I didn’t have any trouble.....
Prediction #5
The U.S. Military Will Develop Futuristic, Special Ops "Body Suits" Using One of the Strangest Materials You've Ever Heard Of…
moth
It might look like a creature out of Star Wars, but this “super silk moth” could hold the key – and the magical DNA – to capturing a $140 billion market.
You’re looking at what we believe could be the next big biotech breakthrough.
Yes, it looks like an average silk moth.
It hatched out of a cocoon like any other silk moth… but it’s special in one critical way: This little guy created his cocoon with an incredible new kind of silk made from spider DNA.
Scientists are riveted by this new material because of its extraordinary properties…
it’s four times tougher than Kevlar…
74% stronger than steel…
absolutely bullet-proof…
and it has the elasticity and lightness of nylon.
The virtues of spider silk have been known for centuries. But until now, no one has been able to produce enough of it for industrial use.
The one time it was seriously tried, it took more than a million spiders and 70 people working for four years to make a single piece of fabric measuring 11 by 4 feet.
Not exactly cost-effective.
But now a lab in Michigan has found a way to produce spider silk another way… by inserting specific gene sequences from the golden orb-weaving spider into silkworms.
The silkworm then spins a recombinant fiber incorporating spider silk proteins.
Textiles woven from this new silk are lighter than Kevlar and not nearly as stiff as synthetic materials like high molecular weight polymers.
And unlike nylon they don't melt, making them perfect for body armor.
Imagine… all but bullet-proof special ops that can be dropped into Tehran… Damascus… even Pyongyang with the ability to move as they please for reconnaissance or retrieval…
special forces
Body armor equipped with this company’s “ballistic shootpack panels” bring our special ops closer to “Spider-Man Suits”… and they’re bringing this lab closer to exclusive defense partnerships.
These “miracle fibers” could also be extremely useful in medicine.
The human body doesn't reject this fiber like it does other materials. So the silk could be used as hair-thin sutures for nerve surgery and skin grafts.
The money has already started flowing…
This firm has landed a $1 million contract with the Army to produce a genetically modified “spider silk” for protective armor for soldiers.
Granted, it's a modest sum, but things at Kraig Biocraft Laboratories (OTCMKTS: KBLB) are progressing quickly…
The company recently announced its strongest silk to date… it’s had a breakthrough in its development cycle—creating in minutes the same amount of silk that used to take a full day to produce… it just delivered a prototype bundle of “ballistic shootpack panels” to Fort Riley for evaluation… and it’s ramped up production at its subsidiaries in Vietnam.
Investors have taken notice of these milestones… the stock better than doubled in the 6 months leading up to last fall, turning each $10,000 stake into $22,300.
How much upside do we project for a stock like this? We’re not putting a limit on it.
After all, we’re talking about a tiny company with just five employees that has the patent on a process that could make Kevlar obsolete… and disrupt the $140 billion technical fiber market.
It's a speculative play, for sure. And there are no guarantees.
But the stock is currently so cheap that you can pick up 5,000 shares for the cost of a nice dinner.
It’s the classic “asymmetric trade”—where the potential payoff so far outweighs the risk that it can make overnight millionaires.
TICKER: KBLB
I don’t ever remember Kim putting out a pr during a shortened trading week. Hopefully he’ll break that habit this week.
“... the real fact's the Transgenic Silkworms are in Viet Nam performing exactly as they were designed to do.”
I must have missed something about the performance of our worms, because last time we tried a pilot program it flopped. Was something said about the performance this time around already?
Guess that’s how google translates prodigy
Miracle Textile Company Ltd
“ I just want KBLB to reach .10.”
Just like Mojo! I often wondered if you two are the same person.
"Hanoi flooded in the last half of july."
Thats a nice thought, but Hanoi also flooded 3 years ago and just a few days ago.
Yes, ridiculously funny. Shhhh
“The next KBLB news will be outstanding, imho.”
Weeeeeeeeeeeee
“Quote:
Yes, we’re getting something together now to put out regarding this trip. We’ve held off on putting out anything as of yet so we could square away a couple of action items before going to press. I hope to have a press release out shortly.
Cheers,
Jon Rice”
One can only surmise that, as usual, it is taking longer than expected to “square away a couple of action items”.
Thanks Col, but I think M4N posted that, or something very similar, a few days ago.
" I wish I could tell you."
Thank you! Best of luck to you as well!
I am a little surprised about a few of the posters on here believing the inside information whispers that they hear. Especially after all previous inside info whispers have always turned out to be false.
I’ll believe what I hear when it comes from the company.
Looks like I might get more opportunities to back the pinto station wagon up for more cheap shares.
"b) COMMERCIALPRODUCTION
As there are no regulations in place to govern animal biotechnology, there is no commercial production in Vietnam.
c) EXPORT None.
d) IMPORT
None. "
Looks like if they ever do/did allow us to ship eggs in, nothing other than research will be allowed at this time.
I’d like to hear a clear explanation/translation from someone on the matter that actually knows.
Lol. Some day, I hope.
Visions of sugarplums are dancing in my head.
"With so many firsts and so many advancements from the fundamentals all the way through to a million dollar contract with the US Army, one cannot help but wonder why our market valuation has lagged."
From the holiday letter to shareholders. This will be one year ago tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow we will get another?
" I hope to have a press release out shortly."
At least it didnt say "soon".
Thanks for posting.
No way, you can tell by the large sum of money traded so far today. Confidence is at an all time high.
"Is everyone sleeping in today?"
Is that directed at the Kraig Labs staff?
They may have had their Christmas party last night. They all got drunk after they opened up their year end bonus envelopes.
The company has only tried to produce outside the lab one other time, that we know of, it was unsuccessful. Kim THINKS that Vietnam can change that, he doesn’t KNOW. We all HOPE that Kim is correct, we don’t know and won’t know until after the fact.
“Why on earth would they have handed in the necessary paperwork to Vietnam so that our eggs could be shipped there?”
So that we can TRY and mass produce on a larger, real world scale. If the pilot run is successful, then they will let us expand to a large scale.
“That is of course assuming KBLBs silks can be mass produced in commercial quantities consistently.”
The multibillion dollar question. Not just can it, can Kim do it.
“... this all could still be a complete failure.
FACT”
This is true, we could all lose every penny. Right now I’m giving it a 60% chance at success. Been higher, been lower. If successful, it will go a hell of a lot higher than a dime. That is the “dream” most sh have. I like the chances of making a killing here. But hey, I love to gamble, and in my eyes, those are great odds.
“The last anyone heard was Kim was contemplating an offer and would make a decision at a later date.”
I forgot all about that! Add that to the list of things we never heard about again.
I sure hope that Kim has been actively pursuing foreign production Plan B!
I was going to add ‘blah blah blah’ to the bottom
“Hi XXXX,
The Company must work with Vietnam's bureaucracy, which means that the announced timelines are based on communications received from their bureaucrats, but, as you point out, this hasn't been overly accurate.
Best regards,

