I've been burned many times in the past by all the "to da moon!!!" posts and the frame of mind that "this penny stock is different". Latley I've been setting a goal of about 30-50% gains and then selling, and trying to stick to that, and it has been working pretty well. I'm sure I could have milked some stocks for more but I would have had trouble sleeping at night hahaha. With this one I will probably make an entry tomorrow and then sell on friday, I don't have the stones to hold any penny stock over the weekend anymore, plus I've learned that very hard lesson in the past. Although from what I've heard APS seems to be a different kind of P&D company than others I have followed. But im going to stick to my 30-50% and sell, then look for a good re entry point in the following day or two, and if one doesn't present itself, I move on.
Thanks for the info, really appreciate it. Sucks that i work M-F all day during the market, makes doing these kinds of plays much much harder. I only get to watch about the first 15 minutes of the market and then have to head off to work, so I can't sit around and wait for a dip. Sometime I wonder if I should even be doing these plays since I can't really watch the market, we will see how this one works out for me and then I guess I will go from there.
Hey Ken, quick question. Would you think a second day entry into this stock to be safe? Looking at APS' track record their pumps are usually profitable for weeks, but this pick is unlike any of their other picks. Its at a much higher PPS than usual. I was at work all day today and couldn't make an entry unfortunately.
It makes me sick to my stomach to see my investment dwindle like this. Im not a huge shareholder, about 500k at an average of .01 but its not worth it for me to sell at this point, If I do what would i get a measly $600? might as well just let it ride and learn from this experience. Luckily I am still young and I only invested $5k into this. This might be one of the last times I ever touch the pink sheets, who knows. I really hope no one lost their retirement money or anything major like that to this mismanaged and poorly run company. I still believe in the product and the cause but I just do not know if it can be pulled off now. I, like a lot of people, fell for the trickery of management. But like everything in life, it is all a learning experience, and you have to keep your head up and not get discouraged and scared away from investing all together. I sure hope the company turns around and pulls something out of their ass, but for now, im just letting it ride. I've averaged down too many times just to have it go even lower than anyone ever thought it would go. Good Luck to everyone here and I really hope things turn around but i think it is time to move on here and learn from this.
The time of ultimate Pessimism is the best time to buy
That makes sense. Do they say things like that in the 10k just to cover their asses? just in case things don't work out they can say "hey we said in the 10k this company might not make it". Im still young and somewhat new to Investing (only my second year) so sorry if its a stupid question.
If all Phoneguard is getting out of the concert is exposure, then it will close its doors on May 1st. They only have enough cash on hand to keep the business going until the end of this month as stated in the 10k they released a couple days ago. So the free subscriptions that everyone is getting that will give us revenue a year from now when everyone has to renew their memberhsip will not help us at all. OPMG has to make A TON of cash by the end of the month, or it's game over.
Now I refuse to believe that OPMG would put so much time and effort into this concert if they knew they weren't making any money off it and just had to close up shop 2 days later, they are smarter than that, one would think. They HAVE to be getting a portion of something, or it would all be for nothing.
I really really hope this all works out because I have a decent sized amount of shares and if it pays off it will be huge, but on the otehr end of the spectrum all our shares could be worthless in a couple weeks.
Remember though, OPMG only has enough cash on hand to keep their doors open until April 30th. If they don't make enough Revenue off the concert starting immediately, they are closing up shop on may 1st.
Things seem to be all coming together. Makes me all gitty just thinking about how big this concert is going to be and how much exposure Phonegaurd is going to get. Definitely exciting times ahead, continue to load up before it's too late. Im buying all I can afford while it is still under .005
Berdboy, I always enjoy your posts and I agree with you on almost everything about OPMG, but what you have to understand is that, First, we live in a society where people expect instant gratitifaction for their actions. There are very few people who have the ability to be patient anymore, and honestly that is going to ultimately be their loss in the long-term. And Second, Most people who critisize what management is doing and bash them, have no idea how to, or what it take to, run a business. Especially a start-up business producing a product that has not ever been produced in the past. Starting a business, in general, is VERY VERY DIFFICULT, and then add on the fact that you are trying to sell a product that has never existed before and you have to try and convince people they need it, is a very daunting task.
