You too Archie, have a great weekend. I know we've both been here for many years (since 2000 for me), it's nice to finally see this company being run by great management. Stay well my friend.

ArchieK, no worries bud, I hear ya!!

In group leadership, CDMO is ranked 2nd and BNTX is ranked 1st.

Yep, I still communicate with him sometimes. Alan lives in Florida now with his wife and family and is doing well.

Are my eyes deceiving me? $15.93?????

HA!! Glad to see there are still familiar handles here. My first purchase in Techniclone shares was in December 1999. I've been accumulating ever since and it looks like after this last management and board change, it's finally paying off. Best wishes to everyone and the old timers still here. Have a great Christmas and New Year's holiday!

Hey Gwen!!! Glad to see you're still here after all these years! Wishing allmof us shareholders the best.

Is Avid getting royalty payments for Bavi? How often are the payments and how much?
Many thanks!

What a crack-up... Thanks so much for the laughs. I'm still hopeful!

Happy Independence Day everyone!! I hope you all are enjoying the day and having a blast. Stay well..
Good to see you back Wook!!!
My bad, the authorized shares being reduced to 150mil, not 150k!!!
Why are you so down on Avid Geo? Lots of positive development has occurred since the new board took over and the old board was run out. Stock price rising. Authorized shares reducing to 150k. I agree with Endo, stock will be at $15 to $20 within two years tops.
TerryGD was such a great guy.
Hello all, I’m still here, good to see positive movement. Optimistic.
You forgot to add that Avid gets royalties in the mid teens once the IP has been developed and on the market...
Hi PW, I know you weren't implying that, my apologies for any confusion I've caused.
I was responding to what is written on the Rutgers website regarding Dr Birge along with two other "associates". Maybe it's what someone posted earlier, that they developer the protein that works in conjunction with Peregrine's main PS component??
Thanks in advance for any responses.
How can Dr. Birge/Rutgers claim to be inventors of PS targeting? Doesn't UTSW hold parents on majority of the IP? Also, what about King, Brekken, and Shan, who are co-inventors on some of the IP??
Thanks in advance for response...
Hi GolfHo,
You can add me to the list as well....
Many thanks!
I ammalso voting the Ronin card. I didn't mean to mislead in my prior post. I do believe that employees other than the CEO being on the board represents a conflict, that was what I was trying to convey.
Time for change!
IMO
I agree Gwen, hopefully many others here and whomhold shares agree with us. I still believe in the science though, and I believe a new aboard will get the valuemof the IP and get Peregrine on the right financial track.
Out with the Leaches!
It's time for change!
IMO
CP, I have much respect for you and enjoy reading your posts, but on the issue of how to vote FOR THE upcoming board, I'm disappointed.
In my opinion they all should All "get ghost", including SK, as they are all responsible for the financial mess the company is in. I would be willing to retain SK as an employee, mostly because he does have certain expertise and knowledge of the APP that could prove beneficial. But after seeing the history and facts of how facts of how the board ran the company, I say good riddance... and SK let this happen!
IMO
Just tired of the same old sh-- with the Peregrine board. They've been draining this company for years with nothing but dilution to show for it. Plus, that SEC document filed by Ronin in my opinion contained facts that would be difficult to defend. I'm surprised at many here who still want to defend the board and attack Ronin.
I would feel much more confident in making a return on my investment with a Ronin nominated board than with the current scum.
It's time for a change!
IMO
I don't believe an employee should be on the board, other than the CEO. Having Lias on the board presents a conflict of interest, and I will vote to withhold Lias along with the other three sleaze bags.
IMO
Hey Wookie, yes, these are the same layoffs previously announced by Peregrine. I just thought it would be a good read coming from a news source.
What are your thoughts on the upcoming annual shareholders meeting and possible vote to add additional board members? I think it's about time to shake up the board and inject some diverse thoughts and experience.
Many thanks!

Worker adjustment notifications filed with the state in late August showed hundreds of layoffs are looming in Orange County, including cuts at Allergan, Peregrine Pharmaceuticals and Universal Alloy.
Allergan is laying off 109 employees in Irvine, effective Oct. 23, according to the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification, or WARN.
The company, which is based in Dublin, Ireland, also has offices in New Jersey.
Allergan did not immediately return requests for comment.

