OT... Several thousand of those were mine... Sold the day before the hit... Dumb luck... I've been watching SDRL , paying $1 a quarter, with great long term contracts, low price and lots of up side, and decided this was the time to take a good position... Still holding a thousand NTI to stay in touch... Still like it...
Pete, I still plan to be in White Bear in August...
OT…Sell or hold, as I said, I sold half…
I divided this into 3 ½ parts. One went to 500 shares of SDRL, one went to 1400 shares of CLDX , one to a basket of 400 contracts of UNXL $7 $9 $10 Jan 15 Leaps and ½ of cash.
I bought the SDRL as a 10% + dividend yielder with a great future and potential hold, the CLDX as a bio with a broad pipeline at a depressed price, and the UNXL because it is a very depressed dog I am very familiar with and have confidence in the new management.
As of today, as a percent of purchase, SDRL is 103%, CLDX is 123%, the basket of UNXL options are 238%, the cash is flat, and on total the half of NTI I sold is 149%. The other half of NTI I am holding is a little less than flat…
And I am using "jugs" prognostication and planning to re-buy NTI under $25…
I won't clutter the board with any more of this, but it had been a topic after the div...
PS.. the leemalone2k3 suggestion to sell calls is a good one... look at it, if you haven't...
I'm playing it both ways... I sold half after the divd, and looking for a break in the next 30-45 days to buy back... we will see what the better option is this time around...
Pete, I really didn't wish another month of snow and cold on Minnesota... You hardy souls deserve better... Here, today it was 70 and blue sky...
And you were right... Checking the movement in early March I got back in and it is again my #1 holding... Good ride to all on board...
I've been following this board for so long some of you seem like old friends... Over the past year and a few month I have continued to develop your kind of confidence and continue to add to NTI until it was my largest holding,,, I wont do the details, but after this div announcement it will be no more... Above .60 would have been a hold 'em and hope for better days, but at .41 it a fold 'em... Not that anyone cares, but I just wanted to say Goodby...
Pete, it'll be above zero by June... Hang in there... AJ
Tom, I havent been on the board for months... What exactly are we trying to accomplish with this complaint...???
Jugs, there is no rationality in the market... It's a crap game...I, like you, believe NTI is a good bet and plan to be in it for the long run... at least a few years... and I'm in for over 30% of total investment...
SA is nothing but a trash site for manipulators...
On 12/21/12 a friend said these are the five best, safest MLPs ... I should have bought them but I did put them in a portfolio to watch...

Tommy,
I was prepared to ride my 318,660 shares into the sunset, but now that you are determined put LSTG out of business to tickle you "feel good bone", I will stage out the $6K I can recover (out of the $26K invested) and be on my way... Sorry, LL, I had looked forward to that beer in LV...
Don't feel sorry for me... I picked up $18K on UNXL in the past 3 days, and am up 349% on CLDX...
But in has been fun watching you guys chatter, with no facts...
AJ
As Pete said a few posts ago "Some may be just using the forum to support/advance their short positions. Why else would you bash this company's performance? " Here is a case in point... He doesn't have a clue... jut bashing...
SA is also the primary tool to post bashing articles that are pure BS to support the shots...
Just poped for another 2,384... and all in... Almost a double up...
Pete, I love your on-going commentary... It's good to have investors on the board that follow the details and report it so well... It appears we were almost neighbors... I grew up just N of you, East of W on lake C and went to CCHS...
I first bought into NTi with some over 6,000 shares in mid-Janusry, took the div and sold the end of Feb (for a net over $30K)... Seeing my mistake, I bought back 3,000 (should have bought 'em all) and will probably have them and add more over the yeas... Love NTI... My wife loves the divs...
Sorry that I don't have intelligent conversation to add, but I have great confidence in NTI, so I don't follow it closely.. I have others that scare the h*** out of me that need monitoring... but, man do they have up side...
Keep up the good work...
"It's like deja-vu, all over again." Pages of 10-K and not one new fact it it... Nothing...
This board has been imagining all of the things that could have been going on, when in fact nothing has happened... NADA...
Oh, there was one fact... a quarter of a mill was paid in management fees... That was money down the rat hole, like my 318,660 shares... I'll dig 'em in a year and see it they are worth a penny or a nickel... The only thing you can bet on, is there will be another quarter of a mil paid in management fees next year...
Good luck, you'll need it... AJ
If LSTG ever gets around to leaching, here's a piece about the process... It"s a long, slow process...
http://www.kcareno.com/pdfs/mpd_heap_leach_desn_and_practice_07apr02.pdf
Excuse me, but did he say anything other than he wants to suck up some more money???