Hello Ben,

This was 4 weeks ago today. Apparently missed the 2-3 week forecast. More than likely will miss the fourth quarter forecast?
The company sets timelines, doesn’t reach them, and never speaks of them again. It’s quite frustrating. Any info would help.
Thanks,
XXXXX”

After all these years, what has kept Kim from saying ef you to Vietnam and going someplace else? Do they keep saying “soon” to Kim, like he does to shareholders?
Here we are with yet another buying opportunity! Buying opportunity number 3,650...... and counting.
“Just for the record, I did not mentioned Ben, but I do know that the information I provided was accurate.”
Your claim made me go back through your posts, which is agony, but made me discover that your original post was deleted that claimed Ben told you that. I have no doubt that you claimed that. Sorry ‘Bob’
“ BTW...care to share how you knew the shoot packs weren’t getting tested yet?”
I don’t know if the post has been deleted, and I don’t care to search, but banana claimed that Ben told him that info.
You would think that after several years of extremely poor timeline estimates by Kim, that all of his estimates now would be extremely conservative. When he said 2-3 weeks, I guessed that he thought it would happen in 1-2 weeks.
Since it’s been past 2 weeks, Kim hasn’t learned and neither have I.
Great example, what was the response?
I agree. Good post Bob.
".... in 3rd quarter.."
Only 5 weeks left in 3rd quarter.....I'd be pleasantly surprised, but i will predict 4th quarter at best.
I'm happy they got finished and we saw pics, but how can you say "just like Kim said they would!"? I'm going off memory, but didnt Kim say they would be done by end of March?
