Seems that Mr. Swiecki wants a bigger piece of the Peruvian pie. Went from VP of GSDC mining operations to chief operating officer and general manager of his own company.
He knows there is gold in them hills.
My translation is IMO.
From the Mineros Website.
The company Mineros is currently exploring in Peru. A Mineros staff is already in preliminary explorations for 90 days,
in association with a signed agreement with GoldSands Developement Company. These companies have signed an investment agreement (joint venture) that Mineros will have 85% participation in the exploration of 55 mining titles.
'According to the results, it is envisioned the exploration will continue for two more years, which would involve investments of close to US $3 million', explained Gonzalo Gomez Vargas, new business manager of Mineros.
IMO It will take 2 years to totally explore all 55 mining titles. I believe mining will start much sooner.IMO
The company already explores in Peru.
Staff of miners is already in the northwest of Peru in preliminary explorations during 90 days, in association with the signature GoldSands Development Company. These companies have signed an investment agreement joint (joint venture) for that Mineros will have 85% of participation in the exploration in 55 mining titles that has that signature.
'According to the results, it is envisaged the exploration for two more years, which would involve investments of close to US$3 million', explained Gonzalo Gómez Vargas, new business manager of miners.
Rafal Swiecki's comment shows he was not impressed with Swiss Mining. And there is no comparing Swiss Mining with Mineros experience. The more risk involved with Goldsands inexperience gives the potential for a larger gain. That is why I am here.

Alluvial gold exploration. In this case, the bulk sampling of BANKA drill located alluvial gold terrace. This is to collect the information needed for designing the efficient alluvial mining operation. This is not the best example how such sampling should be done, but it is an example of how the available equipment resources are not used... Nothing is more instructive than learning from the other peoples mistakes.
Location: Marañón River, Peru."
I feel Swiss Mining did not have the correct equipment or skills to mine large quantities of alluvial gold to make it highly profitable. You have to remember it was a test mining operation, not a dredge mining operation. I believe it would be highly profitable using dregders from an experienced company such as Mineros, They have a proven background in the field of alluvial gold mining making them the largest alluvial gold mining company in Columbia.
One comment from Rafal Swiecki during the test mining operation made me come to this conclusion.

These are the properties that were once held by First Columbia Gold Corp.(FCGD) Who owns them now? Is GSDC going to purchase these options? If they do acquire these properties, do they have the balls to mine them on their own without a JV?

They operate massive dreders.
Not exactly how I expected it to play out. But 15% is a positive move watching the project move forward from the sidelines.
Some of the different alluvial test mining techniques used at the Gold Sands site observed by Rafael Swiecki.

Goldsands now owns the Peruvian property rights that RiverRun let go. They will probably also take the property rights from First Columbia Gold Corp(FCGC), formerly Amazon Gold Sands (AZNG) that they cannot complete payment for.
This will give them 100% rights to all the properties.
This may be verified in the next GSDC PR.
As Paul Harvey would say "Now, the rest of the story"
Keep em' coming Don P.
Gene Maddaus's agenda is geared more towards a political campaign smear directed at Republican Craig Huey.
Oh and by the way Republican Craig Huey ended up beating out Democrat Janice Hahn.
Funny story.

