to get some dedicated person to handle this or maybe get out there and do it himself which he said he has done.

All I can say at this point is my local Westfield Comic store (Madison, WI) does not have REDG coming in on 12/3/14. Was told release date is showing TBD. Comic store said check back on 12/3/14 for next week receiving list (12/7/14). Hopefully a lot of what I am reading means TRU is taking all the copies or Benny needs to talk to us.

Hopefully we do not have to wait till spring to see confirmation of money but I would think we could get a pretty good idea after the first TRU is delivered by looking at and counting the nunber of ads. Still won't give us better than a ballpark but it is better than waiting till spring.
Hopefully Benny will share with us on how they are doing much sooner than even November. Right Benny???

How long does the TRU deal go for?
I remember making a note during the presentation where it sounded like TRU had a really quick exit if this doesn't work but then Benny referred to this being more like a partnership which leads me to believe that even a less than stellar start will not get them tossed.
However I do don recall how long the TRU deal will run for.
Any help?

Good recap. I am most excited to see they are shooting for the profit right out of the gate which they should. I also agree Benny seemed hurt that we would even consider him to spend our money foolishly.
But for me mostly I am very excited to hear of the possibilities for movie deals even though he said he could not get into this yet. And he said in studio/production meetings there were unexpected other deals coming. For now, TRU deal hits all the major targets they are looking for and Benny says they (TRU)consider it more of a partnership. That tells me they will work well together should there be any stumbles.

I wrote down that he said 35CMP for interiors which would equate to $25,000 week but they had no takers yet. Then he talked about double spreads. Didn't say if these were sold. Said they have about 1/2 of slots filled and 45 days or 1 1/2 months to get it done. Chris Longo has help and Benny said he had also done advertising sales