Wow, I really did not see this news coming. I guess it can still be a good thing depending on the terms of the agreement. If the agreement was that we get a percentage of the proceeds everytime illume sells their Izup software, and we don't have to hand over 40% of the company, sounds like a WIN WIN. But again this is all just speculation until they formally disclose the contents of the agreement.
But I would find it very hard to believe that phoneguard would not get some sort of compensation for having Izup on their website and offering it to their clients. I highly doubt we would promote a competitors app for free.
licensing agreement
Definition
Written contract under which the owner of a copyright, know how, patent, servicemark, trademark, or other intellectual property, allows a licensee to use, make, or sell copies of the original. Such agreements usually limit the scope or field of the licensee, and specify whether the license is exclusive or non-exclusive, and whether the licensee will pay royalties or some other consideration in exchange. While licensing agreements are mainly used in commercialization of a technology, they are also used by franchisers to promote sales of goods and services.
well I sure as heck hope they have the app 100% ready AT LEAST by the concert since they are going to be encouraging everyone at the event as well as watching on PPV to download it.
well they just fixed the bugs and battery drain issues a couple weeks ago. Before that it was just in it's "testing" stage, that's why JB hasn't promoted it in the mainstream media yet, The company does not want him to promote a product that isn't 100% ready to go IMO. I think we should start seeing him promote it and the company give us some details in the following weeks leading up to the concert at the end of April.
Nice find. Even little kids who can't drive yet are promoting anti-texting while driving, awesome.
"what is 17 times 3?"
"ummmm 42"
lol
CHECK THIS OUT
Don't know if anyone has seen this before but I thought it was a pretty good indicator of how important JB is to success of phoneguard.

then click on the question "what is your favorite phoneguard feature?"
notice that 152 people voted their favorite feature was "that it disables texting while driving", and nearly 530 people said their favorite feature was that "Justin Bieber endorses it"
kinda puts things in perspective. Don't know if this has been posted before, sorry if it has, I just came across it and thought it was interesting.
I agree with you. But it is hard for a company to send out a PR when they don't have much to report on. The PR's that everyone is waiting for is news about the merger/aquisition (and mergers/aquisitions can take many months to complete)and a PR on the concert in April. I remember a post from someone here who said they talked to and IR consultant for OPMG and they stated that the company was only going to send out PR's on actual events or things that have been completed. So the company is not going to send out a PR letting the shareholders know how the aquisition is coming along, they will send out a PR when it is actually done and finished. I do agree with you that the company has some responsibility to it's shareholders as far as keeping them updated, but that road is also a two way street, we as shareholders need to let the company do what it has to do without constantly calling and yelling at them about not putting out PR's on a weekly basis and how us shareholders are getting impatient. Let the company do what it has to do and they will update us with actual hard facts about the upcoming events when they actually have something to report on. It does cost the company money to put out PR's, and I would much rather them use that money to further advance the product or marketing of the product instead of putting out useless PR after useless PR.
I never understood why people feel that company silence is such a terrible thing. IMO it's actually good in certain ways. For one thing it tells me the management isn't trying to pump the PPS up with 2 or 3 PR's a week so they can sell their shares at higher prices, and second it tells me they are busy working on things behind the scenes. So IMO company silence can be a positive, now if there is company silence for 6 months something might be up, but our last PR was 2 weeks ago. Getting a start-up business up and running takes time and patience, so everyone just needs to chill and be patient.

well, How many views does the PSA have? a couple hundred thousand and it has been out a couple weeks, his tweets and FB messages would get that many views in less than a day. I don't know if phoneguard wants that much exposure just yet until the product is perfect. But then again you do have a point, if it's not ready why promote at all? Honestly, who really knows what the company is thinking, I sure don't. Im just going to have to trust that the management knows what it is doing and will launch the product and let Bieber loose when the time is right.
