That's amazing, congrats on the profits. I don't think i can beat that, thats really impressive. I'm not trying to brag, just stating facts and that I am on the VRNG team. i hope you all win, i really do. I'm just putting my winnings to use elsewhere thats all, but will cheer from the sidelines. Go VRNG
Ask me if I care
I had my fill of VRNG. Only one of my trades was a loser and the loss was only $500. Been trading this since $1.60 and am up a little over 20k; thanks VRNG. My last trade was from $2.80-$2.99 today for a last $1500; I'm no pig, I'm a bear with a bulls head. Keeping it real, there is more money to be made in AAPL weekly options.
I feel bad for my buddy who is down 30k overall with VRNG stock and call options. He has the money to lose, so I don't feel so bad but VRNG is starting to become a crack addiction from my poor Italian friend. Don't get me wrong, I think VRNG is going to win the jury decision but I'm at the point where i feel like i am in AC at the roulette table and betting on black because red came out the last 5 times. 20k is good for me; thanks VRNG :)
Wish you all the best of luck and will be watching on the sidelines and will be doing the happy dance for you all with a big VRNG win.
The price isn't 3.48 or 3.44. its 2.56. I don't understand why people trade without learning how to read L2
i got the same thing
sold at profit
We got AH action
Sold at 3.30; back in ay 2.80 as I was thinking it was support. Whatever, I really don't care at this point. I'm hoping for some good news. I mean really, how does a judge wait till the last minute to do something like this???? I still think they are discussing a buyout for 300mm or so and that should drive the price back up to normal levels.
T1 code means that the company requested the halt. So i think that we see a buyout here IMO.
I disagree
How true is this? If so, then things are not looking good as damages will come down significantly.....
I do think $7-8 is in the cards with a win. I don't think it's in the cards if VRNG gets something under 500mm in total damages including royalties. We are all people and we all drive the stock up or down. That being said, the 52/wk high is $5.73 and you can bank we are touching that right away just from buyers. Then add the 25% or so short interest covering and you have about a $7.16 pps. Now add CNBC coverage and shorts turning into longs. Well, you guys get the idea. I don't think I need to spell things out.
He's on our team now; let's welcome him and forget the past.
Agree 100%
No problem bro. This won't shoot straight up to over $10 without some serious selling pressure. That's not to say that it's won't see double digits. I just see some profit taking before that. The only exception would be a buyout.
Wow, he sees the light!!!!
I call bs on this one. So your telling me that MM's have access to the market an hour before anyone else in the world. Sorry to say trading happens between 8am-8pm; MM's don't get an exception.
I see a double $8 in the short term.
I'm an AAPL bull, but you have to admit that the weekly puts have been paying nicely. Lost about 24k on AAPL Nov $725 calls and I'm almost even now day trading the weekly puts. At this point I really don't care where this thing goes, just as long as my brokerage acct gets bigger. Green apples or red apples whatever the day brings.
I think he said somthing about it being one of the best or smartest posts he has heard in a long time. I went to YMB and saw nothing of real substance. I'm still wondering what post he is talking about. I'm also still waiting for Basketball to make me a sandwich. He's slow at everything isn't he?
Can you post the link from the YMB. Thanks
Oh ok. You just sounded a little desperate for this win. I'm long 25,000 shares @ 3.85 and have 50 Nov $4 calls @ .95. If Vringo wins then I'm looking good, but if they lose then I just make less money this year.
Is that your whole portfolio. Are you betting everything you have in your brokerage acct on this?
I'm not saying that he isn't in the race. All I'm saying is that it's easy to figure out by asking which broker he is using to short. There is only 2 brokers with shares right now and I'm not saying which ones they are.
Sold 1/2 my shares at 3.86. This is looking like a Tues repeat. Looking to buy back at 3.45-3.55. Current Holding 2500 @ 3.74 and dollar cost averaging this beast till she gets going again.
Curious why?
Since this is such a great risk reward play, why not go long the stock and buy a few put options as a hedge? Just an idea
I've seen basketball in a number of boards and all he does is bash stocks; just ignore him.
That really didn't answer my question. I'm wondering where the post 4pm 10/25 verdict information came from?
Technical analysis on steroids
Where does is say a jury decision will be after 4pm tomorrow?
Please refer back to my post a few days ago; I think I was pretty spot on.

Small pullback here. My guess is we close at 647.12; I'm calling it now!
Thanks for helping me clarify
Maybe I used the wrong choice of words when saying "scaling the percentages down". All I was trying to say was that a 40-50 pt swing a year ago does not have the same equivalent today in terms of percentage. All I asked was to look at AAPL 1 year ago and find similarities, that's all.
Just an FYI here: Tech sector in general had been lagging of late. That being said, it has a little catching up to do with the rest of the market, including AAPL. These secular movements go in waves and I think we just saw the beginning of a new tech run into the holidays. On a different note, just the announcement of an iPad mini will drive APPL pps up another 5%; couple that with good earnings we should see another 10% or 65 pts bringing the pps to 715 before months end. I know these are "what if's", but I feel that the probability of that not happening is far less that it actually becoming reality.
From a technical standpoint, I think that we top out after a good earnings report around 700-715 and we see another sell off back to 630 before this thing runs to 950-1000 by the springtime-early summer. Take a look at the 1yr chart and tell me if you all see some seasonal similarities from a year back; just remember to scale the percentages down because AAPL pps was about 360 a year ago.
I got your PM; it's all good. Much respect.
lol
I post more relevant content than 90% of the posts in this forum. I'm sorry I offended you by talking about my car that AAPL stock paid for. Anyway, here is a recent post that proves I'm not some mindless moron cheer leading Apple to go up or down.