This is why I am here.
"We plan to expand our work in these areas and are now reaching out to potential joint venture partners and dredging contractors with the goal of finding partners or additional financing to assist us in developing a comprehensive and profitable mining plan. Current Gold prices are a big driver for our project as time to production is typically faster in alluvial mining than in hard rock mining."
Why are you here? Are you mad because you bought in at $1.00 like your disgruntled friend that wrote the article?
Get over it and buy all you can at.10.
This has nothing to do with the DJIA at 10,981.58 Right?
You should know that being the DD Master that you are.
How were these companies connected DonP?
If you and I bought a house on the same street from the same realtor would we be connected? or just neighbors.
If you don't make your mortgage payment you are gone.
Looks like FCGD is going to walk away and let GSDC buy it up. Well at least GSDC will now own 100% of the properties. I would rather see a dredger running 24/7.
From the SEC Filing Dated Aug 15,2011
"We have discussed with Temasek our inability to fulfill the Option Requirements under Amendment No. 3 and our default on the $250,000 Convertible Note. For reasons which include our inability to secure sufficient financing to be able to cure our default on the $250,000 Convertible Note or complete our planned exploration program, we have not been successful in reaching an agreement with Temasek to further amend the Option Agreement in order revive the third and fourth twenty-five percent options. In July 2011, we received an offer from Temasek to enter into an agreement that provides for our return to Temasek of our fifty percent interest in the Mineral Rights acquired through our acquisition of fifty percent of the outstanding shares of Beardmore in exchange for the cancellation of the $250,000 Convertible Note, the $3,250,000 Convertible Note and our obligation under Amendment No. 3 to issue Temasek 6,000,000 shares of our common stock. We are currently evaluating this offer. In the event that we accept Temasek’s offer, we will be forced to relinquish any interest we have in the Mineral Rights and would not be entitled to recover the $250,000 previously paid to Temasek, the 5,000,000 shares of our common stock previously issued to Temasek or any mineral property exploration expenditures incurred to date."
Does this mean that First Columbia Gold is out of the picture now like River Run? I am assuming this is the mineral rights they are acquiring.
Sloop-motor 60

This is getting more weird by the day.
Seems to be a new venture?
Assembly with the communities in Yanayacu (June 26, 2011)
This day GoldSands had a meeting with the community, authorities and Apus of the following communities: Yanayacu, Jerusalen, Nuevo Progreso, Nueva Alianza, Suwantza, Chorros, Sinchiroca and Santa Rosa in Yanayacu (Loreto-Peru).
The Apus decided to make a board of directors with: president, secretary and vocal. The representative of the company requested an authorization to make works for studies. This will consist with the studies for each zone and the process with periods of time with the most favorable conditions. He tried to remember the signed act of the year 2009, an agreement when the community will send to the company the Anguilla Island.
In this meeting GoldSands clarified topics about the exploration and works of the company, health and preservation of the environment. Then they talk about: Act de chorros 2009, the territories of the communities and concessions of the company.
Then the company asks to each annex if they accept the studies and works in the Anguilla zone. The president of the organization: ORPAM, asked for respect to the communities and their people. And comply with the agreements made in the assembly: health, education and agriculture.
In the assembly the communities chose a coordinator, he will be their representative to GoldSands. He will choose the workers of GoldSands, they will work only eight hours and the company will give them security instructions in the work.
This assembly ends with the totally acceptance and the allowed entry to the company. GoldSands can explore and study the ravine and the Anguilla Island. And the 11 of July of this year, they will talk about the Sloop-motor 60.

All we need is a PR stating "Dredgers In Route To Mika 2". That's It!

You missed it many years ago my friend.
2011 Annual Meeting of the stockholders of Goldsands Development Company to be held at 10:00 a.m., CST, Monday, August 29, 2011,
I incorrectly stated August 12, 2011 in an earlier post.
Hold on to your britches little man. Might be a fast ride this morning.
Never a moderator around when you need one.
My guess is they will wait until the share holders meeting Aug. 12th to answer our questions. They will have the shares then to finance dredgers.
GoldSands Development Company (OTCBB:GSDC - News) (OTCQB:GSDC), is pleased to announce completion of the initial test mining program on our Mika 2 mining concession in Peru.
Completion? They are finished with Mika 2 testing?
I guess Swiss mining will continue mining to recoup their cost plus without the testing?
Or does this mean they move to another area and test mine while the dredgers move in Mika 2?
What??????????????????
And you are here to save the day Right? Go to Vegas and hang out at the tables and tell all the gamblers they are fools and that you are there to advise them to stay away.
Sounds foolish to me. LOL
1option will again disappear on the next run and claim again he predicted it. Same old story see you at a penny. Blah Blah Blah...
