Do some reading and put your eyes on the history of the CEO and see what you come up with. It might help explain why there aren't alot of eyes here. Yeah you might be able to play some trades out of this but be careful and have an exit plan. GL
Irvine, I cannot reply privatly because I do not pay for IHUB..
I have no real opinion on Sykes and crew...I find that whole discussion a red herring. The next topic will be evil naked shorts and then you know where the game ends after that.
Just a hint of sarcasm Ebo
Of course this is not a good buy...it might be worth buying at .01 if you want to play the next promo round...but even then, it's a quick in and out.
I don't know if WLOC will ever actually drill the property or not. Drilling is expensive, costing as much as 2 million a year for 1 drill. I have no idea where the funds will come from or if they are willing to do a PP. How far will they carry this gig? I wouldn't be surprised to see a drill contract done and the whole 9 yards only to later have a disagreement that delays or breaks that contract. These gigs are almost more about survival and milking the situation for as long as you can until it's over. That becomes a game in and of itself...
Expect a ton of hollow PR's about geologist visiting properties etc...there will be a new round of suckers
I guess it really depends on the process involved...I just assumed they can seperate out the manganese from the silver/zinc because they include the manganese in the drill coring. If you can't seperate out the manganese from the silver/zinc cons then you have no business providing figures for a mineral that you cannot mine.
But I am not real familiar with Manganese mining that also involves silver and zinc. It seems an odd mix of metals to me and it might prove that wildcat will have some problems if their cons have to much arsenic involved. I have seen some companies sell their cons for less then 10% discount if they do not much arsenic properties. If you do have high arsenic values then the discount can be rather severe, sometimes up to 40% off the current market price.
Something very strange about WSER
Their needs to be an investigation into these guys. One board member claimed that their are 2 seperate WSER research companies...how can that be? And now nobody gets new updates or recieves new info from the WLOC WSER company. Has anybody had any success in contacting this group???
DOC seemed to have constant contact with WSER. DOC have you tried to check in on them or contact them?
Are you still buying more WLOC.ob doc? At .10 cents you were, I would think this is a steal at .05?
Is it ever possible for Wildcat Silver and AMY to work together in some form or fashion?
It would make sense to me if Wildcat ends up proving up a signficant Maganese deposit. AMY's mill will be specific for Maganese while Wildcat will be a primary silver producer. I am not familiar with the difficulties in seperating out Maganese from other deposit minerals so I don't know if it's possible or economical or not.
You remember them but are they accurate?
You held ALL your shares as your own comments indicate, up until at least jan 27th...this is correct?
What exactly are they going to calculate a 43-101 on?
Historical data? Positive surface samples?
Good luck
Doc, remember some of these comments:
"Funny as it is to say, glad to hear the shorters are on the loose. All I can say is good luck to those who bit that bullet."
Care to admit you were wrong on this?
"lol.. no, not a realized gain yet, still holding all"
On Jan 27 you were still holding ALL your shares per your post. Wonder if that matches up with your tax records?
On Jan 30 you actually stated you were buying more shares:
"Doc must be buying more shares at these low prices right?"
"Correct"
Do the records match?
These are really sad stories to hear...
I have never understood how people could buy stocks such a wloc with the intention of a long term investment. It took about 2.5 minutes for me to look at this and quickly reach a negative conclusion. And what about Doc? I haven't seen much anger directed toward DOC here
GORO had an assay .50 meters of 11,359 grams silver 17 grams gold
Amazingly enough, that sample was part of 28.64 meters of 21.64 grams gold 2178 grams silver...
If that ain't a silver miner then I don't know what is! It happens often that the vein is much richer then the drill intercepts. This 28 meter recovery was a direct drilling into the face of the vein. Amazing
What is a "matter of fact" about an opinion?
I stated an opinion that over my 30 years of investing I have seen maybe 10% of companies hit projections whenever construction was involved. No hidden agenda here. You see this type of behavior on lots of boards on the net..I am not upset nor am I surprised. These will be the same folks gnashing their teeth and screaming for the removal of the CEO when targets are passed. lol Good luck
Strickly speaking stock price here...
I have learned over the years to take the projections and double them...especially in the US.
