Florida loves Baristas!
I've sent over a dozen people to the Tampa stand and all but one has said they prefer Baristas to Starbucks next door
Straight from the Tampa Manager's mouth - "I talk to other managers all over the country and we are all doing very, very well....nobody's leaving with all the money and opportunity here"
News from Tampa: Hey all, haven't been around in a while but the volume yesterday brought me in to see what's going on - thanks!
Word from stand in Tampa is manager says they have had record sales the past month and she is looking at a handful of new locations -
Florida girls are holding their own....running strong and funny as heck - they should be on TV
Very good news..... Now let's see who picks it up!
six cars in line at tampa today!
Baristas in Tampa was busier than ever today - literally six cars in line at one time today!
he also said it wasn't cheap....who paid for this production?
I sent to a friend who works for one of the FL TV stations and he said this was top quality filming....much better than anything they do locally and obviously by some of the best.
Ok....here's the verdict: I watched the video on Heather and I got a little teary eyed....to me that means good TV
So then it is AGREED by all, that if this horrible AZ location, where many others have failed miserably, becomes profitable, then it would reason that the Baristas buiness model will therefore succeed anywhere and everywhere...AGREED?
End of conversation.
Let's see what happens - My money's on the cute girls with the good coffee
Heads up all - this is about the same time last year BCCI went to .84
shorters beware
Besides, has Baristas had a loser yet?....I don't think so....all the other locations are still operating as far as I know.
I did a little homework this am and found listings for other properties on Shea - It noted that the traffic count is 26,200 cars per day - not sure what their criteria is, but even 1% of that traffic could likely support the business....yes?
This was also on that site, for those interested in both sides...
"Was lead to this site through a blog and just wanted to provide an honest review that Barry and I have done a handful of deals over the past 8 years, some winners, some losers, but regardless of the deal he has been honest, has communicated well, and has stood by his word - in business, that's about all I can ask for - I'm a big boy and I make my own investment decisions."
Has anyone ever read the hundreds negative comments on Bill Gates, Howard Schultz, Donald Trump, Jeff Bezos, etc, etc, etc.....I guess this is all part of the public trading game.
Anyone have anything on upcoming news that may be released?
Stock is ready to go and I want to be ready, but it's tough for me to watch it all day at my job
Any help is appreciated
When this goes, it's going to go so fast, only those ready to pull the trigger will have a chance to get in - who remembers last July?
Even you "shorters" out there have to acknowledge these guys have a great brand that could very quickly become a sexy icon with the right media and sell millions of booty shorts, tops and sweat pants to young girls - a very desirable retail demographic
So what is a national reality series really worth?....
tens of millions of dollars in branding/merchandising - look at what happened with TAPOUT, and West Coast Choppers
The fact I can report is that the Tampa store has constant traffic with 2-3 cars in cue for hours at a time.....all indicators show that Tampa is doing very well.
not to mention the branding of hats, t-shirts, sweats pants, and booty shorts...
TAPOUT has earned hundreds of millions in brand revenue, also West Coast Choppers....you think those guys made their money building bikes?
Is there ANYONE here (even you shorters) who thinks baristas has a unappealing brand/logo?
the thing I think most are missing is the power of branding in this market....being an East Coaster, I can tell you that when things go here, they go big
volume is great today....we close up and we're looking at a high for the quarter this week
Don't know who it was that thought the baristas in the pics were skanks, but I'd love to hang with him for the night and see girls in his world....because in my world, those girls are smokin'
financials are due out soon maybe?...
something's telling me we've got some big news heading our way...
Just got photos in from son's friend of friend in Missoula....Location is confirmed open with Baristas Banners and operational
email me at 110condos@gmail.com and I will forward pic
Still new to this penny stuff, but seems apparent that "shorters" will say/do anything to create a panic sell...
He is waiting for a picture as proof
CONFIRMED by my son's friend of friend who goes to whatever school is in Missoula, MT - Baristas is open for business on Harrier st in the Harley Davidson parking lot
My son also has some friends of friends that go to college in Missoula....he has reached out to them on FB to verify - I'll let everyone know the verdict
Baristas is apparently opening in the Harley Davidson parking lot in Missoula Montana
For the Record - I had my son ask his girlfriend to call on the Montana CL ad....seems it is legitimate.
And the coffee really was spectacular...much better than Starbucks (btw, within a stone's throw from the stand, literally)
There were as many as four cars in line at once and not more than 5 mins without a customer in the nearly 90 minutes I watched it operate.
Very easy for me to see how this business is quickly profitable - and yes, I am an investor
I am a family man, I drink 2-3 cups of coffee a day, and my experience was very pleasant....the girls weren't supermodels, but they were professional, polite and very enjoyable....(not sure what kind of person judges people with tatoos these days, but to each his owrn)
I may be the only one posting that has acutally been there...(yes, I took a nearly two hour ride to check it out)
I have a very attractive business model and it took me eight months to get revenues to a point where I wasn't losing money....there must be a ton of money in coffee
Profitable on its second day in Tampa?!!!
How is this possible?
and the coffee truly was amazing...a whole different level above Starbucks
Those Seattle people really know their coffee.