Justin Bieber is not going to tweet or Facebook about phoneguard until he is INSTRUCTED by the company to do so. As a spokesperson for phoneguard it's almost as though he works for them. He can not just go around sending tweets and FB updates about phoneguard all willy nilly and whenever he wants. What would happen if phoneguard is still working out a few bugs and tweaking the product, and then JB sent out a bunch of tweets about the product, and a bunch of people download it because of his tweets and they download a flawed product that is not finished yet. How would that look for phoneguard? how would that make JB look? it would make both look pretty bad.
Granted, you can download phonegaurd right now off the website and you will get the unfinished product, but IMO, when people see JB tweeting about a product, they expect it to be a 100% finished perfect product, JB is not going to be seen tweeting about a product that is not finished. That would absolutely stupid of him and stupid for phoneguard to make him tweet about an unfinished product.
Cool, good find. Phoneguard seems to be making it's way all across the web slowly but surely.
And so it begins....

Maybe they want him to not promote until the merger is officially completed. Maybe so he can also mention Izup along with phoneguard? just a thought.
He does like to surprise people, so I guess that's a good possibility.
I find it very hard to believe that Justin would not at least make some sort of appearance. If not in person he should at least do an appearance on the big screen from where ever he is at the time. I highly doubt he would just blow off an event that phoneguard is sponsoring. At least I hope he wouldn't, seem's like too nice of a kid to do that haha.
Ya, Ive been in this stock since mid last year, and I've got my average down to .01, so I'm almost in the money. But i have no doubt OPMG will give me a big payout, just have to be patient and not get over excited
It's nice to see a nice big gain today, but Honestly, Days like today (and the past 4 in a row) make me slightly nervous. I personally would rather see a much slower gain of about 8-10% on green days, since it usually prevents a crash due to dumping. But thats just me.
GO OPMG

Definitely exciting times here folks, but don't get blinded by all the green, OPMG WILL have pullbacks along the way. Tons of Patience will still be required here IMO
In your opinion, do you think OPMG is due for a day with a healthy small pullback?
A nice juicy PR from the company about the merger and this will fly fly fly!!!
GO OPMG
life changer
No not yet, just seems the company has stopped diluting and so now it's running back up to where it should be.
WOW, just got home from work to some nice GREEN!! sweet. This is what alot of us have been waiting a long time for. I do wish this run up would have waited a couple of days before starting though, LOL, since I didn't get to load up as much as I wanted at the high .003's, Oh well. OPMG just getting started here, 5 green days in a row, all on low volume and no news. JUST WAIT til a nice fat PR is released and we get a day with 20mil volume. Hope you are all buckled in for the ride of your life!
OPMG
life changer
Wish I could have loaded up more at .004 range than I did, but money wasn't settled in my account. Oh well, It's really nice to see all these green days, and shows you what OPMG is capable, now if we had HUGE volume then these green days would be much larger in percentage. But I personally prefer a slow walk up, 8-9% on green days and maybe a healthy pull back of 5-6% once a week. Now all we need it news!
Patience is key.
I've been acting like an old out of date computer the last few months, just loading and loading and loading
so everyone at the event will have the chance to get the app for free, and then if they like it, after a month, they will have the option to purchase it if they want to keep using it correct?
Wow, nice find, the more i read about this event, the more I realize how big this event is going to be, should be awesome.
good job on the I-BOX and the stickies
you are absolutely right, I don't know if people on here realize how much paperwork and time it takes for one company to aquire another company. I've seen mergers take several months, yet on here people expected it to be done by Feb. 12, a week and half after it's announcement, which is not at all realistic, and most of all, thats what people thought the PR said, but that is most definitely not what the PR said.
These things take time, and most people are after instant gratification and are to antsy and impatient to let the company do what it has to do. Which is a bummer for them because they will miss out on the capital gains.