I am talking about the money being envisioned on here...the lower end of moly corp type of $$$$
I like the stock at these levels but I would caution that it's going to be a long ride from what I have gathered. It can take painful amounts of time just on permits along with the finance. I think a 5-10 year horizon is what you need to be thinking to make good money here.
Looks fairly interesting...
I usually run for the hills when I see the comparisons to the big companies and the next "goldcorp" or "molycorp" or "ISRG" or whatever...
How does the company raise 90 million bucks. That's alot of money to raise. What is the estimated dilution that will occur in raising those kinds of funds?
I like the CEO, seems a straight shooter which is rare in junior world.
If you are that impressed with WLOC's leased land then contact miniquest, MQ has about 28 other leases that they would love to have work done on. It's as easy as that.
http://www.minquestinc.com/Properties.aspx
The real question, how was a company valued at a market cap of 100s of millions of dollars without anything but 1-800 gimme a lease program?
The standard start up has to have 1 of the 3 things for finance:
1) Management with a proven record that investors will flock to put up money
2) Property with a great historical record or promise
3) Promising early drill returns
If you are going to go straight to the newsletter circuit then you better get ready for shorts and this type of pattern. WLOC should have done a PP at 2.00 instead of that ridiculous stupid 4:1 stock split. That's when it became clear to me what we had.
They even gave the silly reason that more institutional investors could by in...what a joke. That was nothing but selfish and everybody knew it. A quick check on the CEO's record would confirm that. WLOC is done unless by some miracle, Fields actually wants to prop this thing up a little longer and didn't expect the sykes crew to attack. If that's the case then I am sure another round of promo's is on the way with another inflated price.
WLOC's leases are as valuable as a used car, go check the 10Q. Watch gold rush on the discovery channell...Many people in Alaska who have 40-50 leases a piece! It's not hard to get a lease but it is hard to show an economical deposit.
Can you say potential?
Wow, this could end up being 200 dollar stock if that mineralization is shown to extend all over the place. Those kind of grades are only seen in a handful of places and most of the seniors own them
GORO: 28.6 meters of 21.64 grams gold 2178 grams silver per tonne
Yes you read that correctly...
http://news.goldseek.com/FeaturedPR/1298393429.php
It's not that easy to prove an actual P&D that people are insinuating on this board. You are ultimatly responsible for your own actions right. How much DD did you do on WLOC? Did you read any of the SEC filings? Or did you rely on some ridiculous newsletter service. It never ceases to amaze me how easily it is for people to follow blind advice from strangers.
P&D creators aren't stupid. They are going to setup their P&D in such a way that it's not easy to find. Imagine how difficult it could be to follow the money if it was setup for this very reason. The creators would use 3rd parties that they have no link with and the money could be virtually impossible to trace back. How do you distinguish the honest momo traders from the insiders? You can't most of the time.
This is not investment advice nor am I implying that WLOC is a P&D. This is a seperate discussion on certain market aspects as a whole.
yeah man, it's just amazing
How does he do it? Guy must have a lance armstrong heart valve...he should also start a sports drink company...issue a bunch of shares then....
You think you work hard? Imagine terry fields with all his gigs...shewww
You really don't know property value until a feasibility study is done with at least 24 months of drilling results to back it up. An experienced geologist can likely tell how robust a system is upon 6 months of drill results and analyzing the fault lines and trend zones....that's an experienced geologist, not a lawyer. I've no idea if WLOCD.OB property contains signficant gold values and nobody else knows either. That's why it's hard to justify a market cap above 5 million dollars at this point.
It's so rare to find an economical deposit of gold that you are literally better off playing a scratch lotto ticket. I think the best opportunities right now are going to places that are just recently being opened up to foreign investment. Places like Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Columbia are relativly virgin when it comes to modern gold exploration techniques. good luck to all
man this board is a laugh...
Too much emphasis on the shareprice...
The people that are upset are only upset because the price of the stock went down. That's means half the people here might be schilling if the company shareprice was up which also tells me no lesson is ever fully learned. I find that odd. If the stock went to .80 tommorrow, would some of you decide that this is actually a worthy company with great assets?