The biotech firm was based in Irvine until it was acquired for roughly $70 billion by Actavis in 2015. The company still has eyecare and aesthetics medicine operations, such as Botox, in Orange County.
In May, the company received Food and Drug Administration approval to market its TrueTear Intranasal Tear Neurostimular. The device increases tear production using electrical stimulation.
Allergan reported total net revenues during the second quarter of $4 billion, a 9 percent increase from the prior year.
The Allergan news coincided with other significant layoffs in the county.
Peregrine Pharmaceuticals in Tustin said it would lay off 60 employees, effective Oct. 9.
In a press release, the company said the number amounted to a 20 percent reduction in its workforce. The company called the move “part of its series of planned strategic actions to reduce costs and better position the company to achieve overall profitability while it pursues strategic options for its research and development (R&D) assets.”
The layoffs will result in net cost savings of $3.7 million to $4.3 million in fiscal-year 2018.
The group’s research and development team is being reduced by 50 percent to 11 employees.
“While this was a difficult decision, our board and management team believe it was a necessary step as we continue to evaluate strategic options to further strengthen our two distinct businesses and seek to maximize shareholder value,” Steven King, president, chief executive officer and director of Peregrine and president of Avid Bioservices, said in a statement. “I would like to personally express my appreciation to the affected employees for their commitment and meaningful contributions to the Peregrine and Avid businesses. We remain committed to capitalizing on long-term opportunities available to our CDMO business and pursuing the best path forward for our R&D business.”
Peregrine Pharmaceuticals focuses on “developing therapeutics to stimulate the body’s immune system to fight cancer,” according to its website.
Universal Alloy Corp. in Anaheim will let go of 149 employees, effective Oct. 1, according to documents filed with the state.
The company did not immediately return requests for comment.
Universal Alloy has more than 1,200 employees in Anaheim, Canton, Ga., and Romania.
The aircraft metals manufacturer in 2014 agreed to pay up to $4.75 million in a class-action lawsuit brought in a California federal court by workers who said the company deprived them of overtime and minimum wage payments, according to Law 360. The manufacturer agreed to resolve the claims at its California, Georgia and Kansas manufacturing facilities in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
The company was acquired by Montana Tech Components in 2006.
The good Dr. Thorpe was there in 2005, along with Molina Soares.
Thanks for the reply sunstar. I agree with much of what you said in regards to the IP, and I've always respected your thoughts and input for many years here. I also don't want to see Ronin discard the IP. But what do we do about our current board?
We've seen them in action since '98 and in my opinion they have contributed nothing and the share price is where it is. I'm leaning towards "change", but I'm open to listen to any arguments from the board. I will acknowledge that SK has been instrumental in getting Avid to where it is today, and I don't include him as part of the rest of the "lame duck" board members.
My hope is that Ronin's participation will help increase constructive dialog and that will help the shareholders arrive at an informed decision that we will be happy with, along with a sustained rise in the share price. I'm optimistic and anxious to see what the outcome will be.
Thanks again sunstar for all the input you've provided all these years.
Thanks for your reply. Much appreciated.
"I think it's too easy for an investment group to just write a letter saying that the platform is not worth further investment. "
With all due respect sunstar, I don't think Ronin just threw the letter together, it's apparent that much thought and research was performed, and what in that letter was wrong?
I'm not advocating for Ronin, but I do believe us shareholders really need to listen to what they have to say. Let's hear them out, and also listen to PPHM board and then decide.
If PPHM board had our best interest, I don't think they would be paying themselves exorbitant salaries, allowing the crazy % of dilution to occur, and being more transparent with the shareholders. Do you really think they care about us after all of these years (18 yrs for me). I welcome Ronin to the party and hope that they help to bring about construction dialouge and a path that will bring our share price reflective of the value of our IP and MAB facilities.
I would appreciate any thoughts you and anyone else may have on my comments.
Many thanks!
Biopharm,
Can you please elaborate on your question as to "who is sponsoring Ronin?". It seems to me that they have the financial resources and experience in MAB manufacturing to support themselves.
Please let us know what we are missing,
Many thanks!

Sorry goodPlenty. I think BDU's rant was directed at me. My apologies that you inadvertently got sucked into the pit.
Yes, I attended an SHM back in 2005. I've been invested since 1999 and I'm still here, much like many others. I believe that one day soon my small investment in this company will pay off, all of us shareholders will be happy, and some relieved. Again, I'm sorry you received undeserved criticism.
Best regards.
Hi EB,
Yes, Dr. Thorpe gave a presentation on Bavi (formerly Tarvacin) at the 2005 SHM. Also, the former COB, Walt (can't remember) his last name) made a statement like "Tarvacin could be the greatest discovery in the last 20 years." I never forgot that. It's sad that Walt passed away before Bavi becomes a success.
Best regards.
Hi Tampa,
I have to tell you, I attended an ASM back in 2005, and I gained not just more knowledge but an incredible amount of insight on PPHM. I would recommend going once, it was great. Meeting with Management and Board members and discussing PPHM informally adds to the insight one gets, and allows me to make a more informed decision about investing in PPHM.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
If share price gets over $1 and stays there for 10 business days, prior to the April deadline, then there will be no reverse split!
GLTALs!!!
I thought ENTDOC is an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist? Not an Oncologist.
Thanks HL45. There is so great of a contrast of opinion regarding the Bavi platform, like "the force" versus the "dark empire"....
Many thanks!
Very true Gwen, but do you or anyone here know if he is really a brother to "realist"????
