You must have missed the part about the mine still having 15 people working at the mine. All are capable of mining, cleaning coal, and loading onto the train.

Could not agree with you more, MB.

It really boils down to the degree of commitment and loyalty of the larger majority of miners and staff to Rick Risinger and his project. My hat is off to them! I am confident many of the laid off miners will be waiting for the call to return. And I do appreciate them!!!!

Keep in mind...The origin of an interview was from the TV station who claimed that Rick Risinger would be on tonight for another segment. A common ploy to get people on the air. I have not YET seen anything "official" indicating there actually will be an interview with Rick Risinger. Does anyone have any specific link to either refute or attest his being interviewed?

Thanks Doc, I really appreciate the employees who have stayed with Rick Risinger for the long haul. They never seem to get the credit they deserve for their dedication and loyalty. After all, it is these employees that mine the coal and ship it. It makes me a little raw when I read where local bloggers make misleading claims about people not being paid, just to personally attack the owner. I see it as an insult to the very people who are working so hard to creating a success story.

The only news that should matter at this point, is when funding is secured.

As one might expect, the negative blogger from last week has now been exposed as a unhappy "shareholder" in VHGI.

Obviously, a "short", or someone who does not attempt contacting the company, or just a tree hugger claiming to be a shareholder. Whatever the case, it is clear that he/she, has an agenda against the company.

I do not put any real credence in a blog poster, period.

Appears to me to be an activist tree hugger located about 60 miles from the mine, claiming to be in Terre Haute...Has showed up in past DD. Attacks should be a single person with multiple profile aliases Gilmour, Clint, Terre Haute, and a few others, and has posted in other "non related" Risinger threads/blogs on various local topics. All profiles are from Terre Haute, which is a little more than an hour away from the mine. I submit profile writing patterns are similar on assorted topics, complaining about poor air quality, against cutting down trees for mineral rights in 2009/2010, hunting /fishing advocate, and anti-mining in general.
Note: There many protests blogs about the Peabody Open Mine you can research, as well as Greene County stories, to form your own opinion.


Checking out other people posting on the blogs, show both pro and con statements on this blog, and posted again on other blogs, about the mine over a three year time line. Terre Haute (etal) is a persistent anti Landree Mine profile. Typical emotions from other people interacting with a evolving business going through growing pains, IMO.

One lady in late 2012/early 2013 on a blog complaining about Rick not paying her the garnished wages from a miner that owes back child support...interesting, to say the least. Last time I heard, a company is required to send witholdings of that nature to the state directly. Not something that a company has any choice or say in the matter.

Sobok, A lot of us have been doing DD for quite a while and don't trade on posts. I don't post my conversations & emails with the company here on the blog, but I compare my information against what others post. And many posters have information that I verified at a later time. I would not believe posts without independent research. You may need to reach out to the company yourself, because you/we can not control the shorts/pumpers. We can argue the fundamentals and shake out the loose ends, but if you don't see them, it might indicate you have more work ahead of you. Admittedly I promote the opportunity, and I understand the risk...and hope others do not make an investment based on my trading strategy... There is no guarantee of success on VHGI. But I have yet to sell a single share of VHGI.

Here are some baseline verifiable points for you to work from.
~Independent evaluation on value.
~EDGAR reports on recent insider trading.
~KCSA Reputable IR firm making public statements via emails and phone conversations.
~Barrier Advisors-a reputable financial originator is still contracted with VHGI.
~Indiana Power and Light has not announced any negative statements on supply issues or coal grade quality.

Not sure if you are calling the company, or sending emails. I have never posted any of my email responses from IR on the blog. And I fully understand why some information can not be shared. But every single email I have sent to Jim Bender was answered within 48 hours. You might have caught them during a time of having to deal with the old news about the former CEO. I am sure that was keeping the phones busy....Give them a few days more.

As for the insider buying, I could not have seen more confident news, unless it was the announcement we are all waiting for.

I think we heard from a post a while back that the Indianapolis Utility was not too happy about VHGI making ongoing announcements on deliveries made to them. I can appreciate that.

With all of the positive developments we have been made aware of, like the recent insider stock purchase, paper work completed on the loan, employees back to work, and still making deliveries, it's hard to explain why the current PPS is dropping. But in truth, I see it as a buying opportunity. I am still buying shares. I see the VHGI opportunity as a matter of "when", not "if".

I believe their handling of news is a very deft play, as I would prefer to read news that is so positive and certain, that once a loan funding is announced the PPS will rise. And when it does, I want the PPS to maintain the significant increases that it reaches. But admittedly, I and some others are long on VHGI for an actual investment and not for a short term flip.

Hang in there TTUFAN111. Good news is coming. Thats why we are here. Heck, even in a worst case scenario if this loan deal falls through, there surely are other options for another company to provide financing for the 65 million. They have over 1 Billion in coal reserves. It's not going anywhere until its mined. For the time being...I guess we all began to wonder when people tell us "The check is in the mail". lol

I characterize the loan as an issue of how favorable the terms are to the company, rather than it being an issue of whether they get it or not. There are a lot of companies with tons of cash, to either loan, or to buy the company with. There is bigger news waiting, in addition to the loan and 10-Q filing...The filing is just the beginning, put your seat belts on, it's going to be a great ride. VHGI has an asset of over 1 Billion dollars in coal reserves.. It has a 25 to 30 year supply of the worlds best grade coal.....nothing to sneeze at here!

VHGI Holdings most probably has made their first July train load shipment of coal to Indiana Power and Light. About a hundred cars per trainload. And contracted to make two shipments per month in 2013. In all of the excitement, I may have already lost count of how many shipments they have made under contract since April. Does anyone have a better estimate of train loads they have already shipped?