Anybody posting on here with capital around 250 K can create their own willow creek. Why is this so hard for some to understand? Just because you lease/own property does not mean jack squat. Yes, you can call up Mini Quest tommorrow and say you'd like to lease Property Y for a few thousand, release a PR on some historical data that may or may not be relevant and start your company. Do you think your small company should be valued at 25 milllion? Obviously not
If Wlocd.ob goes to .50-70 cents again then I will sale my business and use it to short the stock...and then there will be no bounce...I imagine wlocd.ob wants to save some face, I honestly don't think they expected to go on the short radar with that latest promo round. I think the negative attention by sykes killed wlocd. But that can't last forever and new sucker's will come along on the next promo job....but just as sykes can't last forever, neither can the promo. The real value of this company will be realized eventually once the sillyness runs it's course. I believe that real value is a market cap of around 1 million dollars...perhaps less
I have some property that may or may not contain gold on it!
I will sale it to Willow Creek tommorrow to add to the increasingly great number of claims! How much was gilmore bought for? I hope that property cost more then the others.
The stock should not be valued at anything over 1 million dollars. You show 25 million dollars of potential...that's still alot of damn money where I come from
Copper,
You seem to ignore the reason's why Sykes and company are shorting this stock. It has NOTHING to do with the speculative nature of the property or junior exploration. It HAS everything to do with this

Office is a virtual office in Las Vegas
And the way the company has been run to date, with a 4:1 forward split.
Your using quite the red herring to come in here act like the problem is nothing unusual...normal mining stuff. Nice try
Just for my notes here Doc,
Did you create this board? How long have you been the moderator?
You buying more Doc?
double down?
Not a short here...read my intro
My aunt called about this company asking advice. Thank god I got her out of it just after the split. But during the course of my DD I became interested in the outcome of this company and some of the other classic jokes. This is the only active board.
You folks that blame shorts...name one reason why this company should have ever sniffed a market cap of 170 million. You can't. WLOCD.OB purchased 3 pieces of property that the average joe could purchase and then went on a promo torch.
I would love to short this stock but it's dropped way too much way too fast for me to try now. I have no skin in the game. This will be fun to watch tho. If wlocd.ob ever touches .50 cents again then I will throw 99% of my holdings on shorting...and make a killing like sykes
Belize
I think if one wanted to start digging a little on this company I think you should start here.
Millard, why didn't you post the entire article...
If you thought that was bad...good lord, read the whole thing
Buck, the problem with your analysis...
Nobody knows anything about the value of the company. With your logic the company should have a 50-75 million dollar market cap based on zero evidence. It's the same hollow argument Doc makes to tout this thing. You guys give no reason why a stock like this should deserve such a high market cap other then to say it should.
Markets can be forward looking when you have something to base a forward projection off of. And of course there is the other problems such as 1 part time employee yada yada.
This company should be under nickle.
that's rich doc
You accusing another of being dispicable when your on the other end of the trade. If your not underwater of WLOCD then your close
Speaking of the devil...
Just got a random email on WLOCD from OTC Marketbulls
WLOCD = high grade gold mineralization.
Just last night WLCOD signed an LOI with MinQuest Inc. to lease the Gilman Gold Property with a primary focus on high grade gold mineralization. This means potential cash cash cash for WLOCD and its shareholders. Deals such as this is how small mining companies can eventually turn into mega billion dollar money making machines. WLCOD is determined to do just that and shareholders should grab on with both hands and enjoy the ride ahead!
How can they say "high grade gold" when they have zero drill results from this property. Also notice the outlandish speak..."turn into a mega billion dollar money making machine"....
I think we have two different ideas of success here...
1 idea is centered on the idea that Company A) spent used car money to purchase property...did a 4:1 split, officed in a regus office in Las Vegas, had some promotional work...finally finds gold in this miracle property and builds a mine and everything lives happily ever after.
The other idea is the same as the above but something drastically different occurs after the promotional work part...and only a few folks make money by timing it right. That's what I mean by success and that's what Sykes doesn't want to happen.
I think you guys knew that though
This is hardly your standard start up miner...
CEO is part time along with a few other operations that look verrrrry similiar to this project. Company does a 4:1 forward split to "help instituitions get involved"....Mr. Eastland. I think you know exactly why Sykes doesn't want this to succeed.