To clear up a couple of points, Steve Carr is not an excatly an employee of LSTG... Steve is an employee of Dresner Partners in Chicago and is a hired Investor Relations consultant for LSTG... His job is to take the calls and passify the caller... Lately he has not been taking the calls... Below is a company profile...
http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=1354063
Steve's direct number is 312-780-7211... I would ask that each of you on this board would call him... and post your results...
Yes, it is answered by Steve Carr's recorded message... I didn't bother to leave a 5th message... That is a fact... but not one to hang your hat on...
I'm still waiting for the first fact which would establish this is an operating company...
And unfortunately, as with you folks, my money is on the line...
LL, any response from Steve...???
LL, a question for steve... What system and provider (or even a consulting firm) is LSTG using for the leaching project... This is not a process that can be installed and run by a local cowboy...
Let's get a fact... Just one...
LL, I appreciate your prognostications, but a picture of a truck and some guys standing around the La C hills are difficult to use as facts... I'll stick my fingernails into your optimism and hang in there until I can put it in the bank or the other receptacle....
Good luck with the book, but as the saying goes, luck come to those that work hard...
Sorry, I jumbled the number of shares I hold... 318,660 Shares... But my position remains the same...
check your facts sheet... you will find none... Unless some facts emerge, it is starting to look like a scam...
Since first buying LSTG a year and a half ago at 85 cents I have been optimistic and averaged down, hoping to, at some point, come out whole... I have had several conversations with Steve Carr, all of which were "Things are going fine..." Never has there been a shred of evidence anything is really happening... In the past two weeks I have placed four calls, and left messages for a call back, to Steve... There have been no calls returned... The latest was today, and if there is no response to this call, I'm prepared to accept this so called "investment" a sham and stuff my 183,660 LSTG shares in the toilet when the facts come out, and call it a day...
If, under some unimaginable circumstance it does hit 25 cents, I'll see you in Las Vegas...
If you want a chance to make some money, look at UNXL... I'm up more in UNXL than I',m down in LSTG...
Thanks for the tip one the new Google Earth view... I use a large screen MAC that provides great resolution of Google Earth, and I see the area you have referenced across the road to the West of the tailings... Interesting... but small for a leach pile...
Also I see no scar in the tailings pile where 6 ton of material could have been removed... but 6 ton isn't much in a pile that large... and I don't recall the date it was provided...
I'll see if I can get answers to some of these questions...
Good read on the subject...

The process may work with Ag, but there is no AuS... Au does not have a salt of any kind... such as a AuS or AuSO4... and reacts with nothing... It starts as Au and ends with Au... all you have to do is pick it out of the dirt...
3MeS (s)+ 2HNO3 (aq) + 3H2SO4 (aq) ? 3MeSO4 + 3S° (s) + 2NO (g) + 4H2O
The NO+ then reacts with the mineral and oxidizes the sulphide to sulphur.
2MeS (s) + 4NO+ (aq) ? 2Me+2 (aq) + 2S° + 4NO (g)
Au is soluble only, as a complex with cyanide.
It appears to me the closest Nitrogen comes to heap leaching is the N attached to the C in cyanide...
I just put a call in to Steve...
Back from four miles on the mountainside...and now up to 29,660... last 3 trades were at .057... above my limit... but with 240,000 open, it does put a floor under it for now...
It just got bumped to 19,950... Will be hiking today...
I just checked... I bought 17,000 at the open at .055... since then every trade has been higher... The order is "til cancelled" so we will see what happens... but believe me, I'll celebrate if we never see .055 again...
Put in a buy for 272,000 at .055... we'll see what happens...
JR... If it doesn't buy today at a nickel, tomorrow I'll go in at .055 and see what happens...
Well, JR, I'm not in big time yet... Nobody wants to sell any shares at a nickel...
First, LL let me apologize for the spelling error...
and JR, my accounting was off... I currently hold 289K shares and if I get the ordered shares, I will have 589K... and an average price of .0605 per share...
LL... Great career... but I won't try and read your book... Some day I'll meet you at White's ferry when we visit our son in Boyd's MD...
There is no "beat" in this... If this puppy runs, we'll all be winners...
JR... If the 300K come through at or under the nickel, I'll be at 489.000... By the time we have our "25 cent beer party" it'll be worth $122,250...(that's if nobody steps on my egg and there's no chicken)
As one buzzard said to the other, while waiting on a branch, "Patients, HELL, let's kill something..." I just ordered 300,000 at a nickel...
The tailings pile in Parral is at 26 56.388 N 105 40.121 W on Google Earth
